Morning all - beautiful day here in the Bay but definitely had the feel of autumn in the air
My neice - who is a cancer survivor - is due to have a baby in June - was told yesterday baby is very very very small - she lives in the cold part of nz so won't use acrylic but what yarn would be best for light but warm knitting - she is not the type who would throw everything in the washing machine - Ghave used possum mix before but not for a baby - any suggestions ?

Have a bit of a sore throat so have told the little dog we are having a lazy day -has his best hang dog look on
Nothing like a fresh picked raspberry Popeye - drove past our old orchard yesterday at Havelock North - my raspberry canes I planted have obviously propagated themselves over the years and are huge - but the orchard is destined to be cleared for developement this year so no doubt this is their last year of producing - sad -

Pop over to our local wool store/(Skeinz) on Monday for their annual sale you pick up so baby wool. and some for yourself.

I am soooooooooo pi--ed off. Was cutting it a bit fine to get Grace to the bus and for the first time ever the car wouldn't start. Nothing for it but to use the Safari, only when I went to get in, the door was open and this greeted me:

Grrrr!

Hi Gerry - the 4ply merino from Skeinz is lovely and soft, it's what I basically use for baby knitting. Extra bonus that the sale starts on Monday.

No wonder you're angry with that Kuaka, at least they didn't manage to actually take the car but a real pain having to get it fixed.

jayemtoo - 2017-03-17 13:43:00
11504

not even sure if the parts will be available jayemtoo - it's a 1989 but up till today was in really good condition, and I've just discovered that they have stuffed the lock on the drivers door, obviously tried to force that before they decided it was easier to smash a window! Think the ignition is completely rooted.

kuaka - 2017-03-17 14:41:00
11505

Blimmin heck Kuaka - they have done a real good job on that - insurance? The worst thing is knowing there has been sonebody undesirable hanging around long enough to do that
Thank you will pop over to skeinz on Monday - feel like a treat - my mountain of wool I already have is in such a mess the idea of digging through it is just too much

gerry64 - 2017-03-17 14:47:00
11506

holy moly kuaka! The little buggars (I want to say worse but can't here). Insurance claim? Maybe they will write it off if they can't get parts. And you need to tell the police, insurance company will want a copy of their report anyway.

kiwimade64 - 2017-03-17 15:36:00
11507

yes, not sure about claiming on insurance, my son says if the ignition isn't too damaged, it's fixable, but it looks pretty stuffed to me. Insurance excess is $350 but I've since discovered that they have wrecked the door lock too. Called "roadside assist" to come and get my car started, and it's a no go either, the mechanic thinks it's the fuel pump, so now I have no transport at all - thought I was safe having a spare to fall back on - never dreamt they would both be out of action at the same time - "murphy's law - how appropriate on St Patrick's day!" Car is going to be towed to the garage on Monday afternoon, no idea how long it will take to get fixed or how much it will cost. The tow is covered by roadside assist apparently, but I suspect fuel pumps aren't cheap. Just as well I'm not destitute.

morning ladies :) Buggar kuaka, what a pain in the proverbial. I'd still claim but if they decide to repair then you will loose your no claims bonus too so may not be worth it.

We're off to a family lunch for Dad's birthday today so I'll make the salad just before we leave. Apple pie all done and looks pretty good lol. Will do some housework and that's my day pretty well done and dusted.

have a good one!

Morning everyone

Oh Kuaka what a mess... thats the trouble with our world now. Ownership means nothing to the idiots. I hope it can get fixed or written off for you.

Did grace get to the bus?

Have a nice time at your Dads Kiwimade. Dads are special.

Back to the onion bag today. But Im very creaky so Ill sit and crochet inbetween jars. I hope this round of pain takes off fast I want to get out and mow the fern lol. And those hedge trimmers are a tad heavy for me. But I do like using it lol.

The unit next door has been taken off here so it must have new tennants. The others are working in the garage this morning so maybe they will go earlier. Fingers crossed for our landlords sake we get someone more suitable.

Right better get some stuff done on here and then set up the onion plant lol.

Have a fab day everyone

morning ladies :) Another stunning day in the Waikato today. I love autum, my favourite time of the year where the temperatures are 'just right' and the wind calms down. The hose needs to go on the garden today, it's back to dry even after all the rain we had last week.

We had a lovely afternoon with dad and family yesterday, took lots of photos and have put them on a CD for my nephew and his partner.

