Morning
A beautiful day here too nice to stay in today. BiL has booked a trip into town and to Hastings as he wants to look around op shops for bits and pieces to make things for his factory. Hope he doesn't get too carried away finding his "treasures", he's like a kid in a candy store if let loose in a 2nd hand shop.

Mmmm figs and blue cheese.
Years ago I was given a dehydrator but only used it a couple of times, seemed to take ages and needed a lot of fruit to make it worthwhile turning on. I found a low oven worked just as well.
But there again it was a long time ago and they are probably more efficient these days.

Morning all - yes there is a definite nip in the air on this beautiful morning - will be a pleasure to head out today with the dog
Started the little pinafore dress for the doll yesterday - doing it in the round to make it a bit more interesting -
I have never used a dehydrator but the sound of the figs and blue cheese sound very yummy -
forgot to say Popeye the onions are lovely
Coffee machine is blinking so better use it before it switches itself off

Morning everyone,
Lovely here this morning. There was fog at 4am, was there any your way Kiwimade, it looked like it from here?

Rather sore this morning, so my plans of doing a bit of weeding is out the window.. The lawn is being done as we speak.

The temp is dropping, I had slippers on yesterday for a couple of hours and even had a hot drink, which is rare for me. I dont drink tea or coffee so have hot chocolate. Mind you I was still sitting there in a strapless dress hahaha.
I think I will be feeling the cold this winter.. I know Missy is already, shes starting to spend time on my knee at night and is like she is attatched at bedtime lol.

Glad you like the onions Gerry..

Yum Figs, Ive never had them dried.. Guess we know what your getting for your soon to be birthday Kiwimade. oh and that reminds me I need to ring the butcher to arrange my friends birthday present.

Have a fab day everyone.. Its lovely now its not soo hot

Just taking a break from housework and helping MrK move his timber into his new lean-too. The Furry One is loving all the activity in the garage as we have disturbed a few mice. He is so quick, they don't stand a chance.

Never thought of getting the dehydrator for my birthday popeye, what a good idea!

Our fig tree is only a year old and we have it growing in a pot to keep it reasonably small. Last year we had one lonely fig which we shared lol... this year we have had over 60 figs.

Better go and see if I have any clean bags left for the vacuum, will be just my luck I don't.

morning ladies :) A cloudy day here and the temperature is certainly chillier in the morning. I have a couple of things to do in town today but I plan to potter outside for a bit. I also want to sketch a corner of the garden with our ideas for finishing it before we hire a landscaper next year. If we have it on paper, we can add or take out different thoughts and we should, in theory anyway lol, come up with something the landscaper can use to add his/her own ideas too.

I'm still knitting away at this scarf, am getting used to single ply. I've dropped stitches and had to find them but overall am happy with it so far.

happy knitting.

Morning
Lawns looking great again as just been mown which they badly needed. Neighbour runs a gardening service so I've got her doing the lawns for me too gives her a bit extra and me a bit of a break from them.

Had a great day poking around the shops yeasterday but hopefully can avoid town for a while now, I'm not a shopaholic by any means preferring to just rush in and get what I need and out again.

Got the eyes for the shark so can finish off the tails. I'm using the left overs making vests and hats for charity and after I used up all the grey realised that the pattern has a dorsal fin on it hope the small boy doesn't mind not having one I just won't mention it and hopefully he won't notice.

Have a great day

Morning - chilly but beautiful sky - not going to be very warm at all today so might have to put on a few extra layers before I go out
Yesterday as we were entering the dog park a young family were coming out - pretty little girls dressed nicely with their hair up in ponytails - I called Ash back to let them come out - and the littlest girl about 5 - told me to get my
f c ( the whole swear words) out of the way - I was stunned - then the Mum let fly at one of the other little girls who was dawdling - so sad to hear / imagine trying to teach the little girl
No progress on the doll yesterday but I did sell some crochet hooks - My so. bought me one of those Furls hooks - read about them on all the blogs but didn't like it - so just asked for offers and a lady has bought it for $40 - I also sold some addi swing hooks went in a blink -I have one 3.5 left I like the clover hooks better -
Cleaner comes this morning so better have a tidy up

Morning ladies, gerry, that is appalling. I don't like to hear anyone use the C word, but from a little girl - terrible.

Bbq here yesterday with the neighbours, I think they all enjoyed it. Paul did the cooking. We had lots of laughs.

