That alot of hours Popeye you have put into your pictures.Just hope they like them when you give them as presents.
Have cut out some bags and also need to do some mending while I have my friend's sewing machine. I will do some sewing today and baking. Have a share lunch tomorrow.Friend leaving the area.
Just waiting to hear from my cuz if I go up to Hamilton for Christmas/New Year thisyear.

Morning everyone
My Sister Loved jasmine Kiwimade she had a long fence of it.. Theres a street over from us with it too and its massive and long.
Thank you I thought it might be a taurean thing

I moved boxes yesterday and have stuff under two beds now, making more room in the spare room. Ive decided to use two of the dining chairs as bedside tables.
Ohh and I finally found my crate with my stash of lace tableclothes and placemats etc The crate had been in the garage at the other house and turned the wrong way for me to see what was in it. so pleased cos Ive been telling MrP that I knew I had more linen but nevcer found it. Yay

Used to be a part of a four couple group that had "fromal" dinners at each others places, so we got to use our fancy stuff lol. I miss that.

Have to post a couple of sales today so Ill do my blood while Im out.

Washing is on, looks like its going to be beautiful today

Have a fab day everyone and Kiwimade be careful on the ladder, get MrK to steady it for you

morning ladies :) The Furry One has just caught another rabbit, that's number 22 so far. So that's another one gone.

I didn't prune the jasmine yesterday as MrK was out for most of the day and he made me promise not to climb the ladder until he was home. So I'll see how it goes today.

I finished the embroidery for the bag last evening, if the weather turns today, I'll sew it, otherwise it's back out in the garden. I've decided the cushion MrK wants should be a 'box' cushion, I've never sewed one before but it looks straight forward. If this works out, I'll sew them for the outdoor furniture too rather than have them made. I'll have a tutu with some scrap fabric first so a bit of 'work' to do before I begin making it.

Happy knitting :)

Morning everyone

A warmish night last night, and the sky was clear when I got up, but the clouds are rolling in.

Shopping this morning, the Grumpy MrP said last week he was coming, but hes dressed to go out so I better be careful if I end up biting my tongue again lol.

Im enjoying doing my poppies, Im taking my time to be careful and with no time restraints Im enjoying it far more than most Ive done recently.

My friends that own the Nurseye here are coming tomorrow to pick up the empty banana boxes so that will improve the spare room..

I have been saving the tubes from potato chips, as well as Izzys mum with plans of doing an Advent tree but well I cant be bothered too much other stuff to do so Im going to list those on fb too.. I had a collection once before that went very quickly.

Im glad you didnt go on the ladder Kiwimade, MrP fel off and broke his back, while i was heading to Auckland from Putaruru, cos he was trying to put christmas lights in the trees outside.
I sold the ladder... cos I coudlnt trust him not to try it again.

Have a fab day everyone

Good Morning Ladies, overcast and grey clouds ,my garden could do with some rain, save me watering.
Have a couple of sarves to block over the w/end and will take some pictures of them. They are thank you gifts to two friend who have been there for me and always will be.
Had a catchup with a friend yesterday at a farewell lunch. My student is going to be away till next year so I will do some catch on my computer skills over the next few weeks.
The plants I got the otherw/end are doing well will visit the market this Saturday.
Talking about ladders I'm waiting for my friend to come back from Fiji next week as I had two light bulbs go this week.Just as well I have 4 light in my loung/dinning area or I would be sitting in the dark ha,ha.My friend and her twin sister turned 60 last week.
It be a slow quiet weekend so will tick off some jobs hopefully.
Time to move as I can see a change in the sky.
Have a great day everyone.

morning ladies :) The camellia tree can breathe easy now, I've untangled and cut back the jasmine. I need to do the other side of the fence, another job I've been procrastinating over, so will do that this morning. Always something to do outside.

I'm going to unpick the hardanger I started, just not happy with my idea. What seemed like a good idea in my head just isn't working for me. So I'll start having a tutu with this cushion and practice my sewing techniques before I spend money on the fabric.

Happy knitting :)

Morning Everyone
A cloudy day here too.. and a bit of wind out there.

