ok, had a look, to be honest with the buying a new machine thing, I'm going to get a NEW one, with warranty and all the accessories, as finding the feet etc for my current machine is a headache. Thanks for pointing it out though franny :D

hi coalie the fabric will be sandwiched between the 2 hoops then hold the hoop (there will be 1 hoop inside the other) the holding thing is bigger to hold on to

Hi All, have been doing my stepson's books, he is an architect but because he has taken a very long break over Christmas and didn't give me all his stuff before Christmas have a lot of catching up to do and also his GST so no sewing for me today.
Got some lovely Moda fabric at the new quilt shop yesterday. Am making a quilt called Garden Party and have been looking for blue sashing and this is perfect, sort of dark and light blue marbled fabric, just gorgeous. Also bought some green the same as green is always such a handy colour to have - well it is isn't it? Plus a few fat quarters which I really, really needed just not sure for what yet.

The fabric sounds great and yes green is always handy i will second you on that one :)

Hi Coalie, no I don't like bookwork but he really struggled when he first went out on his own and I foolishly said I would help out just until he got established. Well he was doing very nicely and I was still doing the books but then with the downturn in the building industry he is back in the doldrums and I am still doing the books. Hopefully things will pick up again - and probably I will still be doing the books.
Just off the take the dog out, she keeps coming in looking at me with sad eyes and runs to where her leash is kept.
