Just noticed in the local rag North Canterbury Model Railway club is holding buy sell swap event at Rangiora A & P Show grounds function centre from 10AM 3 days starting Friday dec 4 Just thought I would pass it on

i see its a general swap meet. plants art and craft etc. hoping it would be just trains but still going for a look.

went up Friday slimgym. bit disappointed. not many stalls ( 5 or 6) and not much train stuff. there was a stall with a lot of cars, trucks, tractors etc for reasonable prices though. maybe there might be a few more on Saturday but not a lot of room for extras unless they set up outside.

yea we popped up yesterday, I brought at the garage sale stalls. Hubby brought nothing. next time might have a stall myself.
Good on them for doing it though, could have been something there. When we got there the car park was full, we thought wow, but it was for santas grotto.

strange that my husband left his for ages, said might just pack it up, but next minute is out there playing with it, he goes out does something, comes in sits down, and says not sure if that's going to work, next minute out in the garage, comes back it did work, I still don't know what worked haha

The Nelson model train show went well - great numbers in the door. Acorn Models were there as well as 040 Trains N Models and some second hand tables so good range of products on sale.

The Dunedin Model Train Show is on this weekend - Acorn Models, 040 Models, Models 4u and some second tables will be there. Should be a great show. I am heading down there to display my layout as well.