Shopping went well yesterday, MrP behaved. It seems to be taking forever for me to get used to the length of the car, and I think he understands that now. PnS had awesome chicken bargains, so I got 2 trays of drums , I dont eat those, and some thighs .
when we were kids we didnt have chicken often, now its the cheapest meat to live on lol.
Im about half way on my painting.. Loving being able to do it without pressure.
I have a friend coming for the Banana boxes this morning and a lady coming a bit later for the chip tubes for the play centre.. and I have to nip up for MrPs drinks.

Hopefully I will be able to fi ish sorting the spare room into a tidier mess lol.

Have an awesome day every one, I have lots to do lol

Morning ladies - 3 minutes to go.

Well this morning didn't go to plan. I got changed into my old gardening clothes keen to continue with what I did the last couple of days, and I was no sooner out the door and the wind nearly blew me back indoors, so I thought "stuff it, the garden can wait for a better day" so I'm going to do some sewing.

Just had an email from a trade, the goods haven't arrived yet. Posted them 21st October to Tauranga. NZ Post at their worst.

Talking of ladders. Mr K used to tell me of him visiting his mother when she was in her early 90s and found her up a ladder cleaning the gutters on the house. He took the ladder home with him telling her that his had been stolen. When he visited next time she'd bought herself a new one!

I don't have a step ladder now, 'cos the muppet broke mine, replaced it and then took the replacement with him when he left. Awesome - not! And it is so nice being on my own again. I don't miss them at all.

Right, off to the sewing room.

Have a super day.

OOops Kuaka,,, was ya thinking of me when you wrote it lol.. There is a Burgess Road around the coast in Taranaki, and theres also Burgess house and park which is a beautiful old house ( Victorian) I think.. Beautiyul spot for weddings etc.

Glad you can sort it tho... Did it go anywhere on its travels? they normally stamp them

I want to go out and do something different, but I dont know what lol... But we are going out on the 14th to my cardiologist and I said to MrP we will go to Kmart, which might not sound exciting to some, but we can have a goo wander around, and look at their decorations and to look at their frames too.
Might go up to the Junktion we havent been for quite a while.

Should finish my poppies today, only have two colours to do. Then I have decided to start the Indian cheif. I can take my time .

Good Morning everyone. Warm sunny day here and they saying we could hit 30c Sunday. Been out in the gardens for the last couple of hours and tidyed up a couple of places that I had been puting off.

Finished a my mohair scarf last night will block it over the w/end. Not sure what my next project will be. Have to do some baking sometime over the next few days.
My friend comes home early next week after 10 days in Fiji,so looking forward to hearing how she liked it.Her and twin sister went over for their 60th b'day.
Time now to move and finish off outside as I have a couple of jobs inside that I have put off for weeks now and getting chased up about them.

Enjoy your w/end everyone and be kind to yourself.

morning ladies :) Both wheelie bins are full of jasmine and weeds and more jasmine is sitting in a pile ready for when the bin man comes again. And you can hardly see where I have pruned. So that's the fenceline along our road done, now to tackle the main road tomorrow when the traffic is quieter. I have a rose to dig out (yep, dig out lol) next week as it's just so sickly. It has never really done well even with lots of TLC. So out it comes along with all the soil around it just in case it has some bug. The lawn will have to wait too until the bins are emptied as the compost bins are full.

Glad your parcel arrived, kuaka. I can't imagine why NZ Post didn't get it right lol, didn't they know where you lived! :P

Seeing as I can't garden anymore today, I might have a tutu with this cushion. MrK isn't home so I can swear as much as I like lol.

Happy knitting :)

Windy again today, not sure when I'm ever going to get the garden spruced up. I can't stand the wind, makes me so tired. I'm off to the club shortly to play mah jong but I'll come home again if the numbers don't work and maybe this afternoon will be okay for gardening. I think the wind is easing off. I'm pleased with what I've done, I just haven't done near enough.

Happy crafting.

Good morning ladies.Been outside and watered my plants as the temp going to hit 27c today.Clear an area up the back yesterday and composted a couple of areas,
Not sure if we get many apricots this year. Heaps of small balls all over the ground now.We always have winds at this time of the year. Everyone is watering as the ground starting to get hard.

