Doing something for fun sounds like a great idea! I came just after lunch yesterday, couldn't shift a headache and couldn't think straight. Slept for a couple of hours during the afternoon which was lucky anyway as I had to be up by 4 this morning as I. has an early start. Still can't stay in bed if I know he's not here. Have to be up, showered and dressed. Still I might get some knitting done before work. LOL. My head is still a bit fragile though. I had a doctors appointment on Tuesday do organise repeat meds and she didn't check on anything we discussed last time! I give up. grizzly4 - 2015-10-15 05:26:00
I would not be happy with that Doctor. Some of them never listen or read the files grrrr. I'm doing another charity call tomorrow for a young Mum with an eight month old baby. Needs a cot, etc. She lives about an hour away so will meet her half way. It's amazing really when you see the babies growing up years later. I always seem to be on the radar for a friendly call from my families . I wish I could get friendly calls from some of my siblings ugh . They are getting up to all sorts of mischief and I cannot be bothered with their nonsense. I am a signatory on the Bank account so they cannot spend anything without me ha ha. So they can plan and scheme away as my other sisters say. Lol. M7 wants a cotton cardi again lol .She is growing like a tree. Tall and lean as are the others. She wants white. She always has white cotton. I have some I sorted yesterday. Found some material I was making into a bag for Mum so will make it up for myself. It's no wonder my machine needs oiling. Sitting there unused lol. makerealbany - 2015-10-16 05:50:00
You've beaten me to it this morning. LOL. An early start for you this morning? Getting up extra early wasn't too bad in the end, I ended up doing quite a bit of knitting before work for a change. Was still trying to shake the headaches yesterday but seem much better today although this meeting I have at 3 today is playing on my mind. I don't like playing 'boys club' power games. One of my co-workers took matters into their own hands yesterday and sorted out staff for next Friday so I can get away to Mum's before the long weekend. I really wanted it to work out that way but was resigned to it not happening. This is the co-worker that is going through so much health-wise herself. I am so grateful to her right now and can't wait to get away for a few days. grizzly4 - 2015-10-16 06:37:00
Not sure purpose of meeting in the end as school not making decision till 27th. Grr! But I guess I was able to make the point that one of the Board of Trustees should be declaring a conflict of interest and excluding himself from any decision that affects us. The Chair said she agreed so fingers crossed it happens. Next drama involves Christmas and I have to say I hate the fact that B10 and B7 are not going to be with us on Christmas Eve or morning this year! Christmas Eve isn't too bad as I don't think my sister is here this year either so will be a quiet one. But not having the 2 of 3 grandsons not here in the morning is going to be awful. For B10 to be with his half brothers for a change is ok but my daughter's ex is just playing games as usual. His family don't do anything till the afternoon so he won't even get out of bed when B7 wants to open presents. It is so frustrating. C knows we always make a big deal of Christmas morning with all of us together so it's the best way of getting back at us. Gosh families can be hard work! grizzly4 - 2015-10-17 07:07:00
They sure can grrrrr. I delivered the Portacot and toys to the young Mum. It took 40 minutes to get to the meeting place but she rang very upset when I arrived because her driver had let her down. I got directions and drive down the motorway for another 15 minutes. She was indeed very grateful so I was happy our things were going to be used again. I have just had a Potato and Cheese Bake for tea. M7 came over before that and baked Chocolate Chippie Biscuits. She proudly took a plate home for her parents lol. I've been looking at a Tutorial by Shelley Kang on Sock Blankets. Great way to use small bits of wool. I'm going to try it because I can just do little squares and put them aside. Feeling like I want to be challenged knit wise ha ha. Yes we never have J12 for Xmas morning. Sometimes families drive me nuts lol. makerealbany - 2015-10-17 17:44:00
Ok now I'm curious and have to check out sock blankets for myself. LOL. grizzly4 - 2015-10-18 10:39:00
That's the blanket I learned to do last year! Never knew that's what it's called. I love doing them but it is slower than crochet. You don't need to put the squares aside as they are knitted on to each other straight away. If it is the same as the one I do. grizzly4 - 2015-10-18 10:45:00
