Evening everyone i havent been on here in a few days mum hasnt been well but is feeling much better today. she has chronic heart failure and chronic renal failure she will be 86 in a few weeks so my sister and i and our hubbies are taking mum to Oamaru for a night then we are going to visit Moeraki which is where we spent lots of our childhood days on holiday. mum has chosen to have her ashes scattered there into the sea along with dads ashes, my dad died 31 years ago at age 51. so we thought we would take mum there for a look around and we probably will have a walk along the beach. My daughter that lives south on a farm put in an order for woolly hats and jumpers for the boys so ive started a hat for Hudson and then il make one for Marley. I have loads of wool so wont need to buy any. well i guess il go make us all a cuppa and then sit down too knit.
Take care everyone

morning ladies :) Yep, I'm still sick. Time to get out the Imodium as this is driving me bonkers.

We had an invitation to go up the Coromandel Peninsula in April and our son has said he will dog sit for us so we are going to go. It's been years since I've been there so looking forward to it.

I finished the hardanger last evening just as the light faded. So pleased with it. I'll wash and iron it today and take a pic. I'll finish the hoodie I started to knit while the grandies were here and knit the jumper for our grandson.

Today I'll attempt to put the rest of the prunings from a shrub MrK pruned last week into the wheelie bins. Had to wait for the binman to empty the bins first. Then I'll potter about, finish remaking the beds and so on. My ribs are still sore from being sick so another cruisey day.

10ofus, it sounds like you have a lovely time planned with your mum :)

Happy knitting :)

I finished the Mo's for the santas yesterday and started a hat. But I didint do alot.
Today Im making pies.. I cooked up some mince yesterday and will do those and some ham and egg ones. Meant to be trying to free up space in the freezers , so Im heading in the wrong direction lol.

Have a fab day everyone

I dont have much energy myself today and cant be bothered sorting tea. I think it might just be an easy tea tonight. Im sure we wont starve hubby will be home from work at 5.30 and he will probably help me cook something hes very good like that. I might just have a cuppa first to revive me.
well have a great evening everyone and happy crafting

morning ladies :) I feel a lot better today thank goodness, I'm hoping I can play catch up with those jobs around the house today.

One thing about being sick, I got to sit and knit yesterday. Have finished both fronts of the hoodie as well as the bands. I like to knit the bands as I finish each front, especially if the band isn't going all the way around the back of the neck.

The southerly wind is here still and it's cold so I'll put some warmer clothes on and get outside.

Happy knitting :)

Morning everyone
Its lovely and cooler outside, only 18 degrees but also only 22 inside.. Loving it.
Usual shopping and blood today.
To be honest Id rather stay home, I dont feel unwell just no inclination to go out lol.

Into the first Santa Hat, they are the second largest bit so three of them will take a few days, depending on how often I get to knit.

I made 6 mince and 9 ham and egg pies yesterday. Have bagged them but will put them in the freezer later. So much for trying to make room in the freezers lol.. The ham and pastry took far less room thats for sure lol..

Have a fab day everyone

Morning everyone,
Lovely and cooler today, no wind tho so it may warm up later.

The road workers are here today to med the road where the pillock did all the wheeliess.. so I hope they get the tar baby out fast, I Love the smell of tar lol... one thing I dont mind having in common with my mother lol.

Didnt get any knitting done yesterday..

Oops visitors

Have a good day

morning ladies :) The southerly wind is still around but it's going to be a beautiful day. Windows to clean today, blimmen flies!

I have the sleeves to knit and the hoodie is done. It's stocking stitch with a touch of embroidered flowers on the front so quick and easy.

Our son called in yesterday (he's been staying away not wanting our bugs) and is going to dog sit for us when we go away for a few days next month some time. I bought out the 'big guns' and offered mac and cheese (his favourite) when I asked him lol. He countered with, 'and choc chip bickkies, mum' lol. We couldn't put the Furry One in kennels, he's never been chained up or kenneled in his life.

Better move and make a start on the windows. The sooner I start, the sooner they are done.

Happy knitting :)

Morning everyone

Was just saying to MrP yesterday, Kiwimade, we havent had anywhere near the same amount of flies this year. Just a couple at a time really. Not sure why that would be.

Lol at using the big guns, blokes especially can be "conned" quite easily that way lol..

I have to duck up the road this morning to get my pills etc that I didnt bother to get the other day since we were late.

