Had a fun morning making salt dough decorations for christmas tree, chockie boy was cutting out the shapes with cookie cutters, then when cooked and cooled he would help colour them with felt pens.......10 year old grandy made some lovely ones too, shes taken left over dough home to make more.

Got email from T&A they are in Manchester today and tomorrow - buying our soccer mad daughter soccer t-shirts hehe
He said weathers not too cold and can even be a bit too warm somedays.

Going to sew now..........

my niece in wellington is soccer mad, she plays it to, she was in london at the begining of the year for 6 months for her work she had a fabulous time meet lots of nzers over there, went to france and a few other places
we are shorties arent we hehe lol

Meanies, i'm shorter than both of you ( a smidge (like 1/4") over 5ft). Had busy day with my nieces birthday party. yesterday was awfull, ended up in bed for most of it

Hi Liz, that would of been a fun day :) i mean today not yesterday.
Twilight mmmm daughter plays soccer too, her bf got her a proper soccer t-shirt with her name on the back. She works saturdays because on mondays a whole group of her friends go to the park and play soccer all day (they all work and all have mondays off or work that night. She loves it, we brought the kids up encouraging them in rugby and soccer, not playing it but watching it, when they were little before a game on tv we would make silly hats and when game was on we would yell and cheer and be stupid but it got them interested and they enjoy watching it now....
Have just cut up the squares for dissapearing 9 patch now i can sew it all together again lol crazy aye cut it up sew it together then cut it up again just so i can sew it together again LOL

iv just cut out that bag, the one you posted, just going to x them, iv also seen it without raggie with seems on the inside , found some great ideas in patchwork (google images) bags and hearts crazy patch it took a while because of dailup on the 23 we get broadband i will put them in my favarites

morning coalrange, well iv walked the dog. made brekkie for everyone, had a tidy up, done the dishes, sewing for the rest of the day, grandies here from 3 to 4, off to new moon at 7.30 yay,
have a few minor ajustments to make to that bag, the front and back are the same size, the 2 sides have a raggie seam down the middle, so the bottom has to be cut a bit smaller, so have to unpick it whew, will do that now because i want to see wat it looks like hehe lol , its drizzely and overcast and muggy, have all the windows and doors open, my parents washed there windows the other day (big bifolding doors) and the birds a flying into them to, i said you cant wash them again, they said*well we wont be able to see out side*so off to sew now

well the bag is done, just have to wash it, iv just pinned the handles on, will take a photo when grandies are gone, it looks really nice, im going to sort out some more fabric to make more. the next one will be a lot quicker. its like a mad house here chase hasnt had a sleep and noah is singing to us hehe lol

Chockie Boy is sick - high temp last nite - no other symptoms, got bed on sofa today, hardly moving from it, daughter has got 1/2 banana into him and an ice-cream, when he's sick its so hard to get liquids into him and he has in the past ended up in hospital with dehydration. You just cant make someone drink if they dont want to no matter what their age........will see doc tomorrow.

Sounds like your having "fun" there hahaha
back to sewing for me :)

Nice bag twilight... Had a nosy at a lovely little quilt shop in the arts centre today, had hubby and liv in tow so didn't buy anything. Also managed to get some sewing machine needles at ballentynes (who's haberdashery section moved and i could never find it) $4.50 for a pack with i'm pretty sure is cheaper than spotlight :D then had to have a nap after all that walking in town

hi the movie was AWESOME, no screaming teens and i wasnt the only oldie either, edward was so YUMMY!!!!!! it ran for 2 hours and 15 min i want to go and see it again but will wait till it comes out on dvd well im off to bed to dream of edward quilts

Well, was just heading out the door to get my rubbish bin in, (heard neighbour getting hers in so knew they had been emptied), caught her sticking my bin in our front gate (i also do this for her if theirs are still out when i grab mine), "oh i've just put the coffee on, do you have time for a coffee" yep, so popped over, an hour later just got home and we have a trip planned to spotlight next monday.

My neighbours on that side are fab, my ex 5th form english teacher and his wife. His wife doesn't drive so whenever i'm heading to spotlight i let her know incase she wants to tag along, have coffee at least once a week. She loves sewing and cooking, is great to talk to about pretty much anything. She's pretty much a surrogate mum for me as my mother seems to have her head too far up her own backside to care about what her family is up too. She also got me a spotlight voucher for my birthday :D
