Made the sunflower loaf off the back of the flour and it is really good. My first proper loaf in my new breadmaker. Light and tasty. Will post the recipe if anyone wants it. I made it as a pumpkin and sunflower loaf.

Pastry flour I've decided to make ciabatta today and the recipe calls for pastry flour. What is this? I've just used what I have in the pantry so mine will probably be odd. Unfortunately I read this thread after I started so already have my batter sitting in a cupboard for 14 hours. Seem to be much quicker options in this thread. Should have known to look here first.

Sunflower Seed Bread Breadmaker Recipe: 3 tsp Edmonds Surebake yeast (I have been using Tasti Breadmaker yeast and it has been working fine), 2 cups high grade flour, 1 cup wholemeal flour, 2 Tbsp whole milk powder, 3/4 cup toasted sunflower seeds (I put half of pumpkin too)m 1 tsp salt, 1 Tbsp sugar, 2 Tbsp vegetable oil, 300ml warm water.
Place all ingredients in the breadmaker pan in the order recommended in the machine instruction manual. Place pan in breadmaker. Select Wheat bake cycle. Press start. This bread can be made using the delayed start function.

It was different.. not sure if I would make it again.. maybe with smooth peanut butter rather than crunchy.

Thanks Bunny Happy camper here. So proud of the loaves that I am getting out of the Sunbeam Quatum Smartbake now.
Their recipe had too much flour. I put in 500grams not 600 like they say and I am working out the yeast as you say 1 tsp to 1 cup flour.
Just been making the 750gm one as that is big enough for us but next week have visitors so will try the bigger loaves.

Cheese Rolls or loaves Makes 12 rolls or 2 small loaves. 230 ml water, 5 tbsp oil, 450 gm flour, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp salt, 2 tbsp milk powder, 3 tsp breadmaker yeast (red top surebake). Put on dough cycle in breadmaker. Once out divide into 12 long rolls or two loaves and let sit rise for 30 mins. Sprinkle with cheese and bake at 180 for between 15-20 mins or until golden. Yummo!

Thank you juliewn After years of just flicking the switch on my breadmaker I decided to get back to basics and handmake some bread using your wonderful recipe & instructions at the beginning of this thread. I made the grains & seeds variation in a large round cake tin and it was fantastic. Took it to a potluck meal last night where it received huge praise. Thanks again!