Id rather stay home tho, they have the Tar truck out, so they are doing the main road to the beach first, then they will do ours. And I LOVE the smell of tar. best way to clear the nose and sinuses thats for sure lol. They havent done anything on our road yet so I can make sure Im home for that lol.

I didnt knit yesterday. I was fighting a flat battery day and knew Id only make mistakes.

Have a fab day everyone

Morning everyone

What a day yesterday.

The road is lovely, but I was annoyed when an idiot wheelied along the new seal. Doesnt look like he damaged it.

Then the fire siren went about 2-20 am , then I heard a bang, then I realised my windows had a golden glow.

The house across the road was fully ablaze. The family are safe, the man of the house managed to keep the car on the front lawn safe. But the house is totally gutted.
I feel sorry for the owners.. The stupid tenants had one of those fire pit bowl things on the timber deck. It was still flaming at 11pm.

You have to worry about the mentailty of these people. They are related to the pillock that did the burnouts on the road.
we are still in the end of a tinder dry summer, I assume the fire ban is still on.

So today I may have to have a nana nap cos i missed 3 hours of my heaviest sleep tiime lol..

Have a fab day everyone

Good Morning all, Cold wind and rain yesterday. Put a fork into a flower bed and it's still dry. Thanks Mr wind. Sun out and the sky blue today.
Working on the front gardens at present. Lots dead heading going on at present.
Unpick 8 rows of knitting last night.
Not good watching houses going up . Just hope they can get a place to live. Had a house fire yesterday as well.Black smoke poured into to air.
Sunny and warm day so I have been busyin the garden.

Fingers crossed, our lawns get cut this week.
Popeye, hope you have a nap later in the day.

Kiwimade hope you feeling better today. A few days away sounds good to me.
Enjoy your day everyone.

Apparently they are all still at the hospital...

Heaps of donations being offered.. But finding a house may not be too easy.

Apparently the fire on the deck was some form of cooking fire thing, from South Africa..
Still shouldnt have had it on when they were drinking and we are still in a fire ban.
Landlord is not a happy young man.

morning ladies :) Well popeye, I guess landlords frown upon tenants who burn their houses down so it will be harder than usual for them to find a home. I do feel sorry for them loosing everything though. A tough lesson to learn.

Sunflowers, you had a fire? What happened?

Once again, I had a rummage through the button jar only find I don't have the right buttons for this hoodie. I pretty sure I saw some buttons in the haberdashery shop with lady bugs on them. Will have to go into town and have a look as they would be perfect with the flowers I've embroidered.

I'll start the next wee jumper for our grandson later, I have a free pattern I found online I had printed off ages ago to knit. Now to find some wool to go with it.

Happy knitting :)

Good Morning everyone. Been a weekend of house fires. The one I was watching was on the other side of the green belt between us. The air was Black, Shut all the window and stayed inside. The first one was three streets over with the smoke pouring out and going out to sea.All the windows are open today and it's sunny.

I did very little knitting over the weekend. Busy moving things around in my craft room which is off the sitting room so that I can use it more.

Kiwimade will see if I can found the site I got my buttons off. Was alot cheaper than what you pay for here in NZ.

Hope you can stay in your place and you have a good landlord Popeye. Very hard to get a places down here. Rent is sky high.Alot are moving in either from Auckland or Wellington and pushing up rents or house price up. They now fly out for a couple of nights do 3 days and come back and work from home office.

Time to move and sort out my kitchen or do some.more gardening. Gardening is going win.Sort the kitchen out in the evenings.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning everyone,
Not a good time with the fires thats for sure.. Its just so dry out there.

The boys and father are home, I havent seen the mother, but she may have been inside.

Heaps of donations coming in for them. Town is good like that.

Our road was like Queen Street in Auckland yesterday. Soo many people looking. It looks so desolate over there.

Got news yesterday that MrP's ex wife had died, from Cancer... He was quite surprised with himself that it had upset him, but I said thats cos once upon a time you Loved her. Its natural. So we spent some time this monring talking about her and the kids..
His two eldest grandkids lost their dad last year too so it will be even harder for them. .

Visitors so Id better dask.

Morning everyone

Got woken up by the road sweepers lol.. But they have finished now so thats good.
It has been a loud street since saturday morning.. I feel like running away from it all lol.
The house is now behind a big fence to keep people out, for safety reasons. The owners were there yesterday and the younger ones put the fence up this morning. Did it very quickly.. Ohh the young and fit lol.

