Morning everyone.
Mixed weather here too, it was gently raining at 5-15 am when I went out and took the rubbish bags off the recycle bin. Its handy wo wheel the heavy bags out. but I put them up to keep the cats away.

A gentle day today, I am more than my normal sore.. Bit like a hang over, its my own fault, so I shouldnt be complaining. But Ohhh the jam is lovely lol.

I have a few of my fave recipe books next to me to have a looky through. We have plenty of lemons, so will see if I can find something interesting to do with them.
Do any of you ladies have a passsionfruit butter recipe you swear by?

Like you Kuaka when I found out I was walking 6km coukdnt believe it - when I first started going out to the park 500m was about my limit - to be honest I wouldn't do it if I didn't have the blimmin dog
Mum has now decided she would like me to make a pie for her lunch - she will have the KFC for tea - I am going to cheat a bit Robie had a new baker start recently who makes divine puff pastry so will hop in there and beg for a kilo of two -

Morning
Days are getting longer again - great, means we are heading out of winter. It was 20o here yesterday which is very pleasant.

I'm knitting a small V neck vest with no seams, not even on the shoulders and it is working out well, think it will become another quick one to do for using up scraps of wool.

Mainly Music and aquarobics today, so that is morning and evening taken care of and I'll decide about the afternoon when I get to it.

morning ladies :) I've noticed it's not getting dark until later now too.

A busy day here too planned. I need to pick some timber up for MrK so he can keep plodding on with the book case and I need to return the duvet which means a trip to Hamilton. Have run out of wool for the throw so will pick some up on the way home. The Fluffy One goes home today and returns next week. And yoga this evening which I am really looking forward too. Can't believe the difference it has made to my back and as a bonus, my clothes are getting looser.

Morning everyone
A warmish night last night. No electric blankets and the top blanket thrown back.
I will be having another very quiet day. Iim only just coping with what absolutely needs to be done.

I enjoyed going through my recipe books yesterday. Found some recipes using passionfruit in measurements not just say 10 passionfruit. So when I can move better Ill be able to try my hand at some passionfruit jams etc. I imagine they will come out a pretty colour.

Im not liking Murphy at the mo lol... why is it that when you cant bend you keep dropping things lol...

I havent brought wool since before my birthday (Start of May) so Ive been very good. I dont need anymore but its still nice to look.

Didnt get any crochet done, I just cant seem to concentrate too well at the mo.

Morning ladies, it's overcast here but I've just checked the forecast and we have rain "scheduled" for late evening - I would have thought we've had enough but apparently not.

I managed to do some gardening yesterday and couldn't believe the clump of grass in my veg garden till I yanked it out and remembered it was my chives! What a twerp. I've replanted it but don't know if it will survive. I did some weeding and planted some earlicheer which I bought last time I was at the warehouse as they were almost giving them away. They should have been in by June. Today I hope to plant the daffs which I bought at the same time as they were really cheap. Hope to also mow the grass strip beside the driveway and the little lawn at the front. That should do me for today and this afternoon is my usual mah jong afternoon.

Maybe a walk around 5pm, and I must do some knitting tonight. I have a couple of toy patterns I'd like to get done before the weekend, as we have our first market for the season. There's a jazz festival on in town so there should be lots of people here for that. Hope they come to the market to spend their money.

Paid for my cruise yesterday. We're going 7th April to 17th April, really looking forward to it. Still have to arrange travel insurance.

Jayemtoo, that vest pattern sounds interesting. If it turns out well, would you be willing to share the pattern with me, pretty please.

It's raining.
Kuaka The pattern is Birthday Biy Vest on Ravelry. It has stripes but I'm doing it plain for a starter but it's a pattern I think you could add whatever you like to. It's first time I've managed a provisional cast on without some sort of tangle.

Went to aquarobics last evening which tends really to wake me up then read until the wee small hours - silly me. I'm hoping we can get down the drive to the factory with this rain, will have to wait and see I guess.

Did a sleeve of the 2 coloured jersey yesterday so it's slowly growing again.

