My sister's house has sold and I think I may have gained a couple of pieces of her furniture, is fine as I adore her china cabinet. And the Fluffy One will be moving in with us for three months next month while her new house is being built.

Yesterday was madness but I did get everything on my list done. Was home in time to keep an appointment with an insulation guy. We've had a quote and are having the underfloor and ceiling done in June. So that will be another thing ticked off the to-do-to-the-house list. This house is so toasty as it is well situated for the sun but might as well trap that warmth for a bit longer. Can't believe it has no insulation.

Back outside for me today, weeds to spray and another hydrangea to prune back. The one I moved a week ago seems to have survived. And I have some iris' that need to go so if anyone wants them, they are welcome to them.

Crafting this afternoon I think, I finished the embroidery I was working on and am disappointed with it, just need more practice with it so will persevere. Think I will start using my stash for charity knitting, quick knits for the evening and stitch maybe late afternoons.

Morning everyone

We both slept very well last night and not drug induced either lol.. So Im a little creaky but I simply dont care today lol.

The head is busy where things will go.. MrP has to decide which bedroom he wants,, then I can figure which one I want as my craft roomm secretly hoping he has on of the smaller ones cos the big sunny one would make a lovely guest room or better still a huge craft room.. But Im letting him chose what he wants first.. Im having the bedroom with the Ensuite and walk in wardrobe.. lol

And Ive booked Izzys mum to show me how to use a dishwasher... just shy of 54 and Ive never used one lol..

All in all its the best Birthday I have had really. Last years was in hospital and this year we get a new house lol..

Today I will do the cupboard in the bathroom and all my baking tins etc in the hot water cupboard... Ohh the hot water cupboard in the new house is Huge.. its double doored and has plenty of shelving in there.. I keep MrPs winter knitted jackets in the hot water cupboard so its warm when he puts it on, so there will be plenty of room for those, the linen and the baking stuff..

And the kitchen has some huge wide drawers in it too, right under the hobb so I think Ill put the most used pots and everyday china in them.. I actually think Ill have soo much room in the kitchen that there will be empty spaces..

It feels good that I can finally think of where things are going, cos I really was trying not to get my hopes up..

Ohh yesterday Izzys Mum gave us a family school photo... Have never felt as loved as we do now.. And its doing MrP good to be able to have grandies too.

I better check a few things on here then get back to the packing. I have four boxes so hope to fill them all today

Morning ladies, yes it is getting cooler. I put the heat pump on for an hour yesterday morning and again last night but only for a short while. Just enough to make it comfortable. Won't be long till I'll be lighting the fire.

Had a market on Saturday and again on Monday, not outstanding sales, but I did sell a few things. One more on 27th and then two in May and that's it for the season - phew! I won't miss them, at least not for a while.

Family went away on Monday and will be gone most of the school holidays (at least I hope they will). They seem to be getting a bit more serious about house hunting so I'm hoping they will find one soon and be on their way.

Great news popeye that you've managed to find a place. Well done. I would hate to be looking at rentals, they are so expensive up here, well everywhere I think.

Right, I've just made a sale on here (wool) and it's already been paid for so I will package it up and send it when I go into town - knit and natter, and then I'm going to the supermarket.

Had a busy morning, getting more boxes and fuel to go shopping. Then had a quick visit from Izzys mum...
Did the shopping,,, ohh I hadnt even thought about it being the day before a long weekend, so the shops were busy. The warehouse more so than Pak n save.
Home and the groceries are in but thats it soo far...

Im taking the rest of the day off lol... And back to work tomorrow..

Its a beautiful day, and quite warm if your not in the breeze.

Kiwimade I plan on making some hot cross buns at the new house..

morning ladies :) Seeing as I can't get into the garden to finish the autum cleanup for a few days, I've been tackling the inside. Today I pull the beds out and vacuum under them properly and finish the windows. I already have a pile of things to go to the op-shop and no doubt there will be more when I tackle the wardrobes. Since we moved here, I've been ruthless with clutter and it's a constant 'battle' with MrK who likes to hoard.

I'll potter on with the dragonfly later, if I can get this idea to work, it could become part of a 'series' with my butterfly and honeybee.

Morning everyone.

Tis a chilly morning but the sun is up.

I was very weary last night so didnt bother to try and do a bootie...

