If you go into your teleco, Kuaka, they should be able to transfer your old number to your new phone and your contact list could automatically follow. And they could put the SIM card in for you too.

Morning everyone

As Kiwimade said Kuaka, pop into a phone shop and they will be able to swap stuff over for you.. but Id also back up your pictures to your computer too if you can.

I went down to take the rubbish bag off the recycle bin this morning, to discover it had been done, but someone had put electrical gear and clothes into our bin, and the ones next to it. So I dumped the stuff on the ground.. I dont mind if people want to put their recycles in, but putting rubbish in it means it wont get taken and you can be stopped from putting the bin out.

I did quite a bit in the craft room yesterday, and will be back in there shortly. The machines are on the table finally. but Im going to carry on sorting things out. I even found the instruction manual for my sewing machine, which I got second hand in 1995ish. And its good to visit my fabric, Im putting it into my old dressing table. Some of it is offcuts from some good memories, like singing competitions with C.W.I and fancy dress parties in country music groups we used to belong to.

The clouds are in so I dont think the rain will be far away.

Have a fab day everyone

Hmmm, well I'm with skinny for my phone and the nearest one is Whangarei. Nothing here in Paihia, there is spark and vodafone in Kerikeri but not sure if they would help, so I will try phoning skinny. I have managed to transfer the contacts and the photos but can't set up the emails on it. Grrrr! I can feel my hair getting more and more grey as I type!

Good Morning Ladies. Another sunny day again. Spend most of my time out in the gardens. Cutting climbers, weeding, dead heading flowers.Last night after tea I fell asleep with knitting on my lap and the TV on.

Kuaka, I had to get a new Cellphone when I was away eariler this year. I'm with 2degrees and have great service. Purchased a cellphone for a family member in Jan this year who is blind. They ring her up from Napier to check everything ok with her phone. If I need a top up and I'm in town I go in and they just do it for me. Also check the phone it for me as well.

See you have had some frosts up your way Kiwimade. Just hope it's a sunny after the frosts. We have had some as well.
Time to move and hang out the washing.
Have a great day everyone.

morning ladies :) We've had a wet afternoon/night yesterday but not complaining, really can use the rain. We had a mild frost the other day sunflowers, and it was a stunning day. No wind for four days now, loving it.

I have a busy day planned today, MrK has some scrap metal for me to take to the recyclers so it's a trip to Hamilton. Have a few other bits and pieces to do so it's a worthwhile trip.

MrK has finished his part with the Little Library, he needs some help to bolt it to the posts so will organise that. Hopefully it will be up by the weekend.

Still knitting beanies and embroidering the cloth, I should make more of an effort to finish it.

Happy knitting :)

Morning everyone
A bit drizzly here, not as cold as yesterday.

Talking of beanies Kiwimade, I found patterns yesterday for some.. So Ill will do a few of those too, to go with booties for Beanies for Babies.

Got alot of work done in the craft room and just have some fabrics into the drawers and some stuff I have kept out of boxes that Ill need pput into order.
Then Ill have a couple of days off and hopefully itwill be fine enough to get into the garage.. I think it will be easier to open the door and sort stuff and put it back into order, rather than trying to trip over everything in a cramped place.

At least while Im busy Im not missing baking. Im going to let the property manager know that its hard to get racks etc for the oven so she will have top talk to the owners and sort something out.

Have a fab day everyone

morning ladies :) Good to 'see' you flick :)

We had a doozy of a storm last night but has gone now and left us with a sunny morning.

The Fluffy One is with us again, it's going to be a long three months with all this coming and going.

We have a mouse in the kitchen, both dogs headed straight for the same cupboard this morning. I always trust the dogs' noses. So I'll dig out the mouse trap and set it after I have finished my coffee.

Just a bit of gardening to do, salvias need pruning and a bit of weeding. My roses are still flowering, I have buds growing and there are a couple of early cheer daffadils out too.

