Hi guys. cooks, because I can now be reasonably certain that my manner and beliefs did not cause your chronic hives or adrenal/thyroid problems and that their etiology is much more easily explained, I can most sincerely, and with a clear conscience, wish you well on your journey to find a solution, or maybe even a cure.

Bumping for a crisp and sunny Nelson winter's day...flat sea, sharp outlines of the mountains, raucous tui...all is beautiful in Paradise on the Mainland :)

I had a birds-eye view of it all yesterday with a flight in a microlight from Motueka to Anchorage and back. Just stunning!!!

Enjoying a day off today and packing up ready to move on the weekend.
But there's been a development there - I'm not moving to Atawhai after all.
My new home is in Mapua.

Hi winnie. I have had a house exactly like that. Really, it was exactly like that. We had 11 wonderful years in that house (in Rotorua) before we sold. I am sure you will too. They have since moved our house to Pukehina. i loved it and I have some great memories. My children grew up in it and it should serve you well.

It is a wee cutie isn't it :)
Can't wait to call it home. I'm allowed a cat here too so I'll be visiting the SPCA soon.
I've always liked Mapua - great cafe's, a craft brewery, great wineries up the road and Rabbit Island next door.

Hi all. Had an "interesting" weekend LOL. Had an allergic reaction to a magnesium powder I had been given, so spent the early hours of Saturday morning from about 1.20am until 5.30am up and in the lounge so i didn't disturb my Dh. Fave swollen, lips swollen and huge welts that drove me damn near crazy absolutely everywhere including the palms of my hands and my feet. Needless to say, have stopped taking the powder, but still covered. Luckily the swollen face has subsided, but the tops of feet and around my ankles today are so swollen, i can hardly walk. So, i am sitting here, doing paper work with my shoes oss and my feet up on a chair until someone comes in, then it is a dash to put my shoes on and try and walk as normally as possible ( which is agony)

Oh Pamela - you really are having a rotten time of it!!!
Best wishes & a big cyber hug coming your way ... hope you're feeling better soon!

No, I dont Ellie. I have read a bit about them and epi pens contain sulphites LOL. I did end up at the doctors tonight as both feet are badly swollen, so no work for me tomorrow. I can barely walk at the moment because they are so swollen and tight. Dr was talking about how your stomach lining( as you age) can develop small holes. The only option was a larger dose of prednisone ( not even an option for me) or take one of the antihistamines and put some hydrocortisone cream on my feet, which I have done and I have my feet elevated. Got to check with the insurance broker to see what I might be eligible for ( in regards to paying wages so I can be off for a few days)

My sympathies. It reminds me of bad times with my girl when she had similar reactions. What your doctor is talking about is leaky gut. It can be healed. If you want to know more google it or let me know.

Thanks. He did not say it was leaky gut, but did talk about it being very common for most people as they age and peri-menopausal women seem to get it more than men. It was just another avenue to consider. I have read up a fair bit on it, however, most of the symptoms I dont have.

Angel hugs hun,get well soon, thinking of you xxxxooooo
