If you have an Air Fryer - pop them in the basket - no water needed -2 mins soft boiled - 4 mins hard boiled on 160 - perfect every time

I tried that tonight & it didn't work as well as I'd hoped. I heated the airfryer first, popped in the eggs for 3 1/2 minutes & they were very very soft.
I was cooking other stuff in the fryer, so back in they went for another 4 minutes & they were still a bit soft ...however no big deal, they were perfectly edible on a salad.
Maybe your air fryer is 'hotter"?
I'll keep experimenting, though.

I gave in to a whim and bought a silly looking little chicken shaped thing that said you could boil eggs in the microwave. Expecting the worst I tried it and, works fine, I use it all the time. A lot of the time I just want one egg quickly and it's often for a - I forgot to have lunch and want an egg / or an egg sandwich right now thanks - 2 minutes after thinking that I have my egg. :)

...I have one of these and the grandies love using it....

Wow! That is great advice ???????? currently renting & only have two of everything out. No saucepans! Fancied eggs the other day. Successfully hard boiled them in small electric fry pan, but as I have an Air Fryer will do that next time, sounds much faster & easier! Thanks ????

We always check the carton they come in. Caught once to0 often with pre-scrambled.

Boil them in your kettle
Plenty of times on the net as a starter
One of those things you work out your own settings for your kettle and style of egg you like

I bought pre-boiled eggs when I was in Korea - our apartment only had a microwave, so I found them quite handy. In Seoul, it is soooo cheap to eat out or buy pre-made everything, no-one bothers to cook anymore; from memory I think it was about 80 cents for two boiled eggs.

But that's not true here, so not sure I see the point, unless age/infirmity prevents you from cooking.

Ugh, do you remember seeing those silk worm bugs being cooked in huge pans in the street? Now you could smell them before you saw them and I try stuff, but never those!

What are people doing with all the time that they save by buying convenience foods? Chatting on social medium about how busy their lives are?
Could the end of 2-minutes noodles be near?

Boiling and peeling eggs, fresh or older. Try half a teaspoon of Baking Soda in the water when cooking. Never had a problem peeling eggs since I read and started doing this. Some pointy head may be able to explain WHY it works?

Why the disparaging language? It's hardly going to encourage someone to explain.

Really? I pay $3.69 for 12 eggs.
