Yes she will be. It will no doubt be a great week for B8 staying with you for awhile before they have their own place.
I'm still pretty sore but the coughing is easing.
I forgot today and tried to hang washing. What a dope I was reaching up and nearly blacked out with the pain. Thought I was having a heart attack and then remembered my ribs. Old age now I have dementia ha ha. Shouldn't joke about that. I'm feeling a lot better psychologically and that's the main thing. The mind is willing but the body isn't lol.
Half way through a black Shawl for myself for funerals gah. Its just that at my age I seem to have to go to a lot of them. I finished the Fingerless mitts and M10 grabbed them ha ha. I have to finish the brown toned shawl but 4ply is no good at the moment.
There is nothing worse than feeling seedy all the time . I hope you start improving soon. How much longer for this course?

Ouch for hanging washing!! This round of pills finishes on Tuesday morning next week. Would have been Monday night but was feeling so bad yesterday I forgot to take the evening ones. Talk about dementia!! I was so angry with myself but they have to be taken with a meal so no way I was going to eat that much at 9pm when I remembered. I took in to shop yesterday the finished dolls coat plus a pair of teddy's pjs. I have started a 4ply crossover baby's cardy, the back is done and half way up first front.

Oh rats about forgetting the meds. I have one more 500 antibiotic to take. Finished the prendezone. That's awful stuff. Now I feel like a bloated whale, ha ha. It will take a week or so for my stomach to settle and then Ill be happy lol. I'm improving. T came to visit me today with a Cyclamen and lunch to cheer me up. I gave her the shawl I made her and she spent awhile trying to get different looks with it ha ha. I should have the black one done tomorrow. I cant knit for long and I have to have a break, Ribs get twinchy. Is that even a word? We are going to make some things for the Hospital for our weekend in November so I am sorting out baby wool for that. Its raining here now.

makerealbany - 2017-05-16 22:52:00
7904

Yep, raining here as well. I got through yesterday and even finished the first front of the wee cardy once I got home. Today the Women's group are doing their art work on canvas and incorporating their living air plant. LOL, I hope they are still living once they finish. It'll be a big group of 18 if they all turn up as indicated.

grizzly4 - 2017-05-17 07:03:00
7905

OMG its late, I just finished my black shawl and did one point of my cream and brown shawl. Feeling a lot better. Still coughing but at lest I don't feel as if my chest is being torn apart. Hope the group work went ok. My hyacinths have flowered and the smell is wafting through my cottage. Hopefully it will lull me to sleep ha ha.

makerealbany - 2017-05-18 00:26:00
7906

I thought I had a late night last night but I had been asleep for a couple of hours when you posted your message! LOL. Yep, the group went fine but I was unwell all through it so came home soon after. Sleep seems to be the only relief some times. L is 10 today so party food at our place tonight for tea. 2nd front of cardy done and on my way up first sleeve.

grizzly4 - 2017-05-18 07:12:00
7907

Thought I was well enough to get out of the house so I went to the supermarket. Big mistake lol Came home exhausted, threw the frozen in the freezer and dropped on my bed. a couple of hours later I tried to get out of bed and my back is really beggared. All the coughing and nursing the ribs hasn't helped my back. So I'm like a bent old lady shuffling around ha ha. I seriously need a reboot. Managed to knit a couple of points tonight. Went to bed cannot settle so up again grrr.
Hope L had a nice day.
Here I am moaning my head off and you are battling through your health issues. I need a kick. Sorry my friend. I wish we could wave a wand and start again all healthy sigh. big hugs.

makerealbany - 2017-05-19 00:08:00
7908

You don't need a kick at all and the big hugs are returned twofold! I'm the one that needs to sort myself out. There are people around me who are so much worse off. Despite my moaning i'm still at work most of the time etc. It's actually work that I'm really worried for, moneywise. I would love to see into the future to see if all comes right in the end and this is just a glitch.
Maybe you need a fancy holiday somewhere! It's been a while for you hasn't it?

grizzly4 - 2017-05-19 06:55:00
7909

Ha ha Holiday yes in the future though. I am feeling much better in myself today if you know what I mean. I have to clean my cottage. What a shambles. You do what you can each day but today I really need to get into it.
I am feeling motivated and the nice thing is I can flop into my chair when I get tired for a wee break or snooze ha ha.
A has those Super King Pillows and the slips cost a fortune so as soon as I get the cleaning done Ill sort out some material for them. She bought two and they were $40 each ugh.
I have some panels in the stash so hunt will be on lol,
Its raining here still and the dogs are tucked up in their kennels on the porch. They are supposed to be inside dogs but they complain to get outside to their kennels. P the oldest one will happily doze inside in his bed but not the other two. Ah well less hassle for me ha ha.