Arrggg just heard a rat in the ceiling so I guess the order of the morning is to put some bait up there. It's getting colder at night now so they move 'indoors' and the maize is being cut as well which makes them scatter.

I haven't crafted for days, just been too busy doing other things. I'll have to find something to do before the withdrawls really set in.

Happy knitting.

Morning - beautiful morning - yes like you kiwimade just love this time of year - was sitting looking at the big tree in our backyard yesterday thinking this year I will have to sweep up the leaves that the old boy used to grumble about
Watched Queen Sugar on TVNZ on demand last night - very good acting and story line plus no ads makes it even better and no swearing at all- bit tired this morning though -dog park might be the short version this morning
I did crochet some wash cloths for the baby while I was watching so that's a plus

Morning everyone,
Have to say Im enjoying the starts to the day. Still getting a little warm in the lounge in the afternoon tho with full sun.
Ran out of honey doing the onions yesterday so have to go get some this morning. Have just under half the bag to go I think.

Did 6 squares inbetween too, with the ends sewn in on 5 of them. So only 6 to go. Yayay.

Next door are movng stuff across the road to one of their relations, so dont know if they are simply moving across the road or what.

Right better get a few things done here and get up the road. I thought we were taking the old chairs to the recycle centre but MrP hasnt mentioned them, he wants to do onions. So Im happy with that.

Have a fab day everyone

Sunflower my little car tried desperately to head to skeinz on Saturday but I resisted the urge to go there before the sale started

Morning ladies, my little car is going nowhere except on a tow truck tomorrow. The chap that came to get it going thinks it's the fuel pump. So until it is towed to the workshop, it's just sitting like a big useless ornament.

I have someone coming later to look at my dining suite which I've been trying to sell for a while. I've reduced the price, would have liked to get more for it, but I want it gone, no actually I need it gone. I just don't have the room in my lounge for my old lounge suite and my old dining suite. I had better go and give it a polish as I see the cat has been sleeping on it and it's covered in hairs - thanks puss.

Have an awesome day everyone.

Fingers crossed it sells for you Kuaka.

Well I got the honey, Yay I didnt need a mortgage for it lol... $7-50 for a 500 gram pot. Hopefully it will be enough.
Im going to stock up on honey over the year, in prep for the next season lol.. Since it has a looooooong shelf life.

Also got two huge hambones. Both weigh 1.5 kilos, one for us and one for a friend. So we will cut most of the meat off for lunches etc and freeze the bone with some meat on for soup. $4-99.

A play here and then back to the onions.

Have fun everyone

Yay, it's gone, and they are also interested in the old lounge suite that I want rid of and an old china cabinet - not ready to sell the china cabinet, have to find somewhere for all the contents. Had to empty out all the stuff in the top drawer of the sideboard, and did that before they arrived, and then discovered my silver tea and coffee pot in the middle drawer. Oops!

Now I shall have some lunch and then try to put the lounge back together.

Morning
Hope you get rid of the rat Kiwimade - I don't mind mice but rats are too big.

Have a Nephew and his new Wife coming this pm and staying the night. They live in Australia and I haven't seen him for years and never met the girl so will be nice to catch up with them.

Wasn't really planning on going to the Skeinz sale until I found a pattern for mermaid tail knee blankets so think I will see if they have really cheap 10ply wool and I might make them for Niece's kids who live down south.
I found the Facebook page free ravelry patterns knitting and so keep seeing more patterns I might like to try. A lot of the posts are things like beanies and scarves but at times I find something that I can see me trying.
Found a lovely cables child's jacket yesterday but it was in Swedish Makes me realise again how international FB.
Kiwimade if you use Ravelry try searching Ramsden - he has heaps of free patterns and some lovely ones for toddlers, as well as adults. I think he might design for the pattons books I can see that I will be trying some of them.
Well hear washing machine has finished so better get going and get organised.
Enjoy your day.

Morning ladies, thick fog here and not very warm, hope it improves as the morning wears on. Op shop for me this morning, and hopefully get the car towed to the workshop this afternoon, I will have to walk to the club. Membership draw is worth $500 and has to be won tonight - so they just keep drawing numbers until someone is actually present to collect the $$$. It would help towards the car repairs.

