Wow Kuaka for the rest of us, it probably feels like a fast year. For you it will have taken a lot longer Im guessing. I bet your still very much missing the boat and the holiday you never had. I understand what you are going through. Ive just wasted over an hour looking at Pinterest at things to do with Jars.. OMg soo many fun ideas. There will definitely be a few gifts done in them for Christmas. I will now get back to my needles too.. popeye333 - 2015-01-24 19:43:00
wow a year kuaka, it seems like yesterday we were reading about MrK's accident. It's certainly been a tough year for you. I love your curtain choice, gorgeous fabric colour. And little puss is such a cutie :) The builder phoned this afternoon and they will be here Tuesday morning to start their magic. Monday is Auckland Anniversary so a holiday. Soo excited, but have lots to do over the next couple of days to be organised for them. Finished the front of the wee jumper and started one sleeve, so am slowly getting there :) kiwimade64 - 2015-01-24 21:24:00
Hi there popeye. Sorry to intrude people. I just wanted to let you know popeye, that I'm actually cj707. I used to use my daughter's account and have now got my own but I'm not liking it and am feeling very invisible and am thinking of perhaps changing to something a bit more like my old name. Anyway, just thought I'd let you know that I'm still here and pop in here from time to time to see how you are getting on. I'm getting an organiser lady in on Tuesday to give me a hand because my life and house are in total chaos as is my mind. mndy1 - 2015-01-24 23:55:00
morning ladies and hi cj! Nice to 'see' you again. I bet you feel invisible, you know who you are but we didn't! And you aren't intruding, the more the merrier :) ooohhhh an organiser lady, now that's a clever idea. You'll have to let us know how she 'does'. I'm up early this morning so I can beat the heat outside. I want to finish this corner of the garden as there is shade until around morning tea time. Then I'm off to the supermarket to find some boxes for ornaments and odds and ends. Might even get some more knitting done, the sleeves won't take long to do. Happy knitting :) kiwimade64 - 2015-01-25 07:10:00
Thanks kiwi. Yes I will definitely let you know how I get on. Unfortunately I don't have much energy at the moment but at least if she can give me some ideas then that will be a start. mndy1 - 2015-01-25 07:21:00
Morning everyone... Welcome back Cj / mndy1... Don't be a stranger your most welcome to hang around in here with us. Ohhh it will be fun having an organiser lady... I enjoyed my bit yesterday and its soo good not seeing stuff lying all over the chair next to me. Tomorrow I go to my friends to start sorting her out.. I hope she realises how ruthless I can be... I will make allowances for her sentimentals, but she has to let some stuff go. Hardly a word has been said about Auckland anniversary, its strange. You normally hear about it more than we have. Im hoping to get the cushion cover done today, but Kirsty is on, so I might record that. Just to cheer people up... 11 months till Christmas lol. I can honestly say Im getting organised decorationwise anyway lol Have a good day everyone.. I better go take the bread out, hate soggy bread lol popeye333 - 2015-01-25 09:20:00
morning all. been knitting and sewing so late getting here, we will have had our 2 pussies a year being of next month so yes time flies. shut up about Christmas popeye can't afford it right now after I pay for my new tyres , carolev - 2015-01-25 09:49:00
Oops Carole, re Christmas... Plenty of time to get organised .. Had my wires crossed , my friend is going to see her Aunt for her Annual visit tomorrow so it will be Tuesday when we start her de-cluttering. And since I haven't done my cushion today, I will have time tomorrow now. Its hot outside, so pleased Im not in it. popeye333 - 2015-01-25 12:19:00
thought you might enjoy this pic I have just taken. This little guy was playing under the hose as I was watering in some plants I moved this afternoon. And this is the urn MrK helped me move the other day, blardy heavy! http://trademe.tmcdn.co.nz/photoserver/full/359740800.jpg And I have managed seven rows of knitting on a size 2-3 sleeve lol. Oh well, tomorrow is another day :) kiwimade64 - 2015-01-25 15:59:00