Odd things today, I have a pile ofdishes to do, been a bit slack, lol Pack up little things like the coffee maker, the odd few things and dvd, vcr and freeview in MrPs room. The last couple of things in the bathroom and I am going to gather up things we wont be taking and put them out the front.. Take a photo and put it on FB and it will all go fast enough.

Need to cook a decent tea tonight. Have been very slack lately.

Gosh the shops were busy yesterday. but there wasnt long waits when I was there, they were flowing quite well, but we got home about 2pm so missed the crazy.. OMG the shops are shut for One day Rush lol

Our landlord came in last night.. Im am worried about her.. Shes had alot of stress and she is very skinny, doesnt look well at all...But she did say her Son and wife have "done" their Aussie living and are coming home at Christmas so she has that to look forward to.

morning ladies :) I fixed the wings of the dragonfly to my embroidery but decided, yes, it looks ok, but not what I was looking for at the moment. So will file the idea away for now and come back to it after I give it more thought. My friend gave me a large piece of white fabric and a massive cone of white sewing thread. The cone is too big for my sewing machine so I compared it to some embroidery thread and think it's about #8. I had a tutu last night with a picture I printed off the internet and omg, the thread is lovely and soft and has a gorgeous gloss to it. You can't see the gloss while it's on the cone. So... I'm going to embroider a border around the white fabric to make a tablecloth. The dragonfly can be embroidered into the corners without the stumpwork as the 3D wings wouldn't be practical in this case.

I must get back into knitting too, will dig out some wool from my stash and start the knitting for the maternity homes.

Another chilly start but its worth it for the lovely day.

I started another bootie yesterday but only got half way lol...

Todays mission is to go up to the supermarket and then to the house, I want to see where power points are.. But we dont have the key so it will ne nosying thorugh the windows.

Then Izzys mum will come down and we are going to attack the Garage... and move boxes down from the dining room etc..
I have to leave the car out from now on, which I dont feel comfortable in doing, but I need room to move around. And Ill start putting the free stuff out.

So I best get things done on here and brave the supermarket..

Afternoon ladies, I had to nip into town as I discovered I was out of cooking oil and tissues. My God, but it's manic in there. Not a parking spot to be had anywhere on the streets, the carpark is bursting at the seams, so I parked at the club and walked back into town. Couldn't get out of the place quickly enough. Hope you managed okay popeye.

So now going to have a coffee and put my feet up. I really want to finish the dinosaur I'm working on at the moment - hopefully I can finish it today, then I can start either an elephant or another lion. Also want to knit a mouse for pippi.

Was planning to mow the front lawn today but it's about to rain and I have a sore back and shoulder so I'll leave it for a few more days. Nobody here at the moment to remind me that it needs doing (lol) so I'll do it when I'm good and ready.

afternoon ladies, it is just madness on the road. We came back from Cambridge not long ago and omg there are some bl***y idiots driving. Passing on blind corners, pulling out of intersections, no wonder the death toll is so high.

I'm knackered lol, been helping my sister sort out dad's garage and his tools. MrK and I came home with quite a few so he will be in his happy place tomorrow sorting it all out. Two massive trips to the dump and we finally can see the garage floor. Her friends are helping her with the rest of the house so we came home. It's another reminder of just how much stuff we have and makes me glad I declutter regularly.

If I don't nod off on the couch, I'm going to embroider or knit. But first a shower to wash the grime and cobwebs off.

It wasnt too bad in Nw, busy but flowing nicely..

We went and had another look in the windows,,, theres an extra room lol.. There are four bedrooms and what I can assume was a family room lounge cos it has a tv ariel jack.. Im secretley hoping MrP will take one of the smaller rooms cos it really would make an awesome craft room... And the little room we had forgotten or simply missed, would make a nice little Guest / Spare / Grandies room... Ive already designated furniture for there, other than a bed.

I started in the Garage today... I found a lead with nothing on it and some jumper leads which only have one end on it.. I asked MrP why was he keeping it, he said cos...... And I said and can you use a screwdriver now.. He said chuck them out.. he didnt get angry or upset. but once we are doen there Im going to sort all his tools out and show him what he has and what he doesnt need.

Soo dusty and Dirty too...Kiwimade..