Have to do a couple of things up the road this morning. Then hopefully Ill knit. Havent done any since about friday. Too much noise and happening to concetrate, lots of decreasing to do on the hat and I dont want to muck it up.

I hope everyone is well.

Morning ladies, it seems ages since I've posted on here but I try to catch up with what everyone has been doing every couple of days. It has been quite hectic here with so many markets in the last two or three weeks, and on Saturday I played in a snooker tournament at the club (it was the over 60s). I got beaten in the first frame and thought I'd be able to go home (mind you I should have won that frame, I was only beaten by 1 point) but oh no, it was a round robin and I didn't play my next frame for two hours, and I hadn't taken my knitting. Grrr. If I'd known I would have to wait so long I would have come home and got my knitting. Anyway I got through to the second round, only to be beaten again by a good player by only 1 point, and I gave him 12 points to start with because he snookered me and I couldn't get out of it and he made me play it again and again, 4 points each time.

The markets have been pretty quiet and there aren't so many now, I must admit I'm pretty much over them now and looking forward to not having to go through winter.

We had rain this morning so I can't mow the lawns as planned. I had planned to do some of them on Sunday and then thought stuff it, I'll go for a Thai massage, so that's what I did, and mowed the lawns on Monday.

Going to do some sewing this morning. Son wants a pair of curtains making so will do them for him, and then do some things for the market.

Have a super day everyone.

Afternoon everyone.

The day started with watching the house being demolished.. Something else Ive never seen before so we sat and watched.. Its amazing to see how quick it went. 2 hours 20 mins and it was down. but they are just about finished trucking the stuff away. And yes No Insurance.. he had let it lapse.
An expensive mistake for the young man.

Went and did the shopping, still have to bring some in but I needed to sit for a little while and have a late lunch first.

Kuaka it feels like your always making curtains for your son lol.. does he have alot of windows?

Our town is busy with swimming sports on, the pool is very close to the centre of town so parking is a premium thats for sure.

Right I better go get the rest of the groceries in and put away.

Have a fab day

popeye333 - 2019-03-07 13:32:00
14626

Morning ladies (just)

Popeye, I think I have made curtains for every room in my son's house, and yes, it's a fairly large 4 bedroomed place, but now he wants a pair of curtains to use because the little bedroom has no built in wardrobe and he wants to put a rail up with a curtain so his flatmate can hide his clothes behind the curtains. They won't take me long. They're not very big. I didn't get them done yesterday. I ended up spending nearly all morning on the loo!

The toaster spat the dummy yesterday. I suspect it is just out of warranty but I will return it and see what Noel Leeming have to say about it. When my son was here Christmas before last he commented on the fact that I have a toaster and said he hasn't got one. So I decided to buy him one, but when I saw the price of new ones I decided to give him my old one and have the new one myself. Course his old one is still going strong, must be 10 or 12 years old. My flash new one, gave a spectacular blue flash yesterday and now is dead. Oh dear!

Right I had better get a wriggle on, I want to do some sewing this afternoon.

Have a super day everyone.

Afternoon everyone

Warrant time today so I was up and out early.. I got them to bring me home again cos I have enough pain that I dont want to be getting in and out of a too low a car. But I did sleep well for 6 hours, just in one position lol and thats asking for trouble.. Cant win them all I guess lol.

I had to fight the wind and heavy rain before it just came down in a huge rush lol... It has cooled the air a little tho and it will keep the dust down from the empty section now...
Knitted some last night and this morning so Im pleased..

Hope everyone is well

Morning everyone

We are all seeming to be busy again now that the heat isnt so dreadful.

It is sooo quiet here today compaire to the road works last week.. Its lovely.. Not hot and we have had heaps of rain so the lawns might just get green again before it stops growing for winter.

I finished a santa hat last night and will be starting another later.

But first I need to get on the kitchen floor and sort my cupbaords out again. The dishes lady puts things in odd places so every so often I have to go through them. And as she is no longer with us its time to get it back to normal.

Have a fab day everyone

afternoon ladies :) It's been busy here too we went back to the beach 'because we can' lol. Was a lovely cool day, ate our picnic lunch in the rain and then went for a coffee.

Kuaka, try using the Consumers Guarantee Act to get your money back. An item has to be fit for purpose for a reasonable amount of time.

I've started knitting our grandson's jumper, it's a lovely brick red. Had to unpick it a bit as I mucked up the cable and when a cable is going the wrong way, it sticks out like a sore thumb.