All this wind is causing havoc with our hayfever!! If it's not a roaring hot nor'west then it's screaming, cold southerly. I feel like I'm watching the same dust, leaves and plastic bags flying past one day and then back the other way the next. LOL. We have sorted 2 trees out the front finally. They seem to have been affected by a spray, I think, whether from when the neighbours redid their driveway or the Council spraying along the road, who knows. The smaller one, a Hebe, we just pulled out and replaced. Then bigger one we have cut right back to see if it will kick start itself. It has a very effective shape to the way it's trunks have formed so I hope it survives. We did this with a very old tree when we first moved in, it was in terrible shape but because we were new tenants we didn't feel we could just get rid of it. It is a stunning shrub now that we keep shaped up and don't let get any bigger than about a metre. Nearly 6 years on we have replaced a few of the older pieces around the section and remodelled the whole back garden. LOL. Luckily the landlord loves it. Fingers crossed with the new experiment. grizzly4 - 2015-10-19 06:40:00
Tenants like you are gold ha ha. You put so much effort and work into looking after someone else's property. Omg 6 years. Yes it's windy here and yuk here as well. I've given up sweeping the deck. It just blows back again. I have been looking at different sock wool. Some of them are so expensive. I joined a Yarn Lotto website . You enter a draw and a 100 grm ball of wool is sent to the winner by all those in the draw. I was helping A today. Sil erected the new cabin beds in the kids rooms yesterday and flew out this morning. A changed their bedrooms again so lots of sorting out today. They live their new beds. You know the ones with the bed at the top and drawers and wardrobes underneath etc. One needs a stepladder to make them so Nana is out lol. makerealbany - 2015-10-19 20:32:00
The beds sound cool! And the Yarn Lotto sounds interesting. How many balls do you think you will be posting before winning? LOL. You have to let me know whether it works in your favour. I am so grateful to have been in this house this long. Prior to that we lived in the same house for 10 years while the kids were at school but since then I. gets the fidgets and wants to live somewhere else every 2 years. I think this place has been a godsend during and after the earthquakes, despite travelling further to work. The house was built in the '60's by our landlady's parents and we are the only ones to live in it since they died. Has a lovely 'vibe' to it. LOL, especially the kitchen and the garden, the old lady is probably watching out that I do things the way she would. She obviously loved fuschias so it felt very right to grow some young plants from her very old ones so her favourites continue. grizzly4 - 2015-10-20 06:38:00
She most likely is watching and will be so pleased at your thoughtfulness in continuing her favourite plants. I'm glad her home has a lovely vibe. It has been good for you living there. Mum is most likely getting more agitated as my brother totally changes her home and digs her gardens out. I'm so mad with him at the moment. I can't even go there because I would get so upset. I know changes are always in the wind but my sisters feel a tornado has ripped through there. I'm very tired tonight so I'm off to bed. makerealbany - 2015-10-20 20:34:00
It will be hard when you go back there to live watching him do that, not just hear about it. Is that still your plan? I am really tired, too, at present. Really hard to get up in the mornings. LOL. Probably the time of year, we all need a break. I am working on another crossover cardy set, so easy to do, I don't have to think. LOL. grizzly4 - 2015-10-21 07:00:00
The Women's Group is having a go at Pottery for the next 2 weeks! Today I learn how to use a potter's wheel. This could be embarrassing! LOL. grizzly4 - 2015-10-21 07:02:00
My attempt at using one years ago was certainly a lot if fun for everyone else lol. I'm very uncertain about my move with all the shenanikins sigh. No hurry ha ha. No knitting tonight. I had to sort out paperwork sigh. makerealbany - 2015-10-21 23:31:00
Sounds like your experience on the wheel was similar to mine! LOL. I was the only one to have to start again. Haha, after it took off and became this mutant pot with a huge wobbly mouth. Oh well, being able to laugh at yourself is the best thing about getting older, I think. By the end of the morning I had a wee pot done plus a tumbler shaped vase and a leaf shaped spoon holder. We'll see how they look after being fired and next week we decorate and glaze them. I'm off to Blenheim early tomorrow so I hope you have a good weekend with very little planned unless it's fun. I'll be back online on Monday. grizzly4 - 2015-10-22 06:42:00
Have a great time with your family. makerealbany - 2015-10-22 18:41:00
Had a lovely weekend with Mum and Dad despite Dad having a seizure shortly after our arrival. They refused to call for help from the rest home staff and just rode it out but it scared the %*# out of me. They think it is the B6 tablets he started 2 days before that to help with low blood pressure reacting with the Parkinson meds. It has happened with another thing they tried as well apparently. He stopped taking them straight away and he was great for the rest of the time we were there. The B6 was specialist recommended and he was the same doctor that put him on the other stuff that reacted badly. Dad has another doctor as well so going to enlist his help to deal with the Specialist. It's all become very real all of a sudden. grizzly4 - 2015-10-26 09:21:00
