I have one - for a month now.
Personally, I find it a "clunky" system to use - on a TV anyway. Am learning though. Got some help from Panasonic NZ before lockdown as to how I get access to Freeview system as was missing the old TV based guide and ease of use. Got that answered, but tech help could not steer me to any User Manual for the Android system as it applies on my new TV. Think he got info I wanted by asking his 10 year old son.
I still have a Panasonic DVD recorder attached to TV via HDMI. Often use that as my tuner - and all the Freeview features I cannot access via Android (I refer to ability to scan ahead for days or a week, eg, and to review programs for the whole day whereas via (android) TV can only look ahead about three hours).
And, sound quality on new TV is not as good as the old model.
Would really like to find out about ALL OF the stuff I can do via Android system on TV.

thanks. trouble is, to me, NONE of the new tv,s have good sound. u still have to pair them up with a sound bar or stereo to have that cinema type effect. specialy when watching movies. even panasonic themselves ADMITTED to me that the tv,s just dont have the sound quality. i have always liked panasonic and have always had panasonic tv,s and i really like this android one that iv seen. AND it does have the disney app, where as the older ones dont. ( my 2019 one doesnt, and u cant add the app which is annoying).

@mariner26
Pressing RED (TV Guide) button on remote should produce the same functionality as on all NZ Freeview certified TVs. Does your TV connect to Internet?? Is hbbtv enabled??

Note: TV guide has nothing to do with Android, it is broadcast in different forms via DVB-T (EIT next/now data and used to have MHEG5 based guide which I think may be deprecated if not dropped) and Internet (hbbtv).

Thanks Mr spyware.
Yes, hbbtv is on. Only red button on (bluetooth) remote is the On/Off button.

I thought all the remotes had to have the coloured buttons to be Freeview certified. E.g., 49jx700z remote as shown in link.

https://www.panasonic.com/nz/consumer/televisions/ultra-hd-t
vs/th-40jx700z.html

RED is the Internet sourced guide and GREEN is OnDemand.
