Guest speaker was great. They are just a little informal group of women who met on a monthly basis to quilt together. They deliver quilts (about 50 per year) on a 6 monthly basis to the hospitals. Each child has to choose their own and their siblings are given one as well. Such a lovely idea. Our Family Support Worker met them yesterday as well and is now able to refer needy children to 'Quilts for Kids' as well. It was a good morning.
Had a reasonable day pain wise yesterday but this morning not so great. Luckily I just have meetings to attend today so no physical stuff required. I thought the wound on my leg was becoming infected last night but I think it might just be my skin reacting to the dressing. Took that off too now. LOL. Talk about walking wounded! I have a large bruise on the inside of the other knee and rows of bruises across both thighs from hitting the handle bars. LOL.

All those bruises will be hurting alright. I went to my GP for normal check up and the usual telling off about not taking it easy lol. She's like a record . Ha ha. I have just finished another lot of Tomato Relish and I'm heading to bed. For some reason this year everyone is keen on my preserving, etc. My grandchildren are eating it all and so are their parents . It's really strange having them ask for more of this and that. Nice to see my efforts are finally appreciated by my children after all these years. A is even making her own sauce.

Good on you. I haven't made any marmalade or jam this summer. And I miss not having it in the pantry. We are going to my niece's wedding tomorrow, weather doesn't look promising so no idea what to wear now. And Sunday looks cold as well so will probably avoid the river, too. Poor I. thought he was being nice (and he was) by buying me a fancy motor cross top and helmet. Couldn't get my colour choice for the top and I don't like the one he got and the helmet has turned out bigger than usual. Sigh.

Phew! That was a long week. Such a shame about the weather this weekend. But there are things around here that need to be caught up on. The beans have probably gone stringy as I haven't brought any in to freeze this week. In fact I haven't been down to the garden at all, I think I. brought in some tomatoes at one point. LOL.

grizzly4 - 2015-02-14 07:03:00
6555

We all went swimming this afternoon than had a roast dinner. The boys and M7 a resetting really good on their boards in the sea now. It was so hot here. The sea was rough but still quite warm. The kids will all be sleeping in tomorrow we hope lol. My tomatoes were terrible in pots. Fluctuation of watering. Sigh. This being in two houses doesn't help. A's Tomatoes are really prolific though. This will be the last weekend my daughter has to work yah.

That will make a difference for you. Wedding was lovely and we had a good time catching up with family we haven't seen for ages. It was good to see the bride and groom happy, they have had such a hard year. Their wee girl was born a year ago and started having seizures within 3 months. Between the epilepsy and the drugs she has been given she is facing enormous developmental delays. But she is such a good girl.

grizzly4 - 2015-02-15 10:40:00
6557

Oh that us so sad about their wee girl. It is so hard being a parent at times. I still worry about J4. He is still very shy and nervous around people. He goes to school later this year. He's as bright as a button and had an excellent vocabulary if he decides to join in conversations. All those hospital stays and medical dramas have had a huge impact on his development in the wider world. I'm absolutely bushed tonight. Just got home and my pillows look so inviting.

6558

Didn't do much yesterday but it was a bad pain day and I still feel like we had a huge weekend. Couldn't finish my knitting for shop today for yet another week. Getting to be very frustrating.

grizzly4 - 2015-02-16 06:51:00
6559

Oh you poor thing. I woke up with a sore back so took it easy and rested until I drove back up tonight.

makerealbany - 2015-02-16 23:59:00
6560

I think it's the lack of information that makes it so difficult. Cast was removed and all I was told was that rest would make it heal faster. I absolutely cannot not use that hand. It just happens and It's not till after or during a task I realise I maybe shouldn't have. I have no idea whether knitting is helpful or making it worse. But I certainly can't knit for hours like I did before. The mornings are the worst by the time I have showered and got dressed the pain is dreadful. At least Neuromol kicks in within 20 minutes but can only take them 6 hourly so you have to stretch it out further to make sure the last dose is just before bed. Any earlier than that and the pain has already kicked in before my shower and then it's impossible. Sigh. Sorry for whinging.

grizzly4 - 2015-02-17 06:54:00
6561

Finally finished the knitting of cardy, beanie and bootees. 3 weeks to do what would normally take me 1 ! Off to learn to play croquet with the Women's Group this morning.

grizzly4 - 2015-02-18 06:44:00
6562

It will take time grizzly for your hand to heal. Months. Whinge all you want I can handle it ha ha. I do it often enough. Power went off at 11 last night and came on at 4. I woke up because my bedroom light was on. Daughter is off to work now. She got the job she wanted but the 45 staff have not been told yet!!!!!!! And she takes over on Monday. So she is hoping they will be told today. Very awkward to say the lest. She went to court again yesterday. It's the same old garbage being recycled and her lawyer had sent another in his place and she was useless so once again into the fray. I am concentrating on my weaving as K5 joined the Kapa Haka Group so he will need it soon. He starts After School care next week. Weare calling in there thus afternoon after his swimming lesson. He's very excited about it. Three children in his class go to it and they pick them up at the school.