Full on day yesterday with family and other visitors. No gardening done but laundry all caught up at least. I hope you had a good weekend. I have a big week a head with some major decisions to be made depending on a meeting at one of the schools tonight. Sigh. I'm feeling a bit sick about it really. And lots of other stuff on considering it's a short week. Phew, exhausted thinking about it. grizzly4 - 2015-10-27 07:29:00
That would have scared me too. Your poor Dad. The side effects of some drugs are worse than the original problem. Well at lest the weekend got better for you. Someone hacked my Facebook Account and Thank heavens my family knew I hadn't posted the rubbish so they all got Facebook to delete it but I had to change all my passwords, etc . Then my updating on the IPad went to hell and I had to change those passwords, etc. It all was a bit much really. A and the kids hired a huge Camper Bus and drove up North for the weekend. They got home today. My girl drove that TANK like a trooper. It was so big that I nearly had kittens when we went to pick it up. I was okay 5 hours later when she had arrived safely. They had a great time. Went there to meet friends . I stayed at home with the three dogs and two cats. I enjoyed my time alone. T and K flew out to Sydney for a week and took my nieces blanket. My niece is so excited because she's having dinner with my son tomorrow night and then T will catch up in three days. My namesake is very homesick so being with family will cheer her up. I am hand sewing around the edge of a quilt for my grandson. Tedious ha ha. Then I'm finally doing a quilt fir myself. makerealbany - 2015-10-27 20:19:00
I hope you have planned something extra special for your own quilt. Campervan trip sounds like fun, the kids would have loved it! LOL. We are planning a trip to Wellington and Auckland sometime next year to do some of the touristy things that we keep saying 'we must go there' about. We keep using the care for the cats as an excuse but I think we have found a relative who will house sit for a week which would solve the problem and I'm not going to even think about how it fits into work at this point. I think we will plan the trip, sort the finances, pick a date and hope it all comes together. grizzly4 - 2015-10-28 06:41:00
Ooh your trip sounds great. I haven't made up my mind yet about my quilt. I have stabbed myself so many times in the fingers with all the hand sewing. I try to use a thimble but it comes off all the time. I made some Kumquat Jelly and then some kumquat, Star of Anise and Cinnamon Chutney which is really tasty. We have a big tree in front of the property on the roadside. Thought I'd experiment lol. Then I baked a Banana Loaf, Chicolate Chip Biscuits and Salted Caramel Cupcakes. My cottage smelt yummy. I updated my software as you do and I'm not keen on this new format. Grrr. makerealbany - 2015-10-28 23:40:00
I think our software at work must have done one of those automatic updates because now I can't access sites like the Police Vetting one again. Sigh. School's decision has gone against us, they have chosen to use a national organisation instead now, even though we have been on site for 13 years. Another sigh. Now it's a case of setting up another project before the beginning of next year to save the staff currently on that programme. grizzly4 - 2015-10-29 06:54:00
I'm beginning to detest the updates. Yes the bigger organisations are taking over everything. What a letdown. Sometimes it's who you know not what you know. You get new people on the Trust Board and they all want to make their mark so change is inevitable. Sometimes it's better but sometimes it is not. My fingers are so sore I'm struggling with my sewing. Finished the edge so that was the major part. makerealbany - 2015-10-29 21:01:00
Your poor fingers! grizzly4 - 2015-10-30 06:32:00
Yes that is frustrating. I finally caught my son's cat and brought him home. He is yowling his head off to go outside but I can't let him sigh. I have a second hand cat door to put in. A kind member of our group gave it to me as well as a bag of Kitty Litter, 3 pet beds and liners. D is part Siamese so I hope I can sleep tonight lol. Couldn't sew by hand today so did some crocheting. makerealbany - 2015-10-30 23:35:00