I sprained my ankle yesterday taking the Fluffy One home which meant I had to drive home with it - had to be my accelerator foot. I've puts lots of Antiflamme on it and the bruising is coming out, it's great stuff. So I'm hobbling around which isn't doing it any good. Didn't go to yoga and I really missed it.

Today we are visiting MrK's brother-in-law who is still in Tauranga Hosp after seven weeks. He never had the hip replacement as his pelvis was too badly damaged by his leg so they are waiting for it to heal. Time drags by in hosp so seven weeks has been pretty tough on him and his wife.

Still beavering away with the angora, the Furry One loves to bury his nose into it, don't blame him as it is so soft. I read the tag and it comes from Clyde.

Warm and wet here, and windy so cant find a window to keep open other than the loo ..lol

Pain is much improved this morning Yayay.. It doesnt feel like Im tearing myself in two everytime I stand up.. But I wont be silly and over do things.

Got quite a few rounds done on the crochet yesterday. Theyre are taking over half and hour per round now.

7 weeks in hospital wouldnt be much fun for anyone Kiwimade. Mind you it was just under 8 weeks that mum was in at the end. The longest 8 weeks in my life. Hope your BIL improves.

Will do our pills this morning and then crochet later..

Morning ladies, its wet here as well. Didn't go for the walk last night as rain was threatening but we decided we would go today - looks like that will be a non-event too.

Have a dental appointment at 2pm in Kaikohe so will go about 12 and do some shopping before and then come home straight after. Would prefer not to be driving that road in the rain, but I'll just leave earlier and be extra careful and hope the other drivers do likewise. Same for you kiwimade.

Yes 7 weeks is a long time to be in hospital. My friend who was rushed in when I was down in Whangarei back in June is still in, but has been transferred from Auckland back to Whangarei, she is still only eating small amounts of soft foods though and still has the feeding tube in. I think she is finally on the mend so that's good.

I didn't get much knitting done last night as I was so tired I nodded off in the chair and woke with a stiff neck, and that was after having a really good sleep the night before.

Did some gardening yesterday and mowed my scrappy front lawn and discovered my bird bath has broken. Grrrrr. I will have to replace it as the birds love it, and I enjoy sitting watching them in it. They're not cheap, but it's only money (says she who has none)

Right, breakfast then I might do some knitting before I go out. Certainly can't do any gardening, and the housework can wait. I want to get on with these two toys for the market.

Good Morning Ladies A sunny day today.. Busy day yesterday,had to go into Winz . What pain.Mr S can't get into the office as the ramp into the building is just to hard for me to push up the wheelchair ..Was not a good out come,have to return next Wed.

Picked up my knitting needles last night for all of 10 mins.
Today is another busy day blood test for Mr S. Dr's appointment for me. and s/market shop. Did have Dental appointment today as well. Put off till Monday.
Picked up oranges off the ground,checked on veggie seeds and plants.
Going to my gym class which is twice week this morning. Later today I will hang some curtains I finished for the office and cupboards. Another job ticked off.
Hope your visit is not to painful or to hard on the pocket Kuaku.

If you are out and about on the roads today take care and enjoy yourselves.

Morning ladies, well I must admit I am quite impressed with the new lady dentist I saw yesterday, she seems very thorough and very gentle and instead of asking stupid questions that you can't answer like a lot of dentists seem to, she explains what she is doing all the time. She's Chinese (I think - Asian anyway, very tiny and I would say, not been practicing very long - but I'm pleased with her). Wasn't quite so pleased with the cost - $330 after a $40 discount for being old and decrepit.

We didn't go for our walk last night as the weather was still very damp (although not actually raining) and my mouth was still numb so we will go today - fingers crossed.

I have a builder coming in half an hour to finish plastering a hole in the wall (where the door knob went through it - was there when we bought the house over 10 years ago - so I am gradually getting things done round the place) and he's going to measure up for new shelves in my pantry. A job that has been waiting far too long.

I was fuming yesterday when I checked my mail and there was an invoice from one of the local plumbers (we haven't used that particular plumber for 6 or 7 years) addressed to Mr and Mrs and for work done on a property in a different street that obviously I don't own. Phoned them, the woman did apologise but I thought that was pretty slack.

