"Brain Fart" is the technical term for a brain malfunction... generally when you forget what you a talking/thinking/doing half way through. The thing you were thinking about "farts" out of your brain...

lol iv just been reading my sewing machine manual and found this *faggotting lol faggotting was originally a way of sewing pieces of fabric together to disguise the fact that a join was necessary*just cracked up when i read that, also couldnt find the walking foot but have a darning foot, according to the manual i can use a open embroidery foot but thats not there either, will ring sister tonite to see if she still has them,

for machine quilting??? I just use a darning foot, i think they say the open embroidery foot as it's easier to see what your doing...

liz_taylor - 2009-12-26 14:37:00
2633

do you use the darning foot for free motion quilting, i think thats wat coalrange said but i cant find the post she wrote it in

twilight23 - 2009-12-26 14:59:00
2634

yep use darning foot and plate (as i can't drop feed dogs) Why waste money on a new foot when you can use it for fabric.... :D it takes a bit of getting used to with speeds as you have to guide the fabric through yourself so stitching can look funky at first

liz_taylor - 2009-12-26 15:32:00
2635

Twilight mines a darning foot, i dont have a walking foot.

Agood friend sends me emails about quilting - this is part of one :