No plans for today as yet. Paul went fishing yesterday with Axel and managed to take the house keys so when I came home from knit and natter I was locked out. Luckily my friend up the road has a spare set (from when Mr K was sick and she used to come and sit with him so I could go shopping etc) so I phoned her and her husband brought the keys for me. Paul brought home two snapper so we are having fresh fish for tea.

Might try to get some sewing done today.

Have a super day everyone.

Monring everyone

Just typed heaps and lost it.. grrr lol.

Our lawns were done yesterday, rather a shabby job, so they will be asked to use the normal lawn mower rather than the ride on, it makes such a mess.

Lol gerry at tidying up before the cleaner gets there.. I admit tho I pick up what I can before ours gets her to make it easier to vaccum. Im also going to ask mine to help me put the leccky blanket on my bed. Not an easy job for one.

Shopping this morning.. dont need alot which is good.

Still no crochet.. maybe i should start some squares to get me back into it.

We were tripping down memory lane this morning. Talking about the fun we used to have when kids. Before electronic games and computers arrived. i think my generation had the last of the "free" childhoods.. unless you lived ona farm or something. but townie kids very quickly found no need to be outside playing.

Right better sort myself out. Shopping this morning.

Have a fab day everyone

morning ladies :) Ohh I love those jayemtoo, so snuggly. Can just see kids snuggling down to watch a movie or read a book on a cold winters day.

I had a wee splurge on Love Knitting last evening and an e mail was in my inbox saying the order was on it's way. Awesome service so far. This is the first time I've bought off them. I was inspired by you gerry64, and bought some of the Paintbox yarns to knit a hoodie for our granddaughter. Lovely bright colours! And I splurged and bought some 4 and 2ply to knit shawls. The 4ply is yak fiber so will be interesting to see how that knits up. According to the blurb, there is no pilling and it's lovely and soft. I bought it in a purple to knit up for our daughter as a birthday present. I don't have a yarn stash as such and buy as needed.

I'm off to Cambridge this morning to do some shopping for MrK (could have done it Tuesday while I was there helping dad but MrK never mentioned a thing). Housework, garden and lawn are all done - even the dreaded ironing, so I guess that frees me up to knit.

Happy knitting :)

Morning everyone.
Love knitting are very quick with proccessing their orders Kiwimade.. I got a paintbox yarn in a bulk lot I brought. Havent used it yet but its a yummy orange.
Lol Men, wait till we have a free day to enjoy then tell us they want things up the road.
Im off to take residence at the med centre this morning.. INR Depo and diabetes check.. so theres my morning gone.
Stripped my bed this morning, Im getting our house lady to help me put the electric blanket on.. Not a one person job with a bad back. so that will be a big save for mine.

Still no crochet, Im sure having a break from it.

Have a fab day everyone

Morning all - chilly again Ash is sitting under the air conditioner shivering like a jelly willing it to turn on ! Going to be a lovely sunny day
I see Love Knitting have 20% off this weekend so I shall get over my procrastinating and make a final call on my colours of the sea - I ordered one each of 6 colours - I only need 4 - but wanted to make sure - I ordered late Wednesday night and it was in my letter box the next Wednesday morning - if I order something within NZ often takes longer - and I love the beautiful bags - will be interesting his the yak knits up - went to Peru donkeys years ago I am pretty sure they were knitting yak - not with needles but with little spindle things was fascinating how quick they could cope with multi colours
After having my tidy up cleaner didn't arrive - car problems so will whiz the cleaner around - flick the duster here and there and that will do!

gerry64 - 2017-04-21 10:01:00
11766

Morning ladies, a bit nippy again this morning, but I believe it is going to be nice and warm later.

Paul has gone to Kerikeri with Axel to buy a fishing net so they can set a net to catch snapper. Not sure how successful it will be - time will tell.

I had a call yesterday from a lady wanting me to hem some curtains, and could I please take my sewing machine to her place and do them in situ. Hmmmm, not a fan of doing that. I said I would go and have a look and then decide how to do them, and said it is probably easier for me to take them down, hem them and then re-hang them. Which is what I'm doing. I've brought four home, have already done two of them, and I will take them back later today when I have my car again. There's 10 or 12 in total, all old and falling apart, all big ranch slider size, and she hasn't got a table that I could see - maybe she thought I would just balance my sewing machine on my knees! Honestly, some people just don't have a clue.

