Held in trust - not simply held in their trust account and held for all sorts of reasons some of which would be gathering funds for an estate so held7ntil distribution, holding for “minor” beneficiaries until they reach the appointed age to inherit, holding until beneficiaries can be located, etc - lots of reasons none of which are dishonest or misleading.

I knew that too and I knew you knew and I thought perhaps sarah would know that by now considering she isn't so new.

If this is the case then it is clear that the system of lawyers & accountants being required to operate Trust accounts is working.

Not sure what the problem is with this. Do you think having clients money going into an account that they use pay the photocopying out of would be better?

Sarah does, I do but people who express concern at the concept of lawyers operating Trust accounts may not know.

That's a matter of opinion....lol

So make an allegation, based on hearsay and aren't prepared to back it up or discuss it. Typical.

sure there is, but for how long a time period?

In your experience what’s the average time a basic estate takes to settle? House sold, no debt, 2 beneficiaries, no issues with the will?

Too many variables to consider even in that scenario - there is no average. How long is a piece of string? Absolute minimum of 6 months from grant of probate assuming probate is needed but sometimes it can take a while to get probate depending on how complicit the executors are.