Happy knitting :)

Morning everyone

Nice when you can get out and about Kiwimade.. I was tempted to get the car out last night. There would have been a stunning sunset out at the coast. but Id left it too late and by the time I got the car out and shut the house up it would have been gone.

I got all my cupboards back to sorted stage yesterday, I like things in the system that works for me but it had all got muddled with someone else doing the dishes..

Finished the first santa hat and started the second one.. So pleased I have mymojo back.

Today Ill trim MrPs beard,, yes I still wish he would take it off lol...

popeye333 - 2019-03-10 09:43:00
14631

Morning ladies, well on Friday I took the toaster back to Noel Leeming, and you guessed it, purchased on 15 Feb last year so 3 weeks out of warranty, but they were happy to replace it - course that model is no longer manufactured but I could have a four slice toaster for the same price or I could pay a bit extra and get the later version of the one I had. So that's what I did. Cost me an extra $32 with a small discount for using my gold card so I was quite happy with that. If they hadn't replaced it I would have bought a cheapie at the Warehouse, wasn't going to pay almost $200 for a toaster.

Then I had a good laugh when I went to the bank. All of a sudden the teller said "Oh my God, I've just seen your date of birth - I can't believe you're that old!" The next teller came to see what was happening and the teller serving me said to her "guess how old Carol is?" Second teller said she wouldn't want to guess so she looked at the screen and said "I don't believe it, you don't look that old" I had to laugh. I came out of the bank feeling quite good.

I had better get a wriggle on. I need to do some housework and gardening today. I bought some veg plants on Friday and I need to pull out the beans now they've stopped producing, fertilise the garden and plant my new seedlings. I have invited friends for tea tonight so I need to get organised and tidy up in the family room/dining/kitchen. And then get organised to cook the meal. Busy, busy.

Have a super day everyone.

Oh yes, and craft market yesterday and it wasn't too bad. Next one Sunday next week.

morning ladies :) What a hoot kuaka, gotta love living I n small towns, city tellers wouldn't say that lol.

We have the Fluffy One back, she's been here for three days and goes back Wednesday. Our boy loves having her stay but there is that competition between them.

Still knitting our grandson's jumper, it looks lovely in this red.

We want to make the most of the cooler weather. The garden is finishing up for summer and I can't do much there until the annuals have finished. So we are going fishing for a bit.

Happy knitting :)

Morning everyone
I bet it made your day Kuaka... and be proud...

Kiwimade I love working in red, its a cheerful colour I reckon.

I have a busy day. I need to get the car out and find where I put the parking card permit, I think it must have gone under a seat. I moved on on friday cos when you take your car to oour mechanic they put keys up on the sun visor. Also have to put the back seats down properly , we never have them up for use, but they have to check the belts.

Have to pick blackberries, getting an ice cream container which is a kilo every 3-4 days.. Was given alot of tomatoes yesterday so Im going to make some tomato sauce. So while the car is out Ill get jars out.

Have to ring and cancel MrPs drs appointment, I lost track of his pills and thought he needed to see a dr to get a new one, but he doesnt.

Yesterday a Lovely lady gave me a knitting machine with all the bells and whistles.. I pick it up on Wednesday.. Being a crafty lady when I rang to sort a time for pick up we ended up chatting for over half an hour lol.

The road sweepers are out there again so Ill dash out and get the blackberries.. Its foggy so they might not get too bad.

Have a fab day everyone

morning ladies :) We have a very light fog this morning, it looks really pretty with the sun shining through.

Yeah, I like knitting or sewing red, popeye. This is a lovely brick red and looks great knitted in cables.

I've made several kilos of tomato soup for winter and MrK has been making chilli sauce - it's exactly like the sweet chilli sauce you buy only better. So we are slowly getting through the tomatoes. We give lots away too, especially the cherry tomatoes. Friends with kids love them for lunch boxes. I like being able to share or swap from the garden.

Better get moving, the washing machine has finished.

Happy knitting :)

One more day with the Fluffy One, she certainly makes herself at home here lol.

kiwimade64 - 2019-03-12 08:46:00
14635

Morning everyone

We had a light fog at 7 this morning too Kiwimdae but it lifted before 8am.

The sauce is a hit.. Such a simple recipe and ingredients.. Im calling it a Naked reipce, it doesnt have anything it doesnt need. What I did find odd tho was the recipe said to bottle but leave till it was cold to seal. I put the lids on straight away. MrP had some with his rissoles last night and says, I dont want to eat that tinned stuff anymore,, and of course we had just opened a new tin on Saturday lol.. Ill give it to Izzys family, the kids will demolish it quickly lol. I might try and get hold of some more tomatoes to make sure I have enough sauce .