Love the pics Kiwimade, Gosh your grass is sooo green... Ours will look horrible after its mowed tomorrow.. But I think there's rain coming so it wont take long to freshen up. Love the Urn, very pleased you didn't attempt that one on your own... Ive done four hearts today. need to cut more ribbon now. Tidied up my sewing table, put buttons away, they will change their place when I get the jars on Thursday tho. Have just spent the last hour in the hot kitchen prepping a bacon and egg pie. its cooking now, in the pie maker thank god.. Doing dishes etc.. Probably get told off and thank you'd at the same time cos I moved the Couch "cough cough" lol and put a lead behind so we can put the tall fan on MrP. Finally he admits he needs one in the lounge. So that's all ready for him. He will now get up, cos the dishes are done and its time for his bs'ls and I will need him in the bedroom lol. Oh Picked a few blackberries last night, they are lovely big fat ones.. Yumm. popeye333 - 2015-01-25 16:49:00
Mmmm yum, blackberries, haven't had any for years. Oh well, such is life. Here's a pic of my efforts at moving that big terracotta pot: http://trademe.tmcdn.co.nz/photoserver/full/359780495.jpg and here's a pic of the bruise I earned as a result of my encounter with moving the blasted terracotta pot: http://trademe.tmcdn.co.nz/photoserver/full/359781051.jpg and don't ask where that bruise is, suffice to say it's hidden away inside my bra. Ouch! Busy day today. Clean sheets on the bed, had to put new washing line up which meant putting new eyebolts up, (had to give in and ask Mr K for help in the end - and it nearly killed him) then, I mowed the wee patch of lawn that the lawnmowing guy doesn't do, then I sewed 7 of the 26 French pleats on the new curtain, then I sat and had a glass of wine before doing a barbeque for tea. Feet up time now. Edited by kuaka at 7:37 pm, Sun 25 Jan kuaka - 2015-01-25 19:29:00
Ouch Kuaka that looks uncomfortable hope it disappears quickly for you! - But the curtains look lovely fabric. Great photos Kiwimade, your garden looks lovely and the pot looks healthier than Kuakas :). Took the crocheted dishcloth with me and managed to finish one before running out of cotton. I am trying to get several more finished before my Sister goes home as I want to give her and my niece several each as I find them so good. jayemtoo - 2015-01-25 23:09:00
morning all. did more knitting last night nearly done the back this time it looks LONG so hope it fits. did sewing too and put the car though the car wash, grandson loved it carolev - 2015-01-26 06:39:00
morning ladies :) OMG Kuaka! that looks sore and your poor pot too! I hope you are on the mend quickly. mmmmmmm blackberries, haven't had them for years either. Carole, too long in length is better than too short! I remember going through car washes as a kid and we loved it too. Was a real novelty for us as Mum and Dad always washed the car 'by hand'. Supermarket today and then packing away photos and ornaments as builders come tomorrow. I have more compost to spread this afternoon, The Warehouse had 40 litre bags for $5.10. Our compost bin has been emptied and is slowly being refilled. Go through compost here like water as the soil isn't the best. Once all that is done, I'm going to knit. I want to get this wee jumper finished! Happy knitting :) kiwimade64 - 2015-01-26 07:46:00
Morning everyone. Ouchies Kuaka, that Must hurt... Im sure there is something you can do with the bits of terracotta, even if its just broken in the bottom of another pot for drainage. Jayemtoo, sounds like you had fun. When I was a kid we used to go to my Uncles farm at hay making time, the best part were the picnic dinners and swimming in the massive water hole that they had. Sadly tho once I had my ears pierced I couldn't swim in it, it would infect my ears badly.. But I would sit in it at least. Silly us, MrP got up and put the recycle bin out, we got up early since its lawn mowing day... and.... DOH its anniversary day so there wont be any rubbish collection, and I doubt the lawn boys will turn up either, although they might since its going to be wet on Wednesday. So once Im finished here we will be doing the dishes, Im not leaving them till later when its too hot to do them, MrP will be helping, no excuses. Then Ill leave him in front of the tv and ill go and sew