You could have turned the light off and gone back to sleep!! LOL. Sounds like K is growing up fast. My lot are 10, 8 and 7 this year with attitude to match. I have bought them onesies for their Easter presents this year. LOL. I. wanted one as well and he wants a onesie party to celebrate as well. LOL. Big kid! I sewed up the baby set last night so I finally have something to take into the shop on Monday, although I won't be there for long as I have to do a presentation to a local Probus group then I have he afternoon off work as S. is having her next lot of surgery. Another tumour on her bowel, some repair work where a twist has formed at the site of the last procedure and more clean up of endo. They are having to take biopsies of some areas to check for cancer cells as that's the next thing she has to worry about. Apparently.

grizzly4 - 2015-02-19 06:46:00
6564

Oh my gosh.....I. has bought my a brand new quad bike the same as his!!!!! I love his bike as it's so light and easy to manouvre, no straining to steer round corners like mine. I was planning to get one for next summer depending on money of course but now it's all sorted. I am so excited, LOL. It's on it's way from Palmerston North so taking longer than I's which came from Manukau. But it's not like I'm in a rush. Bruising has all gone so I no longer like I've been beaten up LOL but the pain is a bit horrific still. The anti-inflammatories are starting to aggravate my reflux, I think, too. But panadol does nothing to take the edge off to get through the day. Sigh. Still I might have a pretty, new bike to sit on in the garage by the weekend. LOL.

grizzly4 - 2015-02-20 07:09:00
6565

Ha that pretty new bike will make up for everything. That's really great that I bought you that bike. So he should. You deserve it and much more. I hope your girl will be ok.she has it tough alright. My girls new job won't start for two weeks now. Apparently the existing Managers( none of which got a position) did not take it very well at all. One left and the other two stirred the troublemakers up . Two others went on sick leave. None of them know yet who has the position. Talk about bad behaviour and unprofessional ism. It's unbelievable. Anyway secret Santa is on his way ha ha.

makerealbany - 2015-02-20 07:34:00
6566

Amazing how some work places deal with stuff, isn't it? Including companies that sell quad bikes! I. bought it over a week ago and so far it has only made it as far as Wellington from Palmerston North! Apparently won't be here till the middle of next week. I.'s was here in 2 days from Auckland! I'm not sure which of us is more disappointed. LOL. Still I have a bit of painting to be done in the bathroom and gardens to catch up on so some time at home is definitely needed. I'm working on an 8ply matinee jacket that is knitted all in one to armholes. 226 stitches wasn't the wisest choice I've made recently. LOL.

grizzly4 - 2015-02-21 06:50:00
6567

226 stitches oh my rather you than me ha ha. That is disappointing about your Quad Bike. A18 left for Victoria University today. She called in this morning to say hurrah to us as well as little T. He was happy to see her but when she left he just sat on my doorstep watching her ha ha. My son said Mum has spoilt him rotten. He's not leaving her in a hurry. I gave A the Shrub and Shawl I had knitted for her and she was delighted. Asked me to knit her another thicker scarf and a black shrub. I spent the rest of the morning helping A and S tidy up the bottom paddock as S cut down another huge Pine tree. It was nearly as long as the paddock. Next years Firewood. It's all ringed up now. Weaving tonight for another hour maybe ha ha.

makerealbany - 2015-02-21 22:38:00
6568

We were in bed by 10, exhausted after a day filled with noisey kids. LOL. B6 stayed over as S. went out to dinner before facing surgery on Monday. Goodness how long this jacket is going to take as I'm only managing 4 rows at a time. Have those neighbours of yours moved on yet?

grizzly4 - 2015-02-22 09:38:00
6569

Not until the end of March but we are ignoring them lol. We took all three dogs for a run down at our park which is 5 minutes away. They have a special dog Area there. Everyone was exhausted after all the running and walking. I had a quiet afternoon. Baked a loaf of bread and some Pikelets. Sat and read.watched Food TV . I am enjoying that show lately. I have been weaving again. It takes ages to do 4 rows as well.

