morning girls. wasnt call the midwife good last night! love the show, might have to get the books to read one day.
I am trying to wish bacon and eggs to materialise out of thin air for brekkie this morning but it doesnt seem to be working dammit :(
On the quilting front however, I now have 8 log cabin blocks done so far, still not quite big enough to be a lap quilt ( I do have an ample lap to cover lol) one thing tho, because my piecing is not the best, some of my blocks are fractionally bigger than others so Im hoping its not too obvious when I get around to putting them all together. Log cabins dont normally use sashing do they, so I might have to try and be really clever with the way I arrange them

Back again! Got some stuff from the art shop as well....
Yes dilli...it was skippie who came to the door and beckoned me in. She had a needle as fat as a straw...and as blunt...was wearing a blood stained butcher's apron and fake dracula teeth. The kids in the waiting room screamed in terror but she soothed them by clutching at them with an iron grip and said, " You're next! "
I am now safely home. I had a piece of cake and a cup of coffee for breakfast and it was goooooood!!

Morning all lovely and sunny here but the wind is like ice !!
Have been a big sook and have just turned the heat pump off !!
Didnt get any sewing done over weekend was busy doing other things, spent sunday arvo at my dads going through my late mums things that were still in boxes and i came home with a car load of stuff, dont ask me where the hell i am going to put everything in my wee 2 bedroom cave..
I was going through some of her things and photos was not a good idea, it made me cry, i miss her so much still..but on a happy note my dads partner gave a big bag of wool for crocheting, will be able to use most of it to crochet rugs, will keep my busy over the cold winter months..
Have alot of things to keep my busy here over the next few days which is a good thing..

Thanks shell...a cuppa is just what the doctor ordered. Keep on keeping on shell. Missing Mumms is hard...I still do that as well. We only get one...and they are such an important figure in our lives. Big hugs to you.

i realised this morning that i had been overcharged for the jug so i took the docket in today and the lady gave me the total cost of jug not what i had overpaid ! she said twas their mistake so thats what they do, very nice surprise.

Me had a very productive day
finished all the cutting and ironing for the qppliques
So that is a very big job/task done - all in their seperate bags ready for the dolls quilts now.
So more sewing on Wednesday for me.
Need to sort out the sewing room a bit though lots of bags on the floor (have no where to put them) so no more fabric buying for me till my stash gets down in size.

Houston...I mean dilli...we have a problem! Not that there's a lot...but that you don't know what to do with it! It is imperative that you start quilting madly. That will not only keep you out of trouble, but keep you off that broomstick too! On second thoughts...I think I would rather see you on your broomstick...that way we could meet up more oftenerererer!