the cushion.. I got Melissa mouses feet and legs done last night. Its soo nice having a tidy work area, I can chop and change through which I want to do without having to drag stuff all over the place. Have a good day all. | 6516 | Afternoon ladies. More like winter here this morning than summer, but it has turned out okay, but it's very windy. The pesky curtain is now finished except for the hem (and then I will have to iron it - really looking forward to that as it's 2m high and 5.5m wide) and I had to stop and do some running repairs halfway through this mornings efforts when I took a chunk out of my finger on the sewing machine needle. I didn't stitch my finger, I just caught it on the needle and it bled like crazy. So now it has a plaster on it which keeps catching on everything. My bruise is even more vibrant than it was yesterday. It's not sore now, but it was when I first did it. I've decided I won't be replacing the pot. I think I've earned an easy afternoon, so going to have some lunch and then knit. Wonder if my Deramores order will be waiting when I check the mail tomorrow. Hope so. Looking forward to it (not that I haven't got miles of other yarn to carry on with but it's always exciting getting parcels of yarn) Happy knitting everyone. kuaka - 2015-01-26 13:52:00
Ohh Kuaka our fingers are in sympathy with each other. Ive stuck mine (Same one) twice today. once on the machine and once hand sewing. I have a nice wide breakfast bar that I iron large stuff like that one.. Its handy. Ive had a productive day. Made the larger of these two cushions http://trademe.tmcdn.co.nz/photoserver/full/359882641.jpg And two stockings and three hearts. So tonight I can work on the mouse. It doesn't feel as bad as when I made the others.. Yet. lol. Wish I had a parcel arriving from Deramores.. it is always exciting to get the real thing. but alas I really don't need anymore wool. Im full to the brin for storage. It was warmer a couple of hours ago but its settled back again... Still we are over half way through summer now... Even tho I know Autumn can still be warm, Im hoping that it wont be lol MrP has left over bacon and egg pie for tea. I haven't decided what I want ... But Im tempted to have a mini pudding with milk and whipped cream lol popeye333 - 2015-01-26 15:34:00
morning all. finished back and started on front, did sewing yesterday as well . went to spotlight and bough a meter of backing , got home and there was only 1/2 a meter so called them up and they offered me a replaced whole meter. they also offer me a part time job in fabrics and wool carolev - 2015-01-27 06:29:00
morning ladies :) Wow everyone is so productive, I feel quite slack with my knitting lol. I bet it feels good to have that curtain finished kuaka. How do you iron it? Ouchies for all the injuries, my goodness who knew sewing was so dangerous lol. Sounds like you were lucky kuaka you didn't sew your Are you going to take the job carole? Would be some extra pocket money for you. The builders are coming today and the house is being painted in two weeks so it's all go here now. Am about to phone for a skip bin so all the rubble can be thrown into it and the pile of rubbish by the back door can also be binned. So there goes my knitting for a few more days I guess, but worth the 'sacrifice' to get the house looking good. Happy knitting :) kiwimade64 - 2015-01-27 07:28:00
Morning everyone. Wow its all go now Kiwimade. But it will be good when done eh. You wont be left having all the work to do, since you have done heaps beforehand. Ohh a perfect Job Carole.. Wouldn't be for me, too much standing, and Id never have any pay, it would go home in a bag of wool lol. Off to my friends this morning to start her declutter.. We are only doing mornings. That way we both get time for other stuff in the afternoon. Or in my case my crafts and lounge chair lol. Have a good day everyone popeye333 - 2015-01-27 08:20:00