THank goodness the rain has stopped here this morning and I'm glad to hear you are feeling better. We are moving S back home with us today. She has her own place to move into in a couple of weeks but thought she was safer here while 'things' cool down. B8 will have a week with us too. LOL. There goes the peace and quiet.

grizzly4 - 2017-05-20 08:55:00
7911

I had to go and pick up E5 for the weekend. I still cant bend properly so A has her spending the night over there to E's delight. I slept all afternoon. Had an awful headache when I got back. It always happens when I finish the Meds. feeling better now. I have 4 rows to finish my cream to brown shaw. Just couldn't do it ha ha.
Still raining here off and on with a lousy wind.

makerealbany - 2017-05-20 22:50:00
7912

I. and son S have gone off racing and it's only 10 degrees!!! They are mad but so was I getting up at 6am to pack a lunch for them. With daughter S in the house I was able to go back to bed for a sleep in with no earthquake phobias hanging over me. LOL.

grizzly4 - 2017-05-21 09:47:00
7913

Good for you going back to bed. I dropped E to her Mum at the park and came home to a love Roast Pork Dinner. I cooked a Carrot cake and we had some of that for pudding. I'm getting my appetite back lol. Finished the shawl Ill take some photos tomorrow and send to you. Started a Navy Blue one for my grandson's girlfriend. I wanted to start a Brickless shawl but have to do this first. I need 580 mts for the Brickless so I will have to search my stash ha ha. The Brickless is by the same designer who made the Hitch hiker.
I'm only drop to school this week. A is flat out working so no rest for the wicked ha ha.

makerealbany - 2017-05-21 22:39:00
7914

Brrr! I guess you're not having to do the school run in -2 degrees this morning. It's very chilly here but dry at least. My house is a bit busier than normal with 2 extra people here. LOL. BUt at least our routines look as if they'll work out together. I finished the wee cardy with beanie and bootees to match plus I had a bunny left so did a matching jersey for him as well to go with the set.

grizzly4 - 2017-05-22 06:16:00
7915

-2 no thank you . It was cold here . First frosts. My car was all iced up. Everyone wore gloves and beanies this morning lol. There were some wonderful colours and knits out there. I had to go to [post a parcel after dropping the kids off and I had to wait until P O opened so was admiring all the knitting. Its coming back it really is.
That sounds like a lovely set you just finished.
I even got the washing nearly dry today. 30 minutes in front of A's fireplace and it was dry tonight. M goes off to Drama class on a Monday night so I popped in to mind J5 and folded the washing.
It must be nice having them stay for awhile. I'm always happy to have family come and stay and then happy when they leave ha ha. That's what happens when you live alone for years.

I'd love to be able to pass on your secret of successful living on your own. I'm terrified she'll go back to this guy. Sigh. Last lot of pills for this round this morning. Thank goodnesss. I really need a break from them as I feel sick within half an hour of taking them these days. We are taking B8 to McDonald's tonight as S is going out with one of her friends she used to work with. I've started a fairisle cardy in 8ply using up left over bits. Looks good (nearly finished back) but as usually happens I need to go match 2 of the colours as I'm not going to have enough. So much for using up leftovers or is it just creating more? LOL. I have a meeting with 2 City Council staff this afternoon about discretionary funding that could be available. I'm not holding out much hope but keeping all fingers crossed.

grizzly4 - 2017-05-23 06:36:00
7917

Good luck with that. We used to get funding from the City Council.
I certainly hope S does not go back. Ill cross my fingers as well.
Thank goodness you can have a break from the meds now. I hate feeling nausea when you are on meds. Its like a double whammy.
I'm taking Probiotics as well as my vitamins to try and get my stomach healthy again. Always goes to pot after Antibiotics.
I got bored with knitting just Navy Blue so I'm adding a bright yellow ha ha.

makerealbany - 2017-05-23 22:59:00
7918

Yay for yellow! Love it! Meeting went as well as can be expected, I guess. They have accepted an application for Discretionary funding to help with some invoices coming in but have to wait to see how much we get. I apply to Council for funding annually and that has to be completed within next week as well but don't get results till August. Went to Knitworld yesterday and matched the colours I was short of so half way up first front now.