I don't seem to have been able to knuckle down and get on with the shawl I'm knitting for myself, even though I like the way it is taking shape, like the wool and the colour, but I haven't slept well the last couple of nights and keep dozing off in the chair, I guess that doesn't help with the knitting progress.

Things to do so I had better get moving.

Have a super day everyone.

Morning everyone,
I suspect its foggy in the south, lots of clouds over that way. A very still morning here.
The lawns will either be done today or tomorrow.

I have two squares to go, and just those ends and one more.. Then I shall let that sit a few days for a break.
I want to start another special project for a friends birthday. So I shall enjoy the different colours to work with.

We have about 1/4 of the onions left but have told MrP to have a break and let his hands relax a bit. He does well for someone with metal pins in his thumbs. Neither of them work properly. But he adapts.

Hope all goes well with the car Kuaka, and enjoy your visitors Jayemtoo.

afternoon ladies :) I've been in the classroom today, just love teaching Year 3/4s. Neat kids and eager to learn.

I've baited the ceiling jayemtoo so I should catch the rat and the Furry One had it bailed up in a pile of bricks we have for the garden.

You were right about the fog popeye, it was thick this morning. Silly person in front of me, white car and no lights on. I only saw it when I got close to it.

I have news about the yellow line being painted on the road outside our home and it's going to happen. The Land Transport lady drove along our road both ways and agrees with us, the rise is just that bit too high for cars to see clearly when overtaking. It has to go through various committee meetings but she is confident we will have it in around 8 weeks or so. We're wrapped, just a phone call to make a change which could potentially save lives.

Tomorrow I'll buy some more 4 ply to knit for our wee grandson. Better think about Maddy too, can't knit for one and not the other!

happy knitting :)

Morning ladies, op shop was quiet yesterday, not as busy as usual, not much stuff came in and not a lot of customers.

Phoned the workshop where the car was being towed to and said I was home and they could come and pick it up any time, so they did":

https://trademe.tmcdn.co.nz/photoserver/full/569398862.jpg

Oh dear, that's a sad sight. Also told the chap to check out why the temperature gauge only works when it thinks it will. Very annoying. I know it will cost more, but seeing as it's already there, they may as well do that too.

Got a lift to the club with one of the neighbours, didn't win the $500 which went only on the second draw of numbers. Asked the neighbour if she was staying for tea and she said no, but why didn't I go back to her place for stir fried beef, which she cooked in no time at all and was delicious. Then her partner walked me home as it was pitch black and no street lights near my place.

Had a long phone call from my sister and then dozed off. Woke up at 1.30 and went to bed.

Didn't do any knitting yesterday, have to do some today. After mah jong I plan to go for a long walk again with another neighbour (if she is going today) and then maybe after tea I can do some knitting.

Have a super day everyone.

Good news about the yellow line kiwimade.

A grey windy day out there, perfect lol.

Ohh the poor car Kuaka.. But good idea getting the extra done while they are in there.

Fab news about the Yellow Line Kiwimade, hopefully it will help keep the numbers of accidents down. yellow lines dont mean a thing to idiots tho.

Finished the squares for the second blanket yay. Then had a leasurly afternoon.

Off to do my bloods this morning and grab a couple of things at nw.

Afternoon all - beautiful day in the bay again -went down to skeinz yesterday didn't bother stopping chaos reigned - I see on their Facebook page they were swamped - if I missed on a bargain so be it
Your car is heading in the right direction Kuaka - they will hopefully give it a good check over while it is there
Had to take a steroid tablet this morning goodness only knows what I did yesterday - moving a bit better now
Kiwimade what is that year you are teaching in our old language primers and standards

gerry64 - 2017-03-21 12:36:00
11526

Afternoon
Hope the car isn't out of action too long Kuaka we sure do depend on our wheels these days.
Oh dear Gerry hope you are ok again quickly too.

Went to Skeinz yesterday but not until later and the mad rush must have eased off, brought some thick DK at $2.00 a ball to make the blankets for 2 of the kids and went back today and got some for the third one. Mightn't be exactly the preferred "mermaid" colours but can't complain at that price. I started the shark one yesterday while waiting for my visitors to arrive and am using 6mm needles so knits up quickly.

Was great having nephew to stay overnight and his new wife who is lovely. They went and met my brother and SiL in the pm and my Sister and BiL came for dinner so she certainly had her fair share of meeting new aunts and uncles in laws in a short time. They have gone on to Auckland today.

