Morning ladies, a few days since I posted, I have been pretty bogged down getting my pantry put back together, only a few things left now to sort out (as in decide whether to keep or biff - there has been a fair bit of biffing lately!) I'm pleased with the result even though the colour of the shelves isn't what I would have chosen if I'd been buying new paint. Oh well.

Going to try to get some sewing done today and see if I can get a haircut but before that I want to put clean sheets on the bed and do the washing.

Craft market tomorrow and I need to print and laminate a few more labels for things - have been meaning to do it for ages. Maybe today is the day. And then sort out some simple knitting to do while I'm there.

Went to knit and natter on Wednesday and did a few rows on a simple shawl (I thought it was "no think" - how wrong could I be). I spent all Wednesday afternoon "tinking" some 1800 stitches, and then all Wednesday evening re-knitting back to where I had been before I noticed the mistake. Grrrr!

Hope everyone has a fab day.

Morning everyone

A busy time for you Kuaka but I bet its a relief to have the kitchen back in order.

Wet here, not cold tho. In fact I think Ill be stripping a blanket off the bed today. Have had my feet out for the last few nights lol.

Still crocheting away on this doll cot blanket. Theres no rush I wont see her mum till Tuesday. But I did show her a pic of it last night and she loves it.

Have a friend coming for her birthday gifts today, she got kidnapped yesterday and wasnt releaesed until late last night lol.. sounds like they had a ball tho lol.

Stay safe if your on the roads and have a fun day crafting

Morning ladies, I was up early for the craft market and just making my first cup of tea at 6am when Bill phoned and said "get back to bed, the market is cancelled". So I thanked him for phoning and did just that. Took my tea with me, and then slept till just after 9am.

Now I have to find something to do to fill in the day - too wet to do any gardening, so I just might do some sewing and have a bit of a blitz in the sewing room as it looks like a tornado has been through it. This afternoon I'm going to the club to play mah jong - not sure if the numbers will work out right, but I'm heading out of town to pick up a friend and bring her in then I'll take her home again.

Been invited to a pot luck dinner at 6 so I'm trying to decide what to make. Might make either a pasta bake, sausage casserole or rice risotto - if I decide on one of the first two, I will prepare it, and then dash in and put it in the oven as I go by to take my friend back home.

Only 10 more rows to do on my little shawlette thingey and then cast off, (it's got a picot cast off) but it's a "percentage" pattern and it tells me that the last 10 rows and cast off are 20% of the pattern. I'd never heard of "percentage" pattern, first one I've seen. Quite useful, especially if you're not sure you have enough yarn.

Have a super day everyone.

Morning all - supposed to rain but the sky is getting bluer and bluer all the time - not complaining about that
Have had internet problems all week - it keeps dropping out - when they installed fibre they put the modem in one of the bedrooms as the ceiling in the lounge has all sorts of angles and the top story they said made putting the whatever in so I think I must have made ten thousand trips between the bedroom and the computer - when it drops out takes all the settings out of my Apple TV as well - grrrr
Busy day ahead of you Kuaka - not sure what I might do - not a lot - will trawl the net looking for patterns to show my grandson for his blanket - I thought he would not be fussed but I can see he is going to have a lot of input
Well might have another coffee and see if that might get me cracking

Afternoon
Woke to beautiful day, hung out washing, went to factory, came home to lovely dry clothes, had shower came out to rather damp clothes, shifted them into garage now bright and sunny again! - the clothes can just stay in garage.

How annoying Gerry with the modem misbehaving, we certainly have got used to having internet around all the time, I'd be very lost without it now.

Off to supermarket now then can relax this evening

Morning everyone
A wild day out there with a large temperature drop.

Im going to be baking more fruit mince pies this morning so it will soon heat up a bit here. Should get another 4 dozen pies. Im hoping to barter or sell them, like I used to do.

Didnt crochet yesterday, had a friend around for her birthday present, and then just got busy in the afternoon.
Was hoping Id have the little blanket done so I could sew some linien, but it wont take too long.

Stay safe if your travelling and warm

Have a fab day

Morning ladies,

We had another fun night at the neighbours pot luck dinner. I ended up taking a sausage casserole (has tomatoes, carrots, onions, mushrooms, apples, garlic and soy sauce so quite tasty) and also did a rice risotto. As usual there was lots of food and lots of laughs. I drove up there (it's uphill) as it was chucking it down, but walked home in the dark (with my torch and an empty wine bottle in case I needed a "weapon"!) Had only been home a couple of minutes and the heavens opened. Will go up soon and get my car and go to the supermarket.