makerealbany - 2015-02-22 23:01:00
6570

A quite day for us yesterday. It was drizzly and a lot cooler so only did a bit of weeding. I. worked on his brother's quad bike to finally get it out of our garage. He is always taking on jobs for someone else and then takes years to do them. LOL. With all the drama over my arm the last couple of weeks we haven't done the bit of painting needed in the bathroom either. I did more knitting yesterday than I have done in 2 weeks but still only up to the armholes. The weekends just fly by. I'm at the shop this morning and then have to speak to a Probus group then home by lunch time. S's surgery is scheduled for 11 so will be close at hand as soon as she is out of theatre.

grizzly4 - 2015-02-23 06:30:00
6571

Hope S's surgery went ok. I did some weeding on the bank and boy oh boy did I perspire. A is on a baking binge. She baked sausage rolls, fruit tart and pinwheel pastries. Yum. I have had a break and now I have to walk down and bring all the tools back. Sigh. Then I'll have a shower and go up to the beach. J just brought me over a plate of baking. He's so cute. Said" Hi Nan these are for you Mama baked them all by herself. She's a very good cook now aye" it's nice to receive baking instead of giving it for a change ha ha.

makerealbany - 2015-02-23 17:12:00
6572

S was bumped up the surgical list yesterday so was home by lunchtime. Her anxiety levels went through the roof in recovery with one woman throwing up constantly and a wee boy freaking out with no parent there to support him. S. asked the nurse to ask the taxi she could see out the window if it would get her home instead of calling me! Sigh. She is strictly liquid diet for 4 weeks while they find out if there are triggers for this new condition. She can have meal replacement soup (at $6 per packet) once a day, complan once a day, the rest has to be water or non-sugar, non acid drinks.

grizzly4 - 2015-02-24 06:39:00
6573

Poor S she'll be as skinny as a rake on that diet. I feel so sorry for her not knowing what the hell is next. When J4 was in hospital after his latest surgery there were a few children by themselves. Surely someone close could be there. If the parent is a single parent it can be very hard but even as a widow with 5 children I could always get someone to fill in for me so I could get to the hospital. Some Employers are not reasonable, some parents can't stand to see their sick children and some parents!!!!!! Well. K5 is coughing so I kept him home. He was fishing with his uncle on Saturday . Duh he always ends up sick because he heats up quickly and men don't remove sweatshirts and then when it's chilly they do. Dim witted males in this family. Honestly it's so annoying. Telling them off makes me feel like a record stuck on the same tune. Mind you if K wears a sweatshirt in the morning to school we have to remind him to take it off when he gets warm because the teachers don't tell them. At 5 he's got to learn to be more responsible for himself. Sigh.

makerealbany - 2015-02-24 11:25:00
6574

We are always seeing children coming across from school with no shoes on or over/under dressed for the weather. I was constantly on the staff member whose job it is to pick up our 5 and 6 year olds to check what they are wearing before leaving the school grounds. The number of times she would walk them across in the rain without jackets because they had left them hanging in the cloakroom!!!!! Duh. My pet peeve this year is keeping our buildings secure. Honestly, the number of times doors haven't been locked or windows left open or equipment left outside in the playground! It's a nightmare. And I sound like a stuck record too. LOL.
Women's Group is going Punting on the Avon river this morning if the weather holds out.

grizzly4 - 2015-02-25 07:03:00
6575

Punting was excellent, beautiful morning weather wise. Southerly didn't hit till the afternoon. I watched ' The Day My Life Changed' on TVOne last night. I thought it was really well done especially after reading the write up about it in the tv Guide. A bit anxious going to bed last night after reliving the noises etc, interesting some of the things I remembered after 4 years that hadn't come back to me before. Even though I didn't during the hour of that programme I did manage to finish and sew up a matinee jacket. Things are getting back to normal, although I still don't have my new bike!

grizzly4 - 2015-02-26 07:00:00
6576

You ok, makeralbany? I hope you haven't caught whatever caused K's cough. Lots of coughs and colds going on down here now the weather is so changeable. Sigh, looks like Summer is at an end once more. Didn't that happen fast? I'm working on a dolls dress from a pattern I bought on TM. Done in 4ply on 4mm needles so not taking long. So far it's not as effective as I thought it was going to be but maybe once it's finished.....

