Well it's a very chickeny sort of night because we had roast chicken and vegetables! Poor poor little cluckety clucks.
Tasty but!
I borrowed a book from skippie today and have made a couple of squares...just a square in a square design but in awesome colours. ALSo dyed some fabric for the frame and binding of the wonky stars...so had better go and rinse it off and wash it to see if the colour will do the job...you can never be sure it is right until it is dry...so I will iron it dry tonight!

jumbo it is still looping underneath and and the bobbon thread keeps snapping as does the sewing thread on top. I have tried everything. New Needle, stronger needle, rethreading, adjusting the tension, different stitch width , cleaning, oiling, and swearing heaps, and none work. Managed to finish the nappies of by hand. Not sure what else I can do.Will start looking for my old faithfull 730 or 830 machine Do not like this 930 at all have had nothing but problems......

well i found out that Daisy Bee is great at helping hang the washing out, she hands me one item and 2 pegs and holds another peg just in case its needed, and kept up my pace....so if anyone wants some help ......seems she is mums helper aye she knew how to do it.

My apples arrived last night so I will be stewing apples all long weekend.
my garage is now full with apples.
(just on 100kg of seconds - so it will keep me out of mischief for a while eh. But think of all those yummy apple pies and dutch apple cakes. and apple sauce of course.)

lovely sunny day here, cut lots of branches yesterday so have to clean the mess up, do housework although tis almost done um oooh have got next quilt sorted, going to use up all the script and music fabric, its all beigey colours and have a few white that i just realised i can tea stain/dye.
Hugs for mr 9 hope he is better soon.
better get on with things here, have a happy day :)

tea dyed the fabric, ironed it dry before washing to set it and oops managed to dye the iron lol have scrubbed it and tis ok now whew haha

I am only doing 1 box a day starting tomorra so that will take me 6 days
as have 6 boxes. That way I can frreze them in the icecream containers then once frozen put them in a plastic bag. So will use the icecream containers again and again.
No Dust Bunnies here coalie they must of got stuck somewhere on the way.

I'm on picking up the boys from college duty this afternoon so I am going early and will fill time by reading in the car...don't feel so lazy reading that way!
My HAT! What a beautiful cake...just as beautiful as the little girl it was made for. I agree with coalie...she looks so very grown up now. Time sure does fly.
Well I have made some squares in a square today...I think I have now got about 40...but need 144! Also you are not meant to repeat colour combinations...so is getting a bit tricky...although there should be 8 light pairs and 12 dark pairs and they haven't been done yet.