I'll do some crafting this afternoon hopefully.

happy knitting :)

MrP said it was wild and wool last night, but I slept like a log and didnt hear a thing. Still a mixed sky .. You watch tho, I want a couple of fine days so I can do the garage, I bet it will be, and I need to do the shopping tomorrow lol.

I managed a pair of booties yesterday, found some 4ply while sorting in the craft room so have a few colours I can use.

Today I am having a day off...will knit after Ive wrapped a parcel up for the BIL.. Kiwimade Im finally posting the embroidery books for you tomorrow.

Good Morning ,
The sun and the winds are very strong here. Picked up 14 oranges semi ripe last night. This morning more oranges down. Will juice the semi ripe ones. Sun is out and more strong winds again.
Had abite of a melt down yesterday.Things would not go right for me.
Pulled my knitting off the needles a few times yesterday.

It's good to have all your craft matericals tidy and easy to see. Popeye. My craftroom off the sitting room. Have to get in and sort it out if the weather not fine this weekend. Still heaps to do outside as well.

I hope you are able to catch the mouses. The dogs sure let you know Kiwimade. Looking forward to seeing Mr K handy work.
Want to stay home, but have appointment this afternoon to see if I can have a fixed rate on the mortagewith with our bank.I know it will cost me but I need to move it over to our bank.
Happy crafting ladies.

Yep Sunflowers my craft room is off the lounge too.. it has double doors, so it can be shut away. Im liking how it is for now.

I have sewn up 5 pairs of booties this morning... Ill do a few more then send them off to charity..

It has fined up but Im not going to risk getting stuff out incase it clouds over again.. Apprnetly we have a 36% chance of it raining... I wont take the chance lol...

Flick we love electrical storms too... The best Ive ever seen was the coast over Opunake, South Taranaki.. It was stunning

morning ladies :) Ohh thanks popeye, I look forward to them arriving :)

The chap from the Lions Club came and took the Little Library away and they will bolt it to the posts. It's really heavy so am pleased we don't have to do that bit. Once it's all painted and 'good to go' I'll take some photos and post them. MrK is rightly proud of it :)

Yoga this evening, thank goodness. Being squashed against the Furry and Fluffy Ones at night doesn't do my back any favours. And yes, I know I could kick them off the bed but both dogs have been brought up sleeping with people. And it was just as well our boy was on our bed at night when he started having his seizures. Our vet told us he's been epileptic now for four years, time has whizzed by.

I finished another beanie, a blue and white one this time. Must get back into my embroidery but have my sewing machine out at the moment. Am sewing some more produce bags. I sewed some a few years ago and I need more.

Happy knitting :)

Afternoon everyone

I knicked out early to shop today. Cos we are babysitting today. Its Izzys siblings parent teacher interviews today.
And on top of it her Big sister moved out last night so she is sad... Glad I got her a few treats for when she is here.. it will help keep her happy. Its only for just under a couple of hours so we should be fine.

Its soo cool having a grandy to spoil lol.

Parcel posted Kiwimade, I hope they inspire you to make something..

I managed to pick up a bedside light, which is the same as mine but white and a couple of single sheets for Izzys bed at out local oppy on my way home.. So now I have to dig out the blankets that are in a bag in the middle of the garage lol

Right I better get a couple of things done before Izzy Arrives...

Hope everyone is having a fab day

morning ladies :) Woooaahh what an awesome storm we had during the night. Both dogs weren't too sure of it but settled down after a pat and seeing us settle down. Long weekend coming up so drive safe if you are on the roads.

Yesterday I sewed some more produce bags, I just didn't have enough. The bags I sewed a couple of years ago are still going strong but sometimes when we buy things like mushrooms, the vegies/fruit stay in the bag in the fridge which runs me short for the next supermarket visit. I get loads of comments from people too.

There are leaves to be raked up if it stops raining, nothing compared to what I would rake up when we lived in town though. I love this time of the year, not too hot not too cold.

