Wow what a great shopping day. Lawn mower voucher cool. I took it easy. Had a quiet day crocheting. It's been pouring here and still is. Some inconsiderate neighbour starting letting fireworks off at about 9.30 in the rain. Woke the kids and all the dogs started growling. Cats ran and hid. A rang me very annoyed. Little T wouldn't get in his pen and it took me 10 minutes to quieten him down. Some people. Grrrrr. Watch that head cold. Yes I'm feeling a lot better. makerealbany - 2015-07-18 23:16:00
Great news about feeling better. I'm ignoring my cold and taking neurofen 4 hourly which is a bonus for my hand. LOL. They took xrays from slightly different angles yesterday so we will see.... the radiologist thought it was more likely to be ligament damage and should see a hand specialist. Sigh. Everyone's an expert except the ones that should be. MY GP couldn't even get the right info on the referral for the xray including which hand. She had a 50% chance of getting it right, but no. grizzly4 - 2015-07-19 10:03:00
Omg sometimes you have to wonder about the Medical Experts alright. My daughter decided she was ready to let go of her late hubby's ashes. We went to his favourite spot on the rocks overlooking the sea and released his ashes as per his wishes. We had a service and said our final goodbye to him and let him go. It's been three hellish years legally and emotionally for her. She has fired her second lawyer and hired a new one. Thousands of dollars later but feels she's now on the right path. She's got a well known respected Lawyer who was shocked that my daughters house is not even in her name yet. First on the list. Said it's been a right farce and it's about time it was sorted. T' old lawyer not happy but T is so that's the main thing lol. Her new lawyer said she had cleaned up messes before from both T's Lawyer and The Family Trust's Lawyer. It's about their interpretation and understanding of Matrimonial Property Act and The Family Protection Act. Even I'm feeling positive about it all now. I have to now write an Affidavit to claim my money out of my sons property as his Ex is trying to get out of returning my investment. Need it lodged by Tuesday so I had better get to it sigh. No rest for the wicked ha ha. makerealbany - 2015-07-19 22:19:00
Sometimes it makes you wonder whether it's working so hard to gain assets doesn't it. My Dad is having the same issues with a lawyer in Belfast, Northern Ireland regarding his brother's estate. Two years ago he was sent a letter requesting his signature so that the lawyer could sort it all out over there. Apparently it was a couple of thousand pounds but Dad showed the letter to his lawyer here and she squashed the idea immediately of his signing it. She's been dealing with it since and fighting to get everything released, there is much more than that involved and it turned out that the lawyer over there was representing a niece of Dad's, not his brother's daughter, not the deceased estate! It's scary watching these 'experts' at work! grizzly4 - 2015-07-20 06:41:00
Brrr it's cold! Off for a mammogram this morning. I'll have to go extra early 'cos I'm wearing so many layers. LOL. grizzly4 - 2015-07-21 06:45:00
I meant to ask what temperature you have your water set at? I haven't really thought about it since my kids grew up and I remember turning it down back then to the recommended 55 degrees. When they put in the new hot water cylinder last week boy did we have hot water! It was a mission getting in to the thermostat but found it was set at 70 degrees! I can only imagine how much power was used to reheat the new tank to that temperature last week. Grrr. We've turned it down to 57 but now I'm missing it being a bit hotter. No not 70, LOL. grizzly4 - 2015-07-21 06:51:00
Mine is about 57 as well. Mine was so high it kept blowing the circuit. Ugh. I'm wearing heaps of layers too lol. Got shingles again and can't get the vaccine because of meds Im on. Not one thing it's another yuk. Made up my mind to move back to Rotorua. Before Mums Unveiling so planning now. Medical support is more access able there and I want to be near my siblings. My days of constant childminding are coming to an end. Decided I need to make decisions based on what I want to do for myself now. I'm 70 in 2 years so it's about time. My family back home are very happy. My children will adjust and they understand. My daughters are happy for me. I've never really liked Auckland. It's just too big and there are too many people ha ha. I'll miss my grandchildren but they will come in the school holidays no doubt. makerealbany - 2015-07-21 23:37:00