Back in there tomorrow.... And Ill hopefully get the cave done though the week.. The car is outside now.. ( I dont know how Im going to sleep for worry) but it has to be done so I have room too move..

Made a steamed pudding for Izzys family today,, was told I was a Legend lol...

Morning ladies and Happy Easter to you all :) This morning's plan is to pick up my sister's pot plants. Her furniture is going into storage and she won't have access to them so they will be with us for the three months while her house is being built. But first MrK has to feed our friend's dogs as they are away and he will have the car - might as well make a start on the lawn before the rain hits this afternoon while I wait for him to get home.

I had a tutu with some embroidery stitches on my 'practice' cloth and am happy with my plans for the piece of white fabric. Dad had some teeny tiny pliers and wire cutters I can use for stumpwork so MrK can have his pliers and cutters back. Will be nice to have dad's tools in my embroidery kit too. They need a bit of a cleanup but MrK said he will do that. I had better start knitting for the maternity home... winter will be over before I even start at this rate!

MrP said this morning he was glad we were moving, hes sick of this place... I was over it about 5 years ago really lol..

Good Morning Everyone. Happy Easter to you all. Late start this morning. Just had to finish my book." Sunrise on Cedar Key" By Terri Dulon. I know some of you would like it. About a group runing a Wool Business. Easy to read.

Now that I finished the book time to put more time in gardens. Rake up the leaves before they kill the lawn.Have to workout what I need to plant in the veggie and flower gardens.Me thinking I just may down size the gardens.
My blanket I am knitting been pushed a side. It will see day light later today.
I'm calling in most day to check on a friend so just may take some knitting with me later today.

Popeye,no long to go and you will be in your house. What are you going to do with all your space? When is the moving date?Don't over do it. Let your friends help move things for you.

Ive just about cleared the huge pantry int he garage... Im going to sell off some of the jam, I can easily make more in the new place. And cos Ill be selling some and I wont get the jars back I am keeping the empty jars I have.

I will downsize at the other end, which sounds stupid really but since I dont have to do the lifting I might as well make sure the guys earn their $1k. Glad we arent moving to another town Id hate to know how much that would cost.

'I cleared the area between the pantry and the Garage door amd have been stacking the boxes in there. Izzys mum is coming around later and we will use the trolley thing to move the boxes down from the dining room.

Ive put some stuff at the mailbox for free... if it goes all good. If it doesnt it can go to the recycle centre.

The egg hunt went well.. even thier kittens got in on the act lol.. Izzy will come down with her mum I think... so she can have her bunny and egg and cup for her..

Right I better put a couple of things on here and post my post on FB about the stuff too..

I'm officially knackered lol. I've picked up my sister's pot plants and they safely arrived here wrapped in old blankets. I've helped MrK sort through his goodies from yesterday and loaded the car again with stuff for MrK's sisters who we will see tomorrow. Some want bits from the garden and I have a garden pot to return along with some potting mix. I've put all 'my' tools in dad's tool box and found a home for it.

Sunflowers, I hate to admit it but I'm running out of garden space! MrK wants to plant a peacherine (yummmmmm!!!!) tree so it will have to go in 'my' garden. So am thinking of extending the garden out a bit to make room for it. MrK doesn't know this yet lol.

Windows to finish then the big cleanup inside is done. We've finished helping my sister with her moving (she has friends helping her now) so into the garden next week.

Time for a cold cider I think and some knitting or sewing :)

Have a drop for me too Kiwimade.. I too am knackered tonight.

But I got my big pantry nearly empty.. Just the bigger stuff in the bottom to do.. But I did get all the jars and the stuff on the top sorted with izzys Mums help.

Of the stuff that went out the front a little under half came back in so Im pleased of that.

So tomorrows mission is to sort out some stuff to take to winz... and I will unroll a bit of carpet we have had in the garage for ages, so I can sit on the floor and pack the stuff.. easier than bending over..

Izzys mum took most of the boxes from the diningroom down to the garage so I dont feel so closed in now.

I Have finished the second Bootie Finally.. I sewed it up and thought Yay thats the pair done but soon found that I hadnt sewn up the first one lol.. Ill do that tonight after Ive filled my pill trays.