Definately going to be crafting today, but there will be a quick trip into town at some stage.

I'll keep an eye on the post, thanks popeye.

Happy knitting :)

I was actually woken up by the thunder this morning... The vertical blinds dont let much light in, but I was facing the en-suite so saw the litchen through that window..

YAYAY we have waxeyes... I saw three yesterday..!!!! And I forgot to get their seed, but I have to pop up and get meat for Missy, so will grab some..
This morning I was getting breakfast sorted and the birds were eating breadId thrown out yesterday, there was a quite dark thrush oout there, had a few nibbles at the bread then found herself two large worms... Told MrP She had a Two Piece pack with a bread Roll lol...

Had fun with izzy setting up her room.. She mentioned her sister a couple of times but seemed ok. She arrived with some toys to leave here, and we had to empty the drawers to put things in lol..

Ill get FB done and then go up the road.. then knitting..

Be safe on the roads if you are travelling... Have a fab day

Good Morning Ladies. Not having a very good week. Not sleeping much. Around out 4-5 hours a night. New meds yesterday have to pop in to medical center later today. Have a physio appointment this afernoon. Starting to feel a washed out rag.
I have also a lisit of paperwork to put togther for the bank. The weather been fine and warm so got alot of work outside done. 3 wool bale packs of weeds and lawn
clippings went out yesterday. The orange trees has lost alot of fruit this week when we get winds come down the side of the house. Will juice some more fruit today.

Hope you enjoy your little vistor today Popeye. What you have got planned for the weekend? Maybe some baking.
Kiwimade, you must have just about finished your garden cleanup. Hope you able to get some stitching done over the w/end.
Happy Crafting everyone.

I wish sunflowers, re the baking

There isnt a rack in the oven.. and the dials have no numbers or settings.. Ive decided not to bother and try out the temps until I know if they can get a rack. There is a tray in there but baking wouldnt work so well heating two trays..

I was thinking tho if MrP wants something I could make a steamed pudding which is nice to eat cold like a loaf, and I could make an uncooked slice too.

Morning everyone
Another wild and wooly night.. And the temp has definitely dropped.

I put the seed cake and some bread out for the birds this morning. No takers on the cake as yet, but they got disturbed with a short hailshower... Hopefully the wax eyes will come in now the bigger ones have allhad their fill.

I did some in the garage yesterday, found MrPs bottom teeth. So he is happy. And I found my box of crafty bits I was missy from one of the pantries. And the last bag of wool. I was missing the pink and purple lol.

So Im back there this morning, I told MrP that I wasnt going to unpack his tools as yet as there isnt anything for him to need them, he agreed so Im pleased with that. but I want to get all the preserves back into the bit pantry. And get closer to being able to put the car in there.

A friend is going to lend me her Edmonds microwave cook book, so Ill have a wee baking session eventually...

Once Ive done the garage I will get back to my knitting, then I wont feel quilty about sitting and knitting..

Have a fab day everyone

Good Morning . Very strong winds and grey today after a warm sunny day yesterday. Pickup a bucket of half ripe oranges yesterday. Will juice them today.
Visited a friends yesterday and we walked about 4k to have coffee. Today I will oil the sewing machine and fingers crossed it still works. It's a Singer Machine. My other is a Bernina Machinewhich was my mother's and its over 50 years.Just had a service. Have had people wanting to buy it. I am not moving outside today, just want to have a day to do what I want to do.

How it going for you and Mr P in the new house. It sounds like a good one place. May you both have many more happy years. Good to hear you have just about finished putting everything away.

Looking forward to seeing the box Mr K been working on.
Time I moved as the temp is dropping down. If I keeping moving I will be ok. Light the fire later when I have finished a couple of jobs.

