At the Ashburton Model Train show for 2016 there will be 16 layouts including some from Nelson, Dunedin, Cromwell, Timaru, ChCh, and Ashburton. We will have a second hand table plus 040 Trains N Models plus a few other displays. Hope to see you there treecave

My husband is into smaller trains, He came with me to the riccarton market last week and picked up an engine for $30 was still in its box got it home it was brand new, very happy man

no i don't have a display. I will probably be there sat afternoon or more likely sun morn. do you know what scale your husband does. my home layout is HO $30 for any new scale loco is a bargain. no wonder hes happy. last new one I got was $120

We did not get as many people visit the show as hopped - but still a good show. Now to get ready to go to ChCh. Got some new plugs from Jaycar on Friday to make connecting the layout together easier. Sundays job

We have just returned from visiting Christchurch and this show was on this weekend. Sorry if you have missed it as it was the best we have ever attended, lots of really good layouts and retail was good too.