Did a little knitting, am up to the decreasing on the second hat. Then onto the jacket skirt and all the littl pieces.. So on schedual.

Have to go get our meds this morning.. and get some milk, Im slowly being able to shop once a week without top ups lol. Im trying not to go to the oppies lol.

MIssy was given a cat climbing toy with 2 shelves and a cubby hole box, has sniffed it but not gone any further as yet.

Right I had better get myself sorted..

Have a fab day all

morning ladies :) The lawn needs mowing, more of a quick tidy up than a real mow, I'll get it done later after I have finished this cuppa. Good thing about autum, I can mow whenever as it's not too hot.

The Fluffy One is home, did a quick dash this morning after breakfast. If looks could kill lol, she was not happy with me.

I should make more of a concerted effort to finish this wee jumper, I just can't get into it.

Overcast here which is nice.

Yep our lawns are due tomorrow kiwimade and it will be just a tidy up really.. The brown is starting to change, it should look heaps better after this mow.

Ohh Flick thats not good re your daughter... Glad her body is responding.

I have to trim MrPs hair this morning. Id rather not do it as he isnt feeling well at all. Run down I think cos he has had a recent flare up of his legs.

I popped into the oppy yesterday and spent that grand sum of $2-50 ona over your legs bed tray, with adjustable heights.. Perfect for putting my tablet or ereader on.. And it was half price which was even better. And I got two womens weekley cook books from the free bin outside the shop.

I hope to knit later.. I dont feel like doing much at all at the mo.

morning ladies :) There has been a fatal car accident up the road a bit this morning, this on top of the other day's drama with the Armed Offenders Squad. Not the first fatality on this road, sadly.

I didn't get the lawn mowed so will do that as soon as I've finished this coffee. Yoga again this evening, I've missed it! One week off being sick and the other our instructor was away.

I finished the back to our grandson's jumper last night and started the front. Shouldn't take long to do.

Better move and get this lawn mowed, I've put it off long enough.

Happy knitting :)

Morning everyone
Ohh not good re the accident Kiwimade... We had quite a few accidents last week cos of the rain on oily patches on the roads. no fatalilties here tho as far as I know.

I finished the second hat last night. Played a bit of yarn chicken cos the last meter or so of the yarn wasnt the best. But I made it just, to the colour change for the pompom.

Shopping today, and I have a small list, but Im going to stick to it. Been spending far too much money lately.
I havent brought any yarn this year, unless the wool for the santas was early in the year when I thought it was late last year.

Our lawns should be done today too..

Right Ill rattle me daggs and get moving.

Have a fab day everyone

Morning ladies,

Not good to hear about a fatal accident - I didn't hear about the Armed Offenders Squad - did I miss something?

I mowed one of my lawns yesterday (I have 4 small patches all on different levels on my steep section) and then yesterday afternoon went to the dentist for a filling - $360 - and put $50 worth of petrol in my car, so an expensive afternoon.

Plan to do some weeding this morning and then this afternoon I'm doing a shift at the op shop for a friend. This evening it's quiz night at the club but we've decided not to have a meal there beforehand. The last couple of times we've eaten there we've not been very impressed with the meal and the prices have gone up whilst the quality has gone down. Not good.

Right, so I'd better get moving.

Lawns mowed and having a cuppa. The police chased a wanted man from Tauranga the other day Kuaka, put road spikes up just up the road and the AOS were there in force with their helicopter. Police dogs, ambos, the whole caboodle as this idiot took out a power pole when he went through the spikes.

The road is still very quiet and we heard sirens again not long ago. The accident happened around 5.00am so there must be quite a bit for the police to do if the detour is still in place.

I have the hose on the garden (we are on bore water) as the garden hasn't been watered for days. Just noticed the sparrows flying in and out of the water and having baths. I try to remember to keep the bird baths full for them but they have been empty for a day or two. There's a whole row of about half a dozen sparrows sitting on the garden seat bathing.

Hi Ladies , I'm low at present and everyting I pickup to work on just goes wrong. I've undone a scarf a couple of times.
Have a plain Singer sewng machine out and oiled it , replaced the neddles gave it a good overall cleanup as I only use it when I have heavy weight fabric and plain sewing to do. Enjoy sewing on it.It's good work horse. The belt came off,it needs replaceing. Now both need to be serviced.
I cut out a couple of tops for when it gets cooler to wear. Now pushed aside.
The last couple of days or so have been cooler.Walked down to the village shops this a/noon for milk, bread and called in to the bakery for a pie for my tea tonight with vegies.
Sorry to hear about the accident in your area kiwimade.

