Wow good for you Winnie.... Think I am going to make a conscious life decision to move away from the realms of Broken Dishwashers, blown hot water cylinders, broken letterbox's, muddy construction site, and budgeting to afford all of the above...... and start doing some more things that feed my soul.
We have an unused Car Ferry ticket for a trip to Waiheke for 2 that we got as a gift for Christmas, and also Movie Tickets from Flybuys, so these 2 actvities will cost us nothing, so suit the budget.

Not sky diving but something for me........

Hi everyone :)
I had a very quiet & relaxed day at home yesterday after my big adventure on Tuesday.
It's not in my contract that I have to do the activities on offer in the region but we are encouraged to; and it certainly helps with the job if I can refer to personal experience.
I plan on doing a wee tour in April or so next year and adding a few more ticks to my bucket list for other mad-capped activities on offer around the country!

Good for you toady - it's so easy to get caught up in the stress of life sometimes and forget to actually live & enjoy.

Waves to toady tis good to step back and recharge batteries moving house is a very big stressful job and when it's over and the dust is settled its good to have a break. Hope cooks is welt free. Am taking hubby famous BBQ pork roll for lunch local shops has a bakery that the que is out the door and halfway down the street they just make rolls and have 3 people making them, our Japanese restaurant below our apartment has chicken Katsu curry Wednesday's with miso soup for 13 our local club which we have joined does cheap arse Monday roasts 3 courses for 15 it's hard to summon energy to cook dinner when cheap food is only an elevator away :) biggest thing is trying to do more excercise to combat all these wonderful choices!

Hi everyone.. have been thinking of you all.. hope those itches have gone completely Pam.. that your hubby's sister is well again Earthangel and that all of you are well. Cool photo Rae.. you're braver than me!

Catching up with the thread.. currently in Hamilton and have been away from home for a while.. on a bit of a tour.. as far as Wellington where we went to the opening night show of Hairspray.. my friends daughter performing in the show.. cool to see another success for her. On the train through to Carterton to visit family.. no car so I'm sorry I didn't get to call into your store Pam.. the train back to Wellington and stayed there, then yesterday a trip with my darling aunt - age 78 - yes I'll come! :-) - on the Northern Explorer through to Hamilton.. amazing scenery through this beautiful country we all share, the viaducts completely impressive - and a little scary! Now with Jenni and her partner before returning home soon.

Take good care everyone.. :-)

Hi Julie,
sounds like you've had a lovely time away :)
My news flash is ... I'm moving house ...AGAIN! lol
Living out of town & commuting with increasing fuel prices and limited work hours has proven unaffordable for me so I'm going to be a Nelson city chic :)
I've found a 2 bdroom flat in walking distance of work so I can park up the car, get fitter again & miss 15 has her own room when she comes to stay. A win all round I reckon.
I move at the end of the month ... and then I'll have a dinner party to thank my long-suffering friends who have become very good at moving me & my gear!
Happy days :)