Right I had better have my shower before my builder friend arrives.

Good morning - well I don't think I will ever forget my Mums 100th - she asked for a pie didn't make the pastry but rolled out pastry from Robie's bakery - deep dish chicken pie - decorated the top - but my oven wouldn't switch on - googled instructions - pressed all the buttons in every different conceivable sequence no luck - so had ordered a cake from a local cafe - thought I would go a bit upmarket than Robie's supermarket - couldn't believe it when I went to pick it up - they must have decided to either eat half the cake batter of make 2 out of one mixture - mum laughed - it was $48 measured 4 inches and was dry and absolutely awful - the one from Robie's supermarket to take out to the resthome staff was beautiful so that made it even worse - so we had chicken salad and new potatoes and my brother took the uncookec pie home and cooked it - but at least we had a fantastic day -she will be very tired today I think - I sent an olive branch to my sister up north - I was the last sibling to fall out with her - she hasn't spoken to Mum for 15 years - I thought well just maybe she might like to bury the hatchet but got an awful earful for my trouble - actually I was glad I tried -
Lazy day today - family from down south coming tomorrow - all the grandchildren are flying in from all over the place for the weekend so no doubt all the grandkids will celebrate - all wondering who has inherited her genes

Sunflowers did you know you can be Mr'S agent? He may have to go in with you so they can see him do his signature, but it means from then on you can do anything that needs to be done. Ive been Mr"ps agent and my mothers for many years.

Ohh Gerry what a mess, re the food etc.. but at least it wont be forgotten lol.

Shopping this morning. Have to go pick up a dish from the St John oppy i brought through FB. Its good that they show stock and we can buy and in my case get them to hold it for me.

A followup appointment for Mr'P later.

My pain is about 7- 8, so Im proving slowly.

Well I've just had a nice surprise - I've just checked my bank account and the voucher that the receptionist gave me on my last visit to the dentist to use yesterday wasn't for a $40 discount, it was so that I would only be charged $40 for the visit. So yesterday's filling only cost me $40. I'm rapt. If I had realised that I would have used my cashflow card and taken it out of my current account rather than using my credit card.

Yesterday I helped my sister move three beds and a fridge. We were quite the sight, her with her bung shoulder and me with my ankle lol. But we got there in the end. But I am not surprised it's sore this morning.

I'm meant to be having a coffee with a friend this morning so will see how I go. MrK wants me to pick up more timber for the bookcase as well. Hmm... so much for keeping my foot up.

I'm running out of wool for the throw so will phone the shop and ask them to order more for me, I had to unpick (sigh... that's my specialty!) and you can see where I have used the unpicked wool. When it is finished I'll wash it gently by hand and that should do the trick. MrK keeps eyeing it up lol and checking on progress. Depending on how quickly they can get the wool in, it will take about another week I think.

Mr"ps trip to the drs yesterday was interesting to say the least. But I cant say here.. Will say tho when our Dr asked me why I was hobbling , and I told her standing 3 hours making Jam wasnt a good look, she gave me a scowl face, and said have you learnt a lesson, I said yep,,, just do small batches of jam now lol. She shook her head with a smile on her face lol.

Will be resting today, Ill get the hotty onto my back when Ive finished breakfast, and sit and crochet.

I've decided Antiflamme is the best thing since sliced bread lol, it certainly brings out the bruising. Coffee with my friend was postponed until Monday as she was called into work early and MrK then decided he would pick the timber up so I was able to sit for a bit. Then a friend from the States phoned in the afternoon and that was another hour or so with my foot up (thank goodness for free internet calls!) so I was able to rest it for quite a bit.

Yesterday I decided the dressing table in the newly painted room needs an update and makeover so am going to paint it white. The varnish is starting to wear and it's looking shabby and not in a shabby-chic way either. And white will brighten the room a bit as all this grey can be a bit broody. So a few fine days would be nice so I can get on with that.