Have a bird bath that I full up for the birds in backyard. The lawn mower guys is coming about every 10 days. We going to head out and stock up on plant feed, plants and whats needed for the gardens next week. As he only has a very small area around their place he asked me if he could help clean up the veggie gardens and share it with me. Will see how it goes.
Time for me to have some tea.
Hope everyone is ok and enjoyed their day.

Morning everyone
We ended up with a hot day yesterday.. and a grumpy one too. lol
Hes still grumpy today but I think its cos his sugars are too high.. and that is his own fault.

Did the groceries and came straight home. I finally got some baking beads.. Ive used rice many times in the past and it ends up going everywhere. And I was surprised to see them in Pak n save. so my little added extra put me over my hoped budget by $2-89... Getting closer at hitting my target lol.

Started the last hat last night, so Im still on target.. Nice with it cooling down some for knitting, although it was cool last night.

Have to pick blackberries this morning and Ive stripped on of the beds. Might even shock the clothes line and dry them outside lol.

Had some idiots messing with a gun on the other side of town yesterday.. Cops got him tho... A friends friend with 8 kids werent allowed to go home for a couple of hours until they got the guy.. and one group of blokes missed a fishing competition cos they werent allowed out of the cordon.. poor guys lol.

Have a fab day everyone

morning ladies :) Good grief popeye, the AOS are busy lately. What is it with these idiots. No dramas so far today on our road, thank goodness.

Sorry to hear your feeling low sunflowers, I hope you are OK today.

I've been out in the garden this morning, pruning (the poor hebe lol) and weeding. It's that time of the year where the garden gets cut right back as plants die off. I was given a bucketful of dahlia tubers last season and had no idea what they were like so planted them here there and everywhere lol. Now I know what I have, I can uplift them later in the season and put them where they will fit better.

Knitting this afternoon I think.

Time for a cuppa then back to weeding.

happy knitting :)

Yep Kiwimade, I simply cannot understand why people are soo angry that they have to pick up a gun. Obviously that person proabbly doesnt have a licence.
Im not that fond of some of the younger generation... and often feel pleased that I didnt have kids who have to live with the crap thats going on in the world these days.
I know it makes me sound really old.. but heck when we were younger Murders were once in a blue moon and it shocked the country, now it tends to be an everyday occurance.
The first ones I knew of were Mona Blades and The Crew murders, and the police certianly made a hash of the latter.

Ive been busy doing normal stuff today.. My surgery site still catches me occassionally but Im able to more than I did even a month ago. Yay.

840 grams of blackberries today

Play time now then dishes and dinner later..

morning ladies :) What an sad morning to wake up too. I remember Mona Blades and the Crewe Murders too, popeye. Every time we go to Napier I think of Mona. She was the first missing person/murder I remember and it had a huge impact on me, it was then I realised the world could be a horrible place.

Back out to the garden to finish this weeding. I've written a list of what I need to do this autum. The compost bin scored nicely yesterday with prunings.

Knitting this afternoon/evening I think.

Happy knitting :)

I cant beleive what I said yesterday turned into a day of Truth. Im trying not to look or read about it.. Self preservation.. I know it will put me into a bad place.
I opologise if my nephews comment on fb upsets, hes always been known for saying what he feels.. I generally do too but not about stuff like this.

Hopefully I will be picking up the knitting machine today..

Knitting later Im sure..

Have a fab day everyone

morning ladies :)

I finished the front of the jumper last evening, so should be able to knit the neckline today and start the sleeves. I find it easier to do the neckline before sleeves go in so might as well do it first.

Today would have been Dad's birthday and it was today, a year ago, he moved in with us. Time keeps marching on.

Happy knitting :)

Morning everyone
Wow that year has gone fast Kiwimade,, such a busy one for you too.

I watched some news and it has put me into a place I dont want to be. I knew I shouldnt have looked at it was the statements that Simon and Wendy made at the end that finished me off.

I was planning on baking today, but I knew last night it wouldnt happen.
So Im going to sit and knit and catch up on some recorded tv.. I should be able to finish the hat and then start on the leg bands which are small but important pieces.

Have a fab day everyone
