OMG, what is it with parents not putting their kids first?! Thank goodness your family rallies when one of the children needs you. I get really frustrated with how B11's biological father treats him. And now he and his wife are having a third son of their own. B is still sleeping on the couch every second weekend when he is has to go there. the Dad rarely turns up to take him to league practice on his week but now he is all over him now he's in the rep team! Grrrr, like you said.

Bathroom was really cold this morning to have a shower. I couldn't get the wall switch to turn on the heater. Suffered then told I. who tried the little cord that we don't use since it is so high up (that's why it's wired into a wall switch).Works fine now! Either B or L9 must have been fiddling with it yesterday. Double Grrr! LOL.

grizzly4 - 2016-08-28 09:26:00
7503

Not the best day yesterday although we did spend the morning tidying the front garden. I have started the romper set, have done both legs of the front so far and working my way up the body. I like it so far LOL. Always a bit of a gamble with new patterns.

I spent yesterday playing with my great grandson ha ha. After he left I cleaned my bedroom. Dust gets everywhere Grrr. Auckland has loads of pollen and dust everywhere . All our cars are covered with it. All the kids have hay fever. I am sneezing as well. Dr gave A heaps of antihistamine because J5 has a cough, runny eyes, etc. A has hay fever.
Dr says it will be like this right through Spring. I crocheted flowers the other night and added them to my stash in a shoebox. Have to mind J so no sewing today although I did get all our baking done. I don't sneeze inside its only when I go out.
I'm sorting more materials out tonight for my quilt. I've got two on the go at once ha ha.
Yes my grandchildren fiddle all the time ha ha.

makerealbany - 2016-08-29 21:11:00
7505

What are you going to use the stash of flowers for? I'm very curious. LOL. I'm working on the cable top of the front of the rompers. They are knitting up faster than I expected.

grizzly4 - 2016-08-30 06:40:00
7506

I'll put some in a blanket but M8 likes them on headbands and hats. J is still sick with a nasty virus. Temps up a bit today sigh. He's cheerful enough but really coughing. What with housework in two places, minding J and trying to get him to do his schoolwork I'm worn out by the time A and M8 get home. I came over home and fell asleep ha ha. Nana nap for an hour. Phone calls all night and no sewing or knitting.

makerealbany - 2016-08-30 23:12:00
7507

You are being run ragged again, makerealbany! Don't you go catching this virus J has!! I got home from work and the sun was still shining (admittedly I did leave a bit earlier) So sat and read my book for a while. LOL. I. came home and washed the quad bike so I continued reading and we had a late tea. Almost felt like Summer. I wish. One of the old historic houses here in Christchurch has re-opened to the public so the Women's group are off for morning tea there today. Should be very pleasant.
I have finished the front of the rompers and part way up the back of the first leg of the back.

grizzly4 - 2016-08-31 06:28:00
7508

I'm getting that darn virus. Poor J coughed all day . We'll be taking him back to the Dr if he's no better tomorrow. Viruses can change rapidly with him and with me sigh. Lovely day . Washed and tried the kids Quilts today. I have a timetable up so I can do J's schoolwork with him. He's not keen but I slip in Ten minute breaks so he's doing okay. He is not eating as well either. He's a solid little boy with a healthy appetite usually .Have to do it in the morning because he's exhausted by 1. Reading, writing and maths. He's as bright as a button but has trouble retaining his writing skills. J21 was the same and she wrote backwards as well. Look at her now. She's passed her first exam well. I think she's lonely down there.
J loves to draw so that's what he does when he's tired.
Had visitors tonight so off to bed now ha ha.

makerealbany - 2016-08-31 22:05:00
7509

Oh no! I hope you don't get sick again, you don't deserve that. Our B8 is a bit like that with his writing, too. I think the ideas he is trying to write about are coming so fast that the message to his hand can't keep up. LOL.
Yay, the first day of Spring is here! We have had a very mild winter compared to the storms up your way but it is just really good to know the days are going to get lighter sooner now.

