ok so i made this quilt to have 1 1/2 inch squares aye hmmm but did i leave a seam allowance oh NO i didnt hehe it looked ok i never noticed till just now sewing it together and the squares are 3/4 inch square lol it will be ok but this is probably why ive been having sooooo much trouble with it.............LOL BIG TIME hehehe

well i went to spotlight with my BLINKERS on, only bought wat i needed lol, they were busy, mind you they do have a sale on, but i was very good,was NOT tempted lol hehe

morning all, theres a very fine drizzle here today not sure if its getting worse, sons have gone wood chopping (and d.in.law and 1 grandy), just finished the vacuming,also vacumed a very large carpet sqaure someone gave so i can bring it inside(was very dirty)
liz hope all the good stuff is at eye level, i was a spotlight yesterday, i couldnt reach the stuff up high and i didnt even have a sore bum lol hehe, well they do say good things come in small parcels, lol .
just having coffee, then sewing till 2.30 im picking up grandie from kindy today so son and d.in.law dont have to come home early

Hi Twilight, just got lovely long email from T&A have copied some of it here for you :

Amsterdam was also very beautiful and full of life, we went to the Van Gogh Museum, the Heiniken brewery and hired bikes. Having a bike around here is the cool thing to do, everywhere you look there is someone on a bike. We had so much fun until we all got lost and it started raining and we were riding around in the rain for about 3 hours trying to find our hotel...and it was FREEZING!!! The amount of people here is rather overwheming especially when we are used to the small kapiti coast. Like we went to the town centre of this place tonight and it's crazy how many people there were because christmas is on the 5th here (Holland).

yes thats right its St Nicholas, bikes are amazing thats the only way to get around because of population and cars, did you know that holland fits into otago and southland the population is some thing like 30 million and we only have 3 million wow its hard to amagine isnt it, the have a lot of immergrants, eg turks,dutch surinamers,(blackskined dutch speaking people)chinese, so very muilti cultured country. did they go to the red light area?

Just got sent an amazing video of them all on a boat singing the amsterdam song - tis amazing so good to see them all.

I just cant imagine that many people in such a small area.

Just got another email they are in Germany now, T thinks they are in a town called Linz haha he doesnt know where he is lol, they are staying with a friend of a friend, he used to be a tour guide so hes showing them around, said they are going to cologne tomorrow,

wow the video will be good, germany is a great place,are they going to berlin,we were there when the wall was there(east and west berlin) you had to go throu passport checks it was really scary
uumm im sewing crazy patchwork bag in pinks really enjoying it,just cooking lunch,my mumm gave me some bacon so having bacon and eggs yummy

yes went to spotlight, and to doctors... not tailbone but a abcess right over tail bone, on antibiotics to try sort it out, as preg trying to avoid surgery... seriously it must be my week. my dad made a dutch slice its got pieces of ginger, ground almonds, its buttery in texture then whole almonds on top, bought some home yesterday day, but ate it all at once yummy(so the kids didnt get it lol hehe)

i can lie on my side, or sit (with minimum pain) if i lean to one side, but sitting straight up (driving, sewing etc) or lying flat on my back hurts like hell. Bummer because i just got to the uncomfortable sleeping on my front stage, and my hips ache if i lie on one side too long.

morning all its not raining here yet, we did get some during the night, fiddle bum is coming from 9.30 to 1 d.in.law got an extra shift,have lots of hand sewing to while hes here, im going to bake first he likes helping.oh oh guess wat!!! the twilight express does all the baking for me, it has a fabulous kitchen in it, thats an other hidden feature hehe lol