Went to a closing down sale at a local shop last night and picked up two nice summer dresses cheap, and had a couple of free glasses of wine. The other ladies I went with decided they were going on into town for tea and more wine, so I said I would get Paul to come and pick me up. I phoned and he said "no problem, only you have the car keys!" Grrrr. So one of the other ladies brought me home as they didn't want me walking home alone in the dark. I had snapper and chips to go home to - wasn't going to miss out on that.

Well I had better do these other two curtains. Have a super day everyone.

kuaka - 2017-04-21 10:23:00
11767

morning ladies :) Good luck with the curtains kuaka, I hate sewing them!

Gerry, as a teacher, I hear all sorts of language coming out of kid's mouths so nothing surprises me any more. On the flip side, there are lots of lovely, well brought up kids out there who are going to make fantastic adults. Hopefully, there will be more of them than the other!

This morning I'm going to dash into the Warehouse as they have a sale on camping gear. I'll grab a bedroll and use that for blocking my knitting. It should work out OK as it's long so many pieces can be pinned onto it and there should also be room for the scarf I am knitting. Then it can be rolled up and put away.

I know I have knitted lots by the length of the scarf but the ball of fiber doesn't look like it has reduced in size lol. Knitting one ply can be quite deceiving at times.

Better get organised for the day.

happy knitting :)

Yum snapper can be be so good Kuaka.

Another lovely day so will go help with the kitty litter this morning and garden this pm. Then can put up feet with the knitting this evening. Sounds like a good plan now to see what actually eventuates lol.

Enjoy your day All

Morning ladies, we had snapper and chips again last night as the boys went fishing and brought home 3 snapper. So there's enough for tonight as well.

I didn't get to take the curtains back yesterday so will do that today and said I won't bring the others home to do until next week, so I can do them and take them back the same day.

We are planning to go to an open home later today - Paul is looking at buying here ready for his retirement. Other than that and a walk this afternoon with the neighbour, no plans but that's only if the weather is kind. We were planning on a walk at 5pm yesterday but had torrential rain, so it was a no go.

Haven't done any knitting or crochet while Paul has been here, so I will have to catch up next week.

Have a super day everyone.

Morning everyone
Everyone is soo busy... Today for me will be a quite one, I have a rotten headache again..
My new glasses are back, but Im not going to pick them up till Wednesday. combining meeting a lady from the yarn lotto group, dropping her off some coathangers and picking up a bag of wool she saved from the oppy for me.. So Im giving her some hangers for herself and some for the shop to sell as a thank you.
Also Having a girly day out with my school friend as its her Birthday. And I have to make an appointment shortly to pick the glasses up the same day.

MrP has said he is happy to wait to go over for Maccas. The last time we made the mistake of going in the holidays was bedlam lol..

Seeing all the hitch hiker scarves being done, Im almost tempted to start one, even if I only do 1-2 rows a day.

Might take an old office chair up to the recycle centre to get that out of the way.

Have a good day all

Morning - another beautiful blue sky day - dog walking will be a pleasure for sure today
Yes kiwimade there are some lovely kids - meet lots of them on my walk - so sensibke to have so many of them ask before they pat Ash -
Finished procrastinating with my sea colours - have taken a risk with the 5th colour -bought one ball of 6 likely ones - 2 were a definite no so haven't actually seen the 6th and I find the colours on the screen differ - but LoveKnitting had 20% off so worth taking a risk
My family from here are all down south with the others - I won't fly - so my boys are off riding today 100kms on a ride their Dad used to love doing - I am going out to my brothers for lunch - he is out in his boat now and I am hoping he has caught snapper - nothing like fresh caught snapper Kuaka - that will be lovely having Paul retiring near you
Mr P is right about McD school holiday time - I offered to take the little boys over the back there on Wednesday - blimmin heck bedlam -
Better get cracking that doll needs finishing

I'm back from town and no bedrolls at our warehouse. Never mind, I'll keep an eye out for them or maybe visit the sports shop.

I'm using 3.50mm needles jayemtoo so it is quite loose knitting. Definitely will need blocking to show off the pattern. It's just a regular scarf, not a shawl, with a lacy type pattern, nothing fancy.

oh yummmmmm fresh snapper. we have a fish monger with his caravan visit town once a week with freshly caught fish. Occasionally he has blue cod, that's a real treat for us.