Today we were supposed to be having a beach bbq (invites were delivered to several streets in the neighbourhood) but it's been postponed for two weeks - it's really windy here and not very warm, but the sun is shining. It was scheduled for 10am which is a bit odd as it's high tide and not much in the way of beach available.

I thought I had finished putting everything back in the pantry but yesterday I discovered a heap of stuff in the spare bedroom that came out of the pantry, it's really stuff that doesn't need to be in there, so I will try to find somewhere else for it. No idea where.

I think it's time I had breakfast then I can get my car and go shopping. Might have a lazy afternoon and just do some knitting. It looks too cold to be weeding the garden but I will do some gardening if the wind drops.

Have a super day everyone.

morning ladies :) I've never heard of a percentage pattern either kuaka, sounds interesting!

Our daughter and grandson stayed the weekend so not much crafting done but I did manage to teach her a basic knitting cable. She'll have a tutu and work the rest out from there. Thought she did pretty well for her first attempt too.

Today I'll catch up on housework, I need to mow the lawn but can't see that happening until tomorrow.

Happy knitting :)

Morning
You are a good teacher Kiwimade saw your daughter's cable on fb and looked great.
A percentage patterns sounds a good idea especially if you are wanting to add stripes or something a bit different.
Why does sewing up something seem to take longer than actually knitting it? I know it doesn't really but just seems like it perhaps because I procrastinate so much about doing it lol.
Finally got the buttons for my pile of finished things so hopefully will get them on a parcel away to Italy this week, I'll turn a blind eye to what the postage willl be!

Enjoy your day

Morning everyone

I too saw the cable on fb Kiwimade. She is going great guns with her knitting eh. Already has a nice tension too.

I think I have about 5 rows to do on this wee blanket. So cos Im having a sort of flat day ill do that and sew a zillion ends in. Mind you I dont mind doing that lol.

Gave my friend her birthday presents, finally on Saturday. And decided that it would be a good idea for her to have her christmas present too. And yesterday was freezing so the blanket came in handy. Measured it and its 165cms square.. Same height as me lol.

Right I need to get up and do my blood and get a couple of things at supermarket.

Have a fab day everyone

Morning all - was quite a nice morning but the clouds are rapidly rolling in - there is snow on the Tauoo road so will be cold out at the park if we do go
Must have a look at the percentage pattern - love new looking at new ideas
Did very little crochet over the weekend -doing two large blankets the same one after the other isn't ideal - grandson. is still looking he found some that look like tumbling blocks - very clever but simple - I am pleased he is giving it some thought
Yes Jayemtoo postage can be horrendous but it's worth it to send something homemade
Well better get cracking won't bother puting the washing on the line - if I do it will sure to rain

gerry64 - 2017-09-11 09:38:00
12612

Afternoon ladies, what a mixed bag weather-wise, we've had sun, rain, hail, wind, more sun, more rain, and it is really quite cold, only 9 degrees along the waterfront when I came home from the op shop an hour or so ago. My friend who I work with was wearing a short sleeved top and jandals - she doesn't feel the cold. I was wearing a merino jersey and my leather boots and wool socks and my feet were still cold.

I suppose I should make the effort and go to the club tonight but I'll see what the weather is like closer to the time. It doesn't sound very appealing at the moment.

The "percentage" pattern that I'm doing is a free download on Ravelry, it's called "spindrift shawl" by Helen Stewart. It takes 400 metres of 4 ply, or just under a ball of sock yarn.

I think I might just light the fire.

Have a super afternoon everyone.

12613

morning ladies :) We have fine weather this morning, it's supposed to be the best day weather-wise for the week. So I'll mow the lawn as omg it's growing fast now.

I really must get new glasses, found I had read some of the symbols on the legend of this cross stitch wrong and was using green instead of pink, not something I could get away with so had a big unpicking session yesterday. Am pleased though as now it is beginning to look like a waxeye.

The Furry One is off to the vet today for his annual check up and he needs more epilepsy meds so good timing there. I'll have to find his 'Plunket' book lol. The vets laugh when we call it that and say lots of other clients do the same.

So nice to see the sun!

happy knitting :)

morning ladies :) Was a weird sort of day weather wise yesterday with the temperatures going hot, then freezing. I did manage to mow the lawn though and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Not sure what the day's plans are but there will be some crafting in there at some time.

