| My advice is: Change batteries if wireless. (make sure they go in the correct way) Unplug and replug if on a wire. Is it a 'red light' mouse, or an old 'ball' model? Clean the sensor light. Check external wiring attachments to make sure they are still all intact and firm. Mouse drivers are usually automatic plug and play, so don't actually know if updating the driver would help, but you could try that too. Buy a new mouse if nothing works. hazelnut2 - 2021-08-12 16:02:00 |
| Are you referring to an actual mouse or the on screen cursor ? If mouse is it connecting with a cable or is it wireless? Edited by nice_lady at 4:37 pm, Thu 12 Aug nice_lady - 2021-08-12 16:36:00 |

| And Are you using a mouse? Edited by nice_lady at 9:17 pm, Thu 12 Aug nice_lady - 2021-08-12 21:16:00 |
| Good question by nice_lady, most people would home in on the mouse itself. If it's a laptop, some have a key combination that can turn the touchpad off, many HP's for example, if you double-tap the top left corner of the touchpad enables/disables - some models have a small amber LED in the corner to show if it's off or on. Other brands may have similar option. If it's a laptop, do you have or can you borrow a normal corded USB mouse to plug in and try? is the PC/Laptop working normally in other respects? cookee_nz - 2021-08-12 22:23:00 |

Too often people come on here, ask and take all the help, don't give feedback on the final resolution (to help someone else in future) and you never hear from them again - until the next time something doesn't work. But credit where due, we were thanked for our help so that's always nice of course. cookee_nz - 2021-08-14 00:34:00 |
