I am just waiting for coalrange fire to get going enough to cook tea...was late lighting it .....everyones working late anyway...so doesnt matter.....ok its hot enough now, doesnt take long at all...better get cooking and not look at any more auctions.

aaww thats nice fabric coalrange,grandies came at 3, 2 sons came home at 5 they had tea here, we had chicken crumbed sausages and bought chips it was yum, i did finish my wall quilt will take photo in the morning, do you cook on the coalrange every nite, does it get hot inside the house when it is going or do you let it go out when finished

Hi Twilight, coalrange usually goes 24/7 until summer (but today i had cleaned it out and hadnt lit it) all cooking done on and in it, washing dried on rack above it. Power bill for water heating this month was minus $1.50 hehe lol
Doesnt get too hot in here, cause its such a big room and then our bedroom opens to this room too so the heat just pleasently spreads out.
In summer we just light it for 1/2 hour to cook main meal and keep water heated.
Sooo what are you going to sew next ??

ohhhh was at docs today and nurse weighed me she was shocked i have put on 2 kilos, told her it was the almond icing, i didnt mention all our cakes in here....people have been put away for less than that hahaha LOL

So far she hasn't asked anything about christmas, and she knows it usually all organised by november (huge family) so at this stage, prob no to the christmas thing. She will show up on birthdays, for her grandkids, and maybe we will get a call or a text on ours or even a coffee. But other than that we dont hear from her unless she wants something. I was looking at a quilt in quilt shop that had won a jelly roll comp, lady told me she had made it, said they run classes in what she called 'bargello' so will google that, quilt had the tiniest pieces of fabric you could possibly sew, it was gorgeous :)

Sorry guys wee non fabric related vent here... Having to rethink our "if it's a girl" name for baby. Was originally going to be Bethany Marie, but due to our surname starting with W, the initials BMW just wont work (same reasoning my first daughter is OJB instead of JOB(her dad can't keep one)) Me and hubby both love the name Isabella, but due to bloody twilight (yes i love it BUT) everyone and there dog is going to be using Isabella or Bella, and dont want people to think it's cause of the books *mutters*

Ok baby names, sorry cant tell you my kids names they are very very different and i dont know anybody with their names but they all have 3 sylables each and the last daughter has the middle letters of the first 3 kids names in order which turned out to actually be a name.
Yup Isabella will be popular, shame really, would of been nice and has the same amount of sylables as your other little one.
Also they both end in 'a'
Hmmmm stupid Twilight ( not you Twilight ) they could of named bella something different.
