No, I meant I regularly copy recipes from this forum for my own use

It read that you thought davidt4 copied ...but good on you for explaining. I'm a 'copier' of recipes from here too & if you read the thread again, you may see that there was some informed background to the comment.

whoa, nasty much???, coming from someone who regularly copies recipes from this forum. I have never read something so stupidly obtuse. Maybe your MB ChB lends yourself to online diagnosis, but mine does not.

So where did you get your medical degree from? You've claimed on here, on numerous occasions that you're a GP, but that's not true is it? Not even close.

I am always surprised when people claim recipes as their own. There are just so many recipes that have been tweaked slightly that they cannot be claimed as original. Unless someone truly invents a new recipe that shows innovation then I am happy for someone to claim it as their own but the recipe for the meat patties has been around since at least the 1940s as my mum used to make them using the same ingredients - the recipe has just been tweaked with the addition of oregano and soy sauce as they were not readily available in those days and the small amount added would hardly be noticeable anyway in 500g of mince.

orry to burst the bubble about how truthful fisher was. He wasn't anything he purported to be in this forum. He was not a professional cook, his mother certainly wasn't either. How do I know this? I was married to him for 14yrs back in the 70's and we have a daughter together. I watched him write a load of rubbish here on this forum over the years but said nothing as I have a wonderful life and did not need to appear vengeful. But pixie1955 is correct. He appropriated recipes and took credit for them when they were indeed not his own.

I don't think many people took him seriously; I assumed he was suffering from some kind of mental illness, maybe mild dementia or bipolar disorder. His ideas about food were largely boastful nonsense.

I think the Ex wife summed it up accurately...I mean those who have written on here only know his online.this aldy was married to him for 14 years and witness his delusions

I wonder what people on here will say about me when I am dead ...

While posting here I was often told that the English way was not to say anything if it is not nice ... and to never say anything nasty about dead people..

Gosh why bump it, certainly not in 'fishers memory' . Nasty things have been said.
So he wasnt who he 'appeared' to be on here. There are many on here who are in the same boat. Let him rest - whatever he may or may not have been does it really need to be dredged up every year? Get a life

LOL, I agree with this, let it lie.