I have run out of angora and have to wait for more to arrive at the shop before I can continue so I have tucked it away out of sight of the Furry One for now. I'll have to find something else to do in between times.

Morning everyone,
Yes Kiwimade we have a very onto it Dr.. When she came to get us from the waiting room we were talking to a nurse about when my Angiogram bled out... And when we got into her room she told us about her first power bleed when she was a very new dr. A guy had been stabbed in the arm hitting his main artery, didnt matter what they did in the ED it wouldnt stop bleeding out, so the Dr ran up to Theatre on the next floor and he ws rushed into theatre. The surgeon told her later its the whitest he had seen our Dr.. She said it was the most scared she had been too lol

Did quite a bit of crochet yesterday, thanks to Spark having a massive internet crash here. I dont know how big till I look on fb. The chemist here was one of the few who still had eftpos. Had no texting either...

Pain still bad and getting me down, frustrating too.. But we have to just get used to it.

It's o
A lovely day - one of those that make me want to get going so washing done, dinner in slow cooker, have apples stewing, they were 49c a kilo the other day and seem to be cooking up well.
Then out to the factory for a bit of a play.

Found 2 lots of wool which I think will knit up quite nicely for a small boy an olive sort of green - but not a dull green - for a cardigan and a nice brown for a jersey with cables. His sister had a couple of nice red ones which he can inherit. There was also a lovely fawn but will keep that in mind for next year as I think would suit a bit older child. Now I just need to get the needles free from what is already on them. Also will have the bands of the vest and jacket to do at some stage!

Afternoon ladies, just home from the craft market, I'd like to say it was a roaring success, but I'd be lying. Made two very small sales not long before we shut up for the afternoon. Back there tomorrow so hoping for a better day then. It was lovely and sunny outside but very windy and I seemed to be sitting in a draught all day, I'm going to light the fire in a minute and hope I will thaw out, my feet art like ice despite wearing leather boots.

Think I might put some soup in the pressure cooker for tea.

Meantime, I shall light the fire and put my feet up.

Evening ladies - well what a fabulous day we all had - Mum was blown away when she saw all the grandchildren and great children - cousins - neices nephews - it was fantastic - no oroblens with the food not getting cooked today - don't think I will live down my Wednesday disaster for a year or two
My Dad had some very special bagpipes which my Mum gave to a very talented young girl - she came out to Whirinaki Beach where my brother lives and played for my Mum - very emotionsl for all if us to see Dads pipes being played and so good to see a young talented girl having the very best to play -
Mum has decided she likes the sound of 105
Feet up and a round of two of my blanket - the young ones won't be home for an hour or two I think - we made an online montage of photos - the earliest was aged 2 - all the kids were amused to see how similiar they look to old aunties and uncles

I've lost the phone number of the wool shop and the number on the bag the last lot of angora was in is just going pip pip pip so no phone call ordering for me. Oh what a shame I have to call in and place the order lol... saw lovely possum/merino mix there last time for a reasonable price.

I started a cross stitch yesterday then thought no, wrong colour fabric so that will have to wait until we are in Tauranga next. So I flicked through Ravelry for inspiration and came across a doily thing crocheted in cotton. It will do for on a little round wooden table that gets a lot of sun and tide me over until the angora arrives.

Morning everyone,

So pleased you had a lovely borthday celebration Gerry. I too love the bag pipes. Always wanted to learn to play them. There used to be a man in Mangakino that would go and play them on a church corner for funerals. Didnt matter if he knew them or not. He would play them until everyone went indoors.

Happy to say Im slowly on the mend. Pain at 6 - 7 now. Ive been doing some little exercises and they are helping.

Did some crochet yesterday but the 400 gram ball of wool turned into a massive birds nest. So spent 2.5 hours undoing alot of it last night, still have a bit to do. I should have and in the future will rewind those large balls before I start using them.

The Sun is out, we can hear kids playing, soo nice to hear them outside playing.

Think I had better have a "finishing off" session soon as getting a little pile of things which just need sewing up and ends sewn in before blocking, also the bands on the vest and jacket. Trouble is you need to concentrate on doing this and I've a couple of books that need reading too lol.

morning ladies :) lol jayemtoo, I'm watching a Swedish series on Lightbox and need to read the subtitles so knitting/crocheting has been slowed right down!