Wow, big decisions for you. Well done for thinking of your own well being. My instant thought was "What will I do when you move on?" Duh, I can be such a ditz sometimes, LOL. Feels like my cold is heading for my chest but can't take time off from work right now, Hadn't heard from Doctor about xray result so rang yesterday. Receptionist said "Oh yes they came on Monday" Grrr. Was put through to the Nurse who told me there are no cracks or breaks and the bones are aligned properly. I asked what next? and she suggested another appointment with the doctor "if I felt I had to'! I told her I didn't have time but would appreciate the doctor sending me a referral to someone who could tell me what's wrong with my hand. Haven't heard anything yet. I am not spending any more money going to someone who just can't help, if I don't hear from her soon and I end up going in for anti-biotics I will let her have both barrels then. grizzly4 - 2015-07-22 07:31:00
I don't blame you. I wouldn't spend any more money either. Spending less time on Nebulizer so whoop whoop. I cleaned some cupboards for my daughter today . She has cleaners coming on Saturday ha ha. Also sorted her investment portfolio out. Cleaned her desk and found lots of goodies ha ha. I'm off home tomorrow. I have 4 days at home now. Only baby sit three days. I've got so much planned at home for my days off. Still crocheting blankets. T has claimed one already. She loved her Nanas bright colours. Watch that bug. You don't want to end up like me. One of my nieces just let me know she's coming back from Australia to live. I thought she was homesick at Mums Tangi. Mum always said we would go home when the time was right. It will be hard driving there and not seeing her. My younger sisters both have very ill husbands so they need support. makerealbany - 2015-07-22 20:18:00
Sounds like you are going to be busy no matter where you live. LOL. I'd dread organising all my wool etc to have to shift. We've been here for 51/2 years in this place - good going for us recently. I'm knitting a dolls blanket at present that has taken me since Sunday and still have about a quarter of it still to do. I made a baby size one last year and it was quite fun doing the panels so thought it would a nice idea for dolls on a smaller scale. Ha, the amount of work going into it isn't worth the financial return in the end. Shame, but now I know on this one. grizzly4 - 2015-07-23 06:40:00
A day from hell yesterday! A staff member has been on and off work for the last 3 weeks with the 'flu. Told her last Thursday she had to see a Doctor and take the Friday off to shake it properly as I really needed her on board this week because of other staff stuff happening. But she didn't do either! Yesterday she rings me to say she has a medical certificate saying she can't return to work till 3/8! BUt if she feels better sooner she'll come back. Ah no you won't! Not if I'm having to spend hours organising relief and have a commitment to them for that time, you won't. Now she's upset with me! Really? THEN I get the Health Department notifying me of a child on last week's holiday programme having a notifiable illness and I have to send all these standard letters out to the parents and deal with all their worries. Thank goodness the child is going to be fine and apparently the risk of infecting another child was minimal but even so.... THEN one of my most reliable staff hands in her resignation as she has been offered full time work. It's all just too hard sometimes. I was up and ready to deal with it all this morning but have been standing out in the cold holding a torch for I. so he could change a flat tyre and then on doing some online banking I find our life insurance company has taken out duplicate payments and emptied the daily cheque account. OMG!!! Shoot me now! grizzly4 - 2015-07-24 07:13:00
You ok, makerealbany? grizzly4 - 2015-07-25 10:13:00
Omg what a week from hell you've had. I'm ok. Trying to lengthen my times between using Nebulizer. I tried just using inhalers but ended up coughing so much I gave away that plan. Lol. Shingles subsiding at last. J had his 21st tonight. Just a family dinner at my sons. Very nice. Got home exhausted though. I didn't want to go but felt I should. Spent most of the time talking to his other Nana who is not well. Lovely to catch up with her. She is looking so frail and she is only 4 years older than I am. We had a discussion about the fact that our sons do not see us the way our daughters do. Sons can be blind to our ageing and slowing down. I'm going to crochet for 30 minutes to unwind then I'm going to bed. makerealbany - 2015-07-25 23:31:00
Yesterday was a nice break, even just had fish 'n' chips for tea. LOL. Trying to work through 1 bag of wool at a time but I'm pretty much over working with pink and white now so might have to make another plan. LOL. grizzly4 - 2015-07-26 09:57:00
I've started a baby set in blue from a Sublime pattern I found on TM a wee while back. Nice easy pattern so up past armhole shaping on back already. There was another Sublime pattern I would love but I think it's been discontinued. It's for a wee coat with a lovely knitted bow across the back and was in their No 14 book, I think. I'll keep looking though. I'm feeling a bit better this morning, but worried about I. as he was working out in the garage all afternoon yesterday working on son's trailer with a friend. It hasn't done his cold any good. Start of a huge week this week, big meeting with finance mentor this afternoon then Management meeting followed by AGM tonight. Not much knitting tonight, I guess. I hope you are feeling even better by now, makerealbany. grizzly4 - 2015-07-27 06:37:00
