morning ladies, its saturday so there wont be much in the way of sewing for me today since the kids both play soccer on saturdays. I have dragged out the next lot of ties to make more log cabin strips at some point this weekend but not quite happy with one colour group so I may have to venture into the treasure trove op shops next week to find ones that work....(insert robbie the robot waving his arms around madly "DANGER WILL ROBINSON DANGER") op shops are as dangerously bad for the wallet and cupboards as craft stores are! lol

Dilli im glad my kids didnt know you found some icecream in my freezer or they'd be in there trying to find it hahahaha.
How many more of those IV treatments do you need to have bhs? You must definitely live in a different part of chch to me, theres no sign of a frost here this morning, just loads of lovely sunshine.
Today I need to buckle down and cut another 12 ties into strips, managed to find a couple at the bottom of the bag that worked with the colours better. If the last set of blocks I did was anything to go by then I should get another 6 blocks done out of them. not sure what to do with the short pieces thats leftover from the strips tho, some are longer than others but they are all approx 2 inches wide. I might have to hoard them till I come up with a bright idea lol

Mornind on this brightly sunshiny one...and lots to do today after yesterday's get together. Had a great time...used soya wax to try batik and will be doing more of that...it's great fun. Also have a couple of projects to get done...well, one to get done and another for skippie and me to get started, so plenty to keep us out of trouble.
The bookcase looks amazing coalie...you clever clogs you.
Hope everyone has a happy day, and that holly gets the colours she needs...
