NZ (and Australian revenue catalogue on line. This wonderful web site has a URL problem for non bigpond users. to solve the problem simply add in the www before the rest of the URL so that the main page for it is http://www.users.bigpond.net.au/dave1/index/
You will also need to add in the www for any other pages until Dave gets it fixed.

regards,
Steven

Revenue Catalogue. You are right Steven a great site and long overdue especially for all if not most of the NZ revenues and Dave is always ready to help and to give informed advice.
I have been operating out of the old 2000 Kiwi- Stirling Cat for years and it is way out of date.Dave's site is being updated almost on a daily basis and can only get better especially with collectors contributions (new finds,Flaws,Printing oddities etc).
Regards Paul.

# 770, the best prices for these are around $ 15 - 20. I find, ,I wouldn't plan a retirement, even for all the glamour and colour they come with, even the signed ones are not worth a lot more.

1915 Kings head stamps Sorry to be a dolt, but I was looking at some stamps I have and they are from 1915. Plain little ones with a Kings head on them. All the same, but different cost.Any worth? Also...is an 'official' stamp worth more, and what does it mean?

fhpottery - 2008-09-09 19:45:00

fhpottery 1915 KGV Recess and Recess officials
have a range of worth depending on if they are Mint or Used and how fresh and clean they are on the backs. The catalogue lists the 1915 "Official" 8d Brown at $395 for a top condition used one. In contrast the 'Plain' 8d Brown is listed in the catalogue at $8 for a fine used one.

Stamp Fair Christchurch. I had to pick up and pay for some Trademe winnings from Gary Tavendale and it looked like another successful Stamp Fair, usual mix of collectors plus a some more new faces. Eight individual Collector tables in all.Two more than last time.

hinged mint or mint no gum? Hi, I was just wondering what others prefer to have or which are more valuable; mint with no gum or heavily hinged mint? Particularly with stamps from 1990 - 1940.

792 Thanks Donaldo. Personally I like the backs of stamps to be clean without hinge marks. I was just interested to see what others thought.