I'm on the mend. Yippee. Got through a lot of stressful stuff so it's now time to relax a bit ha ha. Well here hoping. Crocheting blankets still. Rainbow colours now. Much better than the black. I have to do another black one dash it. Why do young people like black?. Found some wool I gave Mum in her bins. It's black with beads. Granddaughter saw it and wants a dolls gown in it. Bless her. She thinks Nana can make anything her little heart desires haha. J her brother also thinks Nana can make swords, etc. "I'll get your tape and hammer Nana ". The one thing I try and avoid is kite making. Ugh Anything with string attached is complicated lol. Hope your day of meetings went ok. makerealbany - 2015-07-27 21:08:00
-That is great news that you are feeling better! Yesterday wasn't as bad as it could have been but I didn't do myself any favours being out late, not having dinner, not taking any meds before going to bed etc, etc. Was coughing most of the night, so was I. I feel like my cold is going backwards a bit, but it's still just a cold and doesn't warrant anti-biotics. Everyone I know has a cold down here and it's taking at least 2 weeks to shake it. Crazy stuff! I agree about kites! No matter how precise you are or how much work you put into them they just don't fly properly. One of my pet hate projects on the programmes, I have to say. LOL. grizzly4 - 2015-07-28 06:56:00
Really trying to get my head around the concept that we should be doing stuff and charging rather than providing services for low income families for next to nothing. Childcare services have had fees attached, of course, but way back we used to do lots of free community events etc that other groups are charging to do now. All these blasts from the past keep coming back to me each time we raise the subject at work, like a light bulb going on. LOL. 24 years of my history.... here's hoping they are workable ideas this many years on. Having to deal with changes in staff yet again which is so time consuming when I need to get on and do the funding. My cold certainly has to take a back seat when there is so much else to do. LOL. Off on a bus trip with the Women's Group this morning to a couple of craft places then stopping for coffee on the way back. Should be fun but wind is cold here this morning. How are the swords and dolls knitting coming along? grizzly4 - 2015-07-29 06:47:00
Ha Doll knitting is ok. So fiddley ha ha. Swords were a hit lol. I remember those days as well. It seems most things are user pays nowadays sigh. I left my first Non Profit Organisation after 10 years because their philosophy had changed and they were concentrating on more programmes they could charge for. The Second Non Profit Organisation was a six months contract and I did not ask for renewal ugh Nasty Politics. The last one before I retired was as you know fraught with many difficulties. After all my voluntary work I often wonder about the differences we made in the lives of People. We have a good local Community Organisation for swapping and giving which although it works in most cases is still open to abuse. Sad really but we know who they are so we are careful. They never even say thank you. I do belong to other Community Groups but am slowing down my participation now. I'm still coughing but only in the morning. I drink lots of fluids but it stops when I eat. makerealbany - 2015-07-29 09:21:00
I guess the coughing in the morning is trying to clear everything from lying down over night. I. and are still sick, I'm guessing I'm slightly better each day but I'm really not sure but I'm not up all night coughing like I. is. Trying to get him to a Doctor today but I'm not sure they'll give him anti-biotics either. It's been 2 weeks now trying to get rid of a cold. Very weird. grizzly4 - 2015-07-30 06:50:00
I just want to be sitting in the sun knitting!!! And yes, I know I'd be asleep by the second row. LOL. Two late nights of meetings this week and I'm so behind trying to get this wee set done. I used some of Mum's lemons last weekend to make lemon honey and a lemon cake, now I'm wondering if I can organise time over the weekend to make some marmalade. Seems like ages since I made some. AND the cake was so nice I might try a rhubarb one. I must be craving Vitamin C because of this cold. LOL. Any plans for the weekend? grizzly4 - 2015-07-31 06:50:00
Yes on Sunday we have a visit with my youngest grandchild. Court stuff went ok yesterday so my investment is safe. Woke up coughing badly think I have another bug or a relapse sigh. Too much stress gets you every time. I'll just keep warm and hope for the best. I still have lots of Lemon Honey and Marmalade from earlier this year. Going to have a crafty day lol. makerealbany - 2015-07-31 09:57:00
