whoohoo secret santa shopping yay. kids who still live at home still get santa prezzies but they get them before bedtime Christmas eve now, i used to fall asleep waiting for them to fall asleep. Last year i totally forgot the santa prezzies, didnt even buy any !!!! they didnt mention it until a few weeks ago - felt so bad :( i have them all ready this year :)

We are in Pisa and about to go and see the leaning tower now. We are due to fly out at 6pm tonight, we are hoping we have no trouble because we are all feeling tired and just ready to get to Paris for 6 nights! Our longest stay in a place yet!

hi coalrange , i dont like earthquakes either, we had lots of them when we lived in dunedin, that will be a nice break for your son, thers so much to do in paris, were going santa shopping tomorrow now, so im going to bake some gingerbread stars with white icing, some yummy chocolate with fruit and nuts in it,lemon honey with the lemons from our tree.will share with you when all done, iv just done the vacuming yuk, we are having dinner at sons place tonite

No ones answering that other thread, hehe i googled an answer - when choosing a thread colour, remember that if the thread is close to the colour of the fabric you are quilting on your stitches will be less noticeable. If you are very comfortable with free motion quilting choose a colour that contrasts and shows up your stitching.

have baked a banana cake( still to ice with lemon cream cheese icing)made the chocolate yummy, made the gingerbread stars (stars because there were no gingerbread men shapes lol)still to ice tonite after i get back from sons place,made the kumara and orange salad for christmas day, will post so pics tonite when iv iced it all, didnt make lemon honey, to nacked now, will do that an other day, but did sterilize the jars lol,

Arghhhh! Just found out hubby was knocked off his scooter (moped) earlier. He's ok but scooter needs to be repaired, and until insurance company track down lady who hit him (only got name and address no phone number) we have to fork out $750 :(

Ok soooo fun morning so far, daughter went to drive to work, terrible noise from one wheel - stone in brake lining usually reversing will get it out but oh no not today, her and i had to take wheel off and prise the stone out hmmm both covered in grease oh what fun !!!! tis fixed tho yay, shes gone to work, time for me to get something done.