grizzly4 - 2017-05-24 06:50:00
7919

I had J5 today as he was coughing last night. Seemed ok today but see how he goes tonight for his Mum. I spent the day cooking. Filling casserole containers. I also made a Curried Rice Salad and a Bean Salad to put in the fridge. My Lunches ha ha. I cooked some apples as they are really cheap here at the moment. Meant to make a pie but had to take J inside at 4 to cook his tea. bath him and get him into bed by 6. M does two hours Gymnastic training on Wed night. He wanted Tacos lol. I had cooked a big container of spiced mince so that was easy.
came back in at 7 ,30. Ive knitted a few points. I actually love the yellow with the navy blue. Much brighter.
The girls keep telling me to rest up for Friday Night. I think they might be taking me to a show so I'm trying to rest ha ha,

makerealbany - 2017-05-24 23:06:00
7920

How exciting! I wonder where you are going. The Women's Group went to MOna Vale for morning tea yesterday which should have been a relatively easy morning but it's got to be quite a big group now and the noise alone is exhausting. LOL. I lasted at work till 2 then came home for a sleep. B had sports after school so they weren't home till nearly 5 thank goodness. Trouble was visitoers from Australia arrived after tea and stayed till 10!! I am so tired this morning I would love to stay home but funding applications are calling....

grizzly4 - 2017-05-25 06:35:00
7921

Oh you poor thing. Well T made a mistake and didn't check the booking so the show was last night and she realised this morning so I am at home tomorrow night and they wasted their money sigh. I don't mind missing out lol Still not 100% and I cant deal with noise either at the moment.
I'm half way through my Shawl and its looking ok. There is a big wool fest up here on Saturday but I just got some online so I'm not going ha ha.

makerealbany - 2017-05-25 23:09:00
7922

Very wise not going to the Wool Fest. Wouldn't do your budget any good at all!!! LOL. I am half way up the 2nd sleeve on the cardy I'm working on, loving working with all the pastel colours. Put in a good days work on funding yesterday and our GiveaLittle page went live yesterday so here's hoping that helps with some of the running costs. More crossed fingers. LOL.

My spelling or my typing is getting worse. LOL.

grizzly4 - 2017-05-26 07:05:00
7924

So is mine but not to worry ha ha. I am so tempted to go and have a look at the Wool Fest to meet some of the people I buy wool off. Ill see how I go ha ha. You are so busy at work. Takes me back to where I do not want to go ha ha. Ill cross my fingers for you as well. My wool arrived from the Wool Warehouse in England today. Only a week which is faster than parcels in NZ. That's says a lot doesn't it.

makerealbany - 2017-05-27 00:26:00
7925

A week from England is amazing! I've just printed off 3 free patterns for adult tops and cardigans from a site called Allfreeknitting. I might do some knitting for myself for spring. LOL. The fairisle cardy is nearly finished - just 3 rows on the neckband to go and the buttons. Really pleased with it. Raining here today and all 3 boys will be here this afternoon so I'm thinking I might take them swimming. Was hoping I'd get the outside of my windows done today but not likely now. I'd get wetter than the windows. LOL.

grizzly4 - 2017-05-27 10:29:00
7926

Only 2 boys yesterday, B12 made other plans after his League game. LOL. Took L10 and B8 swimming and son S joined in too which was great. So frustrating with daughter S at present. She has spent 2 evenings with the bloke she has just left and last night took B8 for a sleepover. Talk about confusing the child! I could scream at her right now I'm so frustrated.
Cardigan finished and I'm knitting dolls clothes for the Toy fundraising table we are having at work next week. We had a recipe book sales table for a couple of weeks which a bit of money, hopefully the toys will be more popular. Just need to keep the families into the swing of it, they don't seem to be used to these sorts of community type ideas anymore.