grizzly4 - 2015-02-27 06:44:00
6577

Oh, by the way, my bike arrived in Christchurch yesterday. Took exactly 2 weeks to get here!!!!! We will pick it up tomorrow.

grizzly4 - 2015-02-27 06:45:00
6578

Yah for your bike. I'm ok but it's been a hell of a week. Meant to post last night but was working out a Tender Application for my niece. T has to work tomorrow grrrr. They finally told the staff so she is officially the boss. Lol. K went to school today and then to Afterschool Care at the Youth Centre. He really like it so We are pleased about that. T has not managed to get a Nanny yet for three Mornings. 5.30 until 9. K starts school at 9. So I will be doing every day next week. Still got legal battles going on sigh. I think I need a holiday far far away ha ha.

makerealbany - 2015-02-27 23:26:00
6579

What was I saying about a holiday mmmmmm. Had a busy morning with my grandchildren. K spent the night so at 6.30 M7 was over for a Pancake breakfast and her little brother was here by 7 lol. I baked them scones for morning tea and their Mum and Dad arrived home after lunch. S has made gates for my deck so he had to go and buy the gate locks. A also dragged S around looking at bedroom suites. They badly need new chests of drawers. We have fixed the runners on their drawers so many times. Besides A bought that suite about 20 years ago. Only problem is they have different tastes ha ha. A prefers solid wood but S is into modern stuff. I had Rimu Chests made years ago and they are as good as when I first got them. Solid and strong. Took K home after a fun day having water fights with everyone in the paddock . He was very reluctant to go home lol.

makerealbany - 2015-03-01 00:16:00
6580

Lots of highs and lows for you this week by the sounds of it. We had a quiet day yesterday just the 2 of us. Picked up my bike, they gave us a $100 Lone Star voucher for dinner and a $70 discount on a new helmet for me for our big bike. I find I am very claustrophobic since the earthquakes so haven't worn a full face helmet. The new one has a flip top front so I can release it when I need to quickly.

grizzly4 - 2015-03-01 12:13:00
6581

I would be claustrophobic too. Well I did a silly thing today. I was weedspraying with the knapsack on my back. Decided to go down a steep bank duh. Slipped and somersaulted down to the bottom. Landed on my right side smashing my face into the ground. No broken bones. I am very bruised and feel really stupid but lucky. M7 was playing in the bottom paddock and when I finally stopped seeing stars a little figure appeared on the top of the bank. She was so good. Didn't panic at all. I rested all afternoon and drove up about 7. Going to bed now. Need an early night ha ha.

makerealbany - 2015-03-01 21:45:00
6582

Oh, that sounds awful! I hope you are feeling better this morning. Didn't go for a ride yesterday as BIL was supposed to come and pick his bike up that I. fixed for him. Never showed. But I. and his friend have altered the trailer so it's a better fit for our 2 bikes now. I caught up on a bit of gardening and housework. Much rather have been out on the bike, LOL. I've got an early start at the shop today to catch up on the end of month stuff before going to a funding workshop for work at 10.

grizzly4 - 2015-03-02 06:42:00
6583

Yes I was sore and sorry today ha ha. Slept all afternoon woke up really stiff. I look very battered. Went for a walk along the beach tonight with T and K. K picks up shells and other paraphernalia ho ho. The two little dogs just love walking on the beach and trying to lord it over much bigger dogs. T looked very happy tonight after her first day as the boss. She works 8 hours a day so K is very happy to see Mum at night.

makerealbany - 2015-03-03 00:01:00
6584

Sounds like this could be the break T needs, at long last. Fingers crossed for her. It's been 31/2 weeks since I hurt my wrist. I have just had my first 24 hours between pain relief but pretty sore this morning. Maybe I should stay on them morning and night for a bit longer. I have had someone suggest diabetes for Jinx, our cat that hasn't been well for ages. But I would have thought this would have shown up in the blood tests when they checked her thyroid and kidneys, don't you think? Also had quote back to fix my wedding and engagement rings after being cut off by hospital staff. They made such a shocking job on the wedding ring that all up it's costing $200!!!!! It was $30 to fix I.'s last year when he ripped it apart on the truck.

grizzly4 - 2015-03-03 06:47:00
6585

Poor Jynx. Yes you would think so. Yikes $200. I would stay on them longer too. I'm so tired that tumble or Clown act ha ha has really knocked me around. Feet are swollen and I'm hoping my PF doesn't come back again. Made some Hot Tomato Relish for T today. Also made some bread. Going to bed. Can't keep my eyes open lol.

