Thanks for your help ladies. I will undo front and backs and put a strip of cream through it to make it . But Thought I would just ask, you never know who might have some.. Dash cold here today. So keeping busy today Cleaned the car and the washing done. Now some time for me. Yay before Hubby comes home from work.

morning ladies :) Cream stripes sound lovely palmycritter, sometimes we just have to be creative!

We have a frost this morning, one of the better ones this time.

My turn to clean the car today, although in saying that for $2 I can use the car wash vacuum cleaner in town for three minutes. I can do the whole interior if I blat round quickly and saves me dragging my vacuum outside and hooking up extension cords. I can do that when in town next. Whenever I visit friends, their wee dog likes a 'ride' in our car up the drive. I don't mind as I know where she is then too. But I have muddy paw prints to clean off the seats and middle console. Easy to do once the mud has dried.

Will do some knitting this afternoon.

happy knitting :)

Morning
I do the same Kiwimade when have little ones visiting if I have to back the car out of the garage I put them in the car so I know exactly where they are. This is the only time they can sit in the front seat beside the driver and don't they feel important lol.

Another nice day coming up. Have done one load of washing - well the machine has - so better get it out and next load in.

Wanting to finish the hoodie I'm knitting so it can go to Auckland on Friday, have done fronts and back so will have to push it along a bit today.

Afternoon ladies, just home from "the bunny club" lunch (that's the local widows group). We went to the Indian/Thai restaurant but at lunchtime they only do Thai. Mine was very nice but I ordered "medium" heat, and it was burning my mouth. The lady opposite me ordered "hot" because she said medium had no heat at all, and she struggled to eat hers. I brought home a doggie bag as there was far too much - very nice but too much - at least I won't have to cook tonight.

The light bulb has just blown in the bedroom. I tried a new one but it kept flashing like a strobe, so not knowing if it was a faulty bulb or not, I took one out of the lounge, and it flashes also, and there's a horrible hissing/crackling noise coming from the light switch so I guess I'll have to get the electrician in. Bugger! It's the sort of thing Mr K or Paul would fix in a flash, but I'm not even going to consider it. Hopefully it won't be too expensive.

Have a super afternoon everyone.

snap! Kuaka lol... we have the electrician here at the moment replacing the bit that hangs from the ceiling and you hook the light bulb into. I went to replace the bulb in the laundry and the whole thing crumbled in my hand. MrK tried to fix it but at the first swear word I called the electrician lol.

Kiwimade, I'm just hoping that the problem is just inside the switch and easily fixed, I hope he doesn't say half the house needs re-wiring (although if I could afford it, I would get some of it rewired - especially I would like a two-way switch at the top and bottom of the stairs - but that will have to wait till I'm a bit more affluent - if I ever am).

Monring everyone. Lovely day out there.

6pmish on tuesday night I ended up calling theAmbulance, my shoulder pain mived across my chest making it very hard to breathe and wasnt sure if it was my heart or what.
Great service, but both areas i were in didnt have showers, which I found odd.
Home last night and finally had a good sleep. Missy never left my side.

So a very quiet few days for me, and my friend suggested I didnt drive, which is something I hadnt thought about. but shes right. Cos if I did the shopping alone Id have had to lift the bags. So she will take me shopping on saturday when she does hers.

MrP and I are cloning ourselves. Last year I felt like my muscle had ripped to the left of my belly button. So at 3 am when i was talking to a Polish dr he asked did I have anything else I was worried about. And he confirmed I have a hernia too lol.. I dont have any pain tho.

So a nice few quiet days for me now.

Have a fab day everyone

Popeye take care of yourself - anything around the chest is frightening so you certainly did the right thing
Freezing wind here today - will wait until around mid day to see if I will venture out
Any work on wiring is so expensive often because the basic call out fee is more than the cost of the actual work - the wiring of a new house is a very small percentage of the cost
Not sure what is on the agenda today - probably not a lot - not a very good nights sleep last night

Morning ladies, well I didn't sleep very well last night either, well I slept for a while in the chair, and when I went to bed I slept for a while, but I woke at 1am and then just dozed after that, so this morning I feel like a piece of chewed string.

Got to go to town later to post a package, so will do it this afternoon then I can see whether there's any veg worth buying at the farmer's market. Planning on going for a walk again with the neighbour at 4.30 but she works at the op shop this afternoon so I will walk down and meet her there when she finishes work.

Have a pair of walking trousers (skin tight things) to shorten so I can wear them today, and I might shift some firewood today. Other than that, sit and knit I think.