The outside windows are on my agenda today depending on the weather and the garden needs weeding. I have daffs out flowering so spring is definably arriving. The birds are starting to be more active too and the waxeyes are back.

MrK is still building the bookcase, he has stuffed his shoulder so it's a slow process. But it will look good when done and I can't wait to take our books out of the boxes and put them on shelves again. He also wants to build a stool for me to step up onto to reach the top shelf. We'll have a shelf at 'Maddy & Michael level' for their picture books so it will be easy for them.

I'm still crocheting this doily, had a couple of false starts as the pattern didn't make sense for a while.

Morning ladies, yes it is certainly looking like a lovely day today.

Op shop this morning, then hopefully I can do some weeding this afternoon, and the weeds in the "side driveway" need spraying. I was chatting to Paul yesterday about the possibility of repairing my broken bird bath and he said to glue it back together with epoxy glue. I have some, but haven't checked whether there is any in the workshop or whether it's all out on the boat. If I don't have any here at home then I will have to row out to the boat for it. It's overdue for me to check on it but the weather just hasn't been suitable. It would be perfect today but I can't go because I'm working, so maybe tomorrow morning.

I had better crack on and have breakfast and get ready for work.

Good Morning Laddies,another Spring like day in Napier. Spend most of the weekend in flower and veggie gardens. Now have ground ready to either sow seeds or plant some veggies Have patches around the sections with heaps of daffs out for the last couple of weeks along with snowdrops and early cheers.

Saturday morning was taken up at the hospital as Mr S had his MIR.
Off out to lunch with a group of ladies today. It's been so long since I been out with them. Yes,I have been looking forward to it.

Popeye,thanks for telling me about been agent for Mr S. I set it up on my last visit to WINZ and need to go again this Wed.
Love how the grey worked for you in the bedroom kiwimade.
Going to visit the man shed over in the park now they have reopened to see if they can do a couple of small wood work jobs for me.
Slowly getting my own tool kit together again thanks to my brother advice and help. Was a builder all his life and now has Parkinson.

Morning everyone,

We have wild wind and rain. Had alot of thunder and lightening last night too. Love a good thunder storm.

Everyone is busy busy, hope you all get what your need to get done, done.

Im still a mess painwise.. Well and truely over this lot.

Was talking to MrP this morning.. Cos I really want to get into a couple of the big corner cupboards in the kitchen to sort out my china and plastics. It remined me fo when I was a kid. Mum and my grandmother used to cater for weddings etc.
Often the whole family would get together at my grandparents on the weekend. And I loved nothing better than to be sitting in the back porch where the pantry of the china, cutlery etc was stored for the weddings. I would sit there for hours sorting the plates into the same colours, pairing up the salt and pepper shakers etc.

It no wonder I love playing in the china cupboard even now lol.. And yes Ive done a fair bit of catering myself lol.

Got the wool sorted yesterday and did about 4 rounds.. Taking a bit longer to do now.. I think I have 2 3 colour blocks and a couple more rounds to do then its done. Although Im hoping Ill have enough of the dark purple to do a round or two on the edge.

morning ladies :) nothing wrong with rambling popeye lol. Good to hear MrS has had his MRI sunflowers, you can tick that off your 'to-do' list. I'm MrK's agent at WINZ as he hates dealing with them. Seems to work for us.

I cleaned the windows inside and out yesterday and paid for it with a swollen ankle in the afternoon. Oh well, at least when I put it up I could see out clean windows!

The Fluffy One has arrived for her 10 day visit while my sister is away. The Furry One is one happy dog lol.

It would seem Dad will be coming home from Aussie pretty soon after my sister gets home so I had better go and weed his garden for him. I need to spray the moss too so there is less chance of him slipping over. Will do that soon so it has a chance to die off before he comes home.