I didn't think lemon honey kept for long periods? Something to do with the eggs in it. I only make a couple of jars at a time because of that. Makes you wonder how much preservative is in the one they sell in the supermarket. Couldn't find anything I wanted to use our Flybuys on and they've been mounting up but this morning I was emailed that you can use it for New World Gift Cards. I bought a few and now I can help son out, too. B10's father is $1000 in arrears on his child support and not doing anything about it. He owns his own business and his wife pays the wages, she can't stand B so I guess that's why she's not taking child support out of the wages they get paid. Grrrr! S and DIL only have his income because she's studying so it's really hard if that bit extra doesn't come through on time. Especially as B's feet dissolve socks and shoes and he eats as much as an adult. He also plays league so the petrol is used for trainings and games, he is good enough to be trying out for the Canterbury team tomorrow which will be more expense. But so good for him since he was knocked back by his Dad and hasn't seen him since. Double Grrr! grizzly4 - 2015-08-01 10:57:00
Spent most of yesterday either in the kitchen cooking for family or playing board games with the boys. Daughter S popped in for a quick visit and I think that was mostly about trying to find out what her new partner has planned for her birthday next Saturday. She has never had a birthday fuss from her ex-husband so she is freaking out this time because she's not in control of it. LOL. And do we know - yes, and did we tell her - NO! LOL. He's actually organising dinner at home for both families to meet and that would definitely freak her out. I like him even more for making a fuss of my girl. And she likes his Mum a lot so it will be nice to meet her, too. But that's a week away and lots to do before then, at least I have full staff back on board this week. Hope you are feeling better today. grizzly4 - 2015-08-02 11:18:00
I keep my Lemon Honey in the fridge. No problems with it. I'm using mine for New World Vouchers too. Lol. That is lousy not paying the child support. She should see about it through the Family Court. Had a visit with little E today. She is growing so tall. Brought her Dad and I a muffin for afternoon tea . I had a big bag of craft stuff for her and a Frozen Dress up Dress. She was very happy and her Mum rang to thank me. She also asked T and I if we wanted to meet up somewhere and take E's cousins. I got a shock but we are delighted of course. So I'm having another visit next week. E is asking about her cousins so that's good. I have been busy sorting out legal stuff for Mum with my sister so it's very time consuming and stressful finding out just how much money my younger sister and niece have got out of our Mum. They are such needy people to put it politely. Poor Mum was too kindhearted and helped them out on a regular basis. My other sisters knew they were getting help it but not to the degree that they did and it must have put Mum under real financial strain at times. It makes me so sad for Mum. She went through a lot of money she could have spent on herself. makerealbany - 2015-08-02 23:31:00
What would we do without these family dramas, eh? And when it involves money it gets really ugly. I'm sure the money stuff is getting in the way of B's Dad fronting up for him and the wife of course. But then maybe it's too hard for him and he's been looking for an excuse all along. Sigh. I thought maybe his family would help pull him into line or even get him to return the school uniforms he has at his house as they are all close to B, but they refuse to get involved. grizzly4 - 2015-08-03 06:44:00
I hope so lol. Yep family dramas alright. I should write a book. Had a lazy day. After a day out I feel so darn tired. It's starting to get really frustrating. Dr says it may take a long time forme to recover and I will be prone to relapses because of my Immune disorder . Like that makes me feel better ha ha. A friend just dropped 2 large bags of Grapefruit in for me. More Mamalade. I am thinking of buying a Really good juicer . I need building up ha ha makerealbany - 2015-08-03 22:28:00
I love grapefruit marmalade! One fruit I can't put in mine now because I.'s on cholesterol meds. I feel so frustrated with this cold, felt much better yesterday but had a really sore throat by last night! Still there this morning. I can't win. Started another wee blue cardy yesterday (no, still haven't sewn up the first one) so hopefully can take two into shop next Monday. Well that's the plan anyway. LOL. grizzly4 - 2015-08-04 07:02:00
Gave out my request for a Nutra Bullet to my daughter. Birthday on Thursday so they are fishing for pressies ha ha. This winter has been awful with all our colds, etc. Sore throats usually signal a bug to come for me. I finished A large blanket for T that Mum started and now I'm doing one for my niece. Going to have an early night tonight. makerealbany - 2015-08-04 20:45:00