Popeye, you look after yourself. It's all very well looking after Mr P but you need to look after you as well, take care.

Have a super day everyone.

Afternoon
Be careful Popeye and get better quickly, yes probably not wise to drive so good that your fmriend can take you shopping.

Took BiL to his Drs appointment this am and went to get buttons for the hoodie while he was there, nearly finished it. We then went to Hastings to do a couple of messages. I decided to take a "short cut" home and we ended up driving around a lot of back roads through orchard country - took about twice as long as usual lol.

Went to little vegetable place I haven't been to for quite a while and got some lovely fresh verges. They had caulis for about half the price of in the supermarket so decided to buy one although not very big, was just going to buy it when a worker brought in a trolley of just picked ones so I quickly changed my little one for a big beauty straight from the garden.

Then came home and had a good time hacking bushes back in the garden.
Feel like I've accomplished quite a bit today. Will finish the hoodie this evening.

evening ladies :) Hope you are feeling better this evening popeye, you did exactly the right thing calling the ambos.

Been in the classroom today with the littlies so pretty full on. Tomorrow, back with 'my' class.

We told the electrician there was no hurry and if passing to call in and fix the light for us so we will be sharing the travel cost with someone else.

No knitting today, just too tired.

Well what an eventful day it has been - stopped to get mail out of letterbox - left the car in drive - still can't believe I did it - maybe because I had very little sleep - anyway we have a very narrow drive with a high fence thankfully with the posts on our side of the fence - so as the car started to move slowly forward I tried to get back in but couldn't so tried to reach for the keys and ended up getting sandwiched between the open door and thr fence - luckily the car ran into one of the posts and stopped I was in a blind panic as I could hardly get a breath - couldn't turn the car off but couldn't fit back in the gap to get the keys out - by the time I got myself inside - as usual my cell phone was not in the car a half an hour had passed thank goodness I wasn't squashed I would probably be still out there - my long suffering son came round and sorted everything out - am very very sore just as well I have plenty of padding around the rib area! Had visions of my car keeping on going and ending up in the neighbours lounge ! Might not get much sleep tonight doctor gave me tramadol so that should help

12113

morning ladies :) omg Gerry! What a thing to happen. Hope you managed to get some sleep and are feeling better in yourself this morning.

Back to school today, was a very eventful day yesterday, hopefully today will be a tad calmer.

Happy knitting :)

Oh dear Gerry that would have been a stressful time, good that you managed to extricate yourself and hope you not too sore now.

Off out to factory soon - it's a lovely day. Have to deliver hoodie to sister first so she can take it to Auckland, it turned out well despite being a bit rushed.

Enjoy your teaching day Kiwimade and do take care everybody ????

jayemtoo - 2017-06-09 08:37:00
12115

Morning ladies, oh Gerry, you poor thing. Word of advice - be very very careful with the tramadol - they are very addictive. Doctor gave mr k tramadol for the pain when he had shingles and he was quickly hooked and needing to take more and more and then when he realised what was happening he stopped taking them and had terrible withdrawl symptoms, including the shakes. It was awful, so please take care.

I actually did a bit of gardening yesterday, pulled out the remains of the dwarf beans, the capsicums and a couple of pumpkins which had popped up when I put compost on the garden, and we're taking over but not producing, then I pulled some weeds. The ground was freezing, my poor fingers soon went numb.

Two more packages of wool yesterday, that's four so far, it is quite exciting. I think what I've received so far will make lovely baby blankets, one in pure wool double knit and one in acrylic 4 ply, be interesting to see what else turns up.

Going to a friends for lunch today, and may be going to the club tonight with another friend - possibly having tea there. Yesterday I nipped to countdown, I just wanted a couple of courgettes, they had them pre-packed on polystyrene trays and wrapped in glad wrap. Why? It is so unnecessary. What is wrong with just selling them loose by the kilo. I didn't buy any.

Going to sit and do a few rows of knitting then have some breakfast. Plan to out a curtain up at the little window on the mezzanine floor in the billiard room. I've found the track I bought to put there and had forgotten about and I've got a pair of curtains which I bought for my sons spare bedroom but weren't big enough, so they will do - I ironed them yesterday and charged the cordless drill. Shouldn't take me long.

Have a super day everyone.

Good Morning Ladies, pleased to hear you are feeling better Popeye take care. Gerry hope you got some sleep last night and you are able to enjoy today as it's l starting off to be a lovely sunny day.The last couple of days has had been chilly.Enjoy your trip to Auckland Jayemtoo.
I had to get our electrician out this week and the plumber.