I'm having lunch with a friend today so will order my angora while out and about. I need to buy a door stop of all things as well for the bedroom. Thanks for the kind words about all the grey sunflowers, I now have the right sized yellow coverlet so that should warm the room up too. I love neutral colours as it is so easy to change a 'look'. Book case is slowly but steadily being built, the wet weather isn't helping as both MrK and I need to get on with painting.

I hate to imagine what MrP would be like at Winz now. He can be incredibly rude. Probably get himself kicked out, if I had him with me.

I now have the two blocks of 3 colours to go. Pleased with the process Ive made, cos I find it hard to concetrate when sore.

Im going to the dr this morning.. It needs to be investigated, xrays and maybe an MRI. And I also was Charlie looked at too (My henria above my belly button). Cos hes growing, not sore at all but better to be in the system. I felt it tear, but thankfully it doesnt hurt.

Hope the furry and fluffy ones enjoy their time together..

Morning ladies, a bit cool this morning, but going to be a beautiful day. I'm just back from a long walk (6.2km according to the gps on my phone - which is almost 4 miles) and what a stunning morning along the waterfront:

Going to have some breakfast and then do the weeding that I couldn't do yesterday as one of the ladies at the op shop failed to show up, so I went back and did the afternoon shift too.

I should be rowing out to the boat today, as the conditions are near perfect, but I have to go into town to post a couple of parcels and this afternoon is my usual mah jong so the boat will have to wait. There will be another suitable day soon (I hope).

Well there is now another generation in our family - but because the baby is 11 weeks early and not quite 3Lbs - holding off on the celebrations - lovely young couple - they have been waiting for this baby a long time -
Will quickly knit up some prem clothes - won't promise a doll

Lovely photo kuaka, we certainly are lucky to live in NZ that's for sure.

I've ordered some more angora and fingers crossed it will arrive Friday as she may be able to get some in from another shop branch. Otherwise I just have to wait until the order is filled by the company. No hurry but I would like to have it finished.

The dogs are having their morning romp and chasing each other round and round and round....

Today I have a few bills to pay and some vegies to buy. I need more paint sealant too so will get that as well. Then I'll do a bit more crochet.

How lovely Gerry, tiny clothes are quick to knit perhaps the doll will be a first birthday present instead.

Agree Kuaka we have a beautiful country and so fortunate that country and beaches are so close.

Nearly finished the green cardy and now impatient to start the brown one. Have found a pattern with cables but don't want another cardy as such so hope to be able to adapt it to a front opening jersey, looks pretty straight forward.

Have a delivery to local pet shop then will go get nice and dirty at the factory.

Morning ladies, another stunning day here, but still a bit cool for my liking, although I'm sure it will warm up soon.

Congratulations gerry on the new baby, how exciting. I hope everything goes well, it's marvellous how these tiny babies thrive these days.

Out to knit and natter this morning but because the cafe is still closed for renovations we're holding it privately at each others houses/apartments.

This afternoon I really must do some gardening and if it's not windy I will spray the weeds, but that will depend on the weather, otherwise I will try to do it first thing tomorrow.

I have a builder organised to come and put in some new shelves in my pantry so between now and the end of next week I have to empty the pantry (that won't be a five minute job) remove the existing shelves before they collapse, sand and paint the ceiling and walls and then once the shelves are cut to size, I will paint them and then the builder will fit them. Can't wait. They needed replacing when we bought the house nearly 11 years ago. I think I've been quite patient really.

But meantime I'd better have some breakfast.

Morning everyone,

A busy lots we all are.. My plans are to re-instate the cordless phone that Spark thought must have been the trouble on our phone line, but funny enough after the idiot cut the cable somewhere in town, the phone has been ringing normally. So Ill try the cordless and see if it is working properly.

Washing to do, MrP scratched his legs and bled very well, so have some sheets etc to do.. I told him off, cos he knows hes doing it, and I dont have the back to be making the bed everyday.

Ive done bloods, got pills, and have to have an xray. Plus some physio, but I just cant see how to stretch the budget on that so I will look for exercises online, like I did with my foot and knee.

And shes putting me into the system to get Charlie evicted (hernia).. Apparently the wait time for an appointment is about 6 months, I thought it would be longer.