Good weather for crafting today. Let's make the most of it.

morning ladies :) Yes sunflowers, pretty much finished the winter cleanup. Just general stuff now with weeding and raking leaves. My roses are still flowering as it has been so warm but hopefully now the cold has set in they will start to hip for the winter. The seasons are certainly our of wack!

It's been tricky trying to knit or sew with two dogs competing for my lap. The Furry One gets jealous when the Fluffy One has my attention so I end up having both of them snuggled up. Only eight days to go lol.

Yesterday I slipped onto my back going down the ramp and I have a swollen, bruised foot. I thought my back was OK but this morning have woken up stiff and sore. So I will keep moving and hope the stiffness eases off with exercise. MrK scrubbed the ramp with sugar soap so it's not quite so slippery, it doesn't see much sun over winter so doesn't dry out much. And it wasn't even like I was moving quickly either, I knew it was slippery so was going slowly.

Anyhoo, better keep going, washing machine is on it's final spin.

Happy knitting :)

Afternoon everyone

Wow Kiwimade, you be careful.. We put bird nettng on a ramp we had at another house.. makes it much safer. They always say the day after will be worse.

Sunflowers we have the sun today... still cool tho, I relented and put the heater on for 20 minutes last night...

I spent two hours in the garage this morning.. it probably looks worse now than it did. but all the empty and full jars are back in the pantry. I have three boxes of books to empty this afternoon.. And that will be 13 banana boxes I have emptied today.

I will offer them on FB, until Tuesday, and if no one picks them up Ill flat pack them and take them to the recycling when they open on Thursday.
I need muscles for the other boxes of books.. and I have some crates I will move into the spare room (Christmas decs)... and I would say I have 2 more days before we will be able to get the car in there.

My friend brought a microwave edmonds book around this morning, Im very surprised at what you can make in them.. The recipes made for 700watt ones tho, min is 1100 lol

We wee break and then Ill go do these other boxes... yes Sunflowers MrP loves the house, he doesnt do anything now.. Just sits and watches tv...

morning ladies :) woahhh what a doozy of a frost this morning :) Love it! We still have a few flies buzzing around so hopefully this will be the end of them.

I'm still a bit sore but seem to moving a lot freer this morning. Was a tossing-turning night though to get comfortable.

When the frost lifts I have another couple of piles of leaves to compost and some rubbish to burn. Lawn needs mowing again but will have to wait until the wheelie bin is emptied tomorrow, once these leaves go into the compost bins, they will be full again.

I have some baking to do and some crafting later provided my lap is free of dogs. Terriers are determined little buggars lol, just as well I love them.

happy knitting :)

kiwimade64 - 2019-06-03 08:11:00

Morning everyone
I thought we might have a frost too Kiwimade, but none.. Its cold enough tho.

I said to MrP this morning, I sort of Missed winter last year, in and out of hospital and generally staying in the lounge being unwell, cos I dont remember the cold thats for sure .

I had a good time in the garage yesterday. The 16 empty Banana boxes are going this morning, and Izzys parents are coming around to put the heavy boxes on the trolly for me. And we will put our heads together to see if we can adapt the couch raised bit higher and make it more stronger as MrP is not a little man anymore. Hes actually heavier than me and thats a first.
And with that done it wont be long until the car can go back in the garage.. After Ive given it a good sweep out, cos I want to make sure there is no sign of the mouse bait I put in before we moved in, so that Missy doesnt get any of it.

The birds are loving the seed cake. We had 5 waxeyes yesterday in the late afternoon, so they are spreading the news lol.

Have a fab day everyone... and please be careful on the roads

Morning everyone
A chilly start to the day but plenty of cloud cover.

Im having a day off today, just want to relax and do what I want for a change. I will have to pop out to get milk later, so I might visit the oppy while Im out.

Made chicken stoup for MrP yesterday too thick for soup, not thick enough for stew... loaded with noodles... He loves it. So I guess now I only have to make toad in the hole to declare its winter lol... Its never quite as good in the glass cooker that it is in the oven tho. I may make it today sincethere is plenty of stoup for MrPs tea.