buggar it, builder phoned this morning to say his worker has hurt his back so won't be starting until Thursday. Oh well, gives the skip bin people time to get a bin to us and for me to start biffing the big pile of plaster board and other rubbish. Am a tad disappointed but can't be helped. I've mowed the lawn and primer painted four long weather boards this morning. Weather boards are for the new porch being built and we thought if I primer painted them it would be less for our painter to do. And easier to paint them off than on the walls. Was chatting to carolev on the phone while painting lol, us women can multitask! have three more to do either this afternoon or tomorrow morning. I found this when mowing the lawn this morning. It's aptly called 'dog vomit slime' and is harmless but have never seen it before in over 25 years of gardening. Thought the dog had been sick when I first saw it. At the rate I'm going I'll get some knitting done after all today. Happy knitting :) kiwimade64 - 2015-01-27 10:15:00
might have to take back what I said about the knitting lol. Daughter just phoned and she is coming with our grandy and her MIL to visit for the afternoon. Must of known something we didn't lol as they couldn't visit with Maddy if builders were here :) kiwimade64 - 2015-01-27 11:08:00
Wow what a morning of changes for you Kiwimade... Seeing Maddy is far better than listening to hammering going on lol.. Spent a good productive 2.5 hours with my friend. Going through stuff, reminiscing, at photos etc.. Shes a real sentimental girl and has lots of historical family stuff. It really just needed sorting through into boxes to be in the same place and packed better. I think we emptied 4-5 boxes. MrP did the few dishes we had... so I have an afternoon for my crafts popeye333 - 2015-01-27 12:38:00
daughter, grandy and daughter's MIL have just left. AND daughter has taken the very last of her stuff!!! wahoooo lol. I did get some knitting done, three quarters of the way up the sleeve now. Well done popeye, it can be hard to sort through family stuff but it should last longer if stored well. kiwimade64 - 2015-01-27 17:31:00
Well I haven't quite finished the pesky curtain, still got the hem to do, plan to do that tomorrow afternoon - maybe. When I was in the sewing room the other day I re-discovered a roll of fabric I bought a while ago and had forgotten about, and thought "cool, I shall make new curtains for our bedroom" but sadly I don't think there is quite enough so I shall have to re-think that. No parcel from deramores yet. Oh well, maybe tomorrow. My bruise is even more spectacular as these days go by, talk about multi-coloured. Vivid purple and green. That dog vomit slime looks interesting kiwimade, I can see where the name comes from, but where does the slime actually come from. Is it some sort of fungus? You would be disappointed in the delay with the building but lovely to get more time with the family. Absoslutely knackered tonight so might have an early one. Nite. kuaka - 2015-01-27 21:10:00
Sounds like your decluttering went better than mine popeye. We have a whole entire house and more that needs doing and we managed one basket of paperwork for a morning. So to make this relevant to crafters I had a sort of a tidy craftroom that has minimal use, now covered with paperwork. Oh well. It'll give me something to do... mndy1 - 2015-01-27 22:29:00
morning ladies :) What a shame about the fabric kuaka, I'm sure you will think of something to use it for. Cushion covers maybe? The 'dog vomit slime' is a fungi and spread by beetles according to Google. I had to look it up when I found it lol. Our daughter said mum, it's kinda gross but kinda cool all at the same time. Summed up how I felt when I saw it! aww mndy, it's no biggie, you will only feel the tugging and pulling, no pain. Dentists have changed their techniques lots over the years so you will be fine. And I love the idea of using meat skewers lol, very clever! Have lots to do today, finish primer painting the weather boards for our new porch, spread some compost, car needs to go in for a service, pick up MrK's script as it is almost the end of Jan and we won't get our free scripts for a while, library, and start throwing in the rubble from the reno into the skip (when it arrives!). Somewhere in between I will try and knit. kiwimade64 - 2015-01-28 07:39:00
