| 33954 | Well it was all gone by the time I came back so dilli won't need her KFC after all!! I have been outside watching all the animals. The wind came up and they all went nuts. Brooke and Tabitha were chasing each other all over the yard ( whenBrooke wasn't hunting down leaves and killing them that is ) and DD's foal was hooning around his paddock while the goat was skipping all over the show too. Very entertaining and just a little bit time wasting...but fun.
Got the inner borders on my hanging I started with Mary Transom at the weekend but am struggling with what to use for the outer ones.

Ooooh twi...I have been meaning to tell you for ages that A's cat was suffering with a sore foot and has been on a strong antibiotic for a few weeks. She has been told that it could lead to feline aids. Apparently the sore foot thing that he has is quite rare but she said it is getting better. I have been thinking about Angel and hoping he is doing okay so was thrilled with the update.

So sorry to hear about your rattie wee...I hope the kids are all coping with the loss. It's a biggie for them. I bought a picture book the other day...I think it is called The Short But Incredibly Happy Life of Riley...a comparison of rats and humans. An excellent book with a fantastic moral. Older kids have really enjoyed it at school and it has been great for discussion about want versus need. I know that I have very few needs but heaps of wants!! Especially related to the activities on this thread....

Yes girls im ok after yesterdays rumble in the jungle, was going through some drawers at the time and keeping an eagle eye on the wee tv on top hoping it wasnt going to fall on my head! Instead the only thing that did fall was my mop (first bit of movement its had in a wee while lol)
another saturday on the soccer run again today, at least the wind isnt quite as bitterly cold as it was last week. My girl got 'hardest trier' award for her game which was up against her boyfriends team! He got 'hardest trier' for his team too lol

The day yesterday was fabo.
the show was just fantastic and yes saw jumbo shaking the hall/Aotoroa centre
The only downer was they had put new seats in the Aotaroa centre and they were very low which actually hurt to sit down in and a job for me to get out of.
But we had a fantastic day and I promptly fell asleep watching new tricks last nite so missed the ending.........
Have a busy morning with group (which was transferred from yesterday to today) then a oma nap after that. as will be sewing tomorra again