No birds at the bowl as yet, but haing Missy sittoing at the door would be enough of a deterent for me if I was a bird too lol

Have a fab day everyone

morning ladies :) Lawns are mowed and just in time. As I put the mower away it started to spit rain :) So go me lol. It took a bit longer than usual as I was limping my way round the lawn but got there in the end.

No waxeyes yet in our garden but they were late last winter too. In the meantime the other birds and honey bees are making the most of it.

Time for a cuppa and make up some more lolly water for the birds and bees.

Crafting later on.

Happy knitting :)

l put some bruised bananas out on a plate by the ranchslider yesterday and the wee waxeyes had a lovely feast they flittered around for a long time. l also feed 2 kiwis at night with a treat of cats meat they actually come up onto the deck now and look at me. l put sugar water out for the tuis but usually attract rainbow lorikeets.

Kiwimade and Huntlygirl what ratio do you make the lolly water?

I like feeding the birdlife, and I do it in front of the ranch slider so we can see them

popeye333 - 2019-06-04 12:21:00
14882

omgg huntlygirl how lucky are you to have kiwi!!! Am so jealous lol. My sister-in-law colours her sugar water red as the tui are attracted to it. Popeye, I know you don't want bees so close to the house lol but I put roughly 10 heaped tablespoons of sugar to a mason jar of water. I bought one of those mason jars with the dish as a lid from the garden centre, you fill the jar, put the dish-come-lid on, flip it over and good to go. I also have a small rock for the bees to land on safely. Kinda like a landing pad lol.

I have been watching the lawn while the food was out for the day there was a fantail, a blackbird and 20 odd waxeyes then 2 rabbits popped out of the bush. Great way to give a boost to my mood l am so fortunate to live here. I am only 5 minutes drive from Kerikeri but live down a 500 metre driveway so it is so peaceful. I am going to buy a possum trap to get rid of the noisy things then l can just enjoy the kiwi calls at night.

morning ladies :) huntlygirl, you are just so fortunate to live where you do :) A [ossum trap is a great idea! We have a shining cuckoo somewhere, can hear it's calls most days now. It appeared a few winters ago and now seems to be a regular visitor.

Looks like we are in for a nasty day weather wise so shortly I will organise water for the loo, kettle and drinking just in case we have a power cut. No power = no water here. We have a gas camp cooker so will be fine.

Better get moving and get organised for the day. Crafting later on, should be the perfect day for it.

Happy knitting :)

Morning everyone

Wow I slept in big time lol... Was nice and warm snuggled between a hot water bottle and Missy lol.

Speakng of Missy she went for a wee wander outside yesterday, I didnt quite shut the door far enough to click. She looked very scared when I found her, thankfully heading back towards the front door. It is safe from vehicles here but I dont want her outside getting bugs from other animals etc.

Had a headache all day yesterday, and still a bit this morning... I had a quiet day tho and have actually started on a Mrs Claus. Have a few phonecalls to make today and go to the med centre to get a test form for mrP cos I forgot yesterday.

And yes it looks bad out there weather wise so Ill be knitting later too.

Gas it is pelting down here. Just went to have a shower was all altered up with shampoo and the gas ran out for heating the water. I also need milk so l can have a coffee so hope it clears up soon. The forecast for Northland isn't looking to good.
My crafty pursuit today is to make pantry labels and type up some recipes to be laminated. I am a kitchen specialist for the garden to table class at my daughters school. At least this weather will get things growing, my strawberry plants have hundreds of runners so will need to get a bed ready at school for them. My wee girl is 7 on Sunday and has asked for a verge garden so am going to do one at her other house in case my lease isn't renewed in Dec.

huntlygirl - 2019-06-05 10:28:00

morning ladies :) omg lol huuntlygirl, that is my worst nightmare, running out of water while shampooing my hair lol. When we first moved here, we forgot to keep the water tank full (such townies! lol) and yep, it happened. We are planning to go gas for our hot water and they told us to never turn the second bottle off so it can be automatically changed over. I love your job, and very cool your daughter has asked for a vegie garden.

