| 7401 | What a day yesterday! Washing machine stopped spinning. It's 10 years old and this will be the third time we've had it repaired. Decided to replace it this time even though it probably only needs a new belt or something. Might list on TM and some clever person will know how to fix it. Ended up with shocking headache after all the drama of learning how to work the new one though. Only managed to get half the beanie done. Sigh. If it's quiet in the shop may get it finished. | 7402 | I had a great weekend. We visited Mum and Dad and took them flowers. Talked. And cried. Then sang and laughed. The Urupa looked lovely. It overlooks Lake Rotorua. The next morning parts of the lawns were all cut up by some Hoons doing wheelies. Can you believe it. Rotten Vandals. I did get the beanie done thanks to a new member coming in to help yesterday. I am now working on an order that came in yesterday as well. A 4ply jersey for an 18month old done in basket stitch. Definitely going to take longer than a week. So stressed out at present waiting for the funding that was due by the first of the month. They are saying now that they didn't get the invoice I sent the week before the due date. Sigh. I am concentrating on wages at present and the bills that have penalties attached. He even kissed me on my head. He loves to look after me. A had just rung and he told her to hurry home cause Nana is very tired and I'm looking after her. When he tried to dig in parts of the bank they had dumped concrete from the driveway at the back of the house in there. Not happy sigh. They haven't even put the boxing in yet. | 7410 | I.,'s car blew up the transmission on the way home yesterday. Had just overtaken a bus and were part way up a hill. Had to stay on hill for nearly 2 hours for tow truck from AA to take us back to Kaikoura. Then waited another 2 hours for daughter and her partner to pick us up with a car trailer. All up a 4 hour trip home from Blenheim took 11 hours. We are so tired with the stress of it all but very grateful to S and B for rescuing us and getting the car back as well. Sigh. Our neighbour who comes off the road at the same place as our driveway does not want it concreted. Duh. The Council has given written consent to do it because it's a requirement now. The kids are paying for it and you would think they would be grateful but no still whinging and moaning about inconvenience. They ought to live here ha ha. We should concrete ours and live 3 feet on their side in gravel. They wanted it all to be gravel which is what it is now and we have paid to top that gravel up over the 11 years. I only have 3 more rows to finish it but I've got to nearly 200 stitches on the needle. It's for an 18" doll and has used more than 100g ball of yarn. | 7445 | Wow! Thats a great effort! Yep, I'm holiday but I can't turn my brain off yet. Was quite emotional on the way home last night to think I was free to walk away from it all for awhile. After a 45 minute drive I was back into problem solving. Sigh. Son S. was finally diagnosed with depression and anxiety yesterday. I have been worried since he was 15, he turns 32 in a couple of weeks! He was in a lot of pain this past week and finally DIL got him to the doctor. TUrns out he was having muscle spasms from the anxiety. Looking forward to seeing if meds help. I had same problem with I. not seeing doctors until the earthquakes and he had a panic attack.
