Magic Slice (maggi's recipie!) 1 1/2 cups plain sweet biscuits, crushed
75 g butter, melted
1 cup NESTLÉ Milk CHOC BITS
1 cup chopped raisins
1 cup desiccated coconut
1 cup flaked almonds
300 mL NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk
Makes: 24 squares

Method
Preheat oven to 180ºC. Grease and line 18cm x 28cm lamington pan.
Combine biscuit crumbs and butter. Press mixture into pan.
Sprinkle NESTLÉ Milk CHOC BITS over crumb crust. Top with raisins, coconut and almonds. Pour NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk evenly over top. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Cool in pan, cut into squares to serve.

Oaty Nut & White Chocolate Slice This is from my nestle calendar and dangerously yummy!!!......
1C sugar,1.5C self-raising flour,1.5C rolled oats,150g butter melted,1 egg beaten,1C nestle white melts, 395g can sweetened cond milk,1tsp vanilla,1C hazelnuts (I used cashews)....Preheat oven to 180C & line slice tin with baking paper. Combine oats,sugar & flour in lrg bowl. Add butter & egg & mix well. Press half mixture into tin. Combine scm & melts in pot & heat gently,stiring until melted. Remove from heat & stir in vanilla & nuts. Spread this over base & crumble rest of oat mix on top. Bake 30 min approx until golden.

Russian Slice RUSSIAN SLICE - 125 g butter, 1/2 cup sugar, 1tbsp golden syrup (melt together) then add, 1 egg, 1 cup flour, 1 tsp baking powder, and 1 cup sultana's & 1/4 tsp vanilla essence. Mix well & spread into tin. Bake 180*C 20 mins. Ice with butter icing when cold then sprinkle over toasted coconut

Yum Balls 1 1/2C sugar, 1/2C milk 1 tsp Vanilla 1/2C butter..Boil in a large pot 3mins then add;
3C rolled oats 1/2C cocoa, 1Coconut,chopped nuts and dried fruit(in total)
Chill, roll into balls and roll in coconut

Triple chocolate chunk cookies 175g butter, at room temperature
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1-1/2 cups white chocolate chunks, about 250 g or one bag of white chocolate chips
1 cup chopped almonds, optional

1. Preheat oven to 180C In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat butter with granulated and brown sugar for 2 minutes. Beat in eggs and vanilla until smooth.
2. In a small bowl, using a fork, stir flour with cocoa, baking soda and salt. Beat into butter mixture just until combined. Stir in chocolate and nuts. Drop tablespoonfuls of dough about 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake in centre of 180C oven for 10 to 12 minutes until edges are firm. Bake a shorter time for soft chewy centres. Cool for 2 minutes on baking sheets. Remove to wire racks to cool.

Louise Slice - easy recipe 100g butter, 1/4 cup sugar, 2eggs, 1 1/2 cups flour, 2tsp baking powder,1/2 cup raspberry jam, 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup coconut.
Melt butter in a pot big enough for all the ingredients, and stir in the first measure of sugar. Separate your eggs and add yolks to the pot and mix well.Sift in flour and baking powder and mix to combine.Spread into a sponge roll tin, put your jam on top of that, then in a different bowl beat your egg whites until they are stiff, put in your second measure of sugar and coconut. Spread over jam.
Bake at 180oC for 20-25 minutes or until cooked and golden.

Slice in cafe yesterday had biscuit type base, then raspberry jam then a white layer, cream cheese maybe? then a coffee icing with shaved chocolate on it--any ideas?

Magic Chocolate Slice 250g pkt digestive biscuits, 1/4 c coconut, 3/4 c toasted muesli, 1/2 c raw sugar, 3 tblsps cocoa, 125gr melted butter, 1 egg beaten. FILLING: 60gr butter, 1 1/2 c icing sugar, 2 tblsps custard powder, 2 tblsps boiling water. Preheat oven to 170. Line a 17x27 slice tin with non stick baking paper, with overhang on sides. Process biscuits to crumb. Add coconut, muesli, raw sugar and cocoa, process to combine. Add egg and butter mix well. Press into tin, bake 10 mins remove and cool. Prepare filling, place butter, icing sugar and custard in a bowl, beat with mixer adding boiling water gradually until blended, pale and fluffy. Spread over base and leave an hour to set. Make topping Place 200gr dark chocolate melts and 65gr vegetable shortening in a bowl over a saucepan of simmering water or microwave to melt. Stir until smooth, Pour over custard filling to cover and leave to set. Cut into squares. I made this today custard can do with extra vanilla flavouring, really nice. From this weeks NZ W/W.

Easiest biscuits ever! Peanutbutter & Chocolatechip Biscuits.... 1cup peanutbutter, 3/4cup castor sugar, 1 egg-beaten, 3/4cup chocolate chips....Beat peanutbutter & sugar together in a bowl.Mix in the beaten egg.Stir in the choc chips - the mixture will be quite stiff.Roll into balls & place on an oventray lined with baking paper.Flatten with a fork.Bake in a preheated oven 180C for about 15min or until golden....That's it & no - there's no flour in this recipe.Yummy!!!

Shortbread... 250gm butter, 2T rice flour, 1/3c icing sugar, 2c plain flour. Chop up butter and place in food processor with other ingredients. Process until mix comes together. Press mix into lamington tin 28x18cm. Mark into squares or rectangles and prick with a fork. Bake at 160°C for 35-40mins. Cut again and stand 10mins before lifting out to cool.

Melt N Mix shortbread... 250gm butter, 1/3c icing sugar, 1/3c cornflour, 1/4c sugar, 1/2tsp vanilla, 2 1/3c plain flour. Melt butter over low heat allow to cool slightly. Sift icing sugar & cornflour into bowl. Add sugar. Add butter & vanilla, beat till thick & creamy. Add sifted flour, mix well. Press into lamington tin, smooth top with spatula, mark into squares or fingers with knife. Prick with a fork and bake at 180°C for 30mins until golden. Cut into fingers or squares while warm and cool in tin.

Snickerdoodle Biscuits 250g butter, 2 eggs, 2 tspns cream of tartar, 1/4 tspn salt, 1 1/2 C sugar, 350 g flour, 1 tspn baking powder....
Topping: 4 Tbspns sugar & 2 tspns cinnamon mixed together......
Mix butter, sugar, eggstogether then add the rest of ingredients, shape into balls and roll balls in topping mixture, place balls on tray allow room to spread, fanbke 180 8-10 mins.............these are yummy and so soft the kids love them......
