Hi Twilight, $50 thats crazy !!! I googled candlewick and chenille to see the difference and the candlewick has a loop, the chenille is cut...when I first mentioned raggie quilts in fabric shop they didnt know what I was talking about then one lady there said they were chenille quilts - not quite - but near enough.
Nice day here too but quite cold, am going to get some sewing done today I hope ;)
Have been sorting through stash for 'daisy-bees' quilt, I had bought a sweethearts charm pack - dark reds and blacks - hearts etc, but dont know now ???? And then theres those gorgeous blues that were in your auction the waterlily ones - I dont know, plenty of time tho....may just have to go shopping lol
Have a fun day Twilight :)

All the best with the auction, I have bid on 247632059.
Girls home today, they say I have to go outside with them cause its nice out there. They are working on their cars they have put stereos in themselves, fairy lights inside (left over from sons wedding), and have put fur material on inside of doors and ceiling - bright pink and black in one of them. Lol its great seeing them out there helping each other :) One of them is good at spray painting so all scratches are sanded and painted, girls can do anything aye :)

Hi Twilight Awww you would look so cute with your car all done up hehe girls want to do mine haha na not gona happen.
I have 4 kids eldest a daughter with girl 10, son 2 and then of course theres 'daisy-bee', son who got married in Feb, no kids for a while they are off on a big oe end of this year and then my other 2 girls who are still living at home, ones 18 the other almost 17. I homeschooled them all - absolutely loved it and I think we have a much closer relationship because of it. They are all practical do it yourself kids, hence all the work on their cars oh and their bedrooms are much the same. Late one night they decided to spray paint one bedroom - yuk the stink of spraypaint but one of them is very arty so room turned out lovely hehe.

Lol Twilight 'grandy coming until 2' hehe how could you of forgotton hehe I didnt get any sewing done today no reason for it, did get gardening done tho so that was good.
All daughters can crochet, knit, do leadlighting, crosstitching and sewing they dont do it much now tho. The 18 year old, shes the one we bought the sewing machine for (that we share ) she makes quilts she is at the moment making a black fur (left over from car) and purple velvet 7" squares quilt. We got her a dressmakers dummy one year for her birthday and she has designed and made some clothes for herself and her sisters.
Lol was just remembering when I was a teen my brother used to sew alot of my clothes for me haha no he wasnt gay at all far from it ;)
Thats nice they stayed for tea :)

Its soooooo funny (well not really) but watching people in car parks that have lost their cars ....high up in the van you can see them wondering around.
Some oldies I have spoken to that do lose their cars, I tell them try to park in the same area each time dont just park anywhere hehe they try to do that now.

Nothin wrong with a suzuki alto, we dont always get what we want, I want an old style mini with a union jack painted on the top :) I go to the mini shows when they are here and long for one but alas I am 'not allowed one' sniff sniff - too small and dangerous I am told, I am allowed a new mini because they have all the safety stuff but they are not the same ;( so I told hubby I am just keeping my trusty old van foreva .... that'll teach him aye lol duh me ;)

You will probably have to google that youve probably never even heard of them - was a tv programme.