Time for a cuppa I think.

kiwimade64 - 2017-04-22 10:39:00
11773

morning ladies :) I have my sister, dad, and his lady friend coming for lunch today so there will be little knitting.

My scarf is growing and the ball of fiber seems to be getting smaller now. I'll measure the scarf against my favourite one for length as I suspect I am almost finished. Blocking will have to wait until Monday when I visit the sports shop and buy a bedroll.

I remembered a scarf pattern I bought a couple of years ago to knit this alpaca into but decided the alpaca was too fluffy for the design so unpicked it. I'll use this pattern for some of the wool I ordered from Love Knitting. Can't wait to start it as it will be a tad more challenging than what I am doing now.

happy knitting :)

Morning everyone.
Have a lovely time with your family Kiwimade.

Yesterday I met Lucy from the facebook knitting groups. She bought me a huge bag of acrylic yarn that she wasnt using and some that the oppy was going to throw out.. so I spent a couple of hours rewinding loose balls and bagging it all up.. Was like winning the yarn lotto..!!!

Have some very pretty colour in there so ideas are popping into my mind.. I now have the desire to crochet, so I can get onto new things lol

Off to Pukekohe to get my glasses this morning. MrP is going to stay home and my school friend and I will have a few hours out. Shes after a comforter set, so plenty of places to look at.

Have a good day everyone

Morning all - chilly start here in the Bay but a beautiful day to come - washing out so it better be!
Kiwimade I use a yoga mat for blocking - the pin things seem to stay in really well - I did use those kids interlocking flat play mat things but they were a pain - I got it from the reject shop
No progress again with the doll - was going to knit some prem size bootees for this baby who is due this Tuesday - better get my skates on
Had a lovely afternoon with my brother and his family yesterday - snapper for lunch which was a bonus - not sure what is on the agenda today - my brother in law is end stage bone cancer - I should visit him but I am finding it very difficult - I should as he was brilliant over the last 6 months of Mr G illness - my Mum is going to outlive all her son in laws -

gerry64 - 2017-04-23 09:03:00
11776

((huggsss)) Gerry, sounds like you could use one or two or three...

I saw yoga mats at the warehouse yesterday and wondered if they would 'do'. They roll up into slimmer rolls too compared to bedrolls which is a bonus as we have very little storage in this house.

Bathroom and loo has been given a quick once over, a load of washing out, dishes done and floor a quick vacuum with the Furry One attacking the vacuum cleaner as he tries to 'protect' me.

Might be able to squeak in a cuppa before they arrive.

Quick visit this am, think busy week ahead. Sister has grandchildren visiting - 5 & 3 yr olds from Wellington. Their mother has had to go to New York for work. Sister also needs to go to.work a couple of days so I'll have them those days.
Had a lovely visit yesterday to an old friend who I've known for about 50yrs.
A good catch up again.

Nearly used up all my left over mermaid tail wool on vests for charity, with the weather getting cooler want to get a good supply of things and deliver them.

Have a good day

morning ladies :) I bought our son's birthday pressie Friday even though his birthday isn't until June. I've been promising him an oven roasting dish with a lid for ages and was in Briscoes so decided to have a quick look. Bought an enamel dish down from $150 to $45 so am thrilled to bits. It's a pretty blue and realllly heavy. Will drop it off to son next time I'm in Hamilton, he might as well get the use from it.

Am beavering away on this scarf and I think I'm at the winning end of it. My Love Knitting order should arrive this week so I have dug out the patterns I plan to use the wool/yarn/fiber with. I bought some 4ply sock yarn at the wool shop in Hamilton the other day for a scarf but I might knit socks with it... I have only ever knitted one sock lol so this will be interesting!

happy knitting :)

Kiwimade I use Cat Bordhi sock patterns - really enjoy making them - heel looks different but everybody I have made them for love them - if I had your email could send you a free book of patterns
Did another few rows of the dolls pinafore yesterday - keep telling myself it's going to be cute and to get cracking - but !

Morning everyone.. Lovely day here with a nice gentle breeze, so much to MrP's disgust all the windows and ranch slider are open. He can put a cardy on if he gets cold.

Had a lovely time yesterday, out with a friend.. got my new glasses and they went on and sit perfectly without any adjustments needed. I can see things Ive struggled to for ages so its lovely lol.
Both of us had sore backs and feet lol.. were not good window shoppers. Was kinda pleased she was sore before I was lol.