grizzly4 - 2017-05-28 10:30:00
7927

Omg I would scream along with you. What the hell is that girl doing. Its not fair on B8. She ought to grow up and wake up grrrr. Our kids drive us nuts at times.
Having said that I had a reasonable day with my eldest son. We went to lunch and when we were going into Subway he saw two homeless people he knows sitting outside the mission. They looked so hungry so I told him to bring them inside with us and we all ate together. My son has mental health problems and they all know each other these days. I was glad they ate with us. They kept thanking us. I felt so bad for them. The guy serving us asked what they wanted and they said the cheapest thing on the menu. I told him to give them a 12 in . I told them to get whatever they wanted. Afterwards the young man told me it was the first time he had ever had subway.
The problem is as my son says they have no family support because their families cannot deal with it. So sad.
He got a bit stress later . We had to drive down the bottom of the city to the only place to top up his Bus card. All the roads were either one way streets or closed. It was a nightmare and he gets tetchy when he's faced with things like that. Not ever doing that again. When I got home tonight I checked and I can renew it online so I rang him to tell him and he was very happy ha ha. The last time we did it I got lost and had to use my phone to get me back to where I had dropped him off.
I have nearly finished the yellow and blue shawlette but started a brown beanie for my grandson while I was waiting for my bread to cook tonight. I'm experimenting again with a different sourdough starter lol. I ran out of the yellow wool which is in the top plastic container of my wool stash. I could not be bothered climbing up to get it tonight so put it aside ha ha.
My niece does a lot of Voluntary work for a Community Group . My sister and G are really getting worn out. She works full time as well. My sister said shell do it for one more year and then step back as it is very hard when you don't have lots of physical support and people who get used to doing nothing to help themselves.
Well I had better drop into bed ha ha

It's quiet here this morning witn B back at his Dad's and S stayed out overnight again. Sigh. Whether she goes back to him or into the house she has organised she needs to be out of here by the weekend. It's just too much. Long day ahead with blood tests this morning but I don't get to see oncologist till 5.40pm. Means I also can't pick the pills till tomorrow so won't be starting them till tomorrow night for Round 6. I managed to work in the garden for awhile yesterday and then have lunch at the mall. By the time I walked around the shops I was knackered and fell asleep for an hour when we got home.

grizzly4 - 2017-05-29 06:32:00
7929

Yes I agree it is too much. The silly woman. You need to look after yourself not be worrying about her stupid decisions. Why the hell cant some woman survive on their own without a man. I'm angry with S. This is the time she should be thinking of you and her son instead of running after him. What does I think of it all?
How many more Rounds have you got after Round 6 ? Its a long road for you . I do not know how you cope with work and all that stress on top of all this. Big hugs girl and next time say NO.
Good on you having a nap. You need them but you never get time.

makerealbany - 2017-05-29 22:56:00
7930

I. worries that if I say too much she'll cut ties with us but he agrees totally aboutI feel about it all. In regards to the naps they just happen whenever they want to at my computer at work, everytime I sit in my armchair etc LOL. So far no one else was at work when it's happened there and I do wake at the slightest notice. LOL. Cat naps aren't they? I am having 8 rounds of chemo all up and that had better be the end of all this. My last day of pills will be 25 July, our 37th wedding anniversary, and it can't come fast enough.
I feel like we've turned a bit of a corner at work with 2 funders approving grants to be paid out within the week. I'm also speaking to lots of key people about a funding strategy for the future so building lots of connections. Heard from our local MP yesterday in regards to meeting up so that's a positive as well. Went to bed last night over thinking events for the community to help build our profile.
How are feeling this week? Cough gone yet? And shawl finished? I'm knitting dolls bottees and Barbie clothes for the Toy fundraising table at work this week. It's so cute seeing the children walk in with a toy to donate to the table and a bit of pocket money to buy something as well. Love it when a plan comes together.

Yep I'm into Nana naps ha ha. Anywhere anytime.
You are over half way there girl with the Chemo. Well done. I understand completely about it being over and done with.
That good news about the funding. Stay positive,
My cough is nearly gone. I'm on drop off and pick up this week. A has a major Application to get through so I am helping out. Sil home on Thursday whoop whoop.
I'm still sore in the chest and I nurse it so I throw my hips out duh. Deep Heat has been busy each night ha ha.
Yes kids love that sort of thing. Sometimes they come home with as much as they donated lol.
I blocked two shawls today. Have to post photos on the Ipad tomorrow.

WAs trying to get a Barbie jacket done last night. Usually takes about an hour all but last night I dozed off 3 times! Finally finished at 10.30pm and went to bed. LOL. Won't be raising much at that rate.LOL. You are so right about the kids buying as much as they are donating, there was some high finance going on yesterday and some wheeling and dealing. They are loving it! Women's Group are doing art works on canvas with lots of varieties of seeds today. Another day with large numbers expected so I will be knackered this afternoon. Have a doctor's appointment booked for 4.15 so can leave early anyway. Need to renew my usual prescriptions. Can't be without my inhaler at this time of year.