Sorted out a knitting project last night. Cleared around my loom in the shed yesterday and hopefully clean it up over next week or so.. Friend gave me some lovely carded wool to try out on the loom.
Baked a Christmas Cake yesterday,so that one job ticked off my to do list. Not sure where I 'll be this year for Christmas/New Year.

Had the winds as well Kuaka. Hope you are able to sort your gardens out.
Thanks for sharing your rose pictures on FB Kiwimade. My one out from the bedroom window is putting on a good show.
The jug just boiled so I'm off to make a coffee.
Have a great day everyone

Morning everyone
The sky looks a bit iffy at the mo, but will burn off Im sure.
Like you Kuaka and dont like when its too windy its wears you out somehow eh

I finished the poppies yesterday, will take a picture later.. For a Partial Im quite pleased with it. Will measure it up , like with the others and keep an eye out for frames.
I put all the diamonds for the Indian cheif into the storage containers, and when I do that I check if I have others and willmix them if they are close in colour.. some are totally different and some are identical, you couldnt tell the difference. Its one way of keeping things tidy and organised.

We are going to the recycle centre today, just to have a nosey, havent been there for ages.

The song restorer is helping Roly hes doing a giggle rather than a roll at the mo, but hes getting there. I never thought Id be able to do Canary Speak, but Im getting better too lol

Have a fab day everyone and please make sure you have sunscreen on if your gardening.

morning ladies :) Yes, we have the wind here too and if the sun goes behind a cloud, it gets cold. Today I'm digging out a rose that hasn't done well since I bought it four years ago. Am so disappointed with it but oh well. I'm just hoping there isn't any disease in the root system. So it means digging out the rose and the soil it was planted in and no rose planted in that spot for a while just to be on the safe side. On the plus side, it means I have a spot for something else. I'm glad you liked the pics sunflowers, you'll be seeing lots of them over summer lol. I'm sure there are friends who get sick of them lol.

I had a tutu with sewing a mock box cushion yesterday and it was quite easy to do. I just have to watch the corners but if I take it slow, I'll be ok. I like to be sure of what I am doing before I spend the $$$, especially as this cushion is going to be expensive. I was thinking if this works to plan, there is an old cane chair in our room that could use a cushion as well so I could make another.

Right-o, washing machine has finished so will hang washing out before I tackle this rose.

Happy knitting :)

Morning everyone

I ama pillock or blonde, or both lol.. Ive been saying to MrP that my fingers have been incredibily sore, thinking it was cos I clench my fits when I sleep... The light bulb came on this morning... I havent done any knitting for a few weeks... Doohhhh
Im thinking of digging out some cotton.. I finally started using my cotton dish clothes I made and I like them, But Im wondering how the cotton would go as tea Towels.. any input would be appreciated

Looks like another beautiful day out there.

I started on the Indian Chief yesterday, its a while since I did squares but I do enjoy the finish of the square diamonds.

Have a fab day everyone.

morning ladies :) A stunning day here with just a touch of fog earlier on. I've washed the outside of the house this morning, the birds have been busy pooping on it and the spiders have been building webs. I'll find someone to spray for spiders and flies this year, I think. I've trimmed all the lawn edges ready for me to mow tomorrow too so a busy morning all round.
The garden is really dry so I'll put the hose on it shortly. Thank goodness we're on a bore.

I'm tinkering around with a bit of embroidery, practicing my stitches for the cushion, just as well I have old thread I can use.

Happy knitting :)

Good Morning Ladie, Another sunny day here again in Hawke's Bay. Busy day yesterday with appointments in Napier and Hastings. Had a look around a couple of op shops Hastings. A couple had some good stuff in,but just about asking new prices,
Washing on and will do a mop of floors. Off later to lunch and have a look for some plants.
Need to tidyup the office sometime today as well.
Spend hours cleaning up my loom and I tied up some yarn to play with.