And Finally MrP has decided to take one of the two bedrooms on the side of the house... Soo A very lucky me gets the largest room with the En-suite and the Huge Sunny room as my craft room...Im going to change some furniture around and it will mean Ill have a dressing table, with mirror in the craft room too..

morning ladies :) So glad I mowed the lawn yesterday as it bucketed down with rain overnight. The lawn is now a lovely green with very few brown patches :)

I caught the mouse! The Furry One has been telling us for a couple of days there is a mouse, I trust his nose explicitly. Heard the trap go snap a few minutes ago and yep, there it is. Just shows mice aren't fussy as that trap and bait have been down for over a year now.

I made my first sale on the FB market last night, picked up, paid for and everything. Was so quick too and no fees.

Lucky you, popeye, to get a craft room! Just shows there was a reason your house was sold as there was something better out there for you both.

Lunch with MrK's family today, might tuck some knitting into my bag as I can finally get to sit for a bit today as we all catch up.

Morning everyone
Was just thinking this morning we havent seen any mice yet this year... Yep terriers of all kinds love the furry little critters lol.

I am very lucky Kiwimade, Ive had the cave since mum went but this is a big room.. It will be the last one sorted, but I dont mind that. Theres windows on 3 sides and not alot of solid wall.. But I no so far any crates I have can be tucked in behind the door so the rest can look nice for sure.. I cant wait lol...
But first the joy of setting up my new kitchen.. I found some jars I got at the gala across the road, MrP asked me at the time why I wanted them, I said cos they are red and Ill need them at some time. So they will be the coffee tea milo etc.
I didnt get the bootie sewn up lol..
I have washing on,, and yes I should have done it yesterday, Ill be putting a steamed pudding on for us, and sorting the papers for winz. and hopefully a few more boxes,, if I keep plodding away on it, I might get a couple of days off before we move. "Might" lol

Morning ladies, what a lazy weekend I've had, although I did do some gardening yesterday and the day before. Haven't mowed the front lawn yet as I've had a sore back and shoulder (well that's as good an excuse as any). Family arrived home yesterday around 4.30 having said when they went that they wouldn't be back till next weekend, and then sending a text to say they would be home about 6. Oh well.

Had a letter from the council the other day saying they are reading the water meters in the area and my consumption is much higher than usual and maybe I have a leak - we are going to check later but I suspect it's just all the extra showers and washing since the family have been here. The letter says my meter is outside No. 1, I've always thought it was outside No. 7, and officially I am No. 5, so we are going to investigate together a bit later.

Beautiful sunny day here and quite mild. We had torrential rain during the night, woke me and I couldn't get back to sleep for a couple of hours so was very late getting up.

I've all but finished my dinosaur, just have to sew the spikes on which I've already made, but I've already started on another lion. Want to get them both finished before Saturday and maybe another pair of fingerless gloves too. They don't take long.

But if I don't get cracking, nothing will get done.

morning ladies :) It was a wet trip to Rotorua yesterday with the odd nutter on the road, an idiot overtaking with oncoming traffic. How he squeaked back into our lane defies belief. Then the idiot decided he was going to turn right and pulled out in front of oncoming traffic. A temporary kiwi I think.

I managed to do a bit of knitting, started on a baby's beanie but mostly it was catching up with mrK's family.

Only the inside windows to do now and the big clean is done. Then I can concentrate on the garden, I only need a couple of days to finish that too. Today though, MrK and I have decided to have a cruisey day. We are both pretty knackered. I'll return the trailer we borrowed for helping my sister and I need to buy a new printer. Then I'll overlock the edge of the white fabric and start my embroidery. I found a roll of tracing paper at Spotlight the other day, I've been looking for tracing paper for ages. Now I can trace my patterns with a heat pencil and iron it directly onto the fabric. No more taping fabric and paper to the windows lol.

Better get moving or the day will be gone.

Morning everyone
Nutter drivers are soo annoying,, they dont care about the public or anyone that may be travelling with them thats for sure.

Im off to winz today to sort out the bond etc, now that they have the info from the property manager.