Did 3 rows of crochet yesterday, nice to be back into it.. One of the wools is a little thinner so I may have to do a couple of extra rows.

This is the pile of wool that Lucy brought me on Saturday. Ive tidied the balls and bagged it. Have to put it away still

https://trademe.tmcdn.co.nz/photoserver/full/583652791.jpg

The lovely maroon, old fasioned pink and a grey you might not see will make a pretty blanket Im thinking. And I love the light green and theres 800 grams of that.

Back from town and I bought a yoga mat from the warehouse. It has also inspired me to ask about beginner yoga classes, I know there have been some recently so have asked on our local FB page.

I would love those patterns Gerry, thank you. The only way to get my e mail without getting into trouble (as there will be someone who will pot me, I've had it happen before when I posted my e mail on a MB) is to either one of us make a sale for 50cents or if anyone who mutually has our emails can pass mine on. *sits back and waits for the TM warning*

I've measured my scarf against my favourite one and I still have a bit to do, should be finished today or tomorrow.

That's an awesome package of yarn popeye, you were very fortunate to be given it. And new glasses make a huge difference don't they.

I weighed it this morning was 3.1 kilos.. so averaged out about $125 worth of wool. Its inspired me to get a rattle on , on the cushion so Im pleased about that.
Had a nice morning rolling one of those 400 size balls from the warehouse into Cakes. It kept snagging last night.
Missy just took me down to the bedroom, wanted the window closed lol.. she is now curled up in her tri pillow, which is on my bed. What a life.

Ohh yes re the glasses Kiwimade, now I can read what percentage of the book I am reading has been read on the e-reader lol.. And the parts in the skywatch which are incredibly tiny lol.

A play on here and then back to my hook

Morning on a nice looking ANZAC day. No didn't get up early enough for the dawn parade.
That was a great bargain Kiwimade, those enamel roasting dishes are great.
Wow what a bonus haul of yarn Popeye, I agree the pinks and grey would be lovely together. And you will see it all more clearly with your new glasses.

Washing in the machine, coffee started, catching up on here so the day is underway. have a list of things I need or would like to do so it will be a 'take it as it comes' sort of day which I quite enjoy occasionally. Will catch up with sister and the little ones later and go to a playground.

Morning everyone.. A beautiful day here. Makes a change from the usually wet day for the Dawn Services.

I dont really have anything planned for the day. I have found some net curtains I forgot I had, so have measured the kitchen window and see what will fit or can be made to fit. Then when my house lady comes on Friday she will hang it for me.
Other than that I need to put the wool away to make the sewing table free to help a friend make a dog bed.

Have a fab day everyone..

morning ladies :) What a stunning morning for the ANZAC services, as popeye says, makes a change from all the fog and miserable weather.

Gerry, I don't belong to the destashers group as I don't have a stash of wool anymore. We downsized our home and I have very little storage space so now buy what I need and any leftovers go in a bin under the bed to be knitted for charity.

MrK is making me a rimu hanger for my scarves so I can hang them rather than squish them into a draw. I'm trying to convince him to let me make another FB page for his woodworking stuff as I'm sure there are others out there who would love his work as much as we do.

I've found out about the yoga classes and they start in a few weeks time for beginners.

Kettle's boiled, time for a cuppa outside in the garden.

happy knitting :)

My "unplanned" day yesterday kept me on the go. Made some ends for cat teasers which BiL has started making to take to cat shows, I made the part they play with out of feathers and beads and he does the rest eg mindless and springy wire but.
Then went with sister and grandies into town to see the parade - which we missed - but stayed for part of the service until it started raining and we had left the jackets in the car. So home for lunch and wait for showers to finish. I took the children to playground so sister could have a bit of a break.
Miss 3 loves climbing but her legs aren't as long as brothers 5yr old ones so would get stuck usually just above my head height so took a bit of effort to rescue her. All good exercise for me I guess!

morning ladies :) hahaha jayemtoo, three year olds rule! At least our three year old granddaughter does!

I've finished knitting my scarf and have it blocked on the mat. What a difference to size and pattern blocking makes. I don't have blocking pins so used my quilting pins as they don't rust. I pinned it out then sprayed it with water rather than wash and pin out. I have a little bit of this single ply left over, it's too good to throw out so now I'll have to find something to use it for. I might be able to blend it like a filament thread with another colour like I do with embroidery threads. Will have to think about that one.

I got your e mail thanks Gerry!