I hope your early night happened as planned. You are doing well on the blankets for your family. They will all have a legacy from your Mum by the time you have finished. I can't believe how things work out sometimes - I've mentioned how I've been trying to revamp our budget at work and get us more recognised etc, etc. Well yesterday I received a phone call out of the blue from a small business owner who is running a fundraiser on Friday night and she wants to donate the proceeds to us! I was blown away. It may not be an huge amount in the end but so, so pleased she thought about us. Maybe it's a sign we are on the right track. I really hope so. Still working on the back of the second wee cardy. My knitting seems to be a slow process these days. grizzly4 - 2015-08-05 06:39:00
That's amazing. I love it when that happens. K6 has a fundraiser for school selling Chocolate. Hes making sure he gets paid before he hands over the Choc. He's very wise ha ha. Yes my knitting is slow but the crocheting is going along nicely lol. makerealbany - 2015-08-05 22:25:00
Had a lovely morning out having coffee yesterday with the Women's Group. We came over to my favourite café close to where I live. They loved it because of the huge selection of cabinet food all made on the premises. They left with bags of goodies for home as well. LOL. We're going to give quilling a go next week so I hope the funding comes through by then. The needles are so expensive when I need about 10 of them, and they will have to share even then. grizzly4 - 2015-08-06 06:28:00
What a day yesterday. The guy that was finishing the flooring at work was an hour late after I got there really early for him, the accountant was also put back an hour and then stayed for 2 hours training me up on the new system. My brain was exhausted by then and needed a strong coffee. LOL. Had to get a person to sign off a funding application at one of the local banks (never had to do that before) and it was a bit of a run around, then a friend told me she needed a diagnostic mammogram today as her doctor had a found a lump in her breast and I can't stop worrying for her. A very messy day all up. I got very little productive work done, fingers crossed for today. How are you feeling, makerealbany? grizzly4 - 2015-08-07 06:58:00
I'm not too bad. Had a nice Birthday Tea last night. Got my Nutri Ninja and tried it out this morning. Very fast. I was given a bag of goodies by my daughter to put in my NN. Kale, Spinach, Bananas, Avacado, Coconut Water, Almonds, Flaxseed oil and Black Chia Seeds. They are determined to get me healthy again ha ha. I also got cash, nail and hair vouchers so very spoilt. I made Marmalade tonight and now Im off to bed. Electrician coming early. Last night my TM kept cutting out. makerealbany - 2015-08-07 23:18:00
I'm glad you had a good birthday AND you've beaten me to get marmalade made! LOL. Probably won't happen here this weekend either. Daughter's surprise birthday today, still have end of month cheques to do for shop plus I've brought work home to catch up on, not to mention a cardy to sew up and another to finish knitting. My expectations might be a bit high I feel! It's snowing here this morning and very hard to get out of bed to start the day. Brrr. grizzly4 - 2015-08-08 06:50:00
Got some of those tasks done but had a great birthday dinner with family at daughter's and her new partner's. Very relaxed, met his Mum and DIL thinks he is ok now. Sigh She can make everyone miserable if she's not on side. Hopefully I'll get the rest done today depending on visitors arriving. LOL. grizzly4 - 2015-08-09 09:44:00
Had a lousy day yesterday and the night was not much better. Packed a bag in case I had to go to hospital. Sigh. Today I had to take codeine . I have severe chest pain so will go to my GP tomorrow. I may have strained something when I fell the other day. Tripped on our uneven driveway. It's really falling apart. The driveway I mean ha ha. My cough is nearly gone hurrah. Snowing must be pretty. J sends us fab photos of her in the snow in Queenstown. Very cold though brrrrr. I'm crocheting another black blanket . My daughter T loves her Blanket. It was her birthday yesterday. makerealbany - 2015-08-09 21:22:00
LOL, I didn't realise our daughters had the same birthday! I'm glad about your cough but very concerned about your fall, I hope the doctor can help, might need xrays? Our colds are going as well, thank goodness, it's been 3 weeks. I've decreased the meds I've been taking but now my hand is clicking and giving me pain again. I'm not going to win this one, I don't think. I finally sewed up the first wee blue cardy but still have collar and bands to do on the 2nd one. Did both sleeves over the weekend so that was pretty good going these days. grizzly4 - 2015-08-10 06:36:00
Had my X-rays. I've got a cracked rib and also pinched a nerve in my neck duh. Ah well I've got some strong painkillers lol. Took all afternoon with the GP and tests, X-rays, etc. I don't have to pay for medicines until next year now . Bonus ha ha. I started crocheting my nieces blanket which is purple so I'm alternating between that and the black one. Black during day when I get a chance. I can't lift anything heavy which is a nuisance. Your poor hand. My nephew had trouble with his arm. He broke it years ago. It never healed properly and he had it in plaster for 12 weeks in total. It aches and gives him hell. I'm tired so I'm off to bed. makerealbany - 2015-08-10 23:34:00