Did you get any sleep? LOL. The things we do for family! Just as I get a weekend for gardening my back is sore again. Soooooo frustrating. Hasn't been perfect for weeks but it just gradually got worse and worse standing in line for tea at the Mall last night. Weird. That's twice it has happened like that where I'm not doing anything to aggravate it. I'm picking up son and L8 again today for the day. S will work on his new trailer which is in our garage and L and I were planning on getting our beans in. DIL will be here for tea after studying today. L staying overnight while Dad is at work tomorrow so DIL can study. Year 2 exams over the next week or so then she can rest. Her placements are completed for this year. Last one was 2 days in Theatre assisting with hysterectomies etc. Rather her than me. LOL But she's loving it. Next year will be hard as 2 placements are out of Christchurch. 6 weeks in Whakatane and 4 in Nelson. They have to bear the cost of travel and accommodation themselves so no idea how that will work and there will be no way she can come home weekends to catch up with her kids. Sigh. Poor S coping with kids and work on his own, too. Oh that's right there's always me. Haha. grizzly4 - 2015-10-31 06:42:00
That's what Nanas are for NOT. Lol. My back is killing me as well. I'm on Codiene it's so bad. Darn it all. J5 was on the Jungle Jim at M' s school. I asked him how he was going to get down and he grinned, jumped and yelled "Catch me Nana" I did, my legs were buckling too but I held him. I cursed my Sil all the way home. That was their new trick. A had to explain to him how I was not as strong as his dad, etc. He felt really bad this afternoon when he came over to see me in his Haloween costume. My back has been holding up well too. D yowled all night. I locked him in the bathroom and stuck my head under the pillow at 2 am. He slept all day and is now prowling from door to door sigh. I managed to sew two rounds of the quilt this morning and then gave up. I crocheted a little baby blanket for the hospital instead. A because it's small and light. B I can't concentrate very well. C I wanted to start and finish something today lol. makerealbany - 2015-10-31 19:00:00
That's a dreadful 'trick'! Your poor back. I cringed when I read your story. Luckily mine is worse standing in one place so I was still able to do little bits in the garden. I'm just taking Voltaren. Codeine makes me so sick. LOL. I am knitting a Little Mermaid finger puppet at present but not looking forward to doing the hair. She is supposed to have wee bead earrings and necklace as well but don't think that's too safe for wee kids. grizzly4 - 2015-11-01 08:33:00
Yes they look nice but I'd leave them off. I have just woken up again lol. I'm feeling much better than I was. My Sil has had a good earbashing lol. D is settling in well. Was asleep on my bed when I woke. Purring like a little rain engine. I'm home all this week on holiday from K so he'll be more confident by the end of the week. I watched the game today and screamed along with A ha ha. T and W are in Aussi and loving it ha ha. Fab ABS. I did another little blanking today so Twill have some more to take to work next week. I'm swapping some material with a girl who makes bibs for charity. She also dyes wool so I will get some unique wool. I'm very happy about that. I am just about to cook Strawberry Cupcakes for the kids lunches. Special request lol. Then I started a cotton top for myself so nearly finished the front. I'm on a roll. I have the quilt set up so I sew two rows on the machine and have a break from it. It's slow but not painful ha ha. This new IPad format is driving one to distraction, don't like it grrrrr Edited by makerealbany at 7:53 pm, Sun 1 Nov makerealbany - 2015-11-01 19:50:00
I had a lovely weekend with L8 while I. and S worked on the new trailer. Mermaid is finished. Will photograph before taking into shop. LOL. I did lots of cooking yesterday for meals during the week, just in case the stress gets the better of me. LOL. grizzly4 - 2015-11-02 06:51:00
Worked on the quilt, finished another little blanket and did some knitting on my top. Just rested and relaxed ho ho. I did do some washing lol. Sorted out my wool for the luckyWool Lotto winner of the month. I'll post it tomorrow along with the material parcel. Feeling tired so it's an early night for me. makerealbany - 2015-11-02 21:56:00
Your day sounds blissful! I wish....... grizzly4 - 2015-11-03 06:44:00
and this is the set I worked on last week as well. grizzly4 - 2015-11-03 06:45:00
Lovely set. Mermaid Puppet is cute. I'm really motivated to finish that quilt and everything is going wrong lol. Machine played up again. I got that sorted and then the cotton kept breaking. A new reel and it was breaking when I tested it by hand. I paid $15 for a rotten reel of cotton. Grrrr. Did a bit on my top tonight. No wonder I'm tired its early midnight. makerealbany - 2015-11-03 23:55:00
Early Midnight! LOL. You are tired. (I know you meant 'nearly'). grizzly4 - 2015-11-04 06:56:00
Yes I am waiting for 3 responses as well.it gets jolly annoying. Darn internet cutting out. Loved the video by the way. makerealbany - 2015-11-04 22:28:00