Im very pleased with the amount of work I got done on the weekend, but like you Kiwimade I am also feeling rather worn out. so Ill just potter with little bits.
I had a nasty bruise on the sole of my foot.. Its the stones from the road re-sealing I think.. But its rather tender.. And I can hear Thistle4 and Grandmasue from here telling me to wear shoes or slippers.. oops

Meant to say the Easter egg hunt with the bottle tops went well.. The older sister was away so the kids were trying to cash in and finding hers too lol

I finally sewed up the second bootie lol... Might start another pair tonight, they dont take long so are perfect for the tired head, to keep plodding with .

morning ladies :) I had the most frustrating morning yesterday. After three hours of trying to connect the new printer, I gave up and took it back. I've had the same printer before and never had this issue. I must admit, the air was pretty blue lol. Bought another one and it works perfectly so maybe I had a dud.

I have the embroidery pattern all drawn onto the tracing paper and the fabric all hemmed. The pattern is pinned down the first side ready for me to iron on and start stitching. For some reason I mucked up the wee beanie I'm knitting, how I did that I have no idea, tired I think. So I have some unpicking to do there. I would usually have a beanie knitted in an evening but not lately.

Today I think I'll try and get the last of the pruning done, it looks like it's going to be a nice day to be outside.

Morning everyone
Ohh how frustrating Kiwimade... Ive had that happen with a mobile phone and a laptop.. You try everything, get angry but nothing works.. Glad you got another one.

My foot ended up so sore that I sat most of the afternoon.. Its not as tender as yesterday but Im going to, as my grandmother would say "Use my head to Save my feet" today.
Once Im finished here Ill get done what I planned yesterday.

The temperature certainly dropped while we were watching tv last night.. I was nodding off by 9pm, so finished what we were watching and I was in bed and asleep by 9-30 and slept to 7-45am.. Thats rare for me.

Will meet the property manager next week and grab the keys etc.. I hope to get the outdoor stuff down there before we move in properly. Id rather bin the lot of it but MrP wants it. It can go down the back where it wont be seen.

A lovely day for the parades that went ahead.

I have been busy in the garage and have it to the point of last minute things.. Phew Soo pleased.

The cave starts tomorrow and that will take a good few days.. And then just the food stuff etc..
Im quite pleased of what I have managed to do in such a short time. It will take a while to unpack tho.. But the cave once again will be last. I just plan to get the bedrooms sorted and the kitchen.. then have a week off... I am getting stronger tho and last longer so thats a good bonus.

The craft of course still isnt happening but theres plenty of time for that.

Im off to Pukekohe for the sopping in a bit.. Im kidnapping Izzys mum while her partner is home lol..

morning ladies :) Housework today and I'm hoping my birthday pressie I bought on TM arrives today. It's a cute Lladro piece of a frog on a lily pad.

I started the embroidery yesterday, had a bit of a false start as the fabric wouldn't take the heat pencil so I ended up tracing the pattern (which I was hoping to avoid). Another beanie is on the needles, might do booties when this on is finished, just to mix things up a bit.

Morning everyone

We had a lovely time shopping yesterday, even tho they were all super busy.Was nice fo Izzys mum to be out without kids and me without MrP.

Have to go do my blood this morning, then Im cming home to start on the cave.. Oce I take the crates out it will be fairly easy to do. cos alot of stuff is in crates or boxes anyway.

Looks like it will rain today, our lawnmowers are out and about already, so they should be here before the rain.. fingers crossed lol.

I did a bootie last night.. Im using a wool crepe, I will soak them in some conditioner to try and soften them a wee bit.

One of my school friends birthday today. Shes the eldest of us all, By 9 days over me lol... Shes at work, which is a very rare occassion, but she left it too late to book it off,, I think complicated with others want time off for the school holidays.. Will see her later tho.

Well we didnt get the rain, I thought it may have overnight cos it was quite warm.

Had a good day yesterday, we gave the wheelchair away. mrP didnt like the squeaks... but its gone to a family that really needs it. And I listed some jam on FB. And thats all being picked up today.. and it will pay for Rolys new bigger cage.

Once I got the crates out of the cave it made a difference.. and I did a few banana boxes too. MrP probably wouldnt know the difference yet.
So inbetween Jam pick ups Ill do some more... Its the best part lol.

Did another bootie last night, Ill keep going on the ball of wool im using. and its a nice little pick up at the end of the day.

Morning Everyone, Spend alot of time out in the gardens yesterday. Leaves every where form Silk Tree and Fruit Trees. Friend called in yesterday to see if 1,I Was I ok. 2. Lets have a coffee. Had gone out of her way to get the coffees.