We had a power cut (again!!!!) yesterday afternoon and the power was due to come on at 8.00pm. Luckily they managed to get it back on much earlier. I had a sneaky suspicion we would have one so we were organised.

A quick trip into town is on the agenda today and I will fuel the car up as the railway crossing we cross to get to our local petrol station will close over the weekend for maintenance.

The Furry and Fluffy Ones have the couch all sorted now, one snuggled on my feet and one on my shoulder with his bum on the top of the couch and a toy in his mouth. You would think by now it wouldn't be an issue where they sat/slept in the evening.

Crafting later. Happy knitting :)

Morning everyone

Ohh Huntlygirl, you reminded me of years ago, we lived in a mobile home , a huge Bus.
if the gas ran out on the water, it was always me in the shower.. but the worst time was at a hall one easter when we were helping to run some ountry Music awards.
MrP parked the bus. "guessed" we were close enough to the tap to fill the tanks etc... bu Noo there I was in the shower, covered in soap and shampoo, not only did the gas run out, but so did the water... and then we were about 2 meters short from the tap.
So I had to hang on tight while he moved the buss closer to the tap, to fill the tank and swap the gas bottles... I will never let him forget the "Guess"... It never happened to him lol.

Had a lazy day apart from nipping up the road yesterday. Sat and watched the Waltons movie with Missy on my knee last night.

Shopping today so I better get a few things done before I go.

Have a fab day everyone..

Oh Kiwimade the patterns went back in the mail yesterday

Busy working at present on paperwork.Just about over it. Could be doing some sewing or knitting for myself .Next week I will know what what after been to the bank.
Yes, there has been lots of tears, late nights. I never use to let it get to me when we had the business.
Last night I sorted fabric and cottons out for the sewing classes that a couple of us are setting up. The local Polytech has given us the go ahead. Eight sewing machines arrived and two over lockers

Just picture you on couch with the two dogs. Abite hard to do much knitting or stitching.Kiwimade.
Hope you are having some sun after this strom. See people lost some roofs up your way Kuaku

It's bucketed down with rain over night, hopefully the day will be clearer.

I went to Yin Yoga last evening and am really glad I did. I took it easy and didn't push myself quite as hard as I'm still a tad sore from slipping over. But it was worth the effort and the cold.

Morning everyone

Shes wild and woolie out there... And we have alot of protection from all the trees, wouldnt like to be in our old place today, thats for sure

I didnt do housework yesterday, I took the nicer option and sorted books instead.. And after taking about 3 trys to get them done, I moved a narrow bookcase into my room last night, for an empty corner and will chnage them around Again today lol... Its never hard playing with books.

I have someone coming for boxes this morning, hopefully. And Izzys parents will be bringing their boat to stay on our section so they can work on the motor to sell it.. Its out of town at the mo and that makes it hard unless you carry a massive tool kit incase you need soemthing different lol

MrP I think is wise, he is still in bed. Warm as toast and listening to the wind.

Have a fab day everyone, and be careful on the roads

Good Morning everyone. Alot of wind last night and the temp dropped as well.
I stayed warm with fires going last night and shut a couple doors and put the heat on to warm up the office and bedroom area.

Had a phone call Wed night to see if I could help out with a sewing course at local Comm.Centre. Local Polytec hold a number classes during the year Like Sewing,Cooking, First Aide,Computering, cooking etc etc...Seven on sewing course. Had four came in that needed help with some paperwork.
I will see how it goes, not sure if I want to be part of the team or not. Have a meeting this comeing week.
Went out to a knitting group this week. Have not been much this year.Knited a scarf in Royla Blue Cotton. Had a lovely call this morning saying thankyou, thankyou for the Birthday Present. Was going to open the card that I send last month. Yes I was a month out. She put it away to open it today. My brother pasted way17 months ago and he left letters and cards for all three of his children to open on their birthdays for next 4 years.
The sun was out first thing this morning now overcast. Bring some wood inside for a fire later today. Off shortly for coffee with a friend and will stop for fresh veggies and fruit while we are out.
Enjoy your day ladies.