Morning everyone. Mndy1 its a start, and it can take a little while to get big things done. My friend would have gone through every card she had and read each one, I said no, glance at the name but done read the lot if you want to. And Id hold things up keep or biff, so she got on a roll in the end. Mum and MrP learnt to knit on meat skewers. Handy things they were lol. Off to the drs this morning. Both needs scripts and since he is going to be away for 6 months we decided both would see him and then we can both just get a script next time and then be due again when he gets back. Wont have to see a diff dr unless something crops up. Im going to sew this morning. Had to cut the armholes on a couple of singlets I made MrP a while back. theres not much stretch so they were annoying him. Will be a very quick sew tho. Ive done 60+ hearts and stockings now.. HAve a good day everyone Ohh last night for the first time in Many years I slept right through... I must have been tired lol popeye333 - 2015-01-28 09:00:00
Morning Good work on the decluttering Popeye and Mndy, I think it is a bit of an age thing to start decluttering, I know I am getting rid of anything that I have not used for a while - or at least that is the theory but unfortunately something else seems to fill the space lol. Finished the cardy I was knitting for great-niece, it is red with a black fleck but so difficult to match the red buttons until we found some black elephant ones looked great on it and even better were only 30c each. Started knitting a Grover (sesame street character) hat last night as that is what the mother requested but the little one said that she really wanted an Elmo hat, so think I will go and get some red wool and her cousin can have the blue one. Have a good day knitting and/or crafting jayemtoo - 2015-01-28 10:00:00
Home from the drs finally.. Good news, the power stayed on and there wasn't any fire drills while we were there , like the last two times I went lol. And both our Blood sugars have improved Yay... Its gone from clear cloud free skys to very dark and we have had 6 spits of rain lol. Its humid with it tho. Can sit and do some crafts this afternoon.. Yay popeye333 - 2015-01-28 13:16:00
Afternoon ladies, I'm home from knit and natter, and I took along the knitting needle pouches and asked my friend to choose which ones she wanted, thinking she would take the two blue or the two green/cream. Nooooo, she took one of each! That's fine. I don't mind, and if it really bugs me too much, I can make another blue one so I have a matching pair. My deramore's order arrived today and it's all lovely - except for some stupid reason I ordered 5 x 100gm of cream instead of white, and it's quite a yellowy cream. Not sure how I managed that. Never mind. Good excuse to buy some more next time I'm near a woolshop! (it's not like I need any more of course) I've now got the old curtain spread on the dining room floor, and I shall measure it, and then measure the new one, turn the hem up and then sew the hem, iron the wretched thing and hang it. Might have to hang it without the lining, as I've just put the lining in to soak as it's dirty. Plan is to make another one, but not today. I've had a re-think and re-calculate about the fabric for the bedroom and I think I do have enough. Have a super afternoon everyone kuaka - 2015-01-28 13:45:00
afternoon girls been sewing all morning and knitting this afternoon, cooked dinner now time to play. rained a few spits up north of here but none here carolev - 2015-01-28 15:58:00
Ive had a quiet doo nothing potter on the comp afternoon. No more rain, I smelt it so it must have been close. Now I have tea cooking. A grumpy sulky b*gger on his bed cos I hurt him doing his insulin... Wish the district nurses could do it. He wouldn't abuse them. And Im likely to bite heads off if either speak to me. lol. popeye333 - 2015-01-28 16:43:00
Thanks for the words of encouragement folks. mndy1 - 2015-01-29 00:25:00
morning ladies, it's another lovely day here with no rain. Might work inside today and start prepping the bathroom for a lick of paint. Won't take long to paint once the peeling painted over wallpaper comes off. The house was a rental for a while and the owners did a slap dash quick paint job to tidy it up. Builders come tomorrow, we've been promised. They have a client who keeps adding to the job they are doing for him, frustrating for the builder and for us. Moral of the story, make up your blardy mind before you get tradies in! Lucky kuaka, it's the old adage isn't it, measure twice, cut once. Inserts sound like a great idea mndy1, you could put stripes or other patterns in the inserts if the tops are plain. If I get sick of prepping, I'm going to knit. Think we have had one, maybe two days off apart from Christmas from working on this house/garden since November. I would never survive 'The Block' lol. Happy knitting :) Edited by kiwimade64 at 7:28 am, Thu 29 Jan kiwimade64 - 2015-01-29 07:27:00