I did wonder if it was a rib and I'm not surprised you are tired at 11.30 at night. LOL. You are real night owl. I'd been in bed asleep an hour by then and I'm surprised we lasted till then. I had 2 naps by then as well. At least all the knitting on the 2nd cardy is done and it's half sewn together. Quite a productive evening grizzly4 - 2015-08-11 06:37:00
Nurse just rang and the second lot of X-rays show I have fractured the 7th and 8th rib. Ah well they are starting to heal. Got an easy day today . Crafting whoop whoop. makerealbany - 2015-08-11 09:13:00
Two ribs! Oh my goodness! My friend doesn't have her results back yet and is walking around with a hot water bottle trying to relieve the pain. Daughter S went back to her partners yesterday afternoon to find they had been burgled. The neighbours knew they were shifting soon so didn't think twice when a truck pulled up. They must have been doing the rounds because they didn't take anything they needed a truck for, even though there's 3 big flat screen TV's in plain site! She had been selling her diamonds on TM and they took those, all the small electronic stuff, her brand new $200 perfume she had been given for her birthday, $800 from the sale of her treadmill and her older Guess handbag and 2 laptops. I think it sounds like women did it. S was terrified they would come back so as their new house is empty they were able to get the keys early and we moved them in last night. Phew! What a mission, but pretty much done in 4 hours, they have kept the truck today and taken time off work to empty her house as well now. Luckily it's too busy at work for me to help during the day as I'm so stiff across the shoulders this morning. They will have to sort all the insurance stuff out today, too. Police had not arrived by the time we left there at 9pm to go to the new place. grizzly4 - 2015-08-12 06:54:00
How are you feeling, makerealbany? I've finished the cardy, now working on a beanie to match. I might have a full set ready for Monday, for a change. LOL. grizzly4 - 2015-08-13 07:03:00
Poor S the lousy devils. That was a fast move. You must be sore today. I feel better with the painkillers than I try to do something like hoovered one next minute I'm in agony. I can't hang washing either. It's frustrating but I am resting a lot. Painkillers tend to make you do that ha ha. I am working on the Purple blanket for my niece. makerealbany - 2015-08-13 21:36:00
I can only imagine the pain you are in and hope the coughing has settled 'cos that would be the last thing you need. Did you watch the programme on TV3 last night on the Oamaru Hospital? I was so moved by the commitment of the staff there I started a thread under General Discussion this morning. I guess I'm setting myself up to be slammed by the negative people out there but hopefully it affected others as it did me and the staff down there get to hear the positive feedback. grizzly4 - 2015-08-14 06:58:00
NoI didn't watch that programme. I was well looked after when I was in hospital. Yes I think it's good to get positive feedback. Had a lazy day. I was told to take it easy ha ha. My winter bulbs are flowering. It's nice to see. I moved some pots from the garden to the deck a few weeks ago which was lucky. I have been experimenting with my Nutri Ninja. Yummy. I seem to drink all day. Water, juice, coffee, etc. Think it's the meds. Well I'm off to bed now. makerealbany - 2015-08-14 23:32:00
Sounds like a lovely day for you. It's raining here today so no garden for me. Now that S and her partner B are settled they are doing tea for us again tonight. Yippee no cooking although I'm taking some bread and a dessert. There are so many S's and B's in our family now it's getting confusing but it's definitely too soon to say SIL. LOL. grizzly4 - 2015-08-15 11:00:00
Still raining, still no gardening. Dinner last night was lovely though and my dessert was a birthday cake for son S for Tuesday. Today might have to be knitting day although I have book work home so maybe..... grizzly4 - 2015-08-16 11:15:00
I looked at your thread. Really positive feedback. Visited little E today with her Dad. She's growing so tall and talking non stop lol. Really miss her a lot. Maybe I can get to see her more now that we are getting closer to settlement. My grandson is coming up from Christchurch for a few days, then down to Hamilton to see his Mum. He will come back up and flies back to Christchurch next Monday. I hardly saw him at Mum's Funeral because I was so busy. Looking forward to spending time with him. You do indeed have a lot of S and Bs ha ha. makerealbany - 2015-08-16 22:39:00
OMG I'm up even earlier! The electrics are playing up in I's car so have to take him to work. AND pick him up later on. S is caught up in a tribunal hearing this afternoon so I also have to pick up B7 from school. I'm going to the shop as usual but this afternoon not going into office. Can't be in all these places at once. grizzly4 - 2015-08-17 06:01:00
