The Stamp Collectors Club will be running one of their "Knock-down Stamp Sales" at the Philatelic Centre clubrooms 67 Mandeville Street, Riccarton in Christchurch from 7.30pm onwards. 132 lots all without reserve. Viewing from 6pm onwards.
Payment for lots either, cash or credit cards.
Some great items being sold including rare individual stamps , large collections and mixtures.

Latest 2021 New Zealand Simplified catalogue is just out. The A.C.S. Catalogue is Full colour 144 pages (Their 44th Edition) and lists everything including Ross Dependency and New Zealand Revenue stamps fiscally used. Price is a bargain $10. I already have copies for sale and will have some available at this weekends Christchurch stamp fair.

It should be a great morning fair this Saturday with guests from around the South island attending. I will be bringing along some newly acquired stock including some wonderful Canada, Newfoundland (Best collection I've ever had), Vanuatu and a great lot of English and channel isles. Of course plenty of Kiwi bargains to tempt all and some nice Picture Postcards too! See you there!

God help me. I just read a neutral feedback placed on me. Placed by buyer without even contacting me.
They purchased in Trade Me section “Stamps” under “First Day Cover”, a stamps first day cover and then claim in feedback "it was deceptive description and only a decorated envelope".

It is a stamps first day cover as listed.

Something a bit strange when people can do that.

Last fair on April 17th saw stamp collectors from Invercargill to Whanganui attending which just goes to how how popular the Christchurch fair is! I think some Auckland collectors will be there this weekend to catch up with Philately in Christchurch. Our Stamp Club had a regular Stamp Auction last Wednesday night with around 40 members present. All good fun.
