Morning all,
life's good here in sunny Marahau. I'm getting on really well at work & have a great bunch of people to work with :)
I've been over to the Bay for the weekend & miss 14 had won a $100 voucher at school from The Naked Possum so I had a lovely belated birthday meal at my old work. It was good to be out there again.
I'm in the process of moving into the caravan & should be a gypsy queen again by next weekend.
Julie - so good to finally hear from you ... you & Jenny have been in my thoughts. I hope the recovery goes well.
Have a great day all xx

So glad Jenni is on the mend Juliewn - you and she have been in my thoughts. If she's determined to get back to yoga she probably will - attitude is everything, or almost. My daughter injured her neck at 18, which has left her with a legacy of pain but she manages it pretty well and it has gradually improved over the last eight years. There are things she enjoyed but she knows she can't do (kayaking and skiing); she could never study for long hours at a time so had to be more organised and start earlier; and she needs to be careful how she positions herself at work but mostly she just gets on with life perfectly well.

Time for me to have a rest, have been so busy over the last 2 weeks, with shifting and all.
Hello to everyone else, tis so quiet in here, hope your day is going good.

Having an off day to day. Meant to go for a walk at lunchtime and leave fairly promptly but instead struck a glitch in the spreadsheet model and ended up working right through lunch and finishing late. Raced home to put on the mango chutney I'd had the fruit soaking for overnight, prepare the lamb shanks for tomorrow night and get dinner. The top on the bottle of oil I bought at the supermarket wasn't on properly and I didn't notice so trailed oil out of the bottom of the bag through the house (wish it had been a plastic bag). Turned on chutney then discovered too late that my smallest Zwilling Henckels knife had fallen under the gas element and the entire handle had melted. Cut finger when peeling potatoes. I'm just sitting quietly with wine now - don' think I should start making cushions. Ah well tomorrow will be better! Hope everyone else is having a more successful day.

Lovely day here. Planning to finish filling the pots on the deck for a good display for Christmas and make my shortbread stars. My baby boys were 23 yesterday - I really am getting old when they start wondering whether they can still say they're in their early twenties or whether they have to confess to mid twenties. Miss almost 26 is adamant she's only just heading for mid twenties, but as she was asked whether she was allowed a drink and assured that they had coke is one of Nelson's leading restaurants last month, she can probably carry the illusion of youth a bit longer. The waiter that asked was all of eighteen too!

Oh motorbo, what a nuisance and an expensive and maybe painful one at that! Had a look at a nice property today on 1 hectare with a gorgeous old barn. It certainly has potential.
http://www.ljhooker.co.nz/HC3GES It had a nice "feel" to it. Just needs some cosmetic work and then later on some work at extending in certain areas. Has great views to the mountains.

Aww Cooks,I can see me living there,so beautiful, the kitchen is the same where we are now.
We love our new home,so nice and warm, even the outside
There is a blood red rose just outside my kitchen around the front of the house,so beautiful,we have done the right move this time,so very happy here, and my health is picking up,at long last.