Box cushions can look great on chairs Kiwimade. I sure you will have no problems sewing them.
Popeye you will not go back to other dishclothes again. Knitted one last and easy to keep clean. Not sure about knitting teatowels. Alot of weavers weave their teatowels and have lovely patterns on them.Use linen thread.
Have a great day everyone.

Morning everyone
Another stunner today.. We got to 26 yesterday and that was on an inside wall away from the sun. I was warm but nothing like in the other house. And I hadnt put the big screen in.
I got a satisfactory piece of painting done, its nice not having to rush.

I Cast on 80 stitches for a tea towel, and am just doing it with a garter stitch boarder all around and stocking stitch in the middle... since its a prototype Ive done it in a crimson pink, not my fave red and white.. I might do red with a white boarder, if I like how the first one works.

More than anything if it helps A = keep me awake while watching TV and B= help keeps my fingers moving Ill be happy lol.

I know exactly when I started straining my fingers and I knew back then that this would probably happen. My fathers side has arthritis...

When I was in the sewing factory here they put me on the Elasticator machine. It had 4-5 needles and a system to stretch the elastic as you sew it into the pants waistband... 9/10 the stretching part wasnt working.. So I stretched Miles and Miles of nearly 2 inch wide elastic with my fingers...I knew this day would come, even back then lol..

Yay MrP is up so Ill be able to get the floors and kitchen done, if he stays in bed I generally wait till he is awake before I make any noise

Have a fab day everyone

morning ladies :) It was misty when I got up but by the time I had breakfast, a thick fog had come down. So I mowed the lawn in the fog and while the day was cool. Just as I finished, the sun broke through so good timing. I've sprayed the weeds I can't pull out and in this heat, it won't take long for the weedkiller to work.

Last night as I shut a window, it cracked so have called AMI and put a claim in. Just have to phone the repairer to come and fix it and job done. So good not having an excess on glass. Sounds like MrK is on the phone to the repairer lol. Funny how he won't deal with the insurance company but will phone the repairer lol.

MrK has been fixing the water pump as it's leaking again so I can't put any more washing on until he has fixed it. I stripped the bed this morning and it's in the machine waiting. One load is already out.

So all in all a very busy morning but I want to make the most of the fine days.

Crafting later when the day gets too hot.

Happy knitting :)

It is very hot up here in the Bay of Islands last night took Miss 7 to taekwondo and the gym was 31 degrees poor kid was as red as a beetroot when she was finished l ended up tipping my drink bottle over her head to cool her. As more kids came out they all joined in so we had fun lots of laughing happy kids good way to wind down from a grading session.

morning ladies :) Awesome huntlygirl! The kids will remember that evening :) It was hot here too, I didn't shut the windows until around 10.00pm-ish.

The broken window is all repaired, was easy-peasy, no hassle, just the way it should be.

I'm going out into the garden shortly, want to weed (damed convolvulus) before the day gets too hot. And I can put the hose on the garden as I finish each bit. Tomorrow the weather is meant to turn to rain so housework can wait until then. I sprayed some of the tougher weeds and the areas I don't weed (on the gravel) yesterday so at least that is all done.

Right-o, better dry my hair first and then hang the washing out.

Crafting later today, will make the pattern for the cushion and work out how much fabric I'll need and costs. I have the embroidery threads so that's a start.

Happy knitting :)

Morning everyone
Glad your daughter had fun Huntlygirl...

I put a screen door in the front door mid afternoon yesterday and it made a difference, but Im so pleased that even tho its still hot, Its nothing like the other house. I nearly put a fan in my room last night. but I will do that later today, and of course it will be cooler and I wont need it lol.

The Lazy MrP needs his beard trimmed and to get on the top of where he should be shaving but he hasnt. I told him if he doesnt keep it up Ill shave the lot off and then he will have to do it himself. He really acts like a spoilt brat at times,, sadly my own doing lol.

I have to get a couple of things up the road. Not bad tho havent brought anything since last shopping day.

The painting and the teatowel are coming along nicely. I sent the photo of Missy in to get a price of a custom, at first I wasnt pleased with the photo but I think it was the angle of my screen. Im waiting to hear the shipping cost and if its not too horrendous I will order it.