I know that feeling ha ha. I had a run around and get nowhere day today. Dropped kids at school than dropped my car in. They lent me a car that looked fabulous but was a real dog to drive grrr. Get home and they ring and say they had to replace a hose and car should be fine. Drive all the way back and pick up the car. Drive 100 metres down the road and the engine light comes on. I had to pick up some things at the shops so I did that, rang the car people and I have to take it back. Told them Id it on Monday. By that time I had to pick up the kids from school. Get home and get changed and I was off again at 4 to take M to gymnastics. Home at 7.30. Feeling so darn tired I'm off to bed 6am starts are getting to me lol.

I'm finding getting out of bed in the morning this week very hard. Just want to sleep. I don't want to take time off work if I don't have to and S has 2 dauys off now to move into her house so it will be chaotic here with her doing that. She can't move the big things till Saturday morning so who knows why she is starting the other stuff today. I'm better off out of it. LOL.

grizzly4 - 2017-06-01 07:01:00
7936

Yes you are, Now that it is getter colder particularly where you are it would be getting harder to get out of bed for people who like you are under going treatment. Sleep any time you can. Tomorrow my daughter is home whoop whoop. I can get up at 7. My Sil arrives home at 4 this morning.
M has an audition tomorrow for a Holiday Ad. They are shooting at the beach so it will be cold, ugh,
She is excited,
I blocked another black shawl tonight. Finished the second Beanie. Found the yellow wool to finish the one I had stashed in the naughty corner ha ha.
I received a loved Royal Yarn swap. Ill send you a photo.
Well its bed for me again. ha ha

Got home yesterday to find S had had moved all her things out! Never said anything beforehand that she had brought forward her moving date and who was in my home with her to move the big stuff? Though she would have text or come to see us last night but no! I'm pretty angry over her lack of courtesy. What is it with people these days that it's all about them?! I'm hoping things at work have turned a corner, it looks like 4 of the funding applications completed recently are going to reap results, maybe not big amounts but still..... fingers crossed. Ideas are still coming through from key people I have recently met with and local MP is visiting on 13th. It's all about making ourselves known a bit better, I guess.
I'm glad your family is going to be home to give you a break. What jobs do have lined up for SIL this trip? LOL. I am over knitting BArbie clothes so I'm knitting a layette for a baby doll I have sitting here. It can go in shop once finished.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G day at work yesterday, and to think I was going to give in to feeling tired and stay home! A substantial donation has been received from an application I only put in a week ago and we've never received this sort of amount before, some of the conversations I have had with key people are starting to pay off with what looks like a contract about to be offered that will not only bring in a bit of money but also increase our profile. I know we have to be careful with our finances still (not that we are ever careless) but a corner has been turned and it looks like doors are opening that may not have if we hadn't had to go through some dark times first.
I was brave enough this morning to stay in bed till 8.30 even with I. leaving at 6am to go watch the ATV Champs in Timaru with son S and L10. A day to myself, yahoo.

Congrats about the Funding that is great. Yes you are right when I got out and talked to other groups and Organisation we got excellent results.
S is very naughty and fancy having him in your home after all that nonsense . She needs her head read. I would have been furious with her.
Yesterday was full on for me. I had three children to look after until 10,30 today. I am a bit tired ha ha. Little E5 is here I picked her up yesterday at 10 and it was go, go, go from then on. I was annoyed with her Mum who has gone overseas for 8 days. Poor E had been treated for lice and she has such fine hair. I spent hours removing the dead nits from her hair. I only had her a fortnight ago and I always check her hair as I do with all our babies. She had a rash on her neck so the treatment irritated her scalp as she has very sensitive skin. So hot washes for her clothes, towels and sheets today and it will be the same tomorrow. She is clear now but it only takes one grrrr. She tells me she only showers once every two days. Also told me she tells her Mum she has one every day at Nanas, I always wash her hair because it always seems to need it. Sigh. Mind you I was never impressed with her Mother's idea of cleanliness.
When I picked her up her other Nana told me she didn't know what nits looked like. She has never had any children so missed out on all that fun lol. Because E's mother's parents are both remarried E has three Nanas.
I took her up to T's tonight for tea and we brought M back she has been there since yesterday.
I wanted to start some knitting but no time and I still have washing to fold and put away.
Hope you enjoyed the day to yourself. I'm still waiting for mine ha ha.