Cut my work hours back over the last couple of weeks as Mr S has not been well Getting up during the night to him three to four times in a night made the days very long sometimes.
Mr S goes into respite for a week today, so hopefully, I can get the place tidy and rest. I 've missed the kids. They have stopped to chat when I have been outside on their way home.
Kiwimade so pleased you are enjoying your time back in the classroom.

Not a lot happen with my knitting, so helpfully pick it up over the w/end.
Enjoy your day ladies. Happy knitting.

Morning everyone

Wow that would have been scary Gerry.. Be gentle with yourself today.

The shoulder is still sore, Oh to be able to take a deep breathe, but that will come. Sleeping very well which is good and bad cos Boy am I creaky in the back.
One thing the drs told me was to not help pulling MrP up so he can get out of bed. So Im going to use some of the webbing we got for the chairs and make him a pull strap like they use in the hospital in the heart ward. Will probably make two and it will be easier when my back locks too.

Our stand in house lady is due today. Normally I would pick everything up off the floor to make her job easier, but I wont be today.

Have fun at school Kiwimade. Kuaka its fun re the wool eh. I had some arrive yesterday from a swap I did.

Right need to check FB.

Have a fab day everyone and stay safe

Morning all - feeling sore and sorry for myself but didn't take the tramadol Kuaka - my old boy had a problem with them as well so will stick with the panadol - still bewildered at my being so stupid
Beautiful day here one very sulky looking dog waiting for his walk that won't be happening
Sunflower the respite care will give you a chance to recharge your batteries
My brothers on his way in with something nice for my lunch so better get myself decent - he has a wicked sense of humour and is very creative with food so no doubt it will have a senior moment theme

Gerry if it helps I found out this morning that my sister in law had a fall on Tuesday. They were at the supermarket and had opened the car door, but were putting groceries in the boot. And were talking to a church friend. Another car came along and want to park in the park that they had the car door open on.
Sister in law went to close it and tripped over their towbar which sticks out far too long and she hit the ground with her head. and of course has a impresive bruise on her leg.
She is also on warfarin but didnt bleed too much. So is feeling rather sore and bruised. She is 66 in August.

Have had a quiet morning and have been behaving lol

12121

Yes Popeye sorry to hear about your SIL but at least I am not the only one in the wars - was just thinking I did it once before years and years ago - the kids had left the gate open and our dogs had got out - was lambing time so I got in a panic and went in my husbands company car which wasn't insured for me to drive it - I saw the dogs did the same thing - left it in drive and it rolled into a deep drain but I was well clear - can still remember the explosion when I told Philip where his beautiful new car had ended up - he must have been smiling when he heard Robie promising him he would look after me - bet he was thinking good luck!

gerry64 - 2017-06-09 12:37:00
12122

morning ladies :) The fog has just gotten thicker over the last couple of minutes, I hope it doesn't stay around for long today. I could see across the road a minute ago and now it's a white wall.

I've done stupid things too Gerry. I put the hot ashes from the fire onto the compost bin. I burnt the bins down, was lucky I was home and spotted the smoke and the bins were well away from buildings. Spent most of the day with a hose in my hand wetting everything down. It smoldered rather than flamed. Then I had to explain to MrK what I had done. I don't know what I was thinking, I thought they were cool enough but there must have been one ember not quite cold.

I have a bit to catch up on at home today and will have a trip into town at some stage. Should have done what I needed to in town after school but just couldn't be bothered. Couldn't even be bothered cooking dinner and nor could MrK so we had Turkish takeaways for dinner. So good!

Better get moving or nothing will get done.

Happy knitting :)

Morning ladies, well I had a very pleasant lunch yesterday at my friends, but the other friend I was supposed to go to the club with sent a message to say she'd been sick all week and didn't feel like going, so I went for a walk with the neighbour (who I really should call a friend by now).

I got as far as putting up the curtain track for the curtain on the mezzanine of the billiard room, so this morning I will finally hang the curtain. Not bad, it's only taken me ten and a half years to get that far.

This morning I found the little knitting needle that I thought the chair had gobbled up. So pleased I didn't pull the chair to bits, because it was embedded in the blanket which I'd had on my lap the night I lost the needle, and I didn't notice it when I folded the blanket up and put it on the back of the chair, and I checked it when I couldn't find the needle, but obviously didn't check it well enough. Never mind, now I have a spare short needle.