Have a fab day everyone

popeye333 - 2019-11-06 09:24:00
15376

morning ladies :) So much for a rainy day today lol, another gorgeous day on it's way. Yesterday I weeded all of the garden and filled the wheelie bin. Didn't think there would be that many weeds. And I still have a mountain of jasmine and camellia to bin as well. Might leave that to dry out for a bit then burn it. Today I need to empty the incinerator and I have some pots I need to either plant or replant. Housework needs doing too but it's just so tempting to be outside.

I worked out how many meters of fabric I needs for the cushions with a bit more as I'll be working with stripes and there will no doubt be some wastage when matching it all. And I've made the pattern for the chair's cushion. The cushion on the blanket box is easy, just rectangles so I can draw that straight onto the fabric. Next time I'm in town I'll have my embroidery pattern enlarged.

Coffees finished and MrK is up and about so time to move.

Happy knitting :)

Morning ladies, yesterday I had a lazy day, coffee with the ladies at stitch n bitch, then stayed on for lunch at the same cafe with the "bunny club" ladies. I just had wedges with bacon, sour cream and salsa and it was far too much, I only ate half of it. The lady next to me had fish and chips, supposed to be blue nose, which I've never had, but after one mouthful she announced that it was "revolting" and wouldn't eat it. She said for me to try a piece and I agreed. I had trouble getting the mouthful down, it was oily and tasted like it was on the turn. She sent it back and just had a portion of chips - which were better than the chips that were served with the fish!

This afternoon I'm working at the op shop for my friend - only 3 more sessions I think after today then I'm officially off the relieving list I believe. See what happens. Tonight I'm up at the same friends place for her crochet lesson. I told my son last week when he phoned while I was there, that she is my "star pupil". We all laughed as she is my only pupil.

I plan to do some weeding this morning, and maybe cut out a bag for the market on Saturday. Another market on Monday (ship in) and Sunday I have a snooker tournament. Don't know why I bother entering 'cos I know I have no chance of winning, but it's fun, and if there were no losers there would be no winners!

Right, get moving. Have a super day everyone

morning ladies :) She may need the shawl for later in the evening, flick. Especially if she keeps her wedding dress on rather than changing into a 'going away' outfit. It cools down once the sun goes.

We have a few things to do in town today, MrK needs to do another blood test. His INR is settling down thanks goodness. Every now and then it goes a tad wonky.

Our daughter has finished writing her book, now I have to catch up with the editing. So exciting! She has plans for it to be published next year. We're so thrilled for her, she's wanted to do this for as long as we can remember. Seeing her dream come to fruition is awesome.

Another stunning day here, by golly it was hot yesterday. Our neighbour has a firewood business and they were working hard cutting wood in the sun yesterday. They eventually moved it all to the shade under a tree. It looks like I'm back to very early starts when I want to work in the garden so I miss the heat of the day.

Crafting later, still having a tutu with embroidery stitches. I like to think I'm improving :)

happy knitting :)

Morning everyone
It certainly was hot yesterday Kiwimade.. But Im soo pleased to say when we got in from the shopping, the Garage was like an Oven, but as soon as we walked down the hall you could feel the temperature drop.. It was lovely.
Still warms up in the afternoon but not as early and not as hot as the other house.
Went for our Oppy Date last night.. Its nice but it needs some work, in smoothing out the rough edges... Somethings without prices, some with two and I know for myself I dont like taking things to the counter to find out how much it is, incase I cant afford what it is... It was packed to the gunnels of people... So I came home with 5 tupperware containers and 2 cookbooks. But we didnt stay for the prize draws etc cos it was just way too hot.

Our recycle centre is havng a 5th birthday anniversary Sale this weekend, so Im hoping to get a bath, Izzys dad will pick it up and deliver to us, will only be $10 for the bath. We will put it out the back and grow veges.. No bending and yay I like to pick some fresh veges.

On early cos there are some diamond paintings I want on here, have won 2 just waiting on the third one to finish.