Yin Yoga this evening, am looking forward to that as I feel so good afterwards.

Happy knitting :)

Morning everyone,

it was a day of four seasons yesterday Kiwimade. Got quite cold in the evening. Our lawns were done yesterday too finally.

I finished the little blanket and sewed a couple of sheets and a wee pillow for Dolly as well. her mum says she will love them.

Was going to start some christmassy stuff today but I really need to make a cover for my foot stool. Its fake vinyl is peeling.. So after Ive done MrP's pills Ill get onto that.

MrP is still in bed so I'm enjoying not having the tv on lol..

Morning ladies, I was still awake at 2 this morning and as a result I slept late this morning, didn't wake till 8.30 and then didn't really feel like getting up.

Popeye, I'm sure that little girl will love the things you've made for her.

I have some trousers to shorten for someone, and he wants them by tomorrow. He said he had two pairs when he asked but he arrived with 5 pairs. I'll get a couple done after breakfast and drop them in to him at the cafe where I go for knit and natter and then I'll get the others done when I come home and his wife can pick them up. He wants them by tomorrow.

And then hopefully I can get some of the lawns mowed.

"D" day tomorrow - as in dentist and tooth extraction. I'm really getting quite excited about it - NOT !! I'm not looking forward to the hours drive home, I will come straight back and hope that the injection will still be effective until I get home. I think I'll take some painkillers with me and stop and take some if I have to.

Right, better crack on.

Have a super day everyone.

kuaka - 2017-09-13 09:56:00
12619

kuaka, take the painkillers before you leave the dentist, this way when the anesthetic wears off, the pain killers have kicked in and you don't have that 'gap' of time where there is no pain relief.

Popeye, I'm sure the little girl will love her new dolly things.

kiwimade64 - 2017-09-13 16:27:00
12620

Yes She loves them and they fit.. Yayay...

She drags the cot to the lounge to put baby to bed, then drags it into her bedroom when she needs a nap herself lol...

popeye333 - 2017-09-13 18:17:00
12621

Morning ladies,

Yes kiwimade, I was thinking that myself, might even take them at my friends just before I go to the dentist or as soon as I get to the dentist, I probably won't feel like swallowing them with a mouth full of blood - last time I came home with a chunk of cotton wool swab in the hole and was told to leave it there as long as possible.

popeye, that is so cool. Obviously the little girl loves her dolly and all it's accessories.

I had a busy day yesterday, mowed 3 of my lawns, shortened 5 pairs of trousers then went for an 8km walk. Fell asleep in the chair after tea and woke to find the house in darkness, no tv. Power off. Lit a candle and looked out the window, everyone else had power, so I checked the board and one of the circuit breakers had tripped. Reset it and went to bed.

Right, I must get breakfast and showered, I want to leave here by 8.30 so I can spend some time with my friend before the dentist.

Have a super day everyone.

morning ladies :) Good luck with the dentist kuaka, once your gum has healed you will feel so much better.

That is so cool about the little girl popeye, really neat to know your work is loved.

I'm still plodding my way through this cross stitch, it looks a lot better now I'm using the correct colours lol.

Happy knitting :)

Morning
Nice day again.
Hope the dentist visit goes ok for you Kuaka and you heal quickly.
Yes using the correct colours will help Kiwimade!

Planted a pomegranate in the place the gooseberry came out, no idea how it will do as haven't seen one growing before. Also another dwarf peach so now have to wait and see if anything will actually produce.

Have 4 skeins of dyed wool to wind and knit up into things a couple look too bright for socks but will decide as I go along.

Morning early birds ..

Good luck Kuaka, might be a good idea if your friend drives you home..

Cant wait to see the waxeye Kiwimade, such pretty little birds. Used to have alot on the farm, and swallows... The swallows scared the living daylights out of our old girlcat, she hated birds after that.

Can never have too bright wool for socks Jayemtoo, make a fashion statment lol.

Shopping this morning. MrP cant be bothered. Hes just sleeping his life away. Im not going to cause an arguement trying to push him into coming out.

I have partially joined the cover for my stool.. Will finish it later today I hope.
Have been thinking I might do a rasta blanket at some stage. I asked a friend who likes the colours if they had a set order etc and she didnt know. So Aunty google helped me and they are in a set order and each colour has a meaning, and are of course the colours of the ethiopean flag.

But I will see what the day brings.