makerealbany - 2015-03-04 00:03:00
6586

Maybe you should be sitting with your feet up rather than making relish! It seems this week is one for unexpected costs. LOL. I. just received a $150 fine in the mail for an accident he had in the truck last week. Sigh. I feel sorry for him really. He was just taking off at a round about and was doing between 12 and 15k's per hour when the truck ahead stopped for some reason. I. braked straightway but his 21 ton didn't slow fast enough to prevent a rental Barina from being squashed in the middle. Thank goodness no-one was hurt. Even the police said there was no way it could have been prevented and I. was not at fault but the fine has to be issued as standard practice for hitting someone in front.

grizzly4 - 2015-03-04 06:46:00
6587

Yes maybe I should ha ha. Standard Revenue gathering from I. I often think I will be in a car crash at the roundabout up here. Even crawling along there have been near misses. I cleaned out cupboards for T today while K was at school. I raced home yesterday to pick up some more meds but I will be here until Friday night. Cannot be bothered driving up and down every day. I've just taken the dogs for a walk around the park so now I'm going to do some weaving. My grandson split up with his girlfriend and she has moved out but came tonight to pick up the dragon. Very expensive pet that one. Less for me to look after lol. My grandson just needs to be on his own and the stress of being in a relationship as well as his new meds is far too much. The Neurologist gave him some tools to try and get the neurotransmitters firing again but it will be a long hard road even if it works, sigh. Today was another lovely sunny day. Very warm still.

Yep it's great weather here too. Supposed to be 27 again today. I'm trying to be responsible about watering the garden with restrictions being placed as close as Rakaia now. But then you see places like Sanitarium with lush green lawns and huge sprinklers going. Yesterday most of the water was being blown over the cars travelling along the road anyway. Such a waste. I've decided to use up some wool bits and make another fairisle cardy like the one I did last year with the orange bands. Fun to do until I have to sew in all the ends, LOL. Couldn't stay awake long enough to do much last night. The Women's Group started a two week project making a polar fleece cuddly for themselves. Yesterday they planned their applique design to go on it and cut out the pieces then started the blanket stitch edging around the main piece. Next week they will stitch on their design/picture. I love the different ideas a group of women come up with when they get together. And the colurs are amazing.

Thank goodness it's Friday, I'm beat. S. has her results finally. The tumour is excess protein cells but they don't know why her body is creating them. But at least that's the best solution we could want at this point. She slipped the other night helping B6 out of the bath and hit her tummy on the edge of the bath. Broke 2 of her stitches but had healed enough for them not to have to be redone. (Shudder). She is allowed to have more food now, as if she hasn't already! The alterations to our trailer are just about finished so I am really hoping to get out to the river this weekend. Weather doesn't look too good, though. I can't believe it's been 4 weeks since we were out last, and such a waste of the last month of summer!

I've brought funding accountability home to do this morning, I have housework to do, end of month stuff for the shop, the blanket stitch edge of my cuddly to finish, a fairisle cardy to finish, I.'s jeans to hem, other mending, a dress to make still and oh yes, remember that cardy I knitted myself, that still needs sewing up. LOL. AND lets not forget the garden that needs some attention. But of course priorities are organising a meal for family tonight. I wonder if they would like to do the rest for me so I can go out on the bike? LOL

grizzly4 - 2015-03-07 06:34:00
6592

Wow your bikes look so cool. I'm very envious ha ha. Bugger everything else go for a ride. If I had that bike I would be off ho ho. So nice to be at home. Just maxing out today. Hurrah. Peace and quiet. Well sort if I have the three dogs home today but it's windy so they are napping. Maybe I'll join them ha ha.

makerealbany - 2015-03-07 14:56:00
6593

Made some Cucumber and Apple Relish today as A had cucumbers she had grown to spare . Turned out ok. I made three Loaves of bread as well. Gave A one to go with her jar of relish and bought the other two up here tonight. Everyone was asleep when I got here and the house was locked up. However my grandsons car was unlocked. I give up telling him. He forgets 5 mins later. Sigh. I have had a lazy weekend really. Enjoyed the pace ha ha.

6594

Busy day Saturday, I got most of the things done I wanted to plus took family to Chipmunks. Yesterday took BIL's quad to him as he still had not picked it up and we are a bit desperate for space in the garage. LOL. River was in flood so didn't go out on bikes and very cold. Found another track this side of the river to try so going to make some phone calls about it. Might be a good one for winter if the river takes over where we normally go.