Brilliant news for your Daughter Kiwimade.. bet your both proud.. Thankfully Im on 3 weekly testing at the mo.
Flick its nice to be able to cross one thing off the list... I wonder if they can tell you why she has the scar.

Take care everyone and have a good day.. And stay Hydrated

Sunflowers I left linen and tupperware with my parents when I went to Aussie, and Re-inherited it when she moved in with us.. Including Pots and towels that I had brought for my glory box lol.

One piece I was pleased to get is a larger rectangle slice keeper, I use it when I make afghans cos it holds plenty once iced. My other one is out of action until I get a replacment seal.

Ive been rushing about , going in worng directions, too much standing and too much heat... So now Im relaxing on here then going to paint as I didnt do any yesterday

Good evening ladies, I've been busy today trying to finish a couple of projects for tomorrow's market. I've got ten more minutes to do on the sewing machine, the rest is just darning in ends on a crochet lion puzzle ball and finish knitting and putting together a pukeko.

Yesterday afternoon I worked at the op shop. What fun and games we had there. I was behind the counter all afternoon and the "boss" (well one of the ones in charge) was out the back pricing things. At one stage she came out and asked if I had sold a certain jacket for $30 - apparently it was quite distinctive - but no, I hadn't sold it and it had gone. A bit later we had a lady in trying on shoes, and when she finally decided on which ones she wanted and went to put her jandals on, they had disappeared. I often wonder if people come in with empty bags and go out with full ones. We wouldn't notice most likely. I'm not sure what sort of person steals from an op shop, but obviously some do.

Right, I will go and do my ten minutes worth of sewing and then I have some paper work to do. It's true - a woman's work is never done.

Have a good weekend everyone.

morning ladies :) Looks like rain today which will be very welcome. I have to wash the car today, it's filthy. Road dirt and dust from the agricultural paddocks and from all the wood chopping across the road.

My hayfever is kicking in big time, didn't have it so bad last year so maybe it's making up for lost time this year.

My sewing machine needs a good service so I'll take it back to where I bought it in Hamilton. Even MrK heard it and commented 'it needs a good oil' lol... no, it's electronic. I keep it clean and regularly change the needle but I guess it has had a hammering over the last few months. And while in Hamilton I'll buy some artist boards to lace my cat embroidery on so I can have it framed.

Crafting of some sort later on, can't wait to get the cushion started.

Happy knitting :)

I've picked some more roses and lavender, washed the car and hung out the washing. So a quick sit-down before the kitchen is free of MrK and I can do dishes.

Kuaka, our op shops have surveillance cameras, a sad sign of the times when people nick from the op and charity shops. And sometimes they work in teams, one distracts the person behind the counter while another steals. I caught some shop lifters years ago doing that. Met them at the door and asked them if they were going to pay for the items they had in their bag. The counter lady knew what they were doing but couldn't get to the person stealing as the other person was blocking her and asking her questions. She was on her own which didn't help and why they targeted her. By the time I stopped them at the door, she was calling the police.

Morning everyone
It reallly annoys me when people steal, from anywhere, but especially oppies.
MrP used to sit on a chair in the old building the oppy was in, and he would point out to the ladies who had filled their bags. So they ended up barred from the shop.

I enjoyed myself yesterday, I got 8 jars with white on them which are the same as some red ones I have, a teapot cup and saucer with Keep calm and carry on, on and yes its red and white. I liked it even tho I dont drink tea lol. A couple of tupperware conainters but the best thing was 2 old Coke bottles and a crown lynn mixing bowl in a Bone colour... I have always wanted either the one with the ridges around it, or the really big ones in a darker tan colour. I got the ridged one, and a upright standing brush and shovel, all for the grand price of $25..

Then I stopped at the oppy and got some christmas decorations to finally make my wreath Ive wanted to do for years. We were far too open for it to be hung on the door in the other place. It should be safe here.

Izzys family went and picked up the bath for me and thats sitting out there getting wet.. It looks like new. I will gradually fill it with compost and potting mix in the next couple of weeks, but we have two trips to the superclinic within 11 days so a costly time.

Today Im sorting out the sewing room, which has become a dumping ground over the last few weeks... Thne I will paint in the afternoon.