Have a fab day all

I checked them on line and apparently they aren't frost tender but do need long hot summers for fruit to ripen so think they should do ok in Hawkes Bay but I don't have the best "green thumbs" so it will be wait and see.

I love pommegranite Jayemtoo.. it will be interesting to see how it grows.

When I was younger my Stepfather grew Tamarillos here, even tho theyr are very frost tender. grew into Huge trees.. Love them too

Afternoon ladies, I'm just home and going to sit outside in the sun and have a coffee, well I was but the sun has just disappeared. He was very good, very gentle, I can honestly say I really didn't feel anything but a bit of gentle pressure. The tooth looked awful when I saw it on the tray so I would say I'm well rid of it.

He said to take pain killers for a while but I shouldn't need them by Saturday and if I still need them Sunday then it's probably infected and I will have to go back, so fingers crossed. He said to eat and drink normally but no alcohol - spoilsport. I feel like a brandy right now, coffee will have to do.

kuaka - 2017-09-14 13:26:00

Morning
Great to hear that the tooth is out and all went well Kuaka.
A while back I grew a yellow tamarillo which did well for a couple of years but then the frost hit it 2 years runnning and it never recovered. My garden is really a bit small for them too.
It is another lovely day, think it will be quite warm.
Found another pattern for little socks which I think will work ok, the last pair the heels looked sort of "odd" but should be alright when on. This new pattern has a different type of heel similar, to how I do the adult ones, so see how it goes. I'd like to be able to do 2 at a time.

Must get going - have an enjoyable day Everyone

morning ladies :) Great to hear your tooth extraction went well kuaka. Dentistry has certainly changed over the years.

If your pomegranate needs long hot summers, then you are in the perfect place jayemtoo. Our summers may not be hot enough to grow one. The plum is beginning to blossom and the freesias I planted earlier this year are in flower. They are supposed to be 'navy blue' but look more purple to me. Doesn't matter, all colours are welcome in the garden! I need to tie back the climbing roses at some stage so they grow along the wire on the fence.

Really looking forward to some sunshine but these wet days does mean my crafting is getting more than it's fair share of time.

Happy knitting.

Morning everyone
Was nice when I first got up but is slowly clouding over.

I dont really have anything on the agenda this morning.. Im bidding on a light and that finishes in about 20 mins, so Im hoping if I win I can go get it this morning.

I have some washing tp fold and put away, and then maybe Ill get something done craftwise.

We didnt get any daffodils flowering and only one Jonquil. The bulbs have been moved soo many times and must have been about 19-20 years old I guess. So will get some more for next year.

Ohh I could plant some seeds for the vege garden, yes thats what Ill do later.

Hope your gum is feeling ok this morning Kuaka
Have a fab day everyone

popeye333 - 2017-09-15 08:42:00
12632

Morning ladies, well despite the dentist saying I should eat and drink as normal I didn't fancy anything much yesterday so had a cup of soup for lunch, another for tea and then some noodles, slept in the chair half the evening then when I went to bed I couldn't sleep 'cos I was hungry, so at 2am I got up and made a cheese omelette and then had some yoghurt and went back to bed, and slept till 10 minutes ago.

At the moment I don't need to take any more painkillers. I really can't get over how gentle the dentist was. When I had a molar out a few years ago I thought he was going to pull my toenails out too, and apparently there's a tiny piece of tooth left in the gum, it shows on the x-rays.

No plans for today. Will pop into town for milk and to check the mail and call in at the neighbours and pick up my pot and casserole dish which I left there at the weekend, other than that, I guess it will be a bit of a tidy up and maybe some knitting.

Hope you won the auction popeye.

Kiwimade, I bought two chrysanths a while back, one was a stunning gold colour which I promptly killed (didn't think it was possible) and the other was yellow. I pruned it hard and now it is starting to flower a deep burgundy colour. I know it's the same one because I didn't plant them, they're still in the original pots. How does that happen?

Have a super day everyone.

Hi Ladies from sunny Napier. While the weather been warm and dry been out gardening and really enjoying it.Replaced the plants that birds snails eaten. Not long back inside from working in the gardens. Hope your fruit trees and other eatables you planted do well in your garden Jayemtoo.

Kuaka I think the bees may have been busy working on your chrysanthemum plant with a burgundy colour one nearby. Glad to hear you've had very little pain from tooth you had taken out.

Good luck with your lamp buying. Sound like you need new fresh bulbs for your garden. There are a lot of new colours out now as well. Gave a large box away to my garden/mower man the other day that didn't get planted this year. Still more sitting waiting to be planted. Ones in the front need lifting and replanted this year.Been there 10/12 years now.