6 years ago I was black and blue by now from the first of those dreadful earthquakes and as we mentioned it this morning we hear of a 7.1 off the East Cape! I feel for them waking up to that. Both son and daughter were here by now with their families sitting in candle light because we had no power and searching the cupboards to feed the boys, the day before doing groceries. Once it was daylight I. and son S. went out to see if there was dairy open to buy a loaf of bread. LOL, we had no idea how bad it was till they saw the churches on the main road down. And nothing open for bread. Little did we know there was far worse to come a few months down the track. However the damage was already done to our house and my leg. The February 'quake wasn't going to make those any worse. Memories, eh? LOL.

grizzly4 - 2016-09-02 06:37:00
7511

The Women's Group on Wednesday are having a craft 'left overs' day. LOL. this is when I clear out the resource cupboard and they get to choose their individual activity for the day. I realised I am also storing a stack of polar fleece from our cuddly blanket activity ages ago. Yesterday I found out one of the women I am working with on a local community project is having her 5th baby at the end of the year! She is a lovely young woman so I'm thinking I might make a cuddly for her baby. This weekend I now need to work out templates for a 3D teddy bear that I could build up in the centre of it. I'm on a mission but I won't be giving it to her till our last meeting at the end of November.

grizzly4 - 2016-09-03 07:30:00
7512

You ok, makerealbany?
I finished the rompers last night and I'm part way up the back of the wee jacket to match. I am really impressed with the shoulder straps as they have matching cables on them.

grizzly4 - 2016-09-04 10:24:00
7513

Sorry I'm feeling dreadful. On Friday I had to deal with a legal matter and was popping throat lozenges to stop coughing. I have got worse as the weekend progressed. Runny nose, headache, eyes and ears throbbing, etc.
Omg 6 years ago. It seems like yesterday doesn't It? For some poor people down there still living in awful conditions it must be hell. Can't believe people are still fighting to get insurance, etc.
I have lots of family on the East Coast. Gave some of them a jolt.
Ok I'm getting fed up , just got through another Box of tissues. I'm starting to miss skin Grrr. Temps up and so is my blood pressure ha ha.
She'll love the Teddy Bear Cuddly 3D aye you clever girl.

makerealbany - 2016-09-04 18:38:00
7514

I am sorry you are feeling so bad and I hope you are able to take it easy this week to help shake it off.

grizzly4 - 2016-09-05 06:27:00
7515

No better so off to GP tomorrow. Just exhausted.

makerealbany - 2016-09-05 20:31:00
7516

That's no good at all. Good luck at the doctors.

grizzly4 - 2016-09-06 06:34:00
7517

On the darn Nebulizer again. Bad infection. Low Oxygen levels grrrr. Bonus don't have to pay for any more meds until Jan next year ha ha. My GP was away so saw her Locum. My Doctor has good files so that helped.
If Im no better tomorrow have to go to the hospital begger it. Just trying to relax ha ha. Got the last lot of purple and black rug wool and am crocheting.

makerealbany - 2016-09-06 22:07:00
7518

The trials of looking after sick children, isn't it? I hope you are feeling better today and avoid the hospital. Glad to hear you are resting.
The Women's Group is having a 'leftover' craft day and I have cleaned out their resource cupboard. LOL. I've put out about 6 activities they can choose from and I actually see gaps in the cupboard now. It's a good thing to do every 12 months or so and gives them a chance to redo something or try something they missed the first time around.

grizzly4 - 2016-09-07 06:38:00
7519

Sounds like fun. Bet they enjoyed it. I'm feeling a bit better today . Went back to GP levels are coming up yah. Just mucking around today. Can't concentrate for too long ha ha.

makerealbany - 2016-09-08 00:30:00
7520

And you'll be hibernating today with the weather bad again. Pretty rough here overnight and not looking forward to the drive to work this morning in high winds. My Cube is like a brick in the wind. LOL. Mind you I. has to take his big people mover out on the open road which is far worse. The wee birds aren't giving up that's still Spring though, they are singing away outside my window as I type this LOL. I hope you continue to improve, take care.

grizzly4 - 2016-09-08 06:28:00
7521

I stayed inside all day. It's freezing here. I managed to sew up the last beanie I knitted ages ago ha ha. Did some more quilting. Had to answer the phone but my friends gave up after a few minutes if me coughing lol. Poor things . Cooked myself a casserole for tea. I'm eating so much it's as if My coughing eases when I eat. I might end up weighing a bit more but at lest it's better than feeling nauseous with all these meds. Even the animals are hanging around me ha ha. They always know if we aren't well don't they?
Driving in high winds is not fun at all. Hope it wasn't too bad.