Ohh and the fireworks noise was definetely lower on this side of town. Missy still didnt like it much but she doesnt get too upset, she just put herself behind the couch

Have a fab day all.. the gardens will be loving the rain

afternoon ladies :) We've had some good rain but the wind will undo all the rainy-goodness on the garden.

MrK is making a garden trug for his sister for Christmas. He made me one last year and she loved it (almost lost it to her lol) so I suggested he make one for her. It's our turn to buy for her this year and this will be something she loves. I use mine all the time, it's perfect for carrying all my small hand tools and for putting picked flowers/vegies in.

No fireworks here, just the odd rifle being shot as nieghbours take aim at the rabbits.

Time for lunch, then maybe I will be able to get outside. It's stopped raining :)

Happy knitting :)

morning ladies :) The Furry One has another rabbit bailed up in MrK's timber pile. To stop the barking, MrK has gone out to do what The Furry One has trained him for, to lift the timber out of the way lol.

We had a real doozy of a storm last night with thunder and lightening and huge winds. Today looks a bit better though.

Not sure what the day will bring today but I'm sure there will be something to keep me busy.

Happy knitting :)

Morning everyone
Wow we had a doozy last night... I wish Id gone out to the coast to watch all the lightening.. but woke up to see a fine day.

Fine enough that Im going to do the upright freezer. Im convinced that a man designed the shelves cos they are wire, not solid. And a right pain in the butt to clean. But Ill hose the sucker out lol I enjoy doing freezers .
I ordered sausages on friday and we will pick them up on Thursday so I want it clean to stack them in.

So ill do that, and load the dishwasher. Painting later. Im enjoying this one cos Im not rushing it

Have a fab day everyone

Morning everyone
Had a Rude awakening this morning, a Massive clap of thunder directly over the house, lol Missy flew under the bed and I got up to check everything was ok.. Sounded like a truck had hit the house or something. MrP said there was hail shortly before it..
I got the freezer done yesterday. it only took an hour, the ice in the top section was solid and thick. But thats one down 3 to go. I need to use some of the frozen berries, but we seldom eat jam too.. and MrP woould hit the roof if I tried to give them away.

I have to go up and post a sale this morning then I will resort the pantry again, I put empty tupperware behind the stuff Im using, it means they are stored without being stuffed in a drawer and it helps prevent the ones Im using from being pushed right back cos they are really deep shelves.

Looks like its going to be a prefect day for indoors and crafts, have a good day everyone

Afternoon ladies, had a boat in yesterday and so a market, once we'd set up I went off to park the car and as I walked back into the hall met a lady walking out with one of my bags followed close behind by my friend (who is also president of the craft group) to give me the money - yes, she had paid for it. But it was a slow day - lots of people in but not many of them big spenders. I sold a few things, so it was worth going but I thought with the amount of passengers on board we would have all sold a lot more. No more markets until the 23rd Nov.

Wet and windy here and not very warm. I'm about to have brunch then go to mah jong. Will do some crafting tonight probably. Tomorrow night it's the op shop fashion show, and Thursday evening it's quiz night and we haven't been for a few weeks, so I think we are probably going this week.

Other than that, not a lot to report.

Hope the furry one manages to catch that pesky rabbit kiwimade.

Enjoy your day everyone.

morning ladies :) Well MrK is swearing lol... blimmen rabbit has eaten all the new radishes tops lol, well, nipped them all off. Told him radishes grow quickly but he was not impressed!

Looks like it's going to be a gorgeous day here, I only mowed half of the lawn yesterday so will finish it today.

Haven't bought the fabric yet for the cushion but I have the foam for it so can now work out how much fabric I will need. Payless Plastics have all sorts of stuff, can't believe I haven't been in there before. They cut the foam to size and will cut the odd shaped piece I need for the cushion chair too. Might go to Hamilton later this week although I could go with MrK when he goes to some woodworking thing at Mt Maunganui next week and go to the Spotlight at Gates Pa.... hmmm.... no, not a good idea lol. Hate shopping for fabric with him lol.

Happy knitting :)