Look forward to seeing the bookcase when it's finished. If ou was closer I would put an order in for one Kiwimade. We downsized our book collection a few years ago.
Have another load of washing to hang out and than be time for to get cleaned up and get our fresh fish for tea tonight. We are just so lucky to have such a good fresh fish shop.
Try and fit some sewing/knitting in later in the day.

Have a great day ladies.

Glad all is ok for you Kuaka.

When I had all mine out I was put right out thankfully. The surgeon was huge, as in about 6'12' (lol) and very large but muscly not fat. with red hair and beard and the most gentle soft voice ever. He did an awesome job. I had no pain and no chips. That was 6 days out from christmas day. I had french toast for christmas dinner that year lol.

I didnt win the lamp. So I went opp shopping. The perfect lamp was in the St John shop but at $25 I thought it was a little expensive due to the condition.
I got lots of goodies tho. Another jar to match my tea ancd coffee, so now I have a full matching set of four. Four cookbooks. Some more poly styrene balls and coat hangers for covering.. But the best buy was 12 little metal individual pudding moulds and 16 cream horn cases.for the grand sun of $16-50 for everything. And probably the jar is what pleases me the most lol

Will spend the afternoon perusing the recipe books tho lol

morning ladies :) That's great about your gum kuaka, mouths heal up pretty quick too.

I agree with sunflowers, sounds like you have had some very busy bees working your garden, I love how plants can change over time. We don't seem to have many snails but we do have lots of birds in the garden and I keep the weeds down. There is one weed that makes both me and the Furry One itch like crazy so I keep on keeping on with the weeding.

MrK is building a temporary raised garden for the spuds so the bookcase is being built in between now... sigh... I am beginning to wonder if it will be finished.

Still waiting for a few fine days so I can paint this dressing table. Once that is done and bookcase completed, the room will be finished.

You found some bargains popeye, maybe loosing the auction was meant to be.

Happy knitting :)

Morning everyone

Yep I think the same Kiwimade, I was meant to lose and then go out.

Had a nice time last night going through the cookbooks, I have alot marked that I want to make now.

Baking today for me. More fruit mince pies. Have deicded not to make our fruit cake until after the sheep arrives later in the year. Otherwise Ill never get it all in the freezer. I usually make a big cake and cut it into 4 and freeze it. otherwise MrP would just eat until it was finished

Do any of you ladies know if you can still get silver cachous? for cake decorating? I want to make some shortbread stars, and dip a point or two in chocolate and then put the cachous on them. I dont use alot of decorative things so havent noticed if they are still sold.

Crafts are still on hold.. But the stuff will always be there.

Its a fine day here but a brisk wind.

Have a fab day everyone

Morning ladies, was just about to go for a walk with friends, and had an attack of delhi belly (again) I've decided that it's the red wine that does it, so might have to be more careful when indulging and not overdo it. And it started to rain at 9.30, but has stopped so now we are going at 10.

When I come home I want to do some gardening and then this afternoon I'm playing mah jong at the club. I will have to do some knitting tonight as I did none yesterday.

Looks like the rain has gone for now and it's nice and sunny. Hope it stays that way.

Have a super day.

Morning
Hope the weather improves soon KIwimade so you can get your painting done - or move down here lol.

Im pretty sure you can still get the silver cashous Popeye although haven't actually brought any for ages.

Typed on here went to post it and it disappeared - annoying to say the least so went and hung out the clothes instead they should be dry soon with the sun and wind. Have patches of the old fashioned white freezias around the garden and the scent is delightful when going past them.

Made a pair of socks yesterday, they are tiny newborn size but have finally found the pattern I was looking for - toe up, easy heel and can do 2 at a time, it is similar to the adult pattern I use, so now will play around with the pattern to get other sizes. I'm not clever enough to create a pattern from scratch but when I find one that I like I make adjustments so as to get some variety.

Enjoy your day

morning ladies :) We saw on the weather last night how Napier and the East Coast have been having lovely days, share the sun around lol. We have pretty much had one day out of a month of rain of sunshine. And today looks no different.

I will try and get out to weed today and spread some compost. MrK opened one of the compost bins the other day and omgg the worms! Lots and lots of baby ones too. Can't wait to get it spread on the garden.

My cross stitch is slow as there are so many colour changes, two stitches here, one there, then change colour. It's certainly a test for my patience that's for sure.