What on my knitting needles a scarf. Have no ideal how I got the wool. Just like the cool colours, Keep going to sleep with the knitting in my lap.
Have a few more hours days more like days to get my gardens cleaned up and some blubsto put back in.

Time to move and clean up my tools etc. As I am off out to lunch today.

morning ladies :) There's a cold southerly wind here today and it looks like the rain will be off and on too.

In spite of the rain, I burned the cabbage tree leaves and some other rubbish so that ash can go onto the compost today. They don't rot down and take up space in the wheelie bin.

We have to go into town today, MrK needs bolts and stuff for the Little Library he is building and he's also had a order for two trays and two jewellery boxes. So he's going to be busy. I'll sort out some insurance while he is doing that with our insurance company.

My birthday pressie arrived, MrK bought me a cute piece of Lladro of a frog on a lily pad. Ok, so I spotted it here on TM and did it on his behalf lol. For all of my decluttering over the years, I have spaces to fill in a china cabinet I gained from my sister moving lol.

I can see improvements with my stitching as I progress and I am working out quicker ways to stitch the pattern. Am quite pleased with it so far. Today I'll trace another bit of the pattern, am doing it in bits so it's not so overwhelming and there is no fading. Another beanie on my needles, booties next.

Morning everyone
Grey and blustery here too and the temp has dropped from a warm night.

I am ploughing through the cave, Izzys mum got the stuff down from the top of the pantries for me, so only a little packing for that, then its just the wardrobe. Then Ill get the clothing boxes my friend has that you hange clothes on the coat hanger on a rail in the box... Then its just the last miute stuff, and stuff we cant get out till the beds are moved..

I didnt knit last night, I was nodding off in the chair lol.. but it was a crappy night, warm cold .

I sold alot of jam on the weekend. which helped save a little heavy packing.. One pick up this morning and one at some stage of a lady who has family in town to get it for her.

I have a parcel to post from here but I may leave it till later in the day.

I havent thought much about my birthday, other than not having it in hospital, but I had to order a new watch. the last one lasted 17 days.. and they refunded me my money. So that and a new house are my presents lol.

Gray and overcast here today, so not sure if I make it to the Knitting Group this morning. Not been all month. A couple of ladies called to see me.
Dealing with the banks about my mortage, be glad when it's over.
Also busy cleaning up the gardens and catching up on things around the house,
I have been knitting, two scarves and have started a blanket to use up my half balls of wool and wool that I have sitting around.
Did some sewing on my old Singer. My Bernina is way for a check up.Fingers crossed I will get it back this week.

I'm sure you will found a room for your Lladro of a frog on a lily pad.Kiwimade. There is some lovely pieces around

Time to move on and if the rain stays away just maybe I'n get to the Knitting Groip this morning..

Morning everyone
A chilly start but clear as a bell compaired to yesterdays driven rain.

I am feeling alot better than yesterday.. The only thing I did yesterday was post a parcel... no other work I was wiped out. I think it was a combo of doing alot and a warfarin flat battery day.
I have another parcel to post today and then Ill get into the wardobe in the cave..
Need to make some calls too about the power, medical alarm , phone etc. tried to get hold of the property manager yesterday but didnt get any replies.

Morning ladies, I had quite a good day at the market on Saturday, sold a few things. One lady spied my golliwog and asked what its name was. I said it hasn't got a name. I said you give him a name. She said "okay, his name is Dillon and I'm taking him home" so she went to the atm and got some money and took him home.

I was cold at the market all day and kept sneezing and I had a sore throat. Throat is okay now but I've obviously picked up some cold bugs from someone, runny nose, cough and keep sneezing, so no mah jong for me today. I phoned my friend who used to run it with me but hasn't been going much since Christmas and she is going today so she will collect the money for me, so that's good. Supposed to be going to Russell tomorrow for the monthly "Bunny Club Lunch" but I suspect I won't go to that either. Working at the op shop Thursday afternoon for a friend so I'll have to hide out the back if I'm still coughing and sneezing.

It's a beautiful sunny day today but a cool wind. I have to nip into town to get some yarn to finish the octopus that I'm making - I hope they still have some of the same colour - and to check the mail, buy bread and then I'm home again. Not staying out any longer than I have to.

Will sit and crochet this afternoon with my feet up.