Yes video was very cool wasn't it? It's a bit frosty down here this morning so hopefully it bring a warmer day. Weekend looks good weatherwise so hopefully I will get the beans that are growing in seed trays in my conservatory into the garden finally. Only 4 out of 12 grew, mind you, and they are very weird looking, both the roots and the plants are growing upwards. LOL. I will buy more seeds and put them straight in the garden, I think. Still working on pink cardy, I'm falling asleep after half an hour in the evenings. The road where I work and where the Purple Patch is based is undergoing extreme repair work from the earthquakes. It's impossible to park and the poor shop is really going to suffer as they are there for 5 weeks. There goes our Christmas sales! On Monday they were using an impact drill to break up the road and our building was shaking dreadfully. Then they haven't come back the last 2 days but the cones and barriers are still up restricting access to the shop. Sigh. grizzly4 - 2015-11-05 06:39:00
Spent the day in the garden, weeding and hauling weeds. The Contractors are supposed to start in a fortnight. I had to move all my pots because where they were will be under mounds of soil . All of the pots needed weeding and fertilising . Thank heavens I put Sunblock on because it got really hot. I was knitting my summer top tonight. My arms were really sore and when I pulled my sleeves down I found my arms were full of thorns from the Rose bushes. I'm still picking them out. makerealbany - 2015-11-06 00:10:00
That's not good! (About the thorns, I mean). Would love to see a picture of the pattern you are using for a summer top. I knitted one in cotton for my sister many years ago but I returned the pattern unfortunately, even though she doesn't knit. I never think about knitting summer stuff for myself. Good on you. I'm attending a mornings training on social enterprise today, then interviewing for a project leader as part of collaborative project with other organisations in the area, then I have supervision with a staff member then a meeting to go over employment agreement stuff with a new worker then I have to relieve on one of the programmes till the assistant can get there from Polytech THEN I can start some work at my desk. LOL. Phew It will be about 4 by then. grizzly4 - 2015-11-06 06:26:00
What a day you have had ugh. Hope it all went well. I did some more gardening then went up to see T. She has Been vomiting all day after the steroid injection which was supposed to help her swollen hand. He missed the spot and it is now agony. The morpheine combined with the steroid has really upset her stomach. She had a great time in Aussi but it throbbed all the time she was away sigh. I brought K6home for the night. He had a lovely time away, holding baby alligators , having a huge snake around his neck and posing for photos, swimming with seals, etc. No fear that boy. He wanted to come and see his cousins to give them the pressies he bought for them. We let off Sparklers and watched across the water as fireworks lit up the sky. Last night some idiots burnt down our little wharf by leaving smouldering fireworks on it. I would be happy if they ever sold any to the public and just had Displays. makerealbany - 2015-11-06 23:54:00
Absolutely agree about the fireworks. There were 18 fireworks related fires in Christchurch on Thursday night. We had just as many going off around us last night and I'll bet there's more tonight being Saturday. grizzly4 - 2015-11-07 09:46:00
Yes there were firework everywhere tonight. Not a good night for our pets. makerealbany - 2015-11-07 23:59:00
sure sign mine are getting older. They are in by 9! LOL. My sister sent me an adult colouring in book and pencils for my birthday on Thursday! How cool is that? She thinks it will help my stress levels. LOL. Great thinking, now I just have to find time to do it. LOL. The men worked on son's trailer in the garage yesterday, DIL was studying at home so B10, L8 and I escaped to the local pool (not that I got into the water, though). In my heart I want to but can't make myself buy a bathing suit (or get into it once i do). Sigh. The boys had a great time and made me laugh lots which is probably even better than colouring in. Really going to try to get those darn beans and potatoes in the garden today. grizzly4 - 2015-11-08 10:41:00
Omg a belated Happy Birthday to you. A is going to teach me how to upload photos on my IPad. Hopefully tomorrow lol. I had to take my new Bench Oven back o Farmers as it just stopped working. I purchased it in Oct. anyway picked up the new one and called into Spotlight. They had some lovely Christmas Material quite a heavy weight suitable for table clothes and runners, etc. It was $40 a metre but I got 2 metres for $40 so was very happy. Wool seemed to have gone up again. Laces and trims were an awful price. I haven't even thought about xmas sigh. M7 and K6 want fossils or bones or teeth. They already have Collections. K has a huge one. He has a Special Ex Museum Display Case with his Valuable Dinosaur Teeth in. He loves to gather stuff anywhere. Beach, bush, etc. M has a very small collection but her Dad started her off with Rocks as he has a mate who is a Geologist in PNG so M has lots of rocks. She has them in Plastic Drawers ha ha. M broke one of her sharks teeth and I managed to glue it back together. J5 can't make his Mind up so he's getting a voucher as are E3 and J12. I do have Secret Santas Present so it's not going to be too hard to do my shopping ha ha. My great grandson needs clothes as his Dad can't keep up with him. He's as big as K6 and J5. I have just baked 3 doz Choc Chip Muffins so I'll wash up and head to bed. makerealbany - 2015-11-08 23:33:00