Morning everyone I totally agree re the low necks on larger clothes Mndy.. Massive armholes is another of my pet peeves. My problem being I don't have enough bust to help hold the tops up a bit and the armholes are nearly to my waist. Kiwimade you must be getting soo sick of all the decorating or Un decorating , but it will be so nice when your finished. Going to do groceries shortly. Then off to the superclinic later... EEKKk Spotlight has 50% off already marked yarns... Ill just see how we go for time lol. I didn't do any craft yesterday.. I was very short in temper, as you can guess by my message of anger.. Got annoyed with tv in the end and went to be and read instead. Very close to a melt down. Last night. Have a good day everyone. Going to be along one for us.. I hate being in the heat in the afternoon and my appointment isn't till 4pm... popeye333 - 2015-01-29 08:11:00
morning all. not to good again, sewing this AM carolev - 2015-01-29 08:48:00
just having a break, have scraped all the peeling paint off the windows and around the bath, scraped the sealant off around the bath so it can be replaced, pulled the first layer of wallpaper off and started steaming the bottom layer. No sizing on walls grrrrrrrrrrrr, so think I will sand it off. I want to prep the room to the same 'level' I have the hall and living room. Then I can just add the bathroom to the rounds of painting when I do sealing and top coats. MrK suggested we buy new taps so am going to price some. Think we are in for a rude shock price wise lol. It's my own fault really about this extra prep and painting as we weren't planning on painting the bathroom. Just seemed silly having enough paint to do it and not do it while everything is 'messy'. We all have those meltdown moments popeye, I think we need to let off steam every now and then. Do some knitting for me! Edited by kiwimade64 at 10:15 am, Thu 29 Jan kiwimade64 - 2015-01-29 10:13:00
Afternoon ladies. I can't remember when I last felt this miserable. Last night I started with a snuffly nose and kept sneezing, thought it was hayfever, but today I'm pretty sure it's a cold, throat is sore too, and talking about taps kiwimade, my nose thinks it's a tap. It just won't stop. I've been to Whangarei today to pick up my new washing machine. Can't bring it in yet as it's in the old wagon which I had to park down the road as we've had the bottom of the driveway tarsealed, and we can't drive on it yet. The chaps who did it are supposed to be coming back later to have a beer and said they would carry it in when they pick up their compactor which apparently broke down. (I think that might be why we can't drive on it yet, 'cos it wasn't compacted as much as they wanted - not sure). Anyway it's a pain in the you know where. I have a lady supposed to be coming at 4.30 wanting some sewing alterations done. I haven't met her before. I might ask her to come back in a few days when hopefully I'll have got rid of my bugs - I might sleep in the spare room tonight - I don't want to give this to Mr K - if he gets pneumonia that will finish him off. Think I'll have a cup of tea. I would have a brandy but if these chaps come back, then I have to go down the road, bring the vehicle up, park across the road on the double yellow lines, then when they've carried the machine across the road, I have to drive on up the road, turn round, come back past our place and park down the road. What a hassle. I tried to have a nap but couldn't get to sleep 'cos my nose wouldn't let me. kuaka - 2015-01-29 15:38:00
I am knitting for the prem babies if any of you have any spare wool it has to be wool or merino 4 ply. I dont mind paying for it thanks. twinkles - 2015-01-29 16:49:00
While I was in Whangarei I went to the local emporium and bought some lovely buttons, most were only 20 or 30c, the most expensive were $1.50, and the ones which were $1.20 at kerikeri were only 10c at the emporium, and if you can't find what you want here, you probably won't find it anywhere. I've never seen so many buttons to choose from. http://trademe.tmcdn.co.nz/photoserver/full/360644023.jpg Well the washing machine didn't get brought in 'cos those chaps didn't show up. Have to find someone tomorrow to move it. Really annoys me when people say they will do something and fail to follow through. Nite all. Edited by kuaka at 7:35 pm, Thu 29 Jan kuaka - 2015-01-29 19:34:00
