116 | Also will try adding say instead of .... the initial choc into base to add say some dry fruit with a little choc and see how that goes, personally I think it will add a very nice extra variation to this lovely dessert. Cheers. valentino - 2008-08-18 14:13:00 |

120 | If anyone would like to save the pages of a thread have a page of the thread on your screen.. at the top left, click on the word 'File' - then 'Save as' - a box will pop up.. type the name of the thread - use the page number too if you want.. ie: " Dessert thread 1" or any other name, in the 'File name' part, and at the top of the box, click on the little down arrow at the right end of the 'Save in" box. A range of options will come up.. choose where you want to save the thread to - ie.. to your desktop, so you have it readily accessible. Now click on 'save' at the bottom right of the box, and your computer will take a few moments to save that page of the thread (or any internet page you want to save like this) so you have it readily accessible to read through as and when you want.. Repeat for other pages in the thread.. To access, go to where you've saved it, and click/double click on the name you've used, and it will open for you.. Hope this helps... juliewn - 2008-08-24 22:04:00 |
121 | Creme Brulee http://tinyurl.com/25j8kh Sounds tricky. Finished product looks (and is) restaurant stuff. Watch the vid and follow exactly what he does and its really quite quick, and VERY easy. illusion_ - 2008-08-24 23:40:00 |

128 | Queen of puddings! 2 eggs - seperated, 2 cups milk, 2 Tbsp sugar, 1 cup breadcrumbs or cake crumbs (I use lemonade scone crumbs), 1 tsp lemon zest, 1 tsp vanilla essence, and 1/4 c sugar. Beat egg yolks, lemon zest, vanilla essence, milk and sugar together. Place breadcrumbs in bottom of a greased oven proof dish. Pour in egg yolk mixture. Bake at 160 degrees celsius for 30 minutes or until set. Remove from oven and allow to cool. Increase oven temp to 200 degrees celsius. Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry. Gradually beat in sugar, 1 Tbsp at a time, until sugar has dissolved. Spoon or pipe meringue on top of pudding. Return to oven and bake at 200 degrees for 10 minutes or until golden. Serves 4-6. For the original remove lemon zest and vanilla essence and when first part is done, spread with 2 Tbsp raspberry jam, then top with meringue. (I prefer the lemon version though.) Yum! :) amiri1 - 2008-09-07 00:24:00 |