makerealbany - 2016-09-08 22:31:00
7522

What wild weather we are having! Coped with the wind yesterday but had to time when I got out of the car at each errand between the dumping of hail. LOL. This morning is still cold but a lot calmer. They reckon ' feed a cold, starve a fever' don't they? What ever works, I reckon. LOL. Pets are great knowing when we aren't well, I agree, but maybe they are waiting for their share of the food, too? LOL.
I have finished knitting all the main pieces of the cardy to go with the rompers and sewn it up. Just working on the cable bands for up the front. I definitely have to show you a picture of this one.

grizzly4 - 2016-09-09 06:34:00
7523

Wind has dropped tonight. Thank goodness. I spent three hours this afternoon pressing seams for quilting. I'll email a photo. I had cut 172 squares. Sewn them to make 86 then pressed all those so I can sew them down again to make 43. This is the second lot for that quilt. Then I safety pinned the blue quilt together ready for quilting. After that I'm knackered ha ha. Feeling a lot better today.

makerealbany - 2016-09-09 22:18:00
7524

Really pleased you are feeling better! And what a mission you did with those squares, looking forward to seeing the photo.
Likewise my romper and cardy set is finished so I put up a photo. Very pleased with it.
Not sure what I'm going to end up doing this weekend. I think I. will be helping son S get his bike ready for racing tomorrow. It will be their first formal race meet with the club they are joining tomorrow. DIL is on placement this weekend so I will probably have the boys tomorrow and stay home. Not sure I'm up for watching them do killer speeds.

And the set complete. I'll have to another one soon, maybe in blue and white.

grizzly4 - 2016-09-10 11:23:00
7527

That is so cute. I do like that cable pattern detail. I do spend ages sewing up for quilting. Sometimes I wonder what the hell I am doing ha ha. Helped my son to shift flats today . I left to go into the city early. I told him what to put in the car in the right order Lol. " Don't you dare lift anything Mum" he said. It wasn't too far from his old one which was in an old house. 15 flats rented out. It was in a very flash area and now it is to be pulled down. They made a fortune there. The Owners are going to build a Bed and Breakfast . Bonus was no cleaning to be done and bond given on return of key.
The new one has just been painted. Not as nice on the outside but nicer than the old one on the inside. When I got home his afternoon A was planting Veges in her temporary garden. I must send you a photo of the new driveway and the rest of the mess ha ha. A was cursing the rock hard clay. I sat down and tried to erect one of her Aluminium gardens but gave up in frustration. The screws are too small and I kept dropping them. A just laughed and did it herself. all I've done tonight is look at patterns on Pin Interest ha ha

makerealbany - 2016-09-10 21:12:00
7528

Check out all the beautiful patterns smartgirl has for sale on TM!!!!!! I sent a message hoping everything is alright with her and she is just having a clean out.I. has gone out racing but son S is just watching today as they couldn't get the 'kill switch' wired in on his bike. A bit disappointing for him and he has refused to ride his Dad's bike. Don't blame him really. I just hope I. comes home ion one piece. The boys will be here just after lunch so will take them for a swim before B has to go to league practice, then everyone will be back here for tea. Better do the groceries this morning! LOL.

grizzly4 - 2016-09-11 07:40:00
7529

She has got some beautiful patterns and knitting. I hope you got home in one piece as well lol. I went to a local market with A and the kids this morning. Had fun browsing and I got some books, a dog leash and collar for Teddy, fruit and Veges, eating different wares all the way around ha ha. When we got home we spent the rest of the day in the garden. My remaining one is such a mess. Big blocks of concrete dropped anywhere, etc. I've lost some of my precious plants, buried of course. To add insult to injury My rake , spade and two shovels have disappeared . I'm not happy about that. My SIL is too casual and doesn't put tools he borrows away. A knows I'm spitting tacks. Sigh. A is really enjoying working in her garden which is great. She needed an outlet just for her. Tonight I made Lemon Buscuits, 2 Lemon loaves and two jars of Lemon Curd. A neighbour even gave me some limes. Yummy they are expensive to buy.
That's the trouble with bikes and cars technical and mechanical problems pop up. I remember when my boys were young they were always fixing something on their motorbikes.

makerealbany - 2016-09-11 23:26:00
7530

I think I. has more of a problem with his 60 year old body!!!! LOL. He can barely walk this morning and his face is really sunburned. I swear he gets worse the older he gets. He'll be enjoying climbing in and out of his truck today....NOT! LOL. I am working on a knitted blanket, you probably know the pattern. it's done in panels with a 3D leaf at the centre of the panels? I did 4 squares yesterday which makes up one panel, at this point I'm aiming at 9 panels. I'm using the big 300g balls of acrylic from The Warehouse in white and a variegated blue, lilac and pink shade.