Morning ladies :) We have a frost this morning, even the Furry One won't go outside to pee lol. Mind you, can't blame him for that! Once the frost has cleared I'll mow the lawn. And it looks like it's going to be a beautiful day. With all this rain, comes weeds and I have been slack in that department as I've been busy pruning. Won't be long now and the waxeyes will be back for their winter feeding, I have some fat all ready to put out for them.

Embroidery and knitting later this afternoon/evening.

Morning everyone

Yep its only 8.1 outside at the mo. No frost but quite cool.. I pulled my big double layered knitted blanket up last night.

Yes my stalker is back, but this time she has shot herself in her own foot. And I hope she loses her job over it. Ya dont mess with me or Mine sand get away with it.

We get the keys on friday.. Yayay, so Im going to move the deleicates down.. China, pictures mirrors etc Then I wont have to worry about them.. And I they get broken it will be my ownn fault.

Making phone calls today , so that will take a while.

How is your sinus at the mo Kiwimade? mine are niggly even tho Im taking antihystamines and the nasal spray. A friend in Tauranga has a nasty sinus infection at the mo,. the kind that goes to your gums and makes you feel like your teeth are going to fall out..

Right will get a few things done on here and then put my secretary hat on..

My sinus' are a bit dodgy at the moment popeye, but don't need sprays or anything. Last spring was the best spring I have had for years so fingers crossed things stay this way.

morning ladies :) The fog is clearing away and the sun is out so another gorgeous day on it's way. MrK is busy building the Little Library for the Lions Club, we had to go to Tirau yesterday to make sure what he had built was going to fit on the posts (even though I knew his measurements would be spot on lol). So we had a look around a new shop there... omg... sigh... all the kind of stuff I love.

Almost there with the weeding, I have piles of weeds through the garden and will pick it all up when the bins are emptied. My sister has a couple of azaleas for me so I've prepared the ground for them.

Still on the first side of this tablecloth but am happy with the embroidery so far. Same beanie on my needles, I just can't get motivated to finish it.

Morning everyone

Chilly but not as bad as the last few mornings.

While I was shopping yesterday the super clinic rang,.. and I just knew it was going to be a close appointment.. So Monday.. yes 2 days before we move I go up for my D&C.. they can do it under a local now so thats cool...I asked about the recovery time post opp and they said I should be normall after a couple of days but to be careful when lifting... I have never been soo pleased to have hired Movers. lol.. So Ill be the one organising the friends etc... I knew it was going to happen lol.. my timing has never been great lol.. But once its done hopefully that is it.. No more stupid hormonal stuff lol.

I got up early this morning to get a head start on some more packing... We go get the keys at lunchtime Yayayay.. so I plan to be very busy for the weekend.. Ill take down the pictures and mirrors etc.

Good Morning Everyone. It's suuny here and light blue.sky Everything at 7 this morning. was white.

Did very little yesterday. Had a bad fall onTuesday. I didnot break the fall. Have to go today to have the dressing charged and see what my nose looks like.Also one finger on my left hand is not looking to good.
Bugger, Bugger......
This put me behind of what I was going to do yesterday.Sorted out some wool for a blanket and use up left over wool from other projects.
Time to move and hang out the washing that didn't get to the line yesterday.
You must be on cloud 9 today as you pickup the keys for your new home. Popeye. Just take it easy and take time out as well.

Morning everyone, We have an impressive fog that has been down since 10-30 last night
Yesterday was an awesome day, the Property manager is lovely. We were yakking for 2 hours lol.. But yes we have the keys.

There is a remote for the garage Yay cos I couldnt imagine trying to push the double door up myself lol.. Very noisy too lol.. I said no one could sneak out at night time without the world knowing lol.

I put the mouse bait down and checked for the important stuff... Power points, fibre box and tv aireals.. There are 4 tv ariel sites which is awesome. The fibre box is in the kitchen. Yay. and I nearly have a layout in my head for the craft room.

Will be popping down twice today to show Izzy and her Mum,this morning, Izzy is soo excited cos its not that far away from them.. And then my old school friend this afternoon cos she works saturday mornings.

Have got antibiotics for Monday...

So today is housework between the trips.. I may have boxes and stuff everywhere but I cant stand the mess lol..

I hope your bumps and bruises are mending Sunflowers.. ohh no re the finger I hope it wont limit your craft moves.