Morning everyone

Cant beleove the clam we have after yesterday.. still a bit chilly.

Bloody annoying re the mail boxes Kiwimade, theyre not cheap to buy and having MrK make one would be heart breaking if another truck wiped them out again.

I got quite a bit done yesterday, but ran out of gas at lunchtime. This last 2 months has taken it out of me thats for sure. Still ill keep plodding along... I hope to get the garage done inbetween clinic appointments.

Anothwer Diamond painting kit arrived yesterday... I wish I wasnt soo tough on myself and started one, but I know what will happen if I do lol...

Do any of you ladies do them?

Have a fab day everyone

Edit to Add... Kiwimade a friend in ChCh has a foxy jack Russel mix I think he is and he had a play date with his "cousin" her sisters dog, at their grand dads... two soft toys torn apart in pure happiness... "grandad" was cooking tea so didnt notice the fun they had. Thankfully the toys werent sentimental, they are brought secondhand for the "Toy Box" that grandad keeps lol... The look on the faces in the photo are soo precious lol

Morning everyone
I had a productive weekend and pleased with I acheived, especially getting the nets done for the kitchen. It filters the sharpness of the sun but leaves plenty of light too.
Amongst 3 medical appointments in the next week I want to get the garage done and at least measureup for curtains out there. Been busy thinking about a big window the laundry door and window but "forgot" abut the big window on the back which is behind sheleves etc at the mo. Not sure I will have enough curtain fabric on the roll I have, so I might net the smallest one. They dont have to be full gathers etc so I hope to stretch it far enough.

Better rattle me daggs and get a bit done on here before I go out..

Have a fab day everyone

Morning everyone,
Awoke late but to fog.. I love fog... yeah I know.. Im odd lol
It just kinda feels peaceful

Saw my gp yesterday, she explained my results in english lol and said shesaid it means they hadnt found any nastys at that stage.. Yay so we will see what they say tomorrow.

I spent 2 hours in the garage yesterday, got alot done, cos Im not actually unpacking any of the larger tools.. Hopefully get in there again this afternoon. and it should be all but done..
So 4 weeks to pack up and 5 weeks to unpack.. pretty good on my own I reckon lol

We are looking at cars, my old girl is starting to cost too much, so we are planning on getting into the 21st century at least.. looking at about 2005-6 onwards. Will look tomorrow and buy on Monday hopefully. Yay. mrP like Swifts, I like them too but such small motors.. Also going to look at Nissan tiidas, although our mechanic said of the three we are looking at the Tiida is the weakest in his opinion.. and the Nissan Wingroad which we had never heard of, but similar to the swift to look at in the front, its a stationwagon with bigger motor... Im pushing for the last option.. So long as MrP can get in and out ok, and its not black , the choice will be up to me since I drive.

So another reason to get the garage done too.

Enough of my rambling... Have a fab day everyone

afternoon ladies :) MrK and our neighbor are putting the letter boxes up :D We ended up buying one from Bunnings, $108 including the stick on numbers. We've been talking about replacing the letter box for a while now so it's done and dusted. And in Crusaders colours too lol.

Omg popeye, those two jack Russell crosses would have had a ball. We have a basket full of soft toys which have been torn to shreds. Our boy finds the 'squeak' and pulls it out. Then wonders why the toy doesn't squeak any more lol. They are a lot of fun. The Fluffy One is home now and she was more than ready to go. Three weeks away from 'mum' is a long time.

Better go 'supervise' the letter boxes lol, then some crafting later on.

Happy knitting :)