buggar kuaka, wish we were closer and could help you and buggar about the cold. Seems a strange time of the year to get sick doesn't it. Hopefully your washing machine will be sorted out tomorrow and you will feel better after a good nights sleep. WOW!! I would be in button heaven at your emporium, just wow! Edited by kiwimade64 at 7:39 pm, Thu 29 Jan kiwimade64 - 2015-01-29 19:38:00
Oh Kuaka sorry about the drippy nose but wow for the buttons, probably a 6 hour trip is just a bit far to get buttons but I'm feeling oh so jealous about them. Your place will be great when it is finally finished Kiwimade and at least doing a thorough job like this will mean it should last for ages. Had the car in for a service today so got in a couple of good walks when dropping it off and picking it up again. The car is going to a niece this weekend, it is a 2003 so getting on a bit but will be ok for a run about while she saves up a bit as she has just finished her PHD so has been a student for a rather long time. Hopefully my new one will arrive in the next few days. Getting on with some knitting now, have a good night all jayemtoo - 2015-01-29 21:24:00
morning ladies :) Oohhh a new car jayemtoo, lovely! And you're right, doing the job thoroughly now will save us time and effort next time as well as the paint lasting. Builders are arriving this morning so no knitting today, there will be dust for Africa again over the next four working days. So I'll finish painting the bathroom windows and the shelf I started late yesterday afternoon and more than likely sand down the outside chairs and begin to paint them. They have been on the 'to-do' list for a while now. I'll post pics when I can of the fire coming out, poor poor me having builders to perv at today lol. Happy knitting :) kiwimade64 - 2015-01-30 07:08:00
Morning everyone. Ohh what breed of car are you getting Jayem? Hope all goes well with the builders etc Kiwimade. Do you know if you can double up on the antihistamines? I bunged up a couple of times yesterday. The Wattles and privit are flowering and we drove through a lot. Was tempted to take a second pill last night. But wasn't sure if it would be ok. Off to my friends for more decluttering today. she has been doing some when I haven't been there, so Im very proud of her for that. Cardiologist wasn't happy about my weight yesterday but understood when I told him about my fall and back. I went and picked up 38 Maccona coffee jars at a traders place on the way. Lovely couple. her Hubby put them in the car for me, which was great cos man they are heavy. But Shhh I didn't tell MrP just how heavy they were, when I carried them inside. I just told him the size of the box made me struggle. lol.. Miss Independent at work lol. Have an awesome day everyone. popeye333 - 2015-01-30 08:38:00
Good morning folks. The tooth out went well yesterday and I slept well last night. Just have to be careful not to do anything silly or strenuous to upset the clot for a couple of days. The kids have gone away for a couple of days so it's like being on holiday. mndy1 - 2015-01-30 08:51:00
Popeye, I hope come Valentines Day you will have no hearts left. I saw a Bless this House programme some time back and one of the houses was so OTT with hearts-perhaps the reason it was chosen. I am not a heart person but the thing I thought OK was a hanging ribbon of about 80-90 cm with 4 hearts spaced down it.. It may have had a hanging ring but I wasn't taking particular notice. How do you market yours? marywea - 2015-01-30 09:36:00
morning girls, I am having a shitty day, trying to do my embroidery and running to loo is not fun, well up first front now carolev - 2015-01-30 11:37:00
I haven't got as far as deciding how many to put on what length of cord yet marywea. Have spent the morning helping my friend again. We are certainly downsizing everything. More stuff for the oppy and stuff packed properly. Condensing the sizes of the boxes etc. So now a quiet afternoon in front of my fan popeye333 - 2015-01-30 12:40:00