The socks sound lovely jayemtoo, knitted baby socks would be a fiddle though?

Happy knitting :)

My dentist in Kaikohe said I needed to see a specialist and it was all organised, so I saw Dr Grant Croft at Kensington Dental Services, in Kensington Road. The first visit when he looked at the x-rays my Kaikohe dentist had sent through, and he checked my teeth and discussed my options, cost me $55 which I thought was reasonable. It cost me $240 to get the tooth pulled - no idea whether that is within the "normal" price range, but it was worth it because he was so gentle. I honestly didn't feel a thing. I took painkillers that first day but haven't needed any since, and my jaw and gum aren't giving me any trouble, no discomfort whatsoever, and I only had it done on Thursday. Previous tooth (different dentist) I was in agony for days, swollen face, and he's left a piece of tooth in the gum apparently. Shows on the x-rays. That time I thought he was going to pull my toenails out as well.

I definitely recommend him.

Morning everyone,

Another grey day here too, was quite warm through the night.

I dont plan on doing much today, other than putting washing away and doing the rubbish and recycling.

A friend brought her daughters zig zag blanket for me to look at. Theres a proper name and it escapes me at the mo lol. So will ahve a good look at that later.

I should be doing some garden, but it can wait lol.

morning ladies :) Well my waxeye cross stitch has been thrown into the 'never-to-be-finished'-
pile.

I had another look at the pattern and only half of it was generated by the computer programe. I think my photo was just too big so I'll need to have a tutu and resize it somehow. So today I'll practice making the braid for the embroidery I want to learn. It's crochet and can be a tad boring but I can sit in the evening and do it.

MrK has most of the shelves up on the bookcase so yesterday I started going through our books and shelving them. It's like finding old friends lol.

Happy knitting :)

Morning
Oh no Kiwimade that is more than frustrating, hope you can resize it ok.

We were told to expect rain last night so didn't water the garden and it is still bone dry! Don't want to have to start watering this early in the season but will need to later today.

My pile of things needing to be finished off is growing again so will need a session of sewing up and sewing on buttons etc.

Enjoy your day

Morning everyone.
Had a fair bit of wind and rain last night. Not so bad at the mo

Michele tell hubby he is putting his heart at risk of bacteria getting in there from his gums etc. When I was a kid I had my bottom lipped drilled by a high speed drill. I wouldnt go to the dentist unless it was to have a tooth pulled. The dentist at the hospital when I had my heart stuff told me about how bad teeth can affect your heart.

I have to pop up the street this morning. I want some apricots and pumpkin for a new jam recipe Ive found. It also has passionfruit pulp of which I have oodles of.

We watched Goodbye pork Pie yesterday, the original. I wont say I didnt like it, but I only laughed a couple of times. It was more fun seeing the old actors. We have the new version to watch and compare too.

Ohh Kiwimade, how disappointing for you re the waxeye. I had a tiger lilly cross stitch that I totally screwed up and that stayed in the Norty corner for a while before I binned it lol.

Have a fab day everyone

I agree about the dentist popeye, MrK was told the same thing about his teeth and heart by his cardiologist. Yeah, it is disappointing, but I'm hoping I can rescue it in some way and it will be exactly what I'm wanting. That's the thing about crafting, you have to give it a go and be prepared to expect some disappointments.

Books are on the shelves lol and MrK is still putting the top shelves up... no pressure! He did say I could start emptying the boxes though. Can't believe the space we have in our room now that the books are up off the floor. I already have ideas for when we do it up... MrK says I have enough jobs lined up for him to last until he is 120 years old lol.

morning ladies :) An early start for me today, I rolled over and found my foot on the floor thanks to the Furry One wanting to snuggle up in the wee hours.

I have a long list of things needing to be done today so it's probably just as well I'm up.

Happy knitting :)

Morning
Well the rain has arrived so plants will be happy. It's cold too though but will keep warm enough at Mainly Music with all the jumping around.

Better get sorted and away - have a good day whatever you are doing.

Morning everyone
Was chilly last night when I went to bed.. Not soo bad this morning but its beautiful out there.

Will put the jam on when Ive finished my breakfast.

I made a jar of Rhubarb jelly yesterday, as a trial run, it will be back in the pot this morning, probably only needs another 10 minutes, its not quite thick enough. I stewed a bag of rhubarb but onpurposely put extra water in it. Then raided it to make the jelly.

Have a fab day everyone
