Fire alarm went off part way through seminar at local college yesterdasy so we lost about half an hour. Such a shame, she had some good theories to work on - most of which we practice already. LOL. We are making felt tote bags this morning at Women's Group, they are about the size of A4 paper but a cool shape.

I'm glad your trip was less stressful than previous trips to court. I'm having a relatively lazy weekend. LOL. Getting things done but no stress if they don't. I'm not looking forward to this week. Early starts for me this week. I should be able to cope ha ha. Yah Celtic Illusion. Must admit I enjoyed the Birthday Party. I only had to ignore three people which was great. Funny thing though I wore my Egyptian Gold Necklace which is quite heavy and was very expensive. All the Women there admired it and My Daughter's MIL really liked it. I had to take it off so she could check it out ha ha, She told me it was beautiful. Told T it might not go back home with me. Well I was so surprized but then Gold Jewellery is very much admired in Indian Culture and the Women there know their Gold. T has her eyes on it now ha ha, R told her it would look stunning on a Sari. I have been winding wool and watching a movie. Time for bed now though lol.

I used to knit for a woman who sold fairisle cardys in natural wool to tourists. The wool always came in hanks and needed winding. Hated the job. I. would do some of it for me, but it just got too much in the end. Wasn't paying me enough for the p[ain it was causing. LOL. At home today, dreading taking the meds this afternoon. LOL.

OMG what will you do in the mean time? I was on such a high yesterday. LOL. I didn't realise how much the results of those tests were weighing me down. I was motivated yesterday afternoon to book the venue for my 60th in November, organise invitations, and find better accommodation when we are in Wellington next month. I also finished a dolls matinee jacket which seems to have taken ages to do (for no reason). Back to work today to catch up after 2 days away. I love the wool you sent, thank you so much. I've already planned a few wee projects with it. LOL.

Your last message was very visual. LOL! I mentioned it to the ladies at the craft group yesterday and they said they hadn't heard what was on at the centre but there were loads of people going in last weekend. So it sounds like it went well for her.
Really enjoyed Celtic Illusion last night although considering we had the most expensive seats I was disappointed we couldn't see their feet during the dancing. That's the best bit, I reckon but the music and costumes etc were wonderful. I'm not sure I'll bother with the Horncastle arena as a venue nexct time.

Yes watching their feet is the best part. Some venues up here are not so good either. I left home early yesterday and spent the day in the city with my son going to the laundry mart and shopping etc. Throw some cleaning in there as well lol. Got home at 10 last night. Had a shower knitted three rounds of a milo and fell into bed. My old dog has got into the habit of barking to wake me up at 5,30 if I am not already up sigh. I cannot go back to bed and sleep after I let him out to run in the paddock. I'm going to Spotlight to watch a sewing expert this afternoon.

I Have really early starts all this week sigh. I took the dogs to get groomed and this time it cost 130 for the two of them. Thank heaven my dog is a Foxy so I don't have to get his coat cut . Road works were annoying and I wasted an hour and 15 mins passing through 4 times . No knitting for me tonight . Just too tired and guess what ? Shingles vaccine did not work for me.

There are lots of DIY blokes in our family and they all disagree with methodology, tools required etc etc. Lol. I think all shops are slowing down. Everywhere I go seems to be nearly empty apart from the garage and the Supermarkets. I had to fill my daughters car up and it is normally 135 today was 158. Not good, I'm knitting a second milo . I also when I have spare time am enrolled in an online weaving course. On the third lesson and loving it ha ha.

Wasn't a difficult project but very satisfying results. LOL. And still I am on the same dolls coat I started on Sunday. I am 3/4 through the book I started in the weekend though. The Powerfit 'shaky, shaky' thing from the TV shop arrived yesterday so we were playing for quite a while with it last night. That's going to be a bit of a laugh, I reckon.

I was tired tonight and tried to knit but made so many mistakes I had to undo it all so I threw it in the naughty corner ha ha. My son's ex Partner gave me a bag of clothes hat E had grown out of. There were some lovely dresses that we had bought for her plus some that M had grown out of. She had not worn some. Labels still on sigh. Some people have very different tastes, Never mind Ill give them to my great nieces for their girls. I felt a tad sad as E had asked me to buy her one particular dress and she never got to wear it. Ill keep three that she still too small for her and she can wear them when she is here ha ha. I'm off to bed as J7 has the bug now so he will be staying at home tomorrow.

Oh begger I did that with curtains in my grandson's flat grrr. Landlord wanted to charge him for new ones as he was leaving. Was only there for 6 months. Tenancy Tribunal just laughed at him. Carpet cleaning was also a no go as we had taken photos and the carpet was cleaner than when he moved in ha ha. J seemed better today no vomiting. He and M are in their school play tomorrow night so he is stressing because he does not want to miss it.

Great Play. So much fun. K was rolling in his seat watching his cousins. I have been trying for 30 minutes to register my new PaknSave Christmas Club Card as the old one wont scan anymore. Women's Group is off to an Iris Garden just outside Christchurch this morning for Devonshire Teas. Last activity for them this term with school holidays starting again next week. They came round quick.

Age range is abot 40- 85 at present. Younger ones come now and then but don't get involved as much. It was a lovely outing with beautiful scones and jam. LOL. Once I was back in the office though the day went down hill from there. Sigh. Businesses I have contacted to do some work haven't followed through on promises, difficult conversations with staff, a nasty headache, texts to say one friend's husband is in hospice care at present and my other friend's time has been reduced to 3 months now. Came home to go out for dinner with daughter S and B9 to have her venting the whole time about her partner and that her benign tumours can't be removed now because her blood pressure is to low. Her beautiful cat has also been missing for 5 days so we are all upset about that. He was the only surviving kitten in a sack thrown in the river 7 months ago. Trouble is, he is so friendly he may followed someone who made a fuss of him.

I did 4 hours work on my Maori Land research today and then had two long conversations with my sisters about things I had found out. Much better day yesterday, I tried hard to put the strategies learned on Tuesday for regulating emotions into place. LOL. I dealt to those businesses that had not followed through plus another of our major funders came through with a bit more this year. Phew! Today I get 2 hours of cross stitch around lunch time.i. is racing this weekend if the weather stasys fun for Sunday. I really worry about him now and not sure whether it's easier going with him or worrying at home where at least I can keep busy.

No I am not having fun ha ha. I have been so busy the last three days I seem to fall asleep in my chair and crawl into bed at midnight, Life is hectic at the moment but tomorrow will be more restful ha ha. M is off to a school holiday programme and her Mum and brother are away for a few days. We have a Community Garage Sale on in a fortnight so M10 and I have been packing and pricing stuff. Today we had to wash all the dolls and their clothes she is selling, Price the books and games and we have not sorted the clothes yet. My lounge is full of boxes and containers once again sigh. I sent my Hurricane Victim her parcel of wool on Friday and even though it cost me $26 I was happy to get it sent. How awful to lose everything. She and her husband live in a small place with only a little general store that didn't have even a crochet Hook never mind wool. I can understand your concern over I and his racing. I started another Milo tonight. I'm getting a stash of them for the Local Charity. Well I'm knackered so its bed for me.

I had to work on the programme yesterday with 2 staff away sick. Wasn't a bad day just tiring, I slept well last night. LOL.