More lovely yarn arrived yesterday. I'm going to use a lot of it to make a baby blanket, not sure if I will knit it or crochet it. See how much more suitable yarn I receive.

The camera on my phone seems to have decided it doesn't want to "flash" - not sure why. I will have to do some research. I can't find anything in settings. So frustrating.

Have a super day everyone.

kuaka - 2017-06-10 09:19:00
12124

Well that didn't take long, somehow the settings had changed themselves - I know I didn't change them as I didn't even know where they were. So flash now works again.

Good Morning Ladies, you have the good Waikato Fog this morning kiwimade. Yes, I walked or biked many a time in them when I lived in Morrinsville.

Took Mr S into Respite yesterday afternoon. Had problems with our landline phone yesterday. Finally got sorted last evening. Slept like a log and feeling brighter today. Washing out and another load in the machine. It's overcast today so hope to get it dry.

Gerry, kiwimade and others I am sure we all have done stupid things over the years. One everyone laughs at is the time I phoned hubby at work to come and get me. Asked me where I was and all I could say, I was in a phone box and a very large dog jumping up and down outside. Took some time for me to read off the notice board in the phone box. Then asked if I expected him to come and pick me up. He was in Penrose, South Auckland and I was in between Green Bay and New Lynn, West Auckland.
I made it on my own to the hairdressers that day and home again.

Gerry and Popeye's SIL, hope both of you are feeling a lot better today.

Well, ladies I better finish my b/fast and get dressed or I may be the talk of the street if my lawnmower/handyman turns up with our firewood and I'm, not dressed.
Happy Knitting Ladies.

Hope you get plenty of rest and are able to relax a bit during your respite week - it's important
Son down south just sent me a copy of an article from the Otago paper of his new mill project - his father would be so proud he managed the mill for the same company here in Napier - was just thinking isn't the internet wonderful he shared this mornings paper with me and I can just press a button and share it with whoever -

I have the ground all prepared for my two new roses, can't be far off from the garden centre phoning to say they are there.

I knitted for a bit last night, this yak yarn is very easy to knit with. Might try a thicker ply next time and see how that works out.

Hope everyone is unwell is feeling brighter today.

Morning
Beautiful day out there but a bit cold yet to really get going. Have had a busy couple of days as BiL hasn't been well so I've been pottering out to the factory in the mornings then on to garden, shopping and generall "mucking around" in the afternoons. It's good to be able to keep going.

Have dug out my bits and pieces of wool to see how much I can use up before starting another definite project but have made a list of what I would like to knit so think I'll be starting socks soon as have at least 6 lots of sock wool waiting and 2 more waiting to be dyed.

Enjoy your day Everyone and look after yourselves.

Good Morning Ladies, Yes there is a chill in the air which will move on now the sun is out.
Received my load of firewood last night. It was two fruit bins loads. They had sorted it so that I don't have to chop any of it up for a fireplace. So good to have a fire going.
No knitting yesterday as I clean up around inside, give me another day and I will have it how it should be. Hopefully, then I will relax and enjoy doing some crafting.
Hope everyone is not so sore today and will mend quickly.
As it's warm and sunny outside I'm off to attack the vine, picked the last of fruit off it yesterday.
Enjoy your day.

Morning everyone.. A beaultiful Day.. Yayay

I am feeling very well this morning. Only a slight niggle in the shoulder. So Im not going to take the fast acting drug this morning.. I only had two doses of it yesterday.
Breathing is soo much better now. And of course the pay of of the slow acting ones is my back feels good too.

I wont overdo it tho. I have a pile of washing to fold. But will be careful of the shoulder.

Erin is coming around at some stage so Ill find out what it is she wants me to make. And make a start. Hopefully I have colours she likes.

When I was in hospital they gave me porridge for breakfast. Havent had porridge for Soo long.. So yesterday I got some harraways oat singles, berry mix... Sooo yummy. Probably will alter my sugars.. I cant see them hurting my INR. So Erin is getting me some more on the way up..since they are on special.

Morning
Good brisk frost start to another beautiful day by the looks of it.
Had a very relaxing day yesterday ready to get going again today.

Finishing off a patchwork blanket I found to use up more scraps of wool, it's a bit tedious but the odd bits of wool box is getting less.

jayemtoo - 2017-06-12 07:46:00
12137

Morning ladies, I had a busy day yesterday, went for a 7km walk with friends. Vacuumed the floors, finally hung the curtains that I've been trying to do for days, then I shifted some firewood (only 3 pieces left in the carport and they are too big for me to lift - they will need someone strong or splitting where they are). The rest of the stuff I shifted needs splitting but I was sick of not being able to get the car right into the carport. Now I can.

