well im not doing any sewing after all to day, son came round with 2 grandys so we had picnic lunch at the lake, then watch a movie with my daughter about a mermaid called aquamarine, then sat and read a couple of magazines lol but will be going to spotlight in the morning, everything is back to normal again kids at school lol

well im back and guess wat i only bought some batting, arent i good, have my grandy chase here, he came to spotlight with me, sons home already their teacher didnt turn up!!!!!daughter sick in bed had cold all weekend now has no voice hehe so not much sewing today, i had forgotten that i was looking after chase until my d-i- law text me,

Gidday, yes Twilight, Cindydog does way too much. I have given her a talking to (i am slightly taller than her hehe ) i told her to slow down a bit to stop saying yes to everything asked of her - shes trying :)

Girls just went out, tis so funny they are both going to the same place but off they go in their own cars because they are both on restricted lisences they cant drive each other so off they go following each other hehe
Got all my jobs done - coalrange cleaned out, gst posted, banking done, got a few groceries, so am going to snip bag now yay

Yes Twilight own business, will tell you more next time i email. All 4 kids work for us, they tried different jobs but soon realised this was the best job cause if theres not much work on they go up the mountain snowboarding for the day or whatever. Kids all love working together and have a lot of laughs on the job and hubby just loves them around him all the time. I do the books so i dont leave home for my work hehe i get to sew ;)
Ooooooh your racing me with the bag, i was snipping away and realised i hadnt sewn handles on, just did that and sewed back of bag to front lol, ok back to snipping now.....

Really Cindydog you have a chinchilla rodent !!! thats gotta be unusual. Dont you breath a word of it to my girls weve been through the pet rat thing with all of them .... they can live along time when they are spoilt, last one i took to vet to have put down was 5 years old, vet was amazed they are not supposed to live that long.

theres a chinchilla for sale on trademe its sssoooo cute lol, yes eldest son had mice they were a bit smelly, and we had rabbits, it was me that ended up looking after all of them lol

bag out of dryer, now just the handles to go, do you girls trim the batting away from inbetween the seams?

Aha Twilight my handles are on hehe drying on coalrange :)
Batting is not in seams...fabric - say 7" batting 5 or 6" so batting is not in seams.
Just editing here to add mutton chops, mashed potato, veges and salad yum

hi coalrange i did that with one of mine made the batting smaller but when i washed it the batting went all bumpy do you still catch a bit of batting in the seam

Gidday, yay squares arrived, Jules arrived just at right time as always to help me sort them into a quilt, shes such a lovely lady always helping me, shes got a good eye for colour.
So my next quilt is started yay :)

i dont often sew at nite but when i do i use a very bright light bulb in a desk light and stand it right next to the sewing machine lol i dont have the best of eye sight so every thing i make i call it "not always perfect"
