705 | Valuations..Christchurch. I have in my possession my Grandfather's stamp collection. He died in 1949 and was a Postmaster all his life and a Censor during war-time so I imagine there are probably some valuable stamps in there. Who do you suggest in Christchurch I could contact to take a look through it with me please. 2kaiser - 2008-07-20 21:37:00 |

711 | 1979 provisional overprint anyone come across the 1970 qe2 14c provisional o/print. misterperfect - 2008-07-22 13:02:00 |
712 | Ref 711. 1979 provisional overprint This stamp and a few others are notorious for the dark browen hair suddenly appearing as a golden colour. This happens when the stamp surface is rubbed. use a ordinary rubber and this effect can be easily done in a few seconds. The surface of these stamps was very poor and subject to changes such as darker complexion etc. kiwisteven - 2008-07-22 21:38:00 |

717 | Values of NZ stamps can be found here http://www.lenjury.com/ These are retail prices and not what a stamp dealer would pay or what you would get on Trade Me. Some stamps are worth nothing if not in good condition. Also some mint decimal stamps are so common that you are better off using them on letters or parcels. paulmc - 2008-07-23 23:46:00 |

719 | Thanks donaldo, I have some 1000 stamps and it would be very time consuming to go thru .. I guess the best is for me to go check out a few dealers .. thanks for your thoughts. shadow60 - 2008-07-26 14:26:00 |

721 | Neil and Tim Finn Stamps I have 9 consecutive sets of the 3 FDCs limited to 500 each. They were sold Jan07 exclusively from the Te Awamutu information centre. Is there any interest out there for these as I have only ever seen one sold on ebay UK?? Anyone have any idea how much they are worth now? gimmee69 - 2008-07-28 20:49:00 |

723 | Donaldo were u replying to my post? They are genuine NZ post issued with values on them. They were those personalised stamps that came out that year but had their picks on them. The sets are numbered. There is limited info on them still on the te awamutu information centre website gimmee69 - 2008-07-28 21:48:00 |

726 | Help! Why have I been blacklisted? I went to do a buy now on another trader's stamp auction only to find that they had blacklisted me! I found it a shock because I don't think that I have traded with them before. I have 100% feedback so what can I have done to annoy someone so much? Perhaps it's a case of mistaken identity. Should I try to do anything? stak - 2008-07-30 19:42:00 |

728 | Thanks Fredrika but I think I would prefer not to name them, they might not be happy. They haven't contributed to this stamp club thread though. Now that I have had a vent I have got over it and have decided that it's their loss. Plenty more auctions out their and great stamp people to deal with. Thanks for your support. stak - 2008-07-31 09:09:00 |

734 | NZ Rev cat Paul I have added most of what Bernie has listed there is also a guy in Victoria with a 5 frame exhibit on the wages tax i emailed him and he said he would help but have heard nothing. The good thing with using it, it can be updated in a flash as new finds come to light. I would welcome any plated flaws to add to the catalogue. I believe the NZ Royal will be publishing a revenue update in a year or two ....p.taylor i list the Victorian hunting duck revenues in my catalogue the web site is a couple of enteries above this one ... 749 | re beau2 The Diana stamps are English stamps and very common. many millions were produced and many even made it out as far as the colonial outpost called New Zealand. to be frank Royalty theme stamps are very unpopular at present so your stamps are worth only $2 to 43 and even then you need to find a buyer. I have lots of these issues in stock (I have a stamp shop) and there are very few buyers for anything with Ddiana on it at present. Eeverybody has some to sell and nobody wants to buy them - hence the current low price. kiwisteven - 2008-08-14 02:26:00 |
750 | Kiwisteven Thankyou nice to know re Dianna bea2 - 2008-08-14 15:18:00 |