L10 and nearly had a day to ourselves today with everyone else out to mor racing. Got up early to sort our breakfast and lunches for them all, loaded the car and the msg came through to say it's been cancelled because of the rain! They are all here wondering what to do for the day. Sigh. So much for peace. Hope your day works out for you today.
I found a new wool shop on Saturday called Crucci Magic - such a beautiful shop and I managed to find some good deals, too. Spent 3 hours browsing in shops, came home at 2 for a sandwich and woke up and 4.45!!!! Just in time to get roast veges organised. Really enjoyed my day though.

Good day and you deserve it. Took E back to her other Nana and then went in to have tea with my eldest son. I started a different pattern for a shawl but after an hour didn't like the wool ha ha. Don't get me wrong its beautiful wool but the pattern is better I think in a plain wool so I frogged it back and Ill start again tomorrow. I also have black beanies to do so started one of those but too dark to knit at night so I'm going to bed just as soon as I cake up the wool to start tomorrow. Ive got some charity knitting I have to do as well ha ha,

makerealbany - 2017-06-05 22:48:00

Sounds like your knitting projects are a full time job! LOL. Yesterday was a waste really, I coudn't get warm so spent day huddled under a blanket in my chair, dozing. Still working on a layette for a doll I'm dressing for shop. Slow process at present.

grizzly4 - 2017-06-06 06:47:00

Yes its not so warm here today. I crawled out of bed to take T to the vet for his vaccinations . The Business has sold and it was $30 more than last time grrrr. May have to start looking around again. We have been going there for years. Came home and procrastinated. lol. I did cake my wool up and started the new pattern. Did two inches on a black beanie and threw it in the bag ha ha. Couldn't be bothered to cook tea so I had some salads. Feeling lazy after the weekend.

I love that you are being lazy! As long as you are feeling well again. I'm on the second front of a dolls matinee jacket, then just the yoke to do. Have done singlet and leggings already. Will do a bonnet and blanket as well I think.
Remember the kafuffle I created when offering to buy L10 shoes earlier in the year? He turned up on Monday wearing new shoes again which surprised me but he was so chuffed with himself as he had just bought 2 new pairs with the last of his birthday money! How responsible is that? And i great balance betwen spending it on toys he won't want in a couple of weeks time and having nice things that don't necessarily fit into family budgets. I am so proud of him.

I would be too. What an amazing boy.
I did a black Beanie and worked on my shawl. Noticed an error so I have to frog back three rows grrrr. Glad I noticed it before I went any further.
Cooked two large casseroles to freeze and made some Pumpkin and Orange Chutney. Never made it before and it is rather too hot for my taste but the boys and grandsons will love it ha ha. Havent started the Charity knitting yet. Ill do it next week.

Your days are so productive! I finally heard from daughter S this morning after a week of silence after she moved out. Apparently she is really sick despite her 'flu shot. So is B8. Sigh, oh well not sure what I can do except offer to put her washing in my dryer during these cold, gray days. Really struggling to stay warm, myself. It was lovely seeing the sun for a while yesterday.

I wear scarves everywhere and my hat outside. Today I had so many woollies on I looked like a polar bear ha ha. The heat pump is great but have to wipe down the windows when I get up. I cannot sleep with a heat pump on at night. I put the dehumidifier on for two hours in my bedroom in the mornings. Teddy sleeps inside at night. Even he is giving up his kennel on the porch ha ha. He spends his days inside in the warmth. He is 12 now. Dunhill stays on my bed as if to say 'This is my Domain dog' ha ha. I had to go and post parcels and buy some thermals for my son today and was glad to get home. Working on the latest shawl which will take ages but its starting to take shape now. Stay warm.

I stayed home yesterday as not feeling great and daughter S came over. We talked for 4 hours!! I think the counselling she is having is on the right track thank goodness and her partner (B) is undergoing counselling plus an anger management course. The house she has moved into has not turned out as well as she had hoped with difficult neighbours in terms of noise and lots of repairs needed. She definitely didn't have her property manager's hat on when she decided to take it.She is a great organiser usually so I have suggested she plans some treats for her and B8 such as a trip to Brisbane to see her friend and a weekend in Wellington to do the Weta Workshoop tour. I have also sufggested she get back in touch with the riding school she went to a teenager. It's still run by the same person who remembers S and it would be so good for her with or without B8. She seems keen about all 3 so far. We'll see.....