grizzly4 - 2016-09-12 06:33:00
7531

Poor I lol. Blanket sounds very pretty. I cleaned all day. Tonight I sorted out two Quilting containers. Found things I had no recollection of buying ha ha. Couldn't knit or crochet. I cleaned my deck today and whilst moving containers jammed my thumb and finger ripping two nails so not happy ha ha. Tearing nails is not nice. Takes my mind off this lousy cough which is improving oh so slowly.

makerealbany - 2016-09-12 22:00:00
7532

Ouch, ouch, ouch! That sounds awful. You sound so busy considering you are not well. Although I do understand not wanting to sit around feeling sick either. Catch 22, really isn't it? I've had a good few weeks at work, trying to stay on top of the financial worry by concentrating on solutions for specific parts of the problem. I've been doing well with that plan but this week I'm finding it harder, not sure why. Hopefully it's just a bad couple of days and it will swing round again. Even the Women's Group outing this week isn't going to plan. The man that I spoke to regarding a tour of the local T.V. station is no longer returning my calls so tried to book us into a lovely rural cafe to find it's closed until Wednesday morning so can't us in there either. I have another cafe on a beach in mind and they open today so it will be all on organising that, booking the bus and letting them all know this morning. LOL. I did nearly 4 squares for another panel yesterday, so at pleased with my efforts in that area.

grizzly4 - 2016-09-13 06:40:00
7533

Yes it is really. I feel useless unless I'm busy ha ha. Worked in the garden today. That's going to take a lot of hard work sigh. After that I coughed and coughed. I then got a ruddy headache and ignored it until my head was pounding. I had to give in and lay down. It's just whispering now ha ha. A is doing some work with some groups who have that funding worry all the time. Employment Contracts have to include the " Funding Clause" in them.
As for the Women's Group they have a great time but you have the stress. Mmmm. Hope you got it sorted. Fingers swollen so no crafts. Just sorting which is long overdue ha ha

makerealbany - 2016-09-13 21:55:00
7534

Sorting is good. LOL. And yes, the funding clause is in ours, too. I had Supervision yesterday which was really positive so I guess we can only do what we can do. I can't believe how many cafes are closed Monday and Tuesdays. We are booked in to the tearooms of the big Ballantynes store in the Restart Mall. We haven't been there for ages. Two panels completed on the blanket now but the repetition is getting to me a bit. I've changed colours for a while to see if that helps but I might have to do something else for a couple of nights to keep me sane. LOL. I was given the parachute from work to bring home and mend the mesh piece in the very centre. What a mission that was manhandling all the fabric. Not the most professional job but at least it's done after looking at it sitting in my conservatory for 3 weeks while I practiced my avoidance techniques. LOL.

grizzly4 - 2016-09-14 06:28:00
7535

What do you mean the Parachute from work? There is an awful lot of material in a parachute. I'd be doing the avoidance dance as well. What a major. Had a busy day dropping ff kids, picking up, taking them to Karate, etc. managed to spend an hour in the garden. Weather was nice so I washed 6 blankets and packed them up. At the market on the weekend I could not believe the prices they had on them. Some were nearly $100. My boys like wool but the girls are all into feather down duvets.
Yes we have food places up here closed on Mondays but not Tuesday's.

makerealbany - 2016-09-14 22:34:00
7536

LOL. It's the large size recreation parachute that is used for children's games at community events and on our programmes. Has never been used to jump out of a plane! LOL. I spent some time working on the cuddly fleece blanket yesterday before work. This is the one I'm hoping will turn out nice enough to give to a young woman through work. I have all the pieces of the teddy bear cut out now which was a bit of a mission as I'm only going off an online colouring in picture. LOL. Now the hand sewing begins which will be slow as a few of my fingers go numb quite quickly using a needle and thread these days. And, yes, at this point I'm still persevering with the panels for the knitted blanket as well in the evenings. I was very disappointed last night that the final episode of 'Brief Encounters' was put on so late last night. I'm really enjoying the Paralymics but couldn't stay awake long enough to see the end of Brief Encounters. Such a shame.