Then I attempted some paperwork, but gave up. Will need to make a phone call as I have a query on it, before I can complete it.

Op shop this morning. The friend that I usually work with messaged that she's got a sore throat and won't be coming in, so I don't know who I'll be working with. She also said "don't forget you'll have to drive in" - her husband usually picks me up at the top of the road and gives me a lift, and then picks us up when we finish and drops me off. I hope she didn't really think I was silly enough to wait for a lift when she's not going in!

Better get myself cracking. I want to go in a bit early so I can check my mailbox before I start and see if there are any more squishy packages for me.

Have a super day everyone.

Morning all - absolute bliss have had 8 hours unbroken sleep wonderful - and the day is stunning so the mood is definitely upbeat maybe dolly might get some attention - can see frost on the neighbours roof - not sure the little boys next door have warm jackets - it's hard not to interfere but I am sure the Mum must be entitled to more help than she is getting - she is a brilliant mum but certainly is struggling

Morning everyone
We have Mizzle today, I thought it was foggy until I karchered the windows and found a slightly pink sun.

Had an awesome day yesterday. Erin came and we had a lovely afternoon yakking, and Im going to make blankets for her sons. One being the Batman one that I have the graph for. And even tho theres alot of black Im looking forward to doing it. Im going to see if I can get the wool cheaper for her on here, otherwise she will buy it here in town.

Pain is still gone. MrP is chasing me and making sure I dont sneak anything in that I shouldnt be. I have two baskets of clothes to put away but he is going to put them on the beds so I dont have to lift them.
I used to be very physically strong, but over the years have lost it all now.

Have a wonderful day everyone

Morning Everyone, White lawn and roofs when I finally got up. Was awake at 4 am and dropped back off to sleep for couple more hours.

Gerry see if you can take the mother to the Sallie shop and the other couple of op shops in the same street. She may not have transport or money for petrol to get into the shops. We have kids arrive bare feet on morning like today.
Had to do a trip to the Rest Home yesterday to drop some things off for Mr S that he rang and asked for. Boy was it hot in there, Room heater on full.

Spend sometime bring wood closer to the house.Enjoy having a fire. Did some paperwork that should have been done and cleared away.
Time for me to move as I am off out to lunch today and still need to finish a couple of jobs.
No knitting for me till this evening.
Enjoy your day.

having a cuppa before I organize lunch, mrK has some soup out of the freezer for us. I'm also expecting a friend to arrive shortly, she wants MrK to make her a wooden box.

Gerry, have you thought of the Kids Canz (think that's how it is spelt), the group that makes sandwiches and so on for kids with no lunch. They also have raincoats and shoes, maybe a quiet word in their ear? They may be able to help.

Better get moving, if I sit down I know I will nod off lol.

I was trying to think of Kids Canz Kiwimade.. Im sure they will help.

Ive put all the washing away and measured a piece of fabric for a skirt. Will be an easy sew.

And generally tried to stay out of MrPs way. He leaves the dishes too long and then has a hugue pile to do. Which takes him ages so he gets sore...
They are done now tho.

He brought the recycle bin back in and has said there is a big hornets nest on the corner of the house.. Im trying to think how we got rid of them when we were kids, but its soo long ago I cant remember.. Google will help or I will get the bee man in. I havent seen hornetts since I was a kid.

Time for a play

Afternoon -when the kids started coming over to visit me I went over and asked her before I gave the kids some school lunch stuff I brought home out of the damaged packaging stuff if it was OK - my son mixed in some pantry stuff I told her the food bank won't take it - told her I use it so she was welcome to share - she doesn't find it easy taking help - but Robie gets a box of stuff every week now for me to give the kids who tell me Mum keeps opening the pantry and saying look at all our food - so that's good -on the weekend she let the kids come over when my grandchildren were here and my grandson had just got new rugby boots so gave his old ones to the biggest boy so now my daughter in law is sorting some stuff out for them - maybe if we present it as Corban wanting to share she might find it easy - the night the football boots went over she came over after everybody had gone with a lovely little apple crumble for me - she is a very proud lady - I don't ask the kids anything but they have said they had to leave all their stuff behind and Dad can't know where they are - my grandkids see their mum and dad being very generous because they can so it's nice their kids are seeing how much such a little gift like a pair of rugby boots can mean - it is so refreshing to meet these kids who have beautiful manners and don't swear and who care so much about their Mum - hopefully she will find it a bit easier as time goes on to get help - the kids are not at all neglected

aww Gerry, good on you. And I remember trying to find home for son's old soccer/hockey boots when he had grown out of them. Whoever they went to was always pleased to have them. And we also were given the odd thing friend's kids had outgrown. It's just common sense. And it's good for our kids to learn about 'passing on' or 'upcycling' I think it's called now. They sound like lovely kids. I have a family member who was in a similar position where dad couldn't know where they were, it's tough going.