Well I won't be spraying the weeds 'cos I can't find the weedkiller and as far as I know I can't buy it here (unless Countdown have it - but I usually use the el cheapo stuff from the Warehouse and it works fine). Have to go to Whangarei at the end of the month so will get some then. I'll put it on my list now though so I don't forget.

Morning all beautiful blue sky day - family all left to go back to Dunedin so it's just me and the dog again - lovely having them here - my daughter in law must have had them all out of bed before dawn as all the sheets are on the line nearly dry already
Baby is fighting so that's good - my Mum of course thought they shouldn't have come up for her birthday but at 6 months pregnant lady taking a 2 hour car trip isn't really a risk

morning ladies :) Popeye, have you tried yoga? You only push yourself until it begins to hurt then back away. And the stretches make you feel great! I don't have half the back problems anymore since beginning 10 weeks or so ago. And oh boy, do I sleep after a session!

We need a fine couple of days as I need to prepare the dressing table for painting and then paint it and MrK needs to paint the bookcase shelves and sides. It's a damed slow process putting this book case up because of his shoulder and the wet weather not allowing him to work outside.

The builder comes next week to finish the porch MrK said he would finish two years ago. He had to come to the decision he couldn't do it himself but it wouldn't be costing us half as much if we had let the builders finish it when they built the framework! Men eh!

Still crocheting this doily, I feel all fingers and thumbs after knitting 12 ply angora but so far it looks like the picture so I must be doing it right.

I like the idea of yoga Kiwimade might try it as an alternative at some stage. At the moment I do deep water aquarobics - wear a flotation belt so don't sink - and like you find it great for back and joints. It is low impact but seems to help the supporting muscles and sure notice it if miss too many sessions.

Liking the way the brown jersey is coming along. Funny how something seems to grow quicker if doing a cable or bit of a pattern.

Need to clean windows, with the wind and pollen around I'm quickly losing sight of the outside world!
Time to get moving.

Morning everyone.
I found some stretches and stuff to do yesterday. And did them last night and this morning.. A bit sore but it does feel good too. There was talk about Yoga classes here. Ill see how I go. The biggest problem is if I get on the floor I wont be able to get up. I did them on my bed, so I dont have to worry about being stuck on the floor lol.

Off to do the xrays this morning.. Also turns out Im very low on iron and B12, so I have to go get a script for those tomorrow then make an appointment to have the shots.. very weird that I have to get the shots from the chmist then take them to the med centre to have them done lol.. Many have told me they do them in the butt, so Im pleased about that.
Going to our old fruit shop too and see if they have cheaper Kumara.

Yep Kiwimade, takes them forever to admit that they need help...

Morning ladies, not quite such a nice morning, overcast but every day above ground is a good day!

No real plans for today. I sent the builder a message yesterday and asked if we were still on to do the pantry shelves next week and no reply. I don't want to haul everything out and have it scattered all round the kitchen/dining/office so that I can paint the pantry and then find he can't come for two or three weeks. I'd go bonkers.

Agree about sometimes not making the right decision. If Mr K had admitted 10 or 12 years ago that we no longer needed the boat, I'd be in a far better financial position, not only would it have been easier to sell and we would have got a good price for it, it costs quite a bit of money each year for insurance, maintenance and mooring fees and upkeep. Grrrr. Now I'm trying to sell it for half the price we could have got 10 years ago and it's still not selling. I will end up practically giving it away - but I will be glad to see it gone.

Got an order yesterday for a tea cosy so am working on that.

Might go and see if I can get weedkiller at Countdown and call in at the tyre place opposite and see what a new set of tyres is going to set me back. I don't need them just yet, but it won't be long and I like to know in advance how much it will be.

morning ladies :) Our daughter does water aerobics too jayemtoo, she loves it!

Today I'm weeding dad's garden for him so it's nice for when he comes home. I want to spray the moss too so it will be safer for him. So no knitting until this evening, I picked up the angora wool yesterday so am good to go. Only have two rows left to do on this doily so will finish that first.