grizzly4 - 2016-09-15 06:28:00
7537

I had visions of you surrounded by metres of parachute silk ha ha. I wound the very last bag of rug wool up last night. Finished at midnight and fell into bed. I was sick of looking at the bag ha ha. Took me three hours. I need a Walking Foot for my sewing machine so that's next on my list . They are expensive so I'll wait until it's pressy time. It will make quilting easier. Started some micro green trays yesterday. Plants are starting to come away in the garden now. Water tank was overflowing so transfered water. It's the first time I have been able to walk down below to the pump without worrying I might trip and fall. I was quite breathless when I got back up but I am feeling a lot better. Still coughing but not as bad. It rained yesterday and last night which is nice. Everything looks so fresh. Have a lovely day at work my friend.

makerealbany - 2016-09-16 06:29:00
7538

Your thoughts stayed with me at work yesterday so it was a good day! I was all peopled out by the end of it though. Today I will be able to hit the books and be my happy introverted self. LOL. I've had to put my foot down with I. as his speedway refereeing and the Quad racing is going to take over the summer now that we have the dates for all the meetings confirmed. We have 2 long weekends here before Christmas and he's busy both of them. Labour weekend we always go to Mum and Dad's and the next one is my birthday! I'm over it before it's even started. Hopefully the leave application he's putting in this morning means we can at least go to Blenheim the week earlier. They like seeing him as much as me so it wouldn't be the same going on my own. Looks like I'm going to be doing some serious crafting this summer. And all the gardening on my own. Grrr!

grizzly4 - 2016-09-16 06:54:00
7539

Oh that naughty I. Yes he has to go away with You especially to see your Mum and Dad. My parents adored my first Husband. Mind you he was the first Sil lol. No one measured up to him as far as they were concerned. Mum used to talk about him before she passed. Always used to say " He could fix anything, was a good worker and treated us with respect" Think my BILs got a bit fed up with that ha ha. Although I will say I only respect one of my BILs . Mum and Dad liked my second husband but thought he was so quiet. Ha ha. Worked in the garden today . Tonight I under coated a Wooden chest for a pressie for M8 It's going to be a Treasure Box. Much bigger than the one I made her years ago. Tomorrow I will have to move heaps of boxes to get to the shelves with the mosaic supplies. This will take awhile but I'll do it in-between other things. Got a random pattern in mind ha ha.

makerealbany - 2016-09-16 23:02:00
7540

That sounds great! What a cool present. Did you make the chest itself? I. is grovelling big time!!! LOL. Rang yesterday morning and told me he had booked my car in for new tyres this morning while he is at work. Never thought though that I might need my car or that I might have things to do rather than wait around because I couldn't get back home BECAUSE HE"S AT WORK! Honestly, I don't know how their brains work or if they do, sometimes. So that's my morning shot, my afternoon will be on a league field watching B11's rep game the it's home for me to feed tthem all. Sigh. I have one more square to finish the 4th panel on the blanket. At the very least I have 5 panels to go. LOL. I told one of the committee members at the shop I was making it so now she has an order from a customer for one in pink and white. If she wants it any time soon it won't be me doing it. This one might be done for Christmas. LOL.

grizzly4 - 2016-09-17 07:09:00
7541

Ha ha I had a good giggle reading your post. I bought the chest years ago on special as we do ha ha. I love the way other people volunteer our services he he. I went to get some vege plants with A and the kids today. We had lunch out which was nice. I had to rest when I got home though. Spent the afternoon dozing. I just couldn't keep awake ha ha. I found some of my tiles for the Mosaic chest but I have some jewellery bits to find now. Also found some knitting kits when I was ferreting around in my stashes. Found one for fingerless gloves which M8 wants because they are purple and pink. She actually wears a lot of them. Miss Fashionesta as we tease her. Then found another pink bear set. I am officially a Hoarder according o my daughters ha ha.
Made some more Lemon Honey and some Lime Honey as well tonight. I love the smell. Omg my darn neighbour is hammering away in his shed at this time of the night. He's most likely as drunk as a coot so after he finishes I'll hear the bottles crashing into the recycling bin duh. One night I heard him crashing up his path from his man cave and then lots of swearing as he picked himself up off the path. They don't have lights down the back and it's all uphill coming back ha ha.

