Goodness, your life is hectic. Do you have a date you are out by?

Dec 4th . Yes it is hectic. Class today for two hours. A had to take E9 back for us as L1 had to go home for a nap. J 25 came over. She passed her latest exam and has 2 to go to complete her License . She is a fully qualified Helicopter Maintenance Engineer now. The next exam is the legal one. She wants her exams finished before her annual review so she can get an increase in her wages ha ha. She certainly has her head straight. giving up a lot of social life to get the study done but as she says it is worth it. Pity her brothers don't think like her. One certainly cannot because of his brain injury but the other could if he tried. I sold another box of mosaic tiles and will now stop selling craft stuff as I need to shift it all ha ha.
Went to the Funeral Memorial yesterday. The whole family went and it lasted 3 hours, We were exhausted afterwards. It was sad but also very family orientated. Afterwards we had a meal and caught up with each other.
Its raining and we need to mow lawns Ah well .
The dogs need to be groomed on Wednesday as December is booked out, Just as well I wont be taking them after this time.
No knitting no time ha ha.

Not long to go now! I have bought more plants and put half of them in over the weekend in between the bouts of rain. More Christmas shopping done and this week is going to be really hectic as it is a short week. Only 3 days fort me this week as its the Canterbury Anniversary Day on Friday and the local schools are also closed on Thursday for Teachers Only day so I have closed work as well. Wednesday the Women's Group has a trip to an Alpaca Stud Farm, Thursday is family dinner out for my birthday and Friday night is Fireworks night at Speedway which I'd like to go to if I can.

A very sad day for us today Poor Dunhill had to be helped to go to sleep today , He was 16 and a half and was in pain. No more pets for me now. I cried all day and now I have to get organised and do some work. Ive sorted out all his blankets and food. Have a box of treatments etc to take to Vet. He cost me $30 per week and he was worth every cent.
I need to think about Christmas but it will be very relaxed,

I am so sorry Dunhill is no longer with you and I'm glad you took the time to grieve for him. I know how you feel about no more pets. My sons turtle and cat are with us here but I'm finding it easier than I thought to not get attached. Take care of yourself.

I just got home from T's. My computer wont play videos and I needed to do online exercises for my course. I did 7 lessons there tonight to catch up. I'm now up to date. So I just need to study. A is away again so lol. I have to contact everyone with my new address. Ive nearly finished my Personal stuff but will need to update all the Maori Land Trusts . It took me two hours to get my phone and Broadband booked for disconnection and my mobile phone plan changed. I had to give my Ids three times for heavens sake. Each new person duh. Would you believe that my Funeral Policy that I pay for right, which has two of my sons as owners could not have the address changed unless one of the boys rang. I was furious after all they send the monthly statements to me. I told them what I thought of that. I need rang my agent of 50 years and told his son. He has retired ha ha . Anyway P had it sorted in a minute. Like I would own my own Funeral Policy and collect ugh.

I think changing records is one of the worst parts of shifting. I always seem to miss one. I'm waiting to see what happens about my life insurance policy with this birthday. I's finished at 61, I thought, but mine continued. so maybe it was 62. I guess we will find out. They were policies we took out in the AirForce when daughter S was born. The type that only pays out if you die, no return at the end of the policy. Don't want to work out how much we paid in over the years. I have the day off today so going to search online for a triangular scarf pattern. I bought some beautiful dark purple Alpaca yarn yesterday. Definitely going back there, beautiful stuff.

All of the 50 or so plants I bought a week ago are in the ground. LOL but it's kind of like wool......now I want more. I've also finished a cross over cardy and working on matching bootees for the shop. Quite a productive long weekend so far.

Frantically cutting out and sewing the basic parts of a felt advent calendar for the Women's Group to complete tomorrow. I had to make the flags for the race marshalls for the first official Kart meeting coming up this Sunday. The things wee find ourselves doing!

Advent calendars worked out very well with a group of 18 completing them. Very noisy morning. Trouble was I took photos of them starting the process and then got too busy to take shots of their finished items. Darn it! And these men have brought me more fabric to make into flags. Sigh.

Dreadful weather here yesterday so lots of knitting done in front of Netflix. Missed being out in the garden though. Waiting for the repairman to fix the garage roller door today. The men were racing so I haven't been able to go anywhere as the door is stuck half way down and there was no security for our stuff in there. Not sure I would do if someone went after the tools etc though. Stick them with my knitting needles?!!! LOL.WE had tarps up trying to protect everything from the weather but that caused it's own nightmare keeping them tied down. Luckily the wind had lessened by night time. I made all the arrangements so I could be home and now the two of them are both here as well- too sore to go to work. Grrr.
I hope your packing is still on target.

The Women's Group visited Pataka Christmas Shop on Wednesday. I found a beautiful Christmas Wreath for my front door made from layered wood stencils. So effective! I would love to do something like that.

It's our Lego Christmas Grotto and Craft Market event tomorrow. Here's hoping the weather stays fine and for Sunday as L13 is coming back early as we have invited on a cruise down the Kaiapoi River.
Thinking of you shifting today, makerealbany.

Twenty Five Years of THE BREEZE CD
This has 2 CD's and I have mislaid Disc One, so if anyone wishes to sell me their CD, through Trade Me, will be much appreciated.

Hello, there, anyone living in West Auckland interested in buying bulk fabrics? I bought them a few years ago to help someone for a good cause. Planned to learn how to sew, but never materialised, esp. with this COVID pandemic !
They are very nice fabrics, which can be made into tops, or children dress, masks, cushion cover, etc.

Anyone interested can inform me, please, or may be anyone out there can refer me to people who might be interested to buy those fabrics. Thanks heaps !

Have you considered listing them on TM. I enjoy browsing fabrics on here.
