Yaaaay Coalie, you made the 6,000th. You are right about those auctions, the fat quarters are a really good buy, maybe flyboy is buying to resell.
Love those panels Twi. I didn't get my quilt pinned, have sort of got over it, maybe next week. BUT I did my a lovely burgundy and yellow fat quarter on the way home from craft this morning to put with that lot I cut out about a week ago - didn't want to start putting it together until I had got some burgundy to go with it. It is exactly right, so on with the cutting out and watch this space.

Congrats on reaching 6000. Twi, love the Stash Management. I have done as much as I can on my Sue Bonnet quilt top, next step is a trip to the fabric shop for sashings, backing & binding.

Yep Twi, I am but I am enjoying it. Have a look at this panel 274002653 reminds me of our twilight express trip to Alaska lol .
Twi I don't think that I am near as busy as you ladies.lol You have time to chat on the net, look after grandies, check out the auctions, and still have time for finishing your quilting. It takes me all day just to complete one task these days.

well its like this twi, when we moved to here I had to done size everything & all saleables are now gone, boohoo. lol
Thought the panels were very good but it might take at least ten years to get around to doing something with them & by then just might not be keen on sewing. Could be getting on in years, know what I mean hehehehehe. (three score years & ten)

hi liz now how you feel, i use to suffer from migranes for 10 years, not nice ,i had to take meds at onset of migrane then go to bed because they were so strong, they would knock me out for a few hours, didnt have them while i was pregnant thou

twilight, i'm usually on 2 preventer tablets a day, then paracetamol, ibuprofen and codeine at the onset (if it makes it past the preventers) with a litre of water (in under an hour) and sleep/rest in a dark room. This is the first one i've had during preg, which is one of the reasons my midwife wanted me to let her know as most who get them dont get them when preg (thank god as most of my meds are no-nos) and the severe headache + funky vision/lights etc can be a sign of pre-eclampsia. on the bright side confirmed my Gestational diabetes bloods came back clear (thought as much but always good to know for sure)

ive just been to fabric shop :)
so cotton is like fabric you think you have enough to choose from but its never quite the right colour haha lol

i came home and #3 daughter going to wellington all dressed in my clothes - had raided my wardrobe - and before you jump in here no shes not going to a fancy dress haha

Bhs i love the bee quilt oh and it has daisys tis lovely that would of been great for our grandy whos still to be born - Daisy bee - well thats if this babys a girl ;)
i have succumbed and am making her quilt now, i got sick of waiting to know what baby is, i have it made and am quilting it today. im going to write things on it like 'her' brothers and sisters names grandparents, date of birth, weight etc etc

aw liz thats not to good, the visual things is the were there is black swiggly lines in one eye then the other, i use to calll those my silent migranes :(