No you're not late! LOL. It's this Thursday but presents have arrived early and I couldn't wait. Haha. Mum and Dad gave me theirs when I saw them a couple of weeks ago so it started from there. I spent work's voucher on new navy towels. Washed them before using them and still ended up covered in navy fluff the first time we used them. LOL. Interesting collections your young ones have. Good for them. I love it when people have specific interests it makes birthdays and Christmas so much easier. Both our quad bike are back in the shop. I. has been starting them up every week even though we've had no time to take them out or the weather's not great. Now the problem we had with mine has come back and I's has it as well. Grrrr. I am so disappointed. I'll bet our weekends become free now they aren't here! Vege garden all done, just need to get another lot of lettuces and some carrots. Cardy finished and doing a dolls one in same wool. grizzly4 - 2015-11-09 06:37:00
Oh my goodness, I was so stressed by the time I left the shop yesterday morning. Thank goodness for the few lovely customers that come in despite the road works going on right outside our front window. Last week they used an impact drill to break up the tarseal and I though that was bad enough with the till opening all the time with the bumping and shaking. This week was dreadful with them forcing the steel walls for the big hole they have made into the ground. The huge vibrations went on for longer this time and everything was falling off the shelves and out of my window display. The noise was horrendous and even though common sense was telling me I was ok it wasn't till I tried to settle into a normal routine for the afternoon at work that I realised how much it had affected me. Definitely needed a strong coffee. I left two of our older members in the shop for their shift and I tried to explain what it was like (the guys were on their lunch break by then) I know they will be anxious too. The works will be ongoing for another 4 weeks yet. It's also happening by my work as well and I think the next big hole there is part way over the driveway. So far all the cones still allow us access but no guarantees for how long. They have been repairing the main waste water line in the area for months now. Actually it's been years but this is the proper repair job now apparently. There are more cones on the roads at present than in the past 2 years or maybe they were concentrating on somewhere I didn't have to go in that time, LOL. Six years is a long time to be still coping with all this, I have to say and there is a whole block of buildings in town not touched yet because of insurance stuff still ongoing and people still waiting for a decision on their homes. I really feel for them. grizzly4 - 2015-11-10 06:43:00
Bugger all that girl. It's amazing isn't it? Years ago I managed Childrenwear store about a year after my first Husband died. They were pulling the old Bank next door down and we had the noise and the awful vibrations. I rang what was then the Labour Department. They contacted the Health Department who sent some one out. He closed the shop for a week until work had finished. The owner was furious but that was Health and what is n now Safety . In those days they didn't muck around. I would shut up the shop if work like that is going on in the future. It's not fair to you or staff. Especially older staff will most likely e more anxious. For heavens sake all this stress must be so dreadful. I know finances come into play but you have to look after yourselves. makerealbany - 2015-11-10 14:39:00
You will have lots of noise etc these days, too, I guess with work starting. Imagine how much warmer the cottage will be with more sunlight and how much more craft you will be able to do. LOL. I have done a dolls cardy so far this week and 1 sock towards a pair. Kept falling asleep last night. LOL. Till I got to bed that is. It was very hectic yesterday but incredibly positive meetings I was involved in. My head was still buzzing a bit when I went to bed, I guess. Off to the A & P Show this morning. Our annual pilgrimage with the Women's Group. The weather is not doing us any favours unfortunately, very cold winds and rain forecast for this morning. Such a shame. grizzly4 - 2015-11-11 06:26:00
I got up and didn't feel too good so I went back to bed. Got up at 3. They have cut all the trees down already. They have to cut them up now. We have loads and loads of mulch for the new gardens when they are established after the retaining walls are built. I'm up to the armhole on my top so will finish it tomorrow night. The cottage is already very warm because of all the insulation. The trees did not block the sun as they were down below in the paddock . The neighbours down below are very happy and the ones across the road at the top have let us know they now have sea views ha ha. How did your trip go? makerealbany - 2015-11-12 00:17:00