Morning everyone

Day one of no power from 9am. And is dim and dark. Warm too, I hope it doesnt get too bad or I will suffer.

Have to go have my diabetes eye check in the afternoon. Was funny, the letter for the appointment arrived yesterday with Confirmed on the letter. I rang and toold them i had only just got the letter. It would have been too bad if we had had an appointment out of town etc.

We will pickle a few onions today, I forgot to get vinegar yesterday so will go as far as the vinegar holds out.

Have a fab day everyone

Morning ladies, it's miserable here, not exactly raining, just "mizzle" as my uncle used to call it, misty drizzle, and not particularly warm.

Not sure whether to go to knitting or not. I declined a lift yesterday saying I would walk and hope to get a lift back, but looking at the weather I might have to phone my friend and ask if I can have a lift after all (or stay home). It might have cleared up by the time I'm ready to go - and of course my umbrella is in the car which is in the workshop.

Went for another long walk yesterday, but today I have a really sore back so not sure if I will go tonight or not. Have to see how I feel closer to the time.

Might do my ironing after breakfast, not a lot, but seeing as it's not too hot it's a good time to do it and get it out of the way and then do some gardening later if the weather clears.

Have a super day everyone.

morning ladies :) No power popeye? Are they doing repairs your way?

Gerry, Year3/4 would be Std 2/3 when we went to school. Awesome kids and we had lots of fun writing about silly You Tube clips we found.

I weeded dad's garden for him yesterday, have lots of digging to do next time I am there. His previous gardener planted calla lilies and they have invaded pretty much every garden.

The car is booked in for a WoF this morning so have to get moving soon.

Kuaka, MrK said the most expensive part of your car repair will be the labour. They usually charge around $70 an hour but in saying that, depending on the model of your car, it shouldn't take long to exchange the fuel pumps.

better get cranked up, car is booked in for 9.00am.

happy knitting

kiwimade64 - 2017-03-22 08:30:00
11530

Kiwimade, they phoned yesterday and it's not the fuel pump, they said it's the crankshaft centre something or other which decided it had had enough, the part is $280 or $288 (I forget and I think that's plus gst), should arrive this morning and they said about two and a half hours labour. It's the first time it's needed any work and I've had it probably coming up 3 years - can't remember, it was after Mr K broke his neck, because he had a very short test drive in it, and that was the one and only time he drove after breaking his neck.

Might get the car back this afternoon.

What sort of calla lilies does your dad have? If they are nice ones and you are digging some out, I'd happily pay for them and pay the postage.

kuaka - 2017-03-22 09:04:00
11531

Our old girl passed her WoF but I knew she would as MrK is a retired mechanic and very fussy about maintenance. And while I was in town I popped into the local garden nursery and ordered two climbing roses for June, "Blueberry Hill', a 'frilly' lavender rose and 'Long John Silver', a very prolific pure white rose. Can't wait to have them planted and flowering.

Kuaka, dad's calla's have a variegated leaf but not sure if the flower is yellow or orange. I suspect yellow. Next time I'm there, I'll take a photo and post it for you to look at.

Time for lunch then mow the lawn before it rains.

Kiwimade that is a lovely age to be teaching
I too have another bag of onions Popeye - am wondering what I have got myself into - the food bank here won't take them if the mesh sacking is broken so they are destined for the pig farmer

Well we made it through the first day of no power.

They have been putting in underground wiring for what feels like months, and today they hooked it up. But for some reason they need to have the power off again on friday to take the poles down.

They obviously dont know how to tell time tho.. It was 5-10pm when it came back on.. I was starting to get a little miffed.

But generally it wasnt too bad, and the only thing I missed was my fan.

Went to the oppy on my way to my eye check. Got three bags of wool for $8 cos its half price this week.

Arrived early for my eye test and passed with flying colours. I have afreckle on the back of my eye.. So Ive been itching to see if that is rare or common. You can see it as plain as day.

We have done 45 jars of onions so far... and have somewhere close to 3-5 left to do... Yes Ill be pleased when they are done lol.

Hope all goes well for your car Kuaka.. and im glad yours passed Kiwimade.

