Morning all, thanks for brekkie jumbo, was rather quiet at your place for brekkie, they must be sleeping late again ,except for dilli and me. No dust bunnies dilli just your sewing machine so we can have fun. Dilli hows the stitching going on your new machine. I have only today to stitch as Me is working the rest of the week.

called in op shop on way home and got Chockie boy a down duvet inner for $5 he will love it.

Oh goodie tim tam straws always thought it would be nice to try them. I am on me way.
Have finished the sewing order for the nappies and me new machine is great no gathering and no looping. so sewing great.
jugs on here again too to cold not to have it oon all day for nice hot drinks.

ah oh dear, Dilli i went to Jumbo's to see how many dust bunnies there were and oopsie forgot i was covered in bits from cutting the raggie ooops they all fell off eek tis a mess
will get Chockie boys vacuum bug catcher and see if it will suck em up .....

Been a busy few days sewing, wanted something to take to quilt group, so got a into g & free motion quilted my heart quilt so it is now ready for the binding. Put a blue sashing & a white peeper on the redwork quilt. Now after being at group I got to see how to put together the mystery quilt & guess what I have sewn the blocks in rows this afternoon & tonight after dinner will sew the rows together. Photos later.

b...that is so lovely! How long has the mystery been going for?
Safely home with an extra 3 metres of fabric! It was on a $15 metre special and is lovely. Skippie bought nothing...has she told you about the quilts she is quilting for clients? She is becoming well known for the fantastic job she does of them.
I am not going to be up long tonight because I have work for the next two days...so I will say nighty night now even though I will be googling for a while.

Skippie doesnt show us many quilts Jumbo but theres a privacy thingi so she cant but the ones we have seen yes they are fantastic and im not surprised at all that she is becoming well known for her work.
Skippie you know you could probably write something about your quilting in your profile maybe ?
ive finished the snipping, theres threads everywhere and of course silly me had a black jersey on lol will wash it tomorrow.

jumbo, we started three months ago.We were given b&w copies of the 3 part mystery & today we got the colour copy of the completed quilt. It has blown me away that I have actually completed it to this stage.

Evening all, yep have been busy and jumbo has bought fabric, I did try to stop her but there was no way I could, says she who received 9 meter from the Fat Quarter shop sale today.

Just had a long talk with the Dude via skype, he is going to be very cold when he gets to Melbourne from the Philippines.
Work for me the next 3 days, so an early night from me, sweet dreams.

B, your quilt is stunning! I can't believe those blocks you showed me a month or so ago have turned in to this! The colours are fantastic! It might be time for me to take a drive and check out the $10 per metre shelf at your favourite shop:o)

10 degrees is not to bad coalie not cold enough for the heater aything under 10 is though.
B you can keep the hayfever please a BIG no thanks here I suffer from that me slef enough. and sinusis. so will gladly give it a miss. heheheeee
Not good though that it is the fabric dust mind you thats prob what sets mine of all the time too, never thought of me sewing room, welll illl just have to take tablets as the fabrics win over big time.

Have just baked two choclate cakes and the last one is in the oven now. Have to ice two birthday cakes for the weekend.......
So holly there will be plenty left over ------ you loved that chocolate cake ------ I cant stand it meself. but then me aenta eating it.
will bake some biscuits tomorra.
Finished sewing the 9 squares/blocks together today.. so that was my target for the day . just have to zigzag the seams now then iron and re cut. Have set the target for laying it out and resewing the squares for the weekend. I think I can make it this time.

Thanks for the hot drink dilli just what the doctor ordered. I will be kind enough & keep the hayfever to myself just for you. As a fellow suffer how sneezes at the drop of a hat I just never thought about the dust in fabrics also have been handling batting putting together a quilt then the quilting where it has been up over my shoulder, on my boobs, thrown from side to side. That did not help.

Evening all, Looooove the quilt B, how big is it? I hope you are keeping this one yourself.
Was a quiet day till 4PM then they all came at once for their blood tests, I am sure they all stayed in bed to keep warm.
Bugger 10 dg inside dilli,it's not healthy, my bedroom was 9 dg this morning, but have heat pump going downstairs on minimum overnight, our house would get that cold too with no heating on.
What's for tea?
