Going into town to buy a voucher as tomorrow daughter and I are travelling to Te Marua for a family party, a cousin got married in Raro so this is a get together for us who couldn't afford to go, will be fun catching up with them all.

morning all, very very chilly start to the day here, might wait till it warms up a bit before we take doggy for her walk..
School hols now, L actually finished thursday arvo as it wasnt worth sending him on friday morning for 3 hours..
have no idea whats on the agenda for today, but time for another nice hot cuppa tea now.

Hellooooo...I am home again home again jiggetty jig. I had every intention of crashing in on coalie....but health wasn't up to it. We thought we might have popped in today but muttley was feeling worse for wear so we made a bee line home through the Wairarapa...sorry coalie...next time!
Nice to be home but was so good seeing our girls...gosh they work long hours though...and then some weekends as well. Hopefully their pay is in accordance! I did buy some odds and sods while away but I also left some behind which drommy has already put in the post for me.

Thanks coallie for that info. We have to celebrate that too, not that I have been here from the start.
I have been naughty tonight, have bought another book from Book Depository, on Free Motion Quilting. Finished stitching a luvly throw tonight with butterflies, looks really nice. Have a cute bright cot quilt to stitch, it's so nice to see what other people are making and I have the priveledge to top stitch them.

Nice quilt B, well done, you are really fast at making quilts.
Had a fun day with the family, were home around 730, but boy was I cold, had thrown my sheepskin boots in the car and when we stopped in the Wairarapa on the way home put them on, took still some time before I had defrosted, I am sure it never got warmer then 6 degrees. Anyway an early night for me today as I have lots to do tomorrow.

dilli I am up now and showered, usually I also have to get up to use the computer, but last night I decided to shift it upstairs next to the bed for the morning. Don't really like it rather sit up on a chair to google. So downstairs it is. Not really that cold here for the moment, had a little rain overnight which is badly needed as it's rather dry here. I can see Te Mata peak from our dining room and it's still rather yellow looking.