Yesterday I made a FB page for MrK and we've had an order already. He was gobsmacked lol. The power of social media lol.

Today we're off to have lunch with two of MrK's sisters so I've made a bacon and egg pie to take with us. We'll take the last of our garden tomatoes and some feijoas as well.

Will finish this coffee the roust MrK out of bed. If he wants to leave by morning tea time he had better move!

Happy knitting :)

Morning ladies, well I'm on my own again, Paul and Axel left Monday afternoon, and after leaving them at the airport I went to the Warehouse and bought a few things, then shortened a pair of trousers for a neighbour. I had to basically do them and take them back as they were heading to Auckland yesterday, so did that. Went to the club and had a couple of frames of snooker (and managed to score points for both sides!)

Yesterday I did the hems on the rest of the old curtains for this lady. She actually asked me if I could sew them while they are wet as she wanted to wash them. Her plan was for me to take them down, wait while they went through the machine, bring them home, sew them, and take them back, still wet and re-hang them. No chance. So I took them down, brought them home, stitched them, and to be honest, I couldn't tell the difference between the ones she had washed and the ones she hadn't. So they went back up without going through the machine. She paid me and was happy, but if it was me, I would have put the money towards new ones.

Went to mah jong yesterday and fell asleep in the chair after tea.

Knit and natter this morning, so I had better find something that doesn't need too much brainwork seeing as I've been awake half the night.

Not sure what the rest of the day will hold as it's just started raining, doesn't look as though it will last long though.

Awesome news about the fb page kiwimade.

Have a super day everyone

Morning everyone.
Glad the orders are coming in Kiwimade.. Have a lovely time out.

Soo long since I saw a 3 year old lol... pocket rockets tho at times.

Wow Kuaka that lady sounds a bit odd to me lol... Did Paul like any houses the other day?

My friends birthday today and shes gone out for the day with friends. So I can delay the baking of her birthday cake. I hope she likes her birthday present.

Im going to push myself with the cushion cover today. 7 rows to go but I may have to do a couple more as one of the wools is slightly thinner than the others.

Have a fab day everyone

Morning all - beautiful day - will be lovely at the park today -
My pile of stuff that I will never use is shrinking - agree with you kiwimade regarding Facebook - even sold my Furls crochet hook for $40 - I just didn't like it but I am sure I didn't pay that for it - but they are very trendy - one lady obviously likes scjheepes cotton yarn - has bought several lots -trouble is expecting a big parcel from LoveKnitting any day so the gap will fill quickly
Sounded like fun at the playground Jayemtoo- my cat used to love those springy things with a feather
The nurses from the hospice brought my brother in law here yesterday for a visit - they understood - there are some lovely people in this world - was actually a very funny couple of hours -Mr G was a very witty man so between the years of memories my BIL has and the time the nurses spent with him we all had a good laugh -
Well better get cracking down to the post office and get my sales away

morning ladies :) The hospice nurses are just awesome aren't they! I can't say enough about how wonderful they were when mum was dying. They certainly made it easier for us and were able to explain things along the way which took a lot of uncertainty away from dad.

I'm going to have a rummage for some smaller needles and some DPNs for these socks today. I have the circular needle which is a start. I only have a few circular needles and keep them in their packets in an old pencil case. I store a lot of my smaller knitting bits and pieces in pencil cases, must be the teacher in me lol.

happy knitting :)

Morning
Lovely that you were able to have your BiL visit Gerry.
I do all my socks on circular needles I tend to poke myself when using dpns so was very pleased when discovered circulars- no more stabbing.

Went to park yesterday pm to fly kites but not windy enough so a lot of running around with kites flapping behind us but not actually flying. Ended up making grass mountains out of the newly mown grass.

Trying to decide what to knit next - have some wool to use up but it's not the softest so not the best for tiny babies.

Morning ladies, a lovely morning now that the fog has cleared, but there sure is a nip in the air.

Fell asleep in the chair last night and woke at 12.45am but still managed to sleep till 6 when I finally got to bed.

Such a lovely day I think I will do some gardening this morning, I have some plants that need to be planted, and of course there are weeds - there are always weeds.

Just remembered I'm supposed to be doing an "owl" blanket for my sister-in-law for her first great-grand-child, and I think the baby is due in May, so I had better make a start. Hopefully baby is due end of May. Beginning to wish I hadn't said I would do it. Never mind.

Have an awesome day everyone.