makerealbany - 2016-09-17 22:16:00
7542

LOL. So sore today after standing watching B's game. It was a lovely day yesterday weatherwise so was standing on the cool grass in barefeet to try and reduce the swelling in my leg. Not a great idea to day though as my hips and back are really bad. Sigh. I have so much to do this morning and visitors coming this afternoon. I will just have to keep the pain relief handy.

grizzly4 - 2016-09-18 10:35:00
7543

And another week starts....This will be last day in the shop for a couple of weeks as we've finally managed to find someone to take my place during the school holidays when I have such early starts with the holiday programmes. I will still have to pick up the banking and the window displays and the end of month happens half way through but at least it helps in the morning on Mondays. Who knows maybe the blanket will be finished by the time I go back. LOL. I'm managing 4.5 panels a week (18 squares). As expected one of the visitors yesterday checked out what I was working on and planned to buy yarn on the way home so she could start one, too. It happens every time no matter what I'm knitting. I hope you were feeling better yesterday after your big day out on Saturday.

grizzly4 - 2016-09-19 06:43:00
7544

Well, I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the Paralympics coverage in the evenings at 9.30pm. It's a shame the Olympics couldn't have had the same. Now I'm going to have to sort out a new schedule on tv. LOL. Did you see the Pottery Reality Show on Saturday night? Well worth watching, based on the Great British Bake Off guidelines by the looks of it, but what a great idea. I can certainly relate to the struggles some had on the Potter's wheel. LOL.

grizzly4 - 2016-09-20 06:38:00
7545

I got locked out of TM and Pininterest. Just managed to get it sorted with new passwords. Don't ask me what happened. I haven't a clue lol. I've been running and will do so all week. School Holidays start for me on Friday. Teachers only day so I need to motor through stuff before the onslaught ha ha.
I haven't watched TV lately so missed out on it all.
Watch that back. My hips always ache when my back is sore. I got a haircut today. My hair is changing. I have not had any colour for 9 months now. I still have a bit of the darn frosting to grow out. My girls have differing opinions about how I look lol.

makerealbany - 2016-09-20 22:27:00
7546

I hope they were positive opinions! I'm still sore but it's that dragging sort of pain not the nasty sharp one when a nerve is pinched, thank goodness. I still haven't got round to finding another doctor so off to the old one again today to renew my prescriptions. There won't be any point in mentioning my back or the rash on my leg. The last week of term has come round real quick, hasn't it. Holiday Programme at your place I guess for next 2 weeks?

grizzly4 - 2016-09-21 07:25:00
7547

My daughter was on my Ipad and whatever she did is driving me mad. I have my Laptop passwords ok now but as for the other grrrrrr.

I feel like I'm just putting one step in front of the other to get through the week. It's not that it's a bad week but pain is there all the time, doesn't seem to have got any better, And yes I did mention it to the Doctor yesterday but, of course, she just agreed with me that it was the standing on cold ground and it happens when we get older. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I knew that. But it's like telling family I can't really do something because of these sorts of consequences. Yeah, yeah. yeah.....
I thought had extra money in the budget this week so was planning a sneaky trip to the wool shop on the way to work this morning till I realised I had left the rent out of the budget!!!!! Never done that before LOL. Lucky I twigged before shopping. LOL. Not that I needed anymore wool either.

I do get so fed up with being told you are nearly 70 so your body is packing up. etc, etc. Even my kids say it and yet who is always running around for them. Moi that's who. Wish I could be a fly on the wall and see what they are up to at my age ha ha.
Well I paid my houseline twice and didn't pay my mobile phone last month ha ha. Same company but do they care? No.
kids are now on Holidays. Teachers only tomorrow, K7 is fast asleep here. I went up tonight to get him. I miss not having him around constantly. Hes such a good boy. J5 will be thrilled to see him in the morning. M8 is practicing her gymnastics and dance moves for the Talent Quest over the Holidays. She is cartwheeling all over the place ha ha At lest it will keep her busy.

Last day of term here with a disco planned for our combined programmes this afternoon complete with disco ball from ceiling, flashing lights and smoke machine. LOL. I will be leaving early, I think and leave them to it. A busy weekend ahead for me, although I. will be away racing again on Sunday from the crack of dawn (which will come earlier on Sunday!). I have fabric borders cut out for face cloths and hand towels, the sewing happening this weekend in between some gardening, some blanket panels, some more work on the cuddly blanket and making lemon honey. Not to forget the grocery shopping, feeding family tomorrow and doing the shop window displays. Phew.