Right I need to check and make sure people have been behaving on fb without me lol

Have a good night everyone

morning ladies :) We have scheduled maintenance power cuts at least once a year popeye and they have to have the power back on time as the farmers will dump their milk and I think the power companies have to reimburse them for that. Milk can't sit in the vat for more than 12 hours. Nothing like a $$$$ incentive to have the power back on in time. We usually have a couple of weeks notice and nine times out of ten we forget lol. But if we have no power, we have no water so always have water in the kettle and fridge for those idiots who take out the power poles on our road.'

Not sure what I'm going to do today, will play it by ear.

happy knitting

Morning ladies, when we first lived on Waiheke Island the power used to flicker and die with boring regularity whenever there was a storm and everyone came home from work and started cooking tea, the lights would flicker from about 5.10 onwards and it would go off around 5.30. Then they did a major upgrade and we had several days of scheduled power cuts while they did the work, then no more problems. At the time we were with Mercury energy and they had a system where if you were without power for more than 3 hours, they gave you a $50 credit on your account (unless it was scheduled) but when the power went off unexpectedly it was always back on in under 3 hours. I don't remember ever getting a $50 credit.

Looks like being a lovely day here. Not sure what I will do today, maybe some gardening. Walked to knitting and back yesterday so didn't go for my evening walk with the neighbour, but I hope to today.

No car yet. I phoned about it yesterday afternoon and they said it is going, but they were working on why the temperature gauge only goes occasionally. Hope that doesn't take too long to sort out. If they have to get parts for it, I might have to pick the car up and take it back next week. I need it tomorrow at the latest. Have a market on Saturday. Fingers crossed for some good sales - I've just bought heaps of possum/merino on here. ($300 worth) Oops! That will keep me busy for a while.

Have a super day.

Morning everyone
To pinch your Uncles cool word, Its mizzling here today. Very warm.

Have decided what we will have for tea tomorrow. I like to be prepaired.. And yep Kiwimade we always have water in the kettle, and Ill redo the thermos.
We always have water in the fridge. I drink 3 litres a day so i keep a 5 litre gerry can full in the fridge all the time.

Shopping this morning, then our flu shots in the afternoon.

I had a further look at the wool I got yesterday, have 400 grams of acrylic, and 200 grams of pure wool. Which I thought was acrylic. So for $8 for the lot I got a good deal. The wool is a nice blue DK. I dont generally use wool so Ill have to think about what ill do with it.

Glad I picked the blackberries yesterday, some of them would ahve been mush today. Got half an ice cream container yesterday so the amount is growing per pick.

Better Hustle my butt.

Have a fab day every one

Morning dull here today -still warm but forecast is for rain - our first house was semi rural opposite the volunteer fire station - everytime the siren went off our power would go off - it dragged so much power - that was annoying as our water went off as well -
Sold some wool yesterday on the destash site - went in a blink - maybe I went into cheap - might list some more - I know I will never do the project the wool was intended for
Well better get cracking and take this little four legged nuisance out to the park in case it does rain and then out to my Mum -she tried to move her bed and has hurt her side -at 99 I don't think she will ever learn - she dropped something down between the wall and the bed - she didn't think she should ring the bell as it was careless of her!

Afternoon
Good that family are OK Sunflower, it is so sad the amount of worry and sadness one idiot person can do. I just can't comprehend what they aim to achieve.

Need to get a couple of little things finished as Niece had her baby on Tuesday a couple of weeks early but he is about 4kgs so would have been a little elephant if he had waited to full term!

Afternoon ladies, what an expensive day! Workshop phoned and said car was ready but it will need to go to an auto electrician to get the temp gauge fixed, they've looked at it but can't figure out why it's not working and think it's under the dashboard that the problem lurks.

I asked would they pick me up to get my car or did I need to get a lift out there - it's a few ks out of town. They said the office girl would pick me up, which she did, in my car which was already low on fuel, so after I had paid, I decided to keep going to Kerikeri to do some shopping and fill with fuel. $612 for the car, $80 for petrol, $160 for groceries, $60 at the warehouse, mostly plants but a pair of trousers too, bottle of brandy $40 and then home.

And I noticed that the temperature gauge never missed a beat, so even though they haven't fixed it, it's working!

Oh Kuaka these mechanical mysteries never seemed to be so perplexing when there was a man in the house were they!

No, I phoned and told them, that even though they haven't found out what the problem is or fixed it, it does seem to be working. Wonder how long it will work for???

Morning everyone,
Yes early again, so I can get things done before the power goes off.

