I rung about my machine and its still not ready, not happy :o( .as i took it in first thing monday morning, i wanted to do some more on L's quilt over the weekend. looks like i will have to do some x stitch or crochet now !!
Rain has stopped for now but it may be back as its getting darker and darker..
Just cooking a chicken to make a nice chicken casserole for tea tonight and i will have plenty to freeze too..

did i mention i dyed some black and white fabrics this morning outside in the sunshine, i wore gloves and then when finished decided one needed more pink, lol forgot the gloves hahaha duh. have it all snuggled beside the fire to get warm.

Well, what a busy sday. Dyeing this morning, doc this afternoon, picked up boys after that and had afternoon tea in town with them, yakked to Muttley about his day and fed the animals. Now time to think about tea...then dyeing again. Well...not actually dyeing but rinsing and washing and ironing.
We were going to have rain but the sun tried to shine instead. There was an unusual ufo shading it though...looked like a blooming leg warmer!
Come on Angel...fight fight fight! Don't let it get the better of you. Poor old twi...she's fighting for you so you help too!
B you poor old thing. I should send skippie to you...she's great with her needle and very gentle too.
Coalie...I bet the pink hands suit you! What colours of dye do you have?

I have now got 4 different yellows, reds and blues with robin'e egg and sage green and black. It is so much fun mixing to get greens and purples and browns! Lemon yellow, deep yellow, deep golden yellow and bright yellow.
Cerulean blue, navy, peacock blue and teal blue.
Turquoise.
New black.
Jade green and Robin's egg.
I had fuchsia too but that has all been used! Some of the dye powders weigh heavier than others...I think fuchsia must be one of the heaviest because there was not much at all of that.
Have a googlie ooglie at colour mixing. I put a little of the two colours I think will go well in a small container to check it out first. I reckon you would love it... but you will need at least one blue.