Had a busy day catching up at my daughters. My grandsons girlfriend who moved out was here on Friday, then called in Sat apparently and turned up tonight grrrr. What part of moving out didn't she get? I have noticed the difference in many ways. Clean main bathroom, half the towels , paper towel rolls not disappearing, etc, etc. Power and water will be cheaper too. T will be blowing her stack very soon. About time too. Some people take advantage of those who are too darn kind for their own good. I'm getting a haircut tomorrow morning then I have to organise T to get groomed. Gosh his wool Grows so quickly. Lucky my son is paying for it forever ha ha. Then car needs registering, etc, etc. Have to bake more bread as little K loves it and prefers it. " That shop bread Nana is not as nice as yours". We had a casserole for tea and he asked for the bread. " it's perfect with casserole Nana ". We had some Girl Guides selling their biscuits today. $3.50 a packet. I asked one of the Mums how they were doing. She told me our 4 packets were the first they had sold out of 10 houses. Mmmmmm. No weaving tonight.

makerealbany - 2015-03-10 00:09:00
6596

Those biscuits aren't the same as when I was a Brownie/Girl Guide or even when S. was. We haven't made our own bread for ages. I. used to make the most amazing cheese and herb bread and spicy fruit bread. I must have a wee word with him . LOL. I haven't seen or heard from S's ex in the 12 months they have been apart. Mind you only saw him at Christmas for last few years, too. Sigh. S. needed someone to pick up B6 from his Dad's one weekend and ex said not to send me! Very odd, Goodness knows what I've done or is just feeling guilty because of the support I gave him for 12 years?! And so he should.

Big day today. Week 2 of the Women's Group cuddly making project. Hopefully we are all at the same point today after finishing the blanket stitch edging for homework. LOL. Today we applique our designs on to it but I'll bet there will be some that arrive after missing last week and want to start from scratch. Then MSD are with us this afternoon to do our 2 yearly approval for our childcare programmes. Hopefully I'm prepared enough for that. I have finished a fairisle cardy, just need to put buttons on but at least I bought buttons for my cardy as well. LOL. One step closer to sewing it up. I've used the leftover wool from fairisle cardy to crochet a dolls blanket. One way of stopping the bits from collecting up.

You must be busy! I hope you're not overdoing it, makerealbany. Yesterday was very productive, at work and at home. LOL. Buttons are on fairisle cardy (but not on mine yet), wee blanket is finished and I knitted a pair of baby socks as well. I was on a roll. Approval Assessment went very well, thank goodness and blankets turned out beautifully. Most of us have a little bit left to do at home but they were very pleased with what they achieved.

Omg would you believe I have not been online. Was so busy forgot to log in duh. Heaps of emails. It seems so hectic lately. Still no suitable Nanny to help out. I wouldn't even leave my dogs with some of them. We are not into glamorous, flick your head types , texting on phone types while speaking to you, or do you mind if my child comes with me. To start at 5.30. I would never take them anywhere at 5.30 except for a medical emergency. T had more mediation for the legal stuff. By the time it's over there won't be any money left grrrr. It's unbelievable that a wife can be cheated of matrimonial property like this. 3 years . Lawyers are making a fortune . She told her lawyer. No more mediations, etc. They had the nerve to ask at the last one for access to her son. They have never personally rung her so that was removed from the table and not even discussed. Lol. The Trust for her son will be taken away and his money will go into a Public Trust Fund for him. So little gains but he will be lucky to get a fifth of the money his dad left him in that Trust that his family have squandered. All that stress is not good. I try to relax about it all but how can you? My ex DIL denied that I had lent them $90,000 when they bought their house so we had to provide all the dicumentation to prove it. My son made it very clear that this was indeed the case. After all I have done for that girl she tried to rip me off to put it succinctly . Sigh. Anyway Mum wants me to go down on Friday night for the weekend and I will go if it doesn't rain. We need rain so it will be great if it does rain. I don't want to travel in it though ha ha.

Just got a copy of latest legal stuff Dil has admitted $90,000 was received from me but was unsure if it was a gift duh. Very funny how they backtrack when you supply evidence isn't it? That makes me feel a better. Time to wash my car after I vacuum the house for my girl. Then I am off home to pack my bag for tomorrow. This afternoon K has swimming so that's fun as M and J have their lessons at the same time. Have a great day.