Kuaka maybe your temp guage is like the clock in our car. It pleases itself when it works. some days it will others it wont lol

We have the very last of the onions to do this morning, and then MrP will probably rest and Ill crochet or read.

Went to our original oppy yesterday. They had adult clothing for $1. So I had two nighties and a pair of pants for MrP in my arms, went to the checkout and the lady said to me, go catch up with the other lady and its fill a plastic bag for $1, on clothes, linen and shoes.
So we got the nighties and trousers, 2 double duvet covers and 5-6 pillowcases for $1... We werent going to go, but I changed my mind lol.

Well have a fab day everyone, I hope its 6 hours today not 8 lol

morning ladies :) I'm glad your family is OK sunflowers, it's a worry isn't it when everyone is so far away from each other.

And I agree with you jayemtoo, I can't understand the mentality of people who do this. A 4kg baby! Wow! Just as well she didn't go to full term lol.

I had to laugh at your temperature gauge kuaka, maybe they touched a wire or something and that's all that was needed. At least you know now to take it direct to an auto sparky if it stops working again.

That was good buying popeye, our Red Cross had fill a bag for $5 the other day. Must be the change of seasons.

I have a couple of things to do in town, at least that will get me away from the dust the maize contractors are making. I couldn't drive those harvesters, I'd be sneezing all day. It's a waste of time to do housework with all this dust. Hopefully they will finish today or tomorrow.

Happy knitting :)

Morning ladies, very still and overcast here and I thought to myself "perfect conditions to go out to the boat and the tide is almost high". Sadly the tide is dropping so it will be no good as I can't drag the dinghy up and down the beach, so looks like it will be gardening and housework today and get ready for tomorrow's market.

As for the temperature gauge, when it first stopped working I took it to the auto electrician directly opposite the workshop where it's just had the work done. He's a nice old bloke, and has done work on our boat (and the old boat that Mr K gave away) and he lifted the bonnet and said "I don't even know where to start looking on these modern cars for the sensor or thermostat - you'd better take it to a place in Whangarei where they have computer diagnostics" and I never bothered. Sometimes it worked but mostly it didn't. I'm thinking that something wasn't connected firmly enough and they've just fiddled and moved it into a better position. Fingers crossed it keeps working.

I called in at one of the op shops yesterday, bought a really nice dress for $9 (probably never go anywhere to wear it but at least I have it if I need it) another more casual dress for $5 and a top for $5, and a piece of nice fabric for $2 - it's sort of canvas with stripes of different widths and different colours of velvet, thought it would make a nice tote bag or craft bag, either for me or the market. Try the market first and if it doesn't sell, I'll claim it.

What a good excuse kiwimade to neglect the housework.

Have a super day everyone.

Good Morning Ladies. The sun doing it's best to shine.
Yes! Its good to know they are all OK. Since we returned back to live in NZ,I understood what I put my mother through while we lived overseas in the 80's and many trips since,LOL .

Glad you have got your car back on the road.We sure miss them when they are off the road. I spend $220. for groceries yesterday. We have to eat.

Well I am off to tidy up the house this morning and give the guest bedroom good clean as we having visiting later next week.No knit and natter today. for me. Have some curtains to hem and hang as well. With the sun so strong here they don't last.

What a pain having no power again today Popeye.Just think no poles for people to hit during the night...

Have a Great Day Everyone.

Morning all - washing is out as day is supposed to get to 25 even though it is still pretty dull
My wool sale on the destashers page - turned into a drama - I didn't read rule 1 properly and even though I listed it and it sold within 15 mins I caused a real drama as I didn't put it in the right album and according to the administrator I had to relist it -had already agreed to sell it to somebody so wasn't going to do that - anyway the buyer managed to contact me and when she gave me her address she is only 5kms away - you just never know on Facebook you could be dealing with your neighbour across the back fence
That was good buying at the op shop - the ladies from the hospice came yesterday and picked up a whole lot of those supplement drinks my son had bought for his dad - they had plenty of shelf life left so they were taking them to a man who cant afford to buy them - they are so blimmin expensive but sonebody on 24 hour oxygen can survive on them - should be free if you can't afford it - there are free ones but these are something different
An old neighbour of ours is coming for lunch -our kids were best friends growing up - they moved to Christchurch years ago - coincedentialy her husband also only 69 died the same week as mine so we no doubt will shed a tear or two