I've done a bit of knitting this afternoon but I suspect it will be an early night for me tonight.

Soo pleased you have managed to gift some stuff to your Neighbour Gerry. And I bet those rugby boots will be cleaned after the games and well taken care of.
We lived in a small village which had alot of people below the povertyline. But strangley theree was Always piles of clothes thrown out at the tip.. I used to bring it home, wash it, replace buttons etc . And would then take it to school for the kids to choose what they would like.
A few times we were told they had taken ome their own clothes, but cos there was a button missing or a seam torn etc they got thrown out.

You can tell I hate waste of any kind

Morning all - it's 14 deg already - blowing like mad so going to be a good day for the sheets to dry
Yes Popeye I hate waste - my grandson popped in after school yesterday and went over and told the mum he has some old practice jerseys and stuff in a box his mum has been saving in case he ever has a boy cousin - which is true but he is the only boy on both sides - he said the mum was in his words cool with it - so we will let him take the stuff over to the kids - she is such a proud woman we will let the kids do it between themselves - the kids will be over the moon - I hope she will get more comfortable with accepting help because her pride really can't come before her kids
Better get cracking and get the washing out

Morning ladies, I have to meet a JP at the doctors this morning! The usual JP (the chemist) is away, the other one I use is also away, and this particular one lives out of town so when I phoned him and asked if he could witness my signature on a document he suggested I meet him at the doctor as he has an appointment there this morning. I thought to myself - this can only happen in small towns like this. I have no idea what he looks like so could be interesting.

My off-sider is not going to be at mah jong again today so it means I have to get there a bit early to collect the money. Not to worry. I always enjoy playing.

It looks like being a stunning day but it is a bit cool. Maybe when I get home from the doctors I will do a bit of gardening.

I had a visit from the electrician yesterday afternoon. He soon fixed the light in the bedroom, the wiring was loose in the switch on the wall. That took all of about five minutes, so he asked was there anything else needed doing and I said no. Then I asked if he could look at the two way switch on the stairs which doesn't work as a two way. It needed a new switch, so he did that, so now it works properly. Then I said there's a switch here (pointing at one) and I said it's never worked and I have no idea what it's for. Turns out it's a two-way switch so that you can switch the light on in the doorway of the main bedroom and it switches a light on in the doorway of the lounge/family room so you don't have to grope around in the dark to get to the kitchen. All it needed was a new bulb, and he had to break the old one to remove it. I thought - omg - ten and a half years I've been here and never knew what it was for. The amount of times Mr K used to get up in the night and curse because he couldn't see to get to the kitchen to get baking soda if he had indigestion, and all it needed was a new light bulb. Good grief!

Anyway, better get myself ready to go and meet this JP.

Have a super day everyone.

Morning everyone

Ohh Kuaka you did make me giggle. Did MrK never think of using a torch? lol.
Its wet here this morning, but hopefully the lawn guys will get a 10 minute break in the weather, cos thats all it takes for them to do it.

Feeling awesome again this morning. A slight sinus but I think thats cos the rain brings the pollen down.

Will sew the Pull rope for MrP this morning.. I hope hes willing to part with a little of his nylon fishing line. That will be the strongest thing we have to sew it with.
Might even get a skirt cut out too.

Have a fab day everyone

Good morning, a lovely sunny day here this morning. Off shortly to Knit'n'Natter will take about 20 mins to walk there. Yes, my doctor will not let me drive at present. Waiting for an appointment at the hospital. Bugger! Will ring after k'n'N.

Not sure how Mr S is as I am doing best not ring or visit. Pick him up this Friday. Everyone told me it's for the best as I need some time out for my self.

Pleased you have been able to help the family Gerry. I'm sure the children will enjoy the football gear. There is a couple of groups I know of that visit the schools and give sports gear out to the kids. Also raincoats/jackets.
Time I made a move.
Enjoy your day everyone